This is the guy & crew to hire. Do not look anywhere else! He has done at least 4 properties of mine all along the coast of Maine. We hired Mike to removed 2 large, old pine trees on our property that were leaning towards neighbors' homes. He and his crew arrived early and got right to work. They were professional and efficient. They cleaned up as they worked and left the site in great condition. While there I asked Mike to look at other pine trees and recommend pruning and/or removal, which he did. They returned 2 days later to compete that job, and in the process was hired by my neighbor! He returned the following day and ground several stumps. I would highly recommend Mike and his company for any tree work you need done. You won't be sorry!
I have used mike multiple times. He does an excellent job. Between him and his crew they get the job done timely and with professionalism. You couldn't ask for a better person and crew. Highly intelligent person who knows his craft. He is very polite and cares about the customers needs.

I had several difficult trees removed by Mike and he did a great job. The trees were in the back of my house, they were big, very tall and close to the house. No room for a bucket truck. So Mike parked a crane in front of the house and cut the trees and took them over the house….amazing! Mike and his crew are very professional and take pride in their work. They are very nice people too! I highly recommend them.
Mike and his crew are AWESOME! I hired Mike to do both Tree Work & Paving and I couldn't be happier with all his work. Mike took out a tree and some large branches that were in a very tight spot close to my house and did a fantastic job. Mike did such a great job cleaning up after, you wouldn't even know he had been there if it weren't for a little saw dust. Mike paved a driveway, walkway, and patio area and it all came out beautifully! His attention to detail, work ethic, character, and professionalism is remarkable. Michael and his crew did such a great job on our extra car pad off our driveway. Michael was very responsive, courteous and you can tell he’s knowledgeable and cares that he does a good job. They performed an astoundingly professional and efficient felling of a city based courtyard beech tree. I watched much of the procedure. Incredibly skilled work on a difficult matter. They were pleasant and positive during a complex procedure.
My experience with Mike Mills doing some work at our home was extraordinary. Michael and Andy are kind and compassionate as well as extremely professional. They responded to our call promptly and completed project in record time. This is an excellent company to work with. They just cleared a few trees in my backyard and they left my backyard in excellent condition. They are thorough and they didnt leave a mess. They were a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them over anyone else. Ill definitely use them in the future.

These guys are great I highly recommend them!! Michael and his crew showed up on time took out 6 large junipers, 5 huge trees, including two massive pines that had probably been here since the beginning of time! Cleaned up and cleared out by afternoon. 100% professional and reasonably priced and just super nice guys to work with
Mike, Patrick and Hunter did such a AWESOME job taking care of the tree branches that were hanging over from my neighbors. Mike was so nice as he explained everything to me about trees that I did not know about. Now my flower beds are getting alot more sun and I dont have to worry about getting hit with dead branches. I was fortunate enough to have Mike Mills and his team recommended by another landscaping company that admitted honestly that my job was beyond their capabilities. Mike responded to my text and was at my door literally within 30 minutes. The quote was fair and much to my surprise he was able to fit me in the next day Fantastic!! To say we are satisfied with the service, communication, level of professionalism and follow up...would be a huge understatement. Mike and his team including his dad took the time to explain everything needed, made recommendations and did an amazing job transforming a dark over grown yard with 6 large trees removed, to a now wide open sunny site. Nothing was left to chance, clean up was thorough, and not a twig missed At the end he walked around with my wife and went tree to tree making sure we were satisfied. A friendly, honest young man, a true professional arborist with a great team. Highly HIGHLY recommended. 6 Stars.
I contacted a few providers to cut overhanging limbs and those encroaching on our home. Mike was the first to respond, said he would be down p.m. to give an estimate and was true to his word. When he arrived we further engaged him to repair cracks in the driveway and apply sealer. Mike went the extra mile to make sure the work was done promptly and in advance of a 50th college reunion soiree held at the home. Thank you Mike!
I hired Mike to cut down about 7 trees. He & his crew did such a fantastic job of making my property look much better that I had him take down 15 trees both in my front yard & back yard. While he was at it, Mike did a lot of trimming of the trees around the work. Each tree was a complete job before moving on to the next one. The tree was cut, chipped, removed and all debris gone. It took 2 days but I was left with no mess at any time. Mikes crew were pleasant, efficient and fast. One of the best companies I ever hired!
These guys are the real deal! I called 6+ companies for quotes on removing 2 large oak trees and trimming some others away from my roof, and Mike & his team were the only ones that responded. They were professional, timely and we re able to answer all of my questions and explain exactly what needed to be done and why. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

Amazing job ! I was beyond pleased with the results Mike and his crew delivered. He is extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and efficient. In addition, I think hes one of the hardest workers I have ever met. So was his co-worker, AJ Green. They cut and hauled trees and limbs non-stop for 8 hours in 85-degree heat coupled with OPPRESSIVE humidity levels. On top of everything, the costs were below all estimates given to me by his competitors. I highly recommend this company, and I wouldnt hesitate to call him back for any future work I will be needing. Thanks again Mike and AJ, you guys rock !!!
I contacted Mike Mills from a friend that had work done by him, he really raved about this guys work. So we tried him to seal coat our driveway first, Mike did such a awesome job and we needed some tree work done we figured we would give Mike the job of cutting trees down and a awful lot of trimming to do, his work ethics, and his employees were surpassed what I expected. I would highly recommend this company to do anything around my house again. I am sure in the spring of having them do more work for us again. God Bless Mike and his staff...
I have met with many paving contractors regarding the revamping of my property... when i came across Girard Yard Service, i was pleased from start to finish! Bert Girard came over immediately for a FREE estimate and was very nice, informative and pleasant to work with. My new Driveway came out Beautiful and i would definitely recommend anyone who needs paving work to give them a call.

My husband and I had a very large and old pine tree nearly up against our house removed by Michael, Bert, and their crew, and they did a fantastic job. Within a week and a half of contacting them for an estimate, they were able to schedule us in. Within one day they had the tree removed safely, and cleaned up entirely before they left. Couldn t beat the price or service. Would absolutely recommend them and use them again!
Bert was a pleasure to work with and did everything he said he would do and more. The way he explained what was needed confirmed his experience and knowledge which made it easy to trust him. Bert is someone who says what he means and means what he says. His employees had great work ethic and friendly as well. They had all the equipment needed to clear some very large trees in tight spaces, and it was fun to watch! We will definitely hire them again.
