I’m incredibly pleased with this company! I have tried multiple services over the years and have never seen such great results in my lawn. I continue to be fascinated at how lush my lawn is. Could not be happier. Great people to work with, very accommodating and care about their customers. I’d give 10 stars if possible! Thank you to everyone at Lawn World!
Last yr was great, this yr not so much. A portion of our lawn appears to not have gotten any fertilizer.. Called and asked if they could come back out to take care of it. They sent a guy back out and it appears he just did the edges.. called back they said I was being dishonest and offensive for saying they didn’t do a proper job… I payed for the service and canceled future applications. Pictures speak a thousand words, pretty clear where it was fertilized and not. Clear line where it’s been fertilized and not.
This company is legit!! My grass has become nice and thick, super green and no weeds. Sometimes we have to mow it twice in a week!! The company is easy to talk to and work with. They have done a great job and I am so pleased. Sometimes I just look at my lawn in awe.
We have over an acre and I was spending endless hours on spraying weeds and goat heads each month and our lawn after the drought looked awful. We hired lawn world last year and they did an amazing job! No weeds or goat heads. And our lawn looks fantastic! We just signed up for another year.
The best, hands down! With every visit I learn more about my lawn because James has a wealth of knowledge and a passion for lawn care. I have never been upsold; they just treat as needed and give recommendations on how I can make small adjustments (re mowing, water, etc) to make big improvements.
We have been with this company for 10+ years. I love that they are a family owned business and vested in quality and value. More importantly, our lawn is beautiful. We have rental properties that are treated, and are not always available to check on services. They are always good to communicate with our tenants, leave status notes and instructions. The special services like pre-emergent, and exterior insecticide have been very successful. National chains and employees are NOT invested in the satisfaction of customers like our local small business owners. We love Lawn World.
I have a home daycare and have 8 crazy kiddos AND a large dog running around our yard all day. We've been using Lawn World for the past three years; now starting on our 4th summer. My lawn looks beyond amazing!! We had a graduation party last night and had a ton of people over. Our lawn was the talk of the night! People are constantly asking about our lawn! I SWEAR by LAWN WORLD! In the past we tried a different company for 2 years and we're constantly being told of some new services we needed. With Lawn World there are no surprises. They have very competitive rates and their workers are great to work with.
We have been doing business with Lawn World for over 10 years. And have been quite happy with their service in that period of time. We had an application done this year. And it just didn't seem to work to kill the weeds. My husband made a phone call to Lawn World and explained our situation. The lady he spoke with said that we should really have 5 applications a year. We have generally done one to two, and have been just fine. My husband asked if someone could come out and look at the type of weeds that we have and maybe possibly change the application formula to take care of the problem. He said that he would be more than happy to pay for their time and the application. A week and a half later the owner comes out, introduces himself and then my husband explained to him that everything had worked well in the past. For whatever reason, it didn't work this time. He had a bad attitude the minute he got out of his truck. He immediately got upset and said he is not interested in doing our lawn and that we should find someone else. My husband was extremely shocked and surprised at his attitude for being the owner. He continued to say that we never pay our bill and he is always trying to collect money from us and that we are on a cash account only. We did have some financial problems in the past and had paid our bill late so we agreed to be on a cash account and have prepaid for our applications the last several years. Who wouldn't want an account that prepays for their service? The owner then told my husband that he had been out several times and met with me. That he had probably spent at least 2 hours and had never charged us for his time. I remember requesting to meet him at our home a couple years ago and we walked around our lawn and my parent’s lawn. I had asked on a few occasions when the lawn was sprayed that the tech pay special attention to the weeds that were growing. Not thinking that that request was out of the ordinary. The owner was extremely rude, totally unprofessional and for being a business owner did not care at all to lose our business after 10+ years. My husband was extremely polite to the woman in the office when he had requested someone to come out. We have recommended Lawn World to many people, but we will never recommend them to anyone anymore. If the owner is that rude and that unprofessional, he does not deserve customers at all. His arrogance was unacceptable.
Ask them to come and give me a price, and I was told they could not do that for a week or two. They are 5 minutes from where I live.
Austin did a great job. He had some good suggestions to help some shrubs and trees.

When I moved to Weber County my brother referred me to Lawn World after he had used them for many years .... they have kept me happy as well. I went with the other guys to help my son-in-law out with pricing but came back to Lawn World.

I called to schedule an estimate. I told them I needed someone to walk the property. Less showed up and parked. I asked him to please move because he has parked in reserved parking. He immediately got very upset and said he was disabled and didn t want to walk the extra 10 feet to the door. I was very confused, both by the anger that was suddenly directed at me and that the company sent a disabled person to walk the property with me. When I paused to decide what to say next he snapped at me and asked what I wanted him to do. I told him I wanted him to leave. I called the company to find out the name of the person they sent and found out it was Less and he is the owner. Needless to say, I m going with a different company.

We signed up for lawn care last year (2017). They did a fantastic job. Our lawn looked great, the did all of the treatments we paid for. It was fantastic! When we got the letter in February of this year to prepay for services for this year (2018), we were more than happy to sign up for, and pay, for multiple services. We were quite surprised to receive a letter in late March stating that they had decided to shrink their service area and were selling our account to another lawn care company out of Lehi - which has turned out to be its own problem (we had to call to get them to come out for one of the five prepaid lawn treatments, we prepaid for the dormant oil on our trees that I m pretty sure hasn t been done, and we haven t gotten the deep fertilizing treatment for our flower beds and trees that we prepaid for - catching the drift?). Lawn World did great work and we would have loved to have kept their services. Too bad they gave us so little warning on their shrinking service area that we re now stuck with another company that appears to have been ill prepared to handle the large influx of additional customers.
We paid for weed control spray but noticed we had more weeds than ever. We called to complain after another customer told us that the weed spray looks like blue spray paint so its 100% clear that they never sprayed our lawn. We called and complained and were told that the tech said he did spray each visit that he came. The next time he came surprise surprise we saw what looked like blue spray paint on our weeds for the first time the whole summer. They never sprayed our weeds prior to this as it is very obvious and noticeable. We paid for a service that we were not receiving. I wish I had read others reviews about this place before trying them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. RIP OFF, UNTRUSTWORTHY. Update: In response to Lawn Worlds reply about not having my name on file. Its under my mothers name. There will also be an account under all three of my aunts and my grandfather and two cousins. And none of us will be back next year. Just call in? We did and were told that the tech DID spray when clearly he did not until we complained. Lot of good it does to call in.
Horrible company to deal with.... i asked them to spray for a certain weed which they spread for the the pervious year. The tech showed up and didnt spray for it, I called back in the same day the tech was at my house they said they would have to wait to see what the tech said at the end of the day. 2 weeks later i called back in because i havent heard from them and they told me i would have to pay for a second trip out there for them to do what i asked them to do in the first place.
I would rate the company and -10 the so called owner LESS INGRUM was so very rude to me when I was pointing out my concerns. Maybe cause he doesnt like to be in the rain I didnt even have a jacket on and he was bundling up like the rain would make him melt. He was rushed to leave and told me I was being rude and ignorant cause I was giving my concerns about my lawn. He said I am #1 in Utah and at the lawn care business I know everything not in my book your business manner sucks and I would never recommend anybody to you. Because of you Less Ill make sure my siblings(12ofus) that use your services will no longer thats for sure!!

Absolutely the worst experience Ive had with customer service in my years as a consumer. When I placed a service call for my yellowing lawn (3 days after they sprayed) I was told it was my fault, that I didnt know what I was doing and should be watering my lawn for ONE HOUR in each zone every other day. That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. There is not one other company who will tell you that. Even in the dead of summer, its 1 inch per week. When I told them that this sounded incorrect, they told me that they had been in business for 30 years and I didnt know what I was talking about. I demanded a refund for my pre-paid year and Im hoping that they stop giving horrible information to their customers. Please think twice before using this company. You will not be treated professionally, nor with the respect you deserve as a paying consumer.
Wow! This place amazes me. We hired them a few years back with a yearly contract to take care of a rental property we had but found out that their service guys came, stood around, and left (witnessed by a tenant/my daughter). When I called them to report what happened I was told that I was a liar! He claimed that after he talked to his service guy that they sprayed the front lawn but there was a dog in the back yard so they coulnt go back there (the dog was in the house with the tenant as she witnessed this). It didnt matter if it was witnessed or not, the owner continued to belittle me and insisted that his service guys were infallible. Needless to say we cancelled the remainder of the contract. I just learned today that I am banned from using their services (not that I was going to but I did call to get an estimate for comparison)!. Wow, banned for letting them know their service guys are not doing their jobs....I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. The owner is very rude and shouldnt be in business with his attitude!!!
