Turf Masters Lawn Care in Roswell

Would never use again tried the 2nd time with Turf Masters and no results in the treatment. Neither do the technicians never do the whole yard just the front. Or theyll just sit in the truck and never spray the yard a complete WASTE OF MONEY!

Poor communication and customer service. I wouldn t recommend hiring Turf Masters.

They were ok to begin with, then I started getting weeds and my grass is dying. Called and let them know and cancelled service they didn t really seem to care.

My lawn was partially covered the guy did not go to the right side of the house my wife was standing in the patio door when he got there, and he never did the right side of house and I check my camera and he never did the right side I called customer service and told them what happened they told me that someone will be calling me and someone will be out there know body called or came out I got a missed call and tried to call back but I keep getting put on hold then it says I should get on line I had a message from turf master saying well he was out there 5 minutes and that s about the time it should take So in other words my wife and my camera is lying. This is by far the worst response ever I will never use them again I would not recommend them My name is Anthony Ballard

Scam! They killed my yard, looks worse than it ever did. I believe its because every technician that came out diagnosed it with something different and sprayed it with a different treatment. The end result was awful. To top it off, after I canceled, they came out and sprayed a final time, to which I said I wasnt paying for it because I had already cancelled. They told me it was already scheduled so I need to pay. I refused, so they sent me to collections. Terrible company, run!

WARNING TO PET OWNERS Do not use Turf Masters! We had an incident recently when my wife was pulling into our driveway and saw the Turf Master technician spray chemical around (or on) our golden doodles. This was the last straw for us and we stopped using them. I spoke with the Service Manager, and he was surprised to hear this and stated that their policy is to let the homeowner know to let the dogs in and in the event, they were not able to contact them to simply skip the house and more on. Later the Service Manager called back and told me that I had given permission to him in the past to spray chemicals while the dogs were outside, which is a complete lie and he agreed it sounded off. Regardless I would not recommend Turf Masters at all. We had spent a lot of money on lawn care, tree and shrub and mosquito service only to feel let down. Prior to the incident with the dogs, I had already called them out a few times complaining at how my front year with Emerald Zoysia was looking, it was not in good shape, and he agreed and was going to work on making it better. Save yourself time and money and do not use Turf Masters, they are not a competent nor fair company to work with.

I would not recommend. Multiple times technicians came and treated half my yard, but invoiced at full price. Chemically burning my plants, etc was common and I had issued a complaint. Technicians turn over often and rarely knew much about agronomy, albeit friendly. Lastly, it appears as though applying product in a half hazard way and doing so as quickly as possible is their goal. Again, I would not recommend. Also note, the response given by Turf Masters, is not to appease me but to those who read the reviews. Strongly recommend other venders.

All I know is I used to have Winter Weeds and now, (so far) after using them for one year I do not. The other weed companies could not manage it and I had the Poa overgrowing my backyard. None this year. Its a very hit or miss business, and not everyones gonna be happy. But I am satisfied and resigned for year 2.

This is the worst lawn service. My lawn has never looked so bad. Even after their area manager came out and retreats the weeds are just getting worse. Almost $100 a treatment you d think they at least try.

At a time when many people go to extraordinary efforts to broadcast their displeasure with a service provider all over social media rather than attempt to just have a sane and constructive conversation with the people that run an established business, Im hear to tell you the team at TurfMasters stands behind their products and people even when a mistake occurs. As a long term customer well aware of what it takes to find and keep people who are customer centric, TM has been fortunate to have both qualified staff and professional leadership that is hands on. Hats off to Nick, Mitch and Eventz! A great Team!

This Company needs to work on their quality control. My cameras clearly showed they never sprayed the yard completely. Told them weeds were out of control and they did nothing

Poor customer service! Technicians show up to treat your yard and sit in the truck for 10-15 minutes then put a sign in your yard, treat a few areas not the entire lawn and leave. Do they not know most people have cameras? Call for a return treatment and same results. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you Turfmasters! Do not recommend!

My husband has given this company 2 years to provide the service and results they kept promising. Our yard is legitimately one of the worst in the neighborhoods now, full of weeds or just plain bald. It s so bad he put a sign in our yard yesterday and that is NOT like him. Seriously wondering if they have done it on purpose to keep us using them.

Terrible experience with this company. No one showed up to perform treatments to our lawn for an extended period of time (approximately 6 months +). When spring arrived, it became evident that a large portion of our yard was covered in weeds. After contacting customer service and speaking with a manager, Turf Master acknowledged they had missed multiple treatments and stated they would treat the lawn at no charge with two treatments to address the weeds. After the second treatment, we received an invoice for a regular/seasonal treatment that was not performed (the invoice did not align with the free weed treatment). I contacted customer service who acknowledged the invoice was a mistake and was told they would correct their billing records. After a couple of weeks, I began receiving text messages about the same invoice not being paid. Again I contacted customer support. The representative I spoke with was argumentative and would speak over me. Eventually the representative spoke with one of her peers and finally acknowledged (for the 2nd time) the invoice was a mistake and the account would be fixed. I requested that our service be canceled and asked that I receive confirmation of the service being canceled in writing, along with confirmation of the billing mistake. I never received anything. Fast forward, we just received a notice from a collection agency for the invoice Turf Master confirmed was a mistake multiple times. I do not recommend doing business with this company - they do not delivery the service they are advertising, you have to call them quite a bit to get them to deliver service, and then they turn you over to a collection agency for a billing mistake they acknowledged making on multiple occasions.

My neighborhood has a nice big NO SOLICITING sign at the entrance. However, today an extremely rude person from Turf Masters decided to disregard the sign and come up to my door to knock/ring the bell (not sure which as I was downstairs) and leave a flyer jammed in my door frame. This caused my dogs to go ballistic and wake up my exhausted toddler who d been napping for only 10 minutes. The person who left the flyer is VERY lucky I didn t see them when I opened the door. DO NOT SOLICIT IN NEIGHBORHOODS THAT SAY NO SOLICITING.

We had Turf Masters for over 3 years but our yard always had weeds, they kept making excuses after excuses as to why there are weeds. The first year they said it takes more than a year for their products to perform so we gave a pass. The 2nd year Turf Masters said that there are just some weed every year that are very strong. Every time I called they assigned a service manager who never lasted there beyond a year; I had more account managers than the years for which we had their services. The service manager initially assured to personally monitor my yard but eventually it became my responsibility to monitor it and give them service calls. With so many service calls we obviously did not want to fill our soil with strong chemicals, especially when we spend a lot of time in our yard. It reached a breaking point when they changed our service plan without our consent or agreement. They serviced only the front yard but kept charging us same amount of money. When I called again they said that their system only shows front yard on the plan. They had no answer on who or when it was changed. We always paid for the entire year in advance and feel have been wasting money for the last 3 years; extremely disappointed by their services.

I used Turf Masters Lawncare of Jackson for the past year based on a friends referral. This was the worst decision ever. There is different technician for every treatment no consistency and therefore anyone could have easily put the wrong treatment on my centipede lawn. My lawn looks awful, I have bald spots and can see dirt in some areas. i reported this to the main office and someone came out to look at it. However, Cole the manger took a picture from the road in stead of getting out the truck to see the entire lawn and calling me for a face to face visit so I can point out the areas of concern. I spoke to Manager Cole about it and I told him that they killed my grass and were the company providing weed treatment. He stated that grass is like a living organism and compared it to going to the same doctor and then getting cancer as a comparison to my lawn. However, the lawn on the other had chemicals put on it by Turf Masters Lawncare of Jackson and therefore killed my lawn. Unlike with the human body it is hard to tell how and when people develop cancer. However my lawn was without a doubt treated by an incompetent company with a manager that references illness as comparison to poor workmanship. This is clearly a discriminatory comment for people that have Cancer. First of all that was a very harsh comparison that is hurtful since I have family members that passed from cancer just recently. I spent thousand of dollars on sod and will never use Turf masters Lawncare of Jackson again. I have centipede grass and it is very fragile my lawn looks like someone over fertilized it and burned my lawn. Not a professional or competent business from my experience.

Ive been using Turf Master for almost 6 months. They seemed to do a good job the first 2 treatments, the weeds died. Then the crab grass came back with a vengence. I called my rep and he came by right away. He agreed there was a problem. His manager called and said the would treat the crab grass right away and they did. Now a quarter of my yard is dead again, just like spring. I sent an email to ask about seeding, thats not recommended. The manager (Cole) called again to talk about the issue. I explained, this should not happen if they are doing their job. He told me that was my opinion. I suggested their tech either isnt properly trained or isnt doing his job because the last time he came out he supposedly spot sprayed weeds. Cole doesnt agree, said weeds do come back. I wont be recommending Turf Master and wont use them again once my one year is up. This is terrible service and they obviously dont care about customers.

Our lawn has never looked so good since hiring Turf Masters! Weve used other companies in the past, so it was easy to see the difference in professionalism and results. They are quick to respond to us and have reasonable rates that allow us to have the best lawn we can have!

Great service, very reasonable, and our lawn and plants have shown marked improvement. They communicate before and after treatments and have been very responsive to any questions or schedule requests.

They do not care.. simple as that. Total lip service on everything they do. Service visits have escalated in price over the years yet they spend ~5 minutes for service visits most of the time. Weeds are largely unsuppressed. The final straw was me agreeing to lawn aeration then waiting 2 months for them to come out (which they never did). All questions/comments went unanswered so I cancelled service. Pathetic.

We recently switched to using Turfmasters for our regular lawncare (fertilizing, weed control, treatment of grubs, etc). The technician they sent out, Jay Dunn, was very knowledgeable and made some great recommendations. In less than 2 months, our lawn looks spectacular! And the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend!!

Nick from Turf Masters left me a message today about discoloration he noticed in my yard and he had some questions. I called him back and he was spot on. Told me hed get his team out there in a few days to fix some other concerns hed noticed. Constantly get compliments on our yard and we dont have to do anything but mow. Weve had other lawn treatment services in the past and they were full of excuses and poor results. TM was recommended to me by my neighbor 4 years ago and weve been delighted since then. Honestly - he was driving through our neighborhood on the way to another of their clients, saw my yard, got out, looked, and called me. Who provides service like that anymore? Thank you Nick!

Weve used Turf Masters for several years and they have been diligent about keeping our lawn in excellent condition. More importantly, whenever weve had a concern about the yard they have been incredibly responsive.

Ive been using Turf Masters for two years now, and my lawn has never looked better. I only regret not signing up with then ten years ago. Very professional crew.

We had turf masters for about a year or so. With most of the lawn companies I had employed before I would only do about three treatments a year. And my grass was always thick and nice. Well I let turf masters talk me into doing the full year treatments and it turned out horribly. My grass is so thin now that it looks like half the yard died and the grass line in general has receeded. I contacted turf masters to let them know and they sent someone out who blamed the shade for all of the above problems. Although for the past few years we have always had trees and never issues with grass thining like this.

Had Turf Masters take over lawn care last year... Was beginning to lose control of yard, but within 3 months it was under control, and my yard was green and lush all throughout the summer months, and had not weeds during the winter months. So far this year, it has stayed clearer and has very rich green color.

Have been with Turf Masters for around 15 years, my fescue lawn is consistently one of the best, if not the best, in my neighborhood. Nice deep green color. Also have them do the fungicide treatments in the summer to prevent brown patch. I have them aerate and overseed every September, doing this keeps a thick lush lawn. Could not be more pleased with Turf Masters! Have referred several neighbors over the years. Great service all around!

Would give zero stars if I could. These guys don t know how to put down nitrogen without burning the lawn. Beware.

They didnt do anything for my lawn.

I use their Pest Control Services. Im a relationship person so I really liked my experience with Turf Masters Pest Prevention. The owner Rick, spoke with me personally and gave great advice on a few issues I was having with insects (some of the advice he wasnt getting paid for). My old company wasnt bad, but I didnt even know who the owner of that company was or where they were based. The service at TMPP was great, easy to deal with, and cheaper than my other company.

We have had Turf Masters for just over a year now and are as happy as we can possibly be! The technicians that come (Kip first and now George) actually are as concerned with helping us have a beautiful yard as we are. They always discuss it with us, ask questions, make recommendations. They arent here to dump chemicals on the yard and move on as quickly as possible. Weve had the yard aerated twice now, once last year and once this week and again the guys who came out went out of their way to go over and over the yard until it was done right and thoroughly. Its so nice to see employees who seem to have a vested interest in the success of the company and their clients!

2 years later and my lawn is covered in weeds. No thanks.

Only reason i gave it one star is because there was nothing less to give. Technician came out to spray, rang door bell but I was unable to answer because I was on a conference call. I watched the guy from different windows half ass spray my yard and apply lime treatment in the back. I have a huge yard. How anyone can spray and apply the treatment to both front and back in less than 10 minutes is beyond me. Time to find a new lawncare company. They need to get more trustworthy technicians!

As a loyal customer of 4 years, Ive had the utmost respect for this company. Theyve serviced my lawn care and pest control needs routinely without worry on my behalf. Last week I direly needed a termite bond on my home that I was selling, so of course I contacted Turf Masters. Unfortunately, things didnt work out on repeated attempts throughout several business days, thus I desperately called one more time. The receptionist, hearing my plea and urgency, forwarded me to John Turner, whom diverted his entire schedule to go directly to my property. After several hours, the job was done and he delivered the bond to my home. John, thank you for your responsiveness and thank you Turf masters for being an excellent and resounding company. Youll have my business so long as Im in Georgia.
