🚩🚩🚩I definitely do not recommend this company! This is the second time using them because I thought they did a decent job the first time, but wow was I so wrong. This company has awful communication skills, with unreliable and sloppy work. Let me start by saying one of the owners ordered the wrong turf and had it installed it was completely different texture and different color and reeked of cat pee. I contacted them and they told me I needed to purchase a deodorizer for my brand new turf and that would fix the smell. Why should anyone need to deodorize brand new turf?! Then the owner convinced me to settle on adding a putting green to break up the to different turfs because that same owner said he would be in so much trouble having to rip everything out and redo and install the correct turf. It isn’t what I wanted but I am a flexible and understanding person to a point. But then he had the audacity to ask me to PAY to fix his mistake?! The putting green turned out in the shape of a peanut instead of the kidney shape he had convinced me with. We installed a rock bed (by ourselves, not the company) coming off the pvc fence because if you weren’t informed the sun reflects off the pvc fence and burns the turf (we found this out through experience with the first install- no one told us). The edging they did was cut so poorly and so sloppy, it just looked terrible. It took them over a month to fix this situation and now the putting green was reshaped but two different colors because the sun faded the original one, which once again I was told after installing . The edging wasn’t fixed and they decided to cut corners and use the rocks from the rock bed to form a straighter edge. I had to continually reach out and ask for resolution, and was brushed off many times. I could go on, but I’m so over it and just hope that at least one person is saved from the grief that I had.
Decided to spruce up my backyard a bit and contacted BLUE OCEAN TURF and we are ecstatic with the turnout and the look of our backyard. A truly professional company, great installers. And good pricing. I would highly recommend BLUE OCEAN TURF, if you are looking to spruce up your home.
I was quoted 3200.00 for this job. When the rep came to install the green he said that I would have to pay an additional 300.00 for the size that we already agreed on. Instead of using one piece of turf, they sewed in an additional piece that you can clearly see the seem. There is now a bump in the green. They also ruined my existing lawn because it had rained the day before. We also had ants digging through the green a few days later. I would never recommend or do business with this company again.
We recently renovated our backyard with artificial turf. We could not be happier! From start to finish, Matt -our customer representative was professional and very thorough with our project. Highly recommend this company.
Tom, Matt and their crew could not have been more professional and easy to deal with. They were always present and happy to bring me up to speed on how installation was coming along. It was a big project with a lot of moving parts and these guys were simply happy to help, which is something that is rarely seen these days. I urge anyone considering turf to speak to these guys. I received 5 quotes for this large project and Blue Ocean Turf was the clear winner after speaking with Tom and getting his assurances that everything would come out great…and of course it did! The photos speak for themselves. My kids are going to have a blast in our new backyard. Thanks to Tom, Matt & the crew!
We have been struggling with trying to keep what little bit of grass we have around the pool alive for the last 7 years. We have two big dogs and have tried everything. We called Blue Ocean Turf and we couldn’t be happier! Customer service goes a long way, and Marty, Matt, and Tom, were great and really awesome to work with. The install for us only took a day, and my yard transformed before my eyes. I’m so pleased with how it came out, and I can tell how much cleaner everything will be. We wished we would’ve made the call sooner!!! Thanks guys!!!!

I had an awesome experience with this company. The owner, Tom Bowman, is totally focused on customer satisfaction. From picking up the phone every time, to showing up on time all the time, and choosing employees who do the same. Start to finish, my backyard was transformed in one week. It s beautiful, and natural looking which was a big concern of mine. Tom definitely took the time to make sure I got what I wanted. I would recommend this company to anyone! They are terrific!!!

Never showed up for turf estimate and when I called to see what happened they made a lame excuse and rescheduled . And never showed up again! . In this case 2 strikes and you re out . Bad business practices .

Tom and his company were amazing guys and so easy to work with from start to finish. I found them online and sent them an email with dimensions of the area I wanted a artificial putting green and chipping area. Within an hour I received a call back and by the next day we had it designed and ready to go. They arrived the day they said they would and finished the job in one day. I had been debating replacing my sod with turf for years. I had gotten a couple estimates and recommendations but never felt like I d love it; finally when Matt came out I knew I wanted to work with them. We ended up doing the entire front and back of the house and it couldn t have come out more perfect. It looks like a whole new home. The work turned out great, very happy with how everything looks. The faux green wall is amazing and it hides my air conditioning and pool equipment really. The back yard now has less bugs, and is completely usable which it wasn t before. Just a really nice quality job which transformed my backyard. The putting green also turned out great.

I had a surprisingly wonderful experience with Blue Ocean Turf. I am redoing my back yard and while most vendors complained about lack of labor and parts of availability and gave excuses why they cant get it done on time, Blue Ocean team took less than 5 days from estimate to finish to put turf in my yard. I was also very happy to see that Matt and Tom took part in this work and personally supervised to make sure its done well. They managed the entire customer experience. And it was evident how they are obsessed about their brand image and their customers having the best product. I would recommend them without hesitation anyone wanting to use their product and service.
Tom, Matt, and their team did an amazing job. I contacted them for an estimate, and Tom responded promptly. He gave us some unique design ideas that we werent even contemplating, in accordance with a reasonable price. We felt that Blue Ocean would take our project seriously and professionally. And they did. They put us on the schedule quickly, they arrived when they said they would, worked hard daily, and they finished the job in a few days. The end result is that our yard looks better than we thought it would, our friends and neighbors are impressed, and we are very satisfied. We highly recommend them.
