This Company operates offshore, they will get your payment information and youll never get rid of them. I bought a prepaid package over a year ago, when it was up, they automatically started charging me monthly.. I did not authorize the extension. They made me believe they cancelled it, but the charges kept appearing. This is a dishonest, money grab, like Hotel California, you can check out but you can never leave! Dont give them your card info!!!

True Green is the best lawn care service in the country. They have the latest technology in transforming your lawn to a healthy look. They manage your lawn with weed control, fertilize and aeration. My lawn is the greenest looking lawn in the naubor hood. They also treat your trees and shrubs. I have been pleased with their services. I highly recommend True Green.

My initial TruGreen service arrived promptly, addressed each of my requested needs and has asked assurance that I am satisfied. Excellent.

I would never use them again, and would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Their business practices are completely unethical, and their services are a total scam. They did nothing to improve the look of our lawn after 1 year. So, once our annual paid-in-advance contract was up ($2,200 for grass and trees) we called to cancel. They refused to return our calls, so we called the person directly who sold us the contract. She also did not return our calls. Each time we called, we made it very clear that we wanted the contract canceled immediately with no continuation of service going forward. They refused to return our calls, and then automatically billed our credit card for $640 without our permission. DO NOT under any circumstances use this company.

Simon was knowledgeable and answered my questions explaining why and what he was doing. That was appreciated.. Over the years TruGreen has been great for my lawn and trees / shrubs. Their service has made a difference on the health of the plants in my yard; which also made it much more tolerant to extreme drought conditions.

They cold spam without unsubscribe options. No, but you can change your terrible marketing practices and stop violating CAN-SPAM law.

Put my information in online to try to see pricing but never signed up for service and now they wont stop calling my phone constantly. I received 6 calls within a few hours. Do not give them any information or they will harass you.

Only my second service, my lawn wasnt terrible (looks great from across the street) had some bare spots, still do. I will let them continue for another month or two. Then Ill decide.

Today Dana did a great job servicing my yard. The others that came out in the past were so in a hurry that I noticed they serviced part of the yard and not all . Believe me. I watch what they do when serving my yard .

I prepaid a 1 year contract for several thousand dollars for lawn maintenance (weed control) and prepaid a separate 1 year contract for tree and shrub care. The contract was for a specified number of treatments, to occur every 4-6 weeks. The tech came out for the first and second treatments, and then simply stopped coming. I made repeated calls to reschedule, new dates were confirmed and then again tech does not come out and only get a notice that maintenance was not able to be performed. 90+ days passed and my yard now is full of weeds. I made repeated calls to customer service to cancel. I was told the service would cancel and I would receive a full refund. No refund was posted and in their app it still shows that I have a contract, but no service dates on calendar. This has been a poor experience. If a service is prepaid there is no reason why it wouldnt be performed. There is zero feedback from TruGreen as to why the service wasnt performed, zero accountability and apparently a refusal to issue a refund after it was said a refund would occur.

Had this company for 6.5 years. Up until recently, it was a 4 star experience. Since then, they have sent a tech out 4 times, and done no work, continued cancellation, 1 tech lied about work done while we recorded him sitting in his car, and just got the 4th cancellation notice today. Time for me to move on.

In general, the customer service has been awful. Many times the tech never even showed up to perform the service, but I was still charged. I do appreciate the most recent visit by Paul, who actually took the time to knock on my door and then explain to me what he was applying, and what I should expect with it. This rating is only based on his visit, as my experience with this company overall has been substandard to put it nicely.

Excellent professional service

The only positive thing I can say about Trugreen is their aeration and overseeding. Otherwise, save your money and have Amazon deliver you a bag of weed and feed for half the price of a months service. Saves on gas and you get a little exercise. This company is nothing but a scam.

This is the worst business scammers, they send me hundreds of emails everyday. I never subscribed to their services, I do not know how they got my email, but no matter how many you request to unsubscribe or block them, next day for sure you get their un-welcomed and unwanted emails. Stop scamming people!

Have call customer service 5 times. Nobody calls me back.I have used them for 10 years and now have Destroyed my lawn. Even customer service cannot get the local manager to call me after a month of call. Nobody cares there. Because of my posting six days ago someone call me from headquarters office and had the local manager call me on his personal cell today and came out to see how bad thing look. If someone read this from headquarters Please call me back or send me your direct phone number please.

Generally good service from TruGreen. Usually a different technician comes for services and some are more knowledgeable than others, but all have been friendly and will answer questions.

Weve been using TruGreen for awhile now. I called as our grass had crabgrass, weeds, etc. They sent a tech out to spray and he used the wrong chemical and killed a good portion of our grass but not the weeds or crabgrass. We called to complain and were told a Manager would be out to investigate and come up with a solution. Without warning, we got a text saying the scheduled visit was canceled. We called and set up another appt. Once again, without a reason, a text came saying it was canceled. We called again and they said a manager would call. No such call ever occurred. We called again and they said theyd have the manager out....never showed. So this issue continues to be unresolved.

My rep Justin Simon was excellent today! He was communicative, and helpful! I asked for his input on the condition of the grass and he took some pics to share with his supervisor for additional input. Thank you!!

Richard is fantastic!! I ONLY WANT RICHARD from now on!!! He educated me and told me why my lawn looks so bad -because it hasnt been treated for crabgrass!! He didnt have that with him today, so I hope I can get another free treatment for crabgrass! Up until now, my service has been horrible and apparently when I called, I complained to the wrong people and nothing productive was done for at least 3 months, so my weeds just got MUCH WORSE!!! According to the customer service person, I had been calling sales people? I thought my Asst. Service Manager, Steven, was supposed to respond to my needs, but he never called me back! After my years treatment (paid in advance), I was just going to QUIT!! But when I called the right number, I got an understanding Customer Service Rep, who explained I should have been calling her all along. She gave me a free treatment, which happened today, but unfortunately, they didnt have the crabgrass treatment product that I need. I hope they can come back for one more free treatment for crabgrass. I still havent decided if Im going to continue after a wasteful bad year of treatment! My lawn looks waaay worse than it did when I started!! This is no reflection on Richard, who came today, he is SUPER!! And he is training Natasha, who will surely be as professional as he is.

I was a three year happy customer. This year, they have failed to show up for 5 consecutive appointments since May. No explanation even after contacting customer service. Seems they dont have the staff to service existing customers. I would appreciate some candid answers so I can plan my lawn care accordingly. November update. The team has successfully executed the last two visits, so hopefully they are back on track.

My yard is looking much better since I restarted TruGreen treatments this past fall; a hundred times better than last year when I tried taking care of my yard myself.

Signed up for a year of service in August of 2022, there were multiple months they did not come due to weather. It s January 2024 and I get a voicemail saying they are coming the next day, which I thought was weird as my year was ahead up. I call to make sure they are not coming, as they were never able to stop weeds from growing. I find out that they started charging me for services in June, July, August, and September of 2023. This did not match up with what I was sold. The call center was messaging with some manager who told them they were sorry about this and would only refund one of the services they charged me for. I made sure they cancelled as I do not trust them as they were not upfront with the pre paid year of service I agreed to. Update: TruGreen reached out to me to follow up with my review, the very next day. They were very understanding and went beyond to make sure the situation was made right. They were concerned about not being able to get rid of the weeds and mentioned they return for free in that case and can escalate if that does not take care of it. I let them know that besides not being about to get rid of all the weeds (they got rid of the majority of them), they did improve the overall appearance and thickness of the lawn. To reflect them reaching out and going beyond to ensure my billing issue was made fair and to reflect the overall appearance of the lawn, I m raising the review from one star. I still believe the initial person to come out should not make it seem as if you re pre-paying for 1 year (12 months) of service. That s where this issue all stemmed from.

TruGreen for the most part is fine....But local responsiveness needs to improve. Guys burned my lawn...

A salesman came to my house around mid May 2023 and offered me a service of fertilizing, weed control, and over seeding. It was late spring, already hot, so when I asked about the over seeding schedule, he said it would happen in the fall so the heat wouldnt kill the sprouting grass. As fall approached, I asked each technician upon arrival if they were going to over seed my lawn. Each one said the next would do it. Finally the last one said hed do it, so I went back inside and ate my breakfast. Later that day I got my invoice emailed to me that mentioned nothing about seeding. So I used the online chat support. They tell me that over seeding is included with a more expensive plan which theyd be happy to give me a quote for. Excuse me?!? The reasons I paid a year in advance included over seeding. I didnt choose a plan online; I didnt choose a plan at all I didnt even know there were choices. I simply bought TruGreen lawn service from an actual human with a clipboard in my front yard. Apparently he lied about whats included. Theres no way Im paying more to get what I was sold in the first place. Update: Customer support emailed me to inform me that over seeding is not even an option for my lawn type. I feel like a fool for accepting a handshake on my front lawn from this company.

Scam company dont use them. Most of the 5 stars reviews have only one review. makes me think they are ether employees or fakes. They have a show up window longer than a cable company and even then show up late. They literally dont do anything it would be easier and cheaper to do what they do yourself and actually have results. There customer service is nice but doesnt have any power. I have moved service days and they still show up. All they do is spray some liquid fertilizer on your lawn or pesticides on your bushes and that is it. And it doesnt seem to do anything not once has new grass actually grown from them coming out.

I would like to thank the Trugreen specialist for the outstanding customer service he provided me during my recent lawn, trees and shurbs service. His professionalism, prompt attention, and resolution of my concerns are commendable.

Worst customer service I have seen from a company. Good service at setting you up but even getting someone out for our first service took a month and countless calls. Just had our follow up service took several weeks and calls to the call center to schedule with no response. Only got someone out by texting the rep that came out last service. Then on the follow up spray the only sprayed 1/4 of the committed area and haven t been able to get someone to come back out. The call center appears to not communicate to the service department and only takes the call to move on to the next call. They commit to schedules to get up of the phone resulting in another call days later after a no show.

My lawn looks like moths have eaten big chunks out of it. And its. not for a lack of irrigation.

The worst. No way to contact anyone directly when you have an issue-which will be often. You get directed to a call center and they take notes and send nowhere. Never a response, no local office to call. Reschedule your service and dont tell you. Have the wrong products on the truck so cant service your current issue. Tech says its offices fault etc. I have tried to be patient with the new remote way of doing business but I am done.

I got true green for my boyfriend but they said that they only really work on existing grass and so I needed a landscaper to come and redo my grass so I ll be able to have true green next year. I cancelled true green and they still charged me $1000 even though I cancelled a head of time. I did not have that money in my account and so now my bank account is negative money. I called true green and told them and they said they would fix it and it would take 3-5 business day and it has been 7 and they still have not refunded me and now my bank charged me for over drafts. This is so unprofessional

They handle lawn, trees, shrubs feeding, sweating and lawn pest control. Very dependable but institutional.

If one wants a good looking lawn for the neighborhood then TruGreen provides the cost effective service. I always get positive comments about my lawn and all I do is mow and water. TruGreen is very responsive on any issue and advice on mowing and watering has worked out great.

TruGreen helps keep the weeds in check, aeration as it should be, and grass fertilized to be as bold as it can be.

Overworked and underpaid.

Had new sod installed so thought I would try bought a year package for almost 400 bucks first service they did not even step foot on my lawn and just spread granules in the back. Customer service is a joke the guy who called me back to try and save the service was more intrested in his side conversation than what I had to say you can keep your discount and I can get a bag of weed and feed from HomeDepot for 40 bucks and do it myself

Horrible service after 10 months I have over 8 different weeds taking over my lawn. Poor communication and a RIP OGG

I have used them for years and say Im going to quit every year. I finally quit today. They simply do not do a good job and I suspect the five-star reviews are fakes. My grass was weed Free and much Greener when I took care of it myself. I will admit it will likely cost me a bit more to take care of it myself but it will look much much better. You would be better off to pay a quality gardener to provide the extra service and get the results you want. If youre the type thats not going to do anything on your own then use them its better than nothing. If youre the type that wants a good looking green weed Free lawn then run the other way and dont waste your money.

Elm beetle control on our Elm tree! They have been a life saver - they spray four times a year.

The first tech was not happy to be there. Since then, we have had fantastic techs and are so happy we stayed with this company. Lawn is looking better and they make great suggestions.

First, and most importantly the lawn looks great. I never have to worry about selecting the proper product to use. The yearly aerating has been very good for the lawns health. Second, there is great communication--I always know when the technicians are coming for treatments, and its easy to reschedule. Third, the technicians are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. We appreciate your great service.

Said they serviced yard, but when I watched on camera they did not. Called them and they Rescheduled and then never showed up. Rip Offs!

They did a terrible job of weed control and seeding. when I asked them to come back and fix the issue, they promised to return and never showed up!! After I spoke with Corporate Customer service, they had quickly corrected the issue and were a pleasure to deal with. I would use their service again.

I have been very happy with the quality of my lawn and shrubs from Trugreen. They always call in advance of all service. They improve or maintain all my treatments at a very high level.

Dont waste your money, after I cancelled my service they wouldnt come out for a reservice to get rid of the weeds that came back. I was told twice that I would have to reup my agreement for them to visit my house and get rid of the weeds.

I had lived in my house for a number of years and my front yard was in really bad shape. Very little grass and great growing weeds! Hired Tru Green and they have done a fantastic job. I now have the greenest yard on the block! No weeds, bugs, etc. Highly recommend them.

Awesome professional service. The technicians / specialists seem to take great pride in their work and always leave useful information on problem areas. My lawn has never looked better. Was really struggling trying to care for it myself.

Lawn looks great, green, healthy and weed free. Service specialist, Paul Burgess, is informative, knowledgeable, and courteous. Would recommend this service to anyone who wants a nice looking lawn.

I was called persistently the minute I expressed interest in the service. When I finally was able to answer, the customer service rep immediately assumed that I was ready to sign up and start service. When I asked for him to talk me through things it was like I was bothering him for the info. He was impatient with me and rude. When I was done asking questions and getting a breakdown of the cost I asked for it to be emailed to me so I could discuss with my husband. He ignored my request and wanted to get my husband on the phone then and there. I again expressed that I would like the quote in writing in an email so he could review it with me and he said have a nice day sarcastically and hung up on me. I am so shocked by this appalling service thatvi immediately jumped on google to leave this review. He was a salesman who couldn t give a rip about actually listening to my needs and just wanted to make a quick sale. Do NOT use this company!

The program works, and the service is friendly, and convenient.

Although its only been 2 applications, we are seeing an improvement to our lawn. Jeffrey, our specialist is very personable and helps us understand what is going on with our lawn and is taking action to get it on the road to recovery

TruGreen out of Sacramento CA started out like a good idea but they just sort of abandoned us...Aug 24 (2 months ago) they sent an email to prepare for aeration and havent heard hide nor hair from them since. Lawns got infested with crabgrass and had to apply weed killer and pull weeds myself. With this experience I cannot recommend them.

The people who do the actual home services on the lawns,trees, and shrubs are very nice & are also very knowledgeable .They will explain to you, their services ,material used that day and recommendations for your lawns and trees.

Tru Green always calls to verify appointment ahead of time. The tech is always on time,always very personable, professional, and efficient. A very nice company to do business with. Professional organization.

TruGreen provides reliable high quality care for my lawn. They notify me before each visit. When they arrive they ring my door bell to alert me that they are on site. After the treatment they tell me what they did and what I need to do. The service person also provides me with helpful info on lawn care.

The service is always done in a timely manner. Very accommodating and issue resolving. I wish that you can set an automatic date of preference for when a bill can be paid, just like the credit card payments.

I have wasted far, far to much money on TruGreen to do nothing but give me the run around. I want to hope that other offices are more professional than the Sacramento office. As a client for the last 2.5 years you would think I have given them enough time to make my grass look like we pay someone to make it green. I have three formal complaints against this office, yet no improvement. Its really my fault for sending them my hard earned money to do nothing. I have tried to cancel three times, each time I have been told by a nice customer care rep that my Sacramento office will take care of the problems. Eight days ago I called to complain to the actual customer care (not the answering service) I was asked to give my office five business days to get back to me. At the end of seven business days I called back the customer care because the (916) number is just an answering service, to which I was told again by a nice customer care rep that this office will call me back in the morning. If you are considering using TruGreen Sacramento for your lawn care do yourself a favor and send $48 a month to a local food bank. Your grass wont look any worse, and at least someone will be benefiting from your money not just the brainless management at the Sacramento TruGreen.
