A.D. Landscape Service in Sacramento

We had scheduled an appointment in May 2023. Tony from AD Landscape Service showed up, gave some great input, and measured everything on the property. We communicated, and submitted the required information via email as requested by him. After that communication (and follow-up attempts), we have not heard back from them since the third week of May. Not sure if they are so booked with other projects or simply did not care to return the message, but this is not how you treat your clients. We have been through lots of vendors not being professional in communications and not respecting their clients nor their time. As consumers, please be aware and filter through all the vendors before you commit the project. Your time and your home matters!

Hired Tony to install valves and controller that cost almost $9,000! Since then one valve failed and flooded a small backyard. Left message to make appointment for repair. No response. Had to install a new valve at my expense. I m 68 widow with limited physical ability and knowledge. Called another company that came out but didn t hire them after I talked to Tony about the problems I was having. Said he would install a filter on the system. Haven t heard anything. Second problem ignored. Then a pvc pipe broke in the front yard. Again I left a message without a response! Third time! Not to worry won t be calling you to landscape my backyard. $$$ OOPS? I m so disappointed. Update: October 2023 Have had problems with multiple valves leaking. And new problems with the sprinklers in the front yard. Holy cow! Why wasn t valve covers installed over the six zones and 17 valves? Now weeds are growing into the wires and Continue to cause problems. Will put covers on at my own expense. I guess 9k doesn t cover- a professional water system? When my roof was done the crew cleaning up debris accidentally pulled the wires off-it took several appointments to retire the valves. Still can t get it right. What I got was a half A** job with cheap valves-no covers and problems. Thanks from an 69 year old widow.

AD Landscape provided excellent design and installation services. Our backyard was transformed from a water consuming yard full of redwood tree roots into a walking garden with different areas containing a variety of drought tolerant plants and flowers. The new retaining wall at the back of the yard was very well built and provided the support needed to keep the sloping yard from impacting our back fence. Tonys knowledge of plants, trees, flowers, retaining walls and water features was just what we needed to get exactly the walking garden we dreamed of! We appreciated how hard his team worked to stay on our timeline and they always cleaned up our backyard, side walkway and the front of the house before leaving each day. Many of our friends and neighbors have complemented on the beauty of our unique drought tolerant walking garden. We highly recommend AD Landscape for any of your landscape needs!

These guys are the best! Very professional /helpful. Weve used them twice and will definitely call them again. The first time we were so pleased that we didnt even get other bids as we knew theyd do a great job for a great price

i live fairly close from the business building on florin, iv had no issue with the workers or anything until recently. After hours they hang out in front of the business and have starting leaning and drinking by my car. i dont mind they wanna hang out after a hards day work but i mind them leaning on all parts of my car. iv parked my car in the same sport for almost 2 years and they just recently started doinv this and i belive its not ok

Tony made our backyard beautiful! Not only did he install a drainage and irrigation system to address the water when it rains and the lack of water during the warmer months, but he made it all look seamless and beautiful and was so professional and responsive throughout the process. We had a great time going through all the plant options at the nursery with him and love how he placed them all throughout the yard. We are looking forward to watching the drainage system in action this winter and are enjoying the serenity of the landscaping (and the beautiful plants, trees, and general greenery) in the meantime. They were the epitome of professional, arriving on time after confirming several times. Once on my property they were helpful and informative without pressuring for a bid on the work. They offered insight on how to do the work myself as an interim solution and we re free with knowledge. Will definitely use for future landscaping work.

We hired A.D. Landscaping to help us with our backyard project. Well worth the money. Tony Sr. Tony Jr and Geo and the rest of the crew were very professional and communicative throughout the process. From the beginning I felt confident that they knew what they were doing, they explained everything in detail, and were very helpful when we ran into a snag. Ill definitely be hiring them again to finish our front yard. Our backyard was a complete mess before and now its completely usable in a xeriscape fashion.

Just had these guys here for the week redoing my front and back yard. (Grading, brush removal, trench and drainage, rock wall preparation and planter box/lawn area preparation). They were extremely professional, very nice, and did an amazing job. They cleaned up after themselves which isnt common with all contractors, and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I cannot recommend them enough.

We used A.D. Landscape Service to install sprinklers and valves, prep a walkway for pavers and prep areas for new sod. From the moment we requested a quote until after the service was completed, Tony was extremely responsive and helpful. He provided ideas and recommendations for the project as a while and also gave suggestions for the areas we wanted to do ourselves . Tony was responsive to our changes as the project progressed. He and everyone on his crew were knowledgeable and professional even coming out and assisting with some repairs to areas we had completed after the project was done. We are extremely pleased with A.D. Landscape Services and are recommending them to anyone who needs assistance with their landscape.

Tony, Tony Jr., and his crew and staff are very professional and they do excellent work. We had our entire front yard and back yard re-landscaped, including design, watering system, drip system, and trees, and we were very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend AD Landscape.

Excellent work by Jose removing vines off my fence and my neighbors fence in my backyard. He took out the vine roots as well. I highly recommend them for any landscape work here in Sacramento. Thank you Tony who came out and gave me my estimates and scheduled my appointment. I will be using them for other clean up projects soon.

We contracted with Tony earlier this year. His team did excellent work and we were very happy. Then a few months ago service went downhill. We now learn that Tony sold the home gardening services to A & M Landscaping who have been doing our yard. Their performance is terrible! We miss Tony & the excellent work his team performed

Tony and his team did a phenomenal job in redesigning our backyard. Tony has been doing my landscaping for over 15 years and during this period I have consistently found him to be very sincere. He and his team make practical recommendations and they are very transparent!

Horrible experience. I called A.D. landscaping to give me a quote for damage to my lawn that I needed to submit to my insurance. They said no problem and that it would be free for a estimate. At 3pm on the day that they were supposed to give the estimate, I get a call from a representative saying there will be a $95 fee for the estimate since it is for an insurance claim. I made it clear on my original call that this was for a insurance claim. This company has wasted my time and put me behind a week on getting an estimate and my yard fixed. They acknowledged that this was their error and despite this, would not honor their original word on providing a free estimate. I would not recommend doing business with them as they seem very dishonest and are trying to get extra money at last minute when they know we are trying to get a quote. Above is my original review and this is my edit based on this company s reply. I don t know where they got the idea that I was just trying to pocket the money as I had every intention to hire this company to do the work after I received an estimate. I am so happy that I learned early on what a horrible company this is. I asked my insurance company to hire a landscaper, but they said they do not do that and that I had to hire one and they would pay them after receiving a quote. I will happily contact another company to give me a quote and hire them to do the needed work. I normally never leave reviews, but am so happy I did in this case so others can see how poorly this company is managed. I m insulted by them making assumptions that I was trying to pocket insurance money. I was very clear with them in the beginning that this was an insurance claim and all I want is my lawn repaired, but this company was too greedy to see past this. Save your time and money and go with a company that is honorable.

I have been working with ad landscape for over 2 years and have two large dogs. For a nominal extra fee they help me keep the yard poo free and are truly kind and easy to work with. They keep the yard looking prestine, super happy with the office staff, Kayla. She is incredible. I swear she works in her sleep and answer any question or fixes any issue right away. A+

My experience with this company has been terrible. Called them in the beginning of June about some concrete work I needed for my walkway. They told me they were booking a month out which at the time was fine, but normally would of been an inconvenience to most people. I booked the appointment and last week 7/3 a guy came out to survey and write up a bid. He spent 5 minutes and told me he would email me the bid. As of 7/9 I haven t received any communication from them. I reached out to them and have not received a response. You d think waiting a month for them would meant something. Instead, they wrote me off after I waited around for them. They can t seem to care about my project and maybe it s not enough money for them to deem important. Update: I m struggling to See how posting my first and last name on this site and becoming defensive is going help the situation. Not a good look for your company.

Tony and his crew are great! They are very professional, thorough, and detailed in their work. I ve utilized their services on several occasions and have been pleased with their quality of work every time.

We had AD Landscape implement a design for our backyard. Tony (Jr.) took the time to understand exactly what we envisioned and to provide excellent input and recommendations. He kept in close communication with us throughout the project and was always available to answer questions or accommodate any requests. Gio, the working supervisor, was conscientious and he and his crew did a fantastic job putting in our new landscaping. AD Landscape provides quality work and excellent customer service. Tony has stopped by after the job was completed to make sure the lawn and new plants were still receiving optimal sprinkler coverage. We highly recommend AD Landscape.

Tony and his crew are best!..They are true professionals. Our story: We had a low-flow Hunter sprinkler system installed in our large yard by a different Sacramento sprinkler company in 2014 at the time of the drought. At the time we replaced our older high flow sprinklers with low-flow Hunter rotating sprinklers. After the new Hunter system was installed we discovered inadequate water coverage issues in several areas of our yard. After several more attempts to have the dried areas corrected we resorted to pulling a hose and a sprinkler to water those dry patches. Finally, this year, we decided to hire A and D Landscape after reading their positive on-line reviews. A and D Landscape delivered exactly what Tony Dominguez (hes the owner along with his dad) said that they would do. And they did it on the timetable that Tony laid out for us in his estimate.. We do not hesitate to recommend this A and D Landscape.

Very unprofessional. Workers sleeping on the job on my patio furniture. I paid for them to remove bark and instead they put leftover on the side of my house. Cheated me out of my money then sent me to collections after I paid them . I would never use this company ever again I wish I could submit photos. Very dishonest I trusted them to do a job correctly and they didnt. And they overcharged me please do your own research Furthermore Im not mad about the collection that will come off my credit report what I am mad about is the dishonesty and how youre trying to defend the dishonorable service. You have absolutely no integrity Tony.

A & D are awesome, combined my two systems into one system. They fixed everything. They were very thorough. I even hired them to do my weekly lawn service now. A+ service!! Ask for Tony.

It should be zero stars but you dont have that option. Unless you are a super big customer, they wont call you back. They even came out and looked at the work I wanted done, said they would get my estimate in the next day and still no response. I wanted to start weekly service, have trees cut, some bushes cut back and my sprinkler fixed. No response. I have been waiting 12 days and 3 phone calls for my estimate. The last time I spoke to the office, they said I would get my quote on the weekend. I just called now, its 2 days past the weekend and the message says they will call back with in 15 minutes. It has been and hour and a half. I dont post reviews, but I find their ad misleading and they wasted my time.

AD Landscape installed a drip system and a new manifold for my backyard sprinkler system. I installed my own sod (dont hire me I am not that good) and along the way I rendered my outdated sprinkler system (not installed by AD) unusable. I contacted Tony panicked that I wouldnt be able to water my freshly installed sod. Tony was awesome and quoted me a reasonable rate and had his guys out the next day to install a new PVC pipe sprinkler system. Any time I had a question Tony would respond promptly and was always polite and conscientious (never condescending even if it was warranted). I can not thank Tony and his crew enough for the awesome and thorough job they did. In addition to the great irrigation work they also cleaned up after themselves and me :).
