Excellent Work!

I spent $420 on July 10 to have my irrigation backflow preventer replaced. The law requires that this system be tested when it is removed from the line and replaced. I spoke to the manager at Marlo, she argued with me stating I need to pay extra to have a system that they just installed tested (which should have been done at installation. She stated that the system needs to be tested each season which the township confirmed is not true. After arguing with me she reluctantly agreed to send the compliance paperwork to the township. The township has sent me another notice stating that my system needs to be tested and confirmed that they received no paperwork from Marlo. I cannot do business with companies that take advantage of veterans. Most of my subdivision has lawn sprinklers and Ive shared this experience on my HOA Facebook page

Zakk arrived at our house today to test one of our sprinkler heads that we were concerned about. He confirmed it was broken and replaced it. Zakk was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He answered all of our questions and the work he did was excellent. Thank you very much Zakk and Marlo.

Update: They have not returned paperwork with Saginaw Township and are not on the list of certified backflow testers. Gave them my credit card over the phone for backflow testing. That was over two months ago in July. I was told theyd have someone out in two weeks. Then I called back the end of August and once again, they said two weeks. Just called on September 16 and they said two weeks again. They claimed they returned the paperwork to the Township but thats not what the Township says. Maybe they told the Township two weeks.

Marlo hands down is the best! Zakk showed up on times introduced himself & explained what services he would be providing. Upon completion made sure to tell us everything that was done was very courteous & professional.

Dustin was knowledgeable about our needs and provided fast and friendly service! Added sprinkler heads and adjusted the balance to compensate for same, leaving the area looking the way that it did before the service call which is a plus.

Marlo was so easy to work with and they did such a great job with the install. They could have really trashed my lawn and throw seed down, but instead they saved the sod and tamped everything down, then raked all the excess dirt back into the grass. It was like they were not even there. Everyone was friendly and was there to get the job done, and done right. I was referred to Marlo by a reputable Saginaw business and I can see why. The team got it done. We have 1 acre of grass and the team knocked it out in one day of work. Took two days due to rain but the were quick and efficient.

They really know what their doing. So Hard to find irrigation companies to work in Oscoda. They were reasonably priced coming from Saginaw. I got my system updated with more zones and hooked up to city water. It was exclusively hooked up to well now I have both when we ll gets too low. Have best lawn on the block.

Recently our irrigation system needed maintenance, and Alec come out the same day to help. He was not able to complete all of the job on that day so he came back early the next morning to be sure our system was up and going. He is very friendly and efficient. He worked quickly to help us and is always very professional.

Recently use this company for irrigation repair and startup. The technician John Williams was personable and professional. It was obvious he cared about his work. I signed a continuing service contract after the repair. This company is highly recommended.

You could not even tell that they had installed a sprinkler system in my front side and rear yards. They were constantly asking me questions to make sure I was pleased with everything that was being done during the installation process. You can tell this is family owned and run business is not no fly by night sprinkler system company that like I had before.

Overall I would give Marlo an A+. From the quoting process through the install everything was great. Mark did a great job explaining things to me while he quoted the work. Between the quote and the install Hannah answered all my questions and worked around my schedule. The install was great and the tech explained the system very well. As a landlord who doesn t live on site, it can be challenging to schedule repairs while accommodating your tenants. While looking for a company to complete a required modification to the water valve where the water comes into the building, I was given a few names of companies to call, with Marlo being one of them. Not knowing any of the companies personally, I just began going down the list. My second call was to Marlo, where I was met with a happy personality and a willingness to provide the service that I was requesting. I am not joking when I say that every single person I have spoken to at Marlo has been amazingly helpful and pleasant! Through email and phone communication, the job was taken care of efficiently and effectively, at a reasonable price point! Throughout the process, the individuals at Marlo communicated everything, from initial scheduling to calling me to let me know that the technician was on his way but was running slightly behind due to a meeting that ran late the technician still arrived during the stated 30 minute window, and when my tenant didn t answer the door, contact was made with me and I ran over to let him in. I thought the technician might be a little salty because of the 10 minute wait it took for me to get over there, but I was met with smiles and a kind gentleman asking how my day was going. This company is super accommodating, highly professional, and easy to work with. I will most definitely be saving this company in my phone, and will reach out with any future needs. Oh, and if you are wondering about the first company I called I m still waiting on a call back. It s been well over a month so I m assuming they will get back to me any day now

Our irrigation system was damaged when 3 area dams failed and our home/property was flooded in May of 2020. This spring a very knowledgeable friend recommended Marlo Irrigation Company in Saginaw to us. We set up an appointment with Marlo to convert from our lake watering system to city water. John Williams was the service technician who performed this system change. John was very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. We had multiple breaks in our water lines as well. John was able to do the conversion as well as make these necessary repairs. Thank you, John, for your hard work (especially during the heat and humidity) to get our system back in working order.

I was Happy to pay Their high prices because I expected a different warranty The warranty is useless it is only 30 days and it is only on the service call Any labor they put you ll be charged for I did not see Value in their High prices since they did not value the warranty will never use them again

We just had our sprinkler system installed by Marlo today and let me tell you, they were amazing! They were on time, very courteous, professional, and thorough. You can hardly tell that they were even here and they even put down grass seed on the spots they werent able to fix with sod. We are so anxious to see how our yard looks next summer!! We plan to hire them to come back when we expand our back yard to add more lines. The app they use to manage all the zones is very user friendly!! I didnt know anything about sprinkler systems and after they left I feel very confident in my ability to tweak the setting if need be. Thank you again Marlo!!!!

MARLO Sprinkler Service has always provided excellent service! When they open my sprinkler system in the Spring they dig-out dirt and debris with a special tool to clean all sprinkler heads. As well, they warranty their winterization unlike other companies. All employees are professional, experienced, and friendly.

I used Marlo Company to replace my old system for my business. It was constantly breaking down, and since Im right on Bay Rd in Saginaw with high visibility, I wanted the lawn to look good. They did a great job and this is the best my grass has looked. When I found out they had Wifi controllers available, I called them back to update my controller that was only a year old. Love it!

I took a break from office and was waiting for the lawn service guy to arrive sometime after 3pm. After waiting until 4:30pm, I called them and they reconfirmed that someone will be there anytime. 10 minutes later they called me and asked me to reschedule to some day next week! Total waste of time.

Service is fantastic. Payment terms can be a challenge. I just got the bill in the mail 10/11 for a date they note as 10/5 with a 10 day payment term. Very good at understanding the concerns with this and our discussing it.

The tech that came out today was great. Very professional and personable too. He made sure to step down the 12 Mist Heads And also gave enough time for my MPR Zones to be blown out correctly. He also made sure to take care of my neighbor, who has a booster pump and came over and asked me when he had a question. I highly recommend Marlo!

This season Had an interaction with this company were we had some slight communication errors, but the office staff was friendly and accommodating. Ultimately Marlo made the situation right and replenished full faith and confidence to utilize this company for lawn service. We have 4 properties with Marlo. 2 new installs and 2 already established, so I have experience with them in both environments. Problems are never blamed on the previous installer. Each property is well taken care of with great customer service. Each employee is polite, respectful and informative. I am a person that looks for details and I want to know what is going on with everything. Each worker has no problem with me walking to each sprinkler head to look for problems. They cut the grass around each of the sprinkler head to increase the life of them. I like how they take notes on possible problem areas on an ipad mini. This method makes sure that when the next technician comes out if he/she is different they can easily read the notes and take action if needed. I highly recommend them for new installs and to take care of already established systems.

After 10 years of working with the company that installed our sprinkler system, we had a major customer service breakdown and I went looking for a new solutions. The folks from Marlo were friendly and competent. Exactly what else would a good sprinkler company be? Repairs which were not done with the previous company were completed and maintenance done. Heres the real reason I am so happy... every time theyve been to my house, my wife tells me not only that they were at the house, but also how exceptionally nice they were.
