They failed to complete all that needed to be done. They do not return phone calls/messages. There aren’t enough characters allowed to explain my disappointment w/ this company. They are not reliable & they’re very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company!
The Dobis team has done a great job with our lawn. We had a few different people mowing over the last few years but nothing compares to the work Dobis has done. Awesome guys who do awesome work!
We utilized Dobis Landsaping in Saginaw for several years and did not have an issue with quality of work; however, compared to our other industrial properties their pricing was elevated. This past season we utilized a different service due to reduced pricing. Early this season without a contract, Dobis accidently mowed our property during the same period that our other landscaper was mowing. Our office identified this issue earlier in the year when our new landscaper noted that the property appeared to have been mowed. Dobis had been contacted and we were told that the mowings would be credited as we did not have a contract in place. Our new landscaper ran into health issues and was unable to finish out the season. I reached out to Dobis regarding starting a new contract for the remainder of the season and was informed that without a signed contract they had mowed our facility several times earlier in the year, and that we would be required to pay $840 in past due invoices to resume our service. Considering we did not have a signed contract in place, this is most definitely not appropriate. We will not be utilizing Dobis in the future. This was inappropriate and opportunistic for them to try to do this. I do not feel it was an ethical business practice to try to extort money from a customer after they as a business made a mistake earlier in the season.
I was at a 4 way stop it was my turn so I went and I made eye contact with the man in the other vehicle a dobis landscaping truck as I went so did he if I wouldn’t have sped up so fast he would’ve hit my vehicle where my infant child sits. I went around the block to ask what’s wrong with him and tell him I have a BABY in the car he laughed and his coworker flipped me off. Such great people working for you guys really great job hiring!!
Gabe the owner came out. Sweet guy. Looked at my backyard. I do daycare so he recommended state approved wood chips. Gave what we feel is a fair estimate. The yard looks so much better. Highly recommend Dobis for your landscaping needs.
We started the process of getting quotes to have new landscaping put in. We received two quotes and selected Dobis Landscaping. A rep came out to look at our project and submitted a plan for removal of all shrubs and new going in. I made a couple changes and approved the plan. They were quick to come out and took them 2 days to complete the work. The crew that came out was fantastic to work with. They worked efficiently and quickly in 85-90 degree weather, and kept everything clean. They asked us for approval on placement every step of the way. In all of my interactions with Dobis employees, I sincerely felt they value their customers. We will definitely use Dobis Landscaping again.
Dobis is very respectful of our landscape and their lawn care is second to none. Always looks great after they mow. They also do a very nice job winterizing our irrigation system in the late fall. Highly recommend them.
Dobis cuts the lawn at my apartment complex. They scalp the lawn edges with extreme string trimming, drive so fast (possibly with dull blades) that they sometimes just leave swirls in the grass instead of actually cutting it, and sometimes mow over trash laying in a wide-open area, which leaves torn-up trash strewn about. They don't always trim along the fence behind our building, and when they do, they leave it messy.

Dobis Landscaping did a job next to our house. My son was so entrigued by the equipment used. The foreman let him even sit on a couple pieces. They did a nice job and cleanup up the street very well.
I was promised a quote on Monday June 8th for lava Rock in front of my house and they didnt bother to show up or call. Not a Chace I would hire them and trust them with my money!
Had them grade and hydroseed my back yard 2 years ago in which they did the job way later than we agreed upon. The grass looked horrible. Wanted to have them come back to add dirt and hydroseed again since I had a new fence put in and they said they could get my job done in the spring. They never called back or returned my calls and fall is coming shortly. So Im stuck with dealing with the horrible grass that they put in. Never again will I deal with this company and the funny thing is that I was speaking directly with the owner.
Dobis landscaping did our lawn a year ago.We ve had nothing but positive experience with Gabe and his team.They came out and redid parts of our lawn from where the hydro seed had washed away due to heavy rainfall.They even straightened our tree in our front lawn.Gabe and his team are very prompt.We would highly recommend Dobis Landscaping.
The boys at Dobis are top notch. Their responsiveness and attention to detail is why we have had the Dobis Landscape team complete many projects for our business and family.
Missed coming when they should for no good reason as all other lawn care in the neighbor was being cut, then because they did not show up they billed us double because our grass was long. Figure that 1 out. Needless to say we found a much better company to go with. Will not recommend them at all

Don t contact this company if you want follow through or a decent response. As a small business owner in nearly the same industry, I get how busy you can get. However, that doesn t negate the clear fact that a company should communicate with its customers or potential customers. Stay far away from this company.
We have used Dobis Landscaping for approximately 4 years from landscape design to the day to day care. They were always there to educate us on the care and upkeep of our complete landscape. We always found them to be there when we needed them. Their prices were competitive and their crews always did what they were required to do and were always very respectful to us and our property. For these reasons we would recommend Dobis Landscaping for any of you landscaping and/or day to day needs.

Dobis landscaping did a great job today during the morning snow storm....They were prompt and did a GREAT job. I would recommend them anytime!
They have been nothing but outstanding for the past two years. They anticipate my needs and work with me proactively when they see something that needs to be done or more importantly something that no longer needs to be done. I definitely would recommend them for landscaping and lawn service.
Bad business ethic!! Would not recommend to anyone who is looking for good follow thru and a company that is willing to treat people as a potential lifetime customer. No accountability!! Too bad...In this economy the best advertising is word of mouth!!
