My old lawn cutting guy is no longer available. Stoney's does my neighbor across the street, so I got on board. They did a superb job on my "fall cleanup" service, and quoted me a reasonable price for lawn cutting starting in the Spring. So far so good; they seem like a really excellent company.

Stoneys Landscaping was amazing to work with! We recently purchased a home and the property needed a bit of tlc. Josh was prompt in reaching out to me after I sent an email. We discussed the yard’s needs and he was able to stop by the property around 30 minutes later to provide a quote. He was honest and talked me through the estimate and what was needed + what wasn’t. His crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date/time. They were all very courteous and did great work! The entire project was wrapped up in one day and the yard looks amazing. They improved grading in two different areas, weeded the entire yard, trimmed shrubs/trees, and did general yard cleanup. The yard looks amazing and I’m already looking forward to working with them for future projects!
I messed up two ground cover gardens in my yard and shared my dilemma with Josh. He came over the next day to take a look at it and came up with a good solution to remedy it. It was resolved within the week. I look forward to working with Josh, and his crew at Stoney’s Landscaping for all my future landscaping needs.

Stoneys Landscaping is very reliable. They do our gutters twice a year. They will put down mulch and will do trimming is requested. One complaint is that sometimes there are ruts in the lawn from the riding lawn mower. Wish they would pick up some of the bigger twigs.

Stoney s Landscaping completed a grading improvement project for our small condo association. They also installed window wells on basement windows. What impressed me the most is that I contacted John from Stoney s a year ago and he stayed with us and provided great communication all the way through the completion of the project in September 2020. John and his team did an excellent and thorough job, answering all of my questions being conscientious about protecting our lawn from the equipment used on site (we had some rainy days hindering the work). Also, they actually had their eyes and noses open and discovered a disconnected sump pump discharge AND a gas leak at one of our gas meters! Very conscientious work at a reasonable price. Planning on working with them again ASAP on more lawn projects!!
I contracted Jim at Stoneys to remove some shrubs and some yuca plants. I asked him to dig the yuca plants out but he assured me that spraying them was the way to go. I told him I did NOT think it was going to work. And sure enough they came back. He came back at least 5 more times to spray and now next year they are back again like he did not do anything. I wouldnt be so upset if all he charged me was a thousand but he charged several thousand. So I think who ever is looking for him to do work like this should be careful because he does not stand behind his work.
Steve is dependable, talented and priceless. He does business the way people conducted themselves when I was a kid...you know, he knows the definition of responsibility, reliability and accountability. Stoneys Landcaping refused to provide an estimate for some work I wanted done. When I kindly asked why, their response indicated that they were only interested in jobs that made them lots of money. Theres hundreds of other landscaping contractors available that will provide you with estimates and provide better service than this one.
