We had our leaf covered lawn cleaned up by the team at Lawn South and they did a wonderful job. Our home has several trees that drop leaves in the fall and it had become a challenge for us to manage ourselves. We really appreciated the time and effort that their team took and it's now looking much better. We'll be calling them soon to help lay down some new grass seed!
Easy, friendly contact and appointment setup. Great price. On time completion of work and did some extras by blowing leaves from around the base of the house and decks. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again for any of my landscape needs.
I had this lawn care service since 2010. It started off as a nice decent service but later descended into a very aggravating situation. I called in January 2018 to get pine straw. The straw did not get applied until Feb 2018 and the job was a COMPLETE mess, for example pine straw was not contain within the borders of the flower beds, pine straw on the driveway, etcetera . I contacted the company (also sent photos) & was promised that it would be fixed on 3 different occasions. NOTHING, I have canceled services as of March 2018.
We've been in our house for 17 years this summer and had a plan to make the backyard nice when we moved in. Then we got a dog, now the dog is 16, and we called April she came out and had an original idea, that gave use of our entire area (townhouse backyard) and gave the dog some space. Now our only problem is, we don't want to leave the patio. Thanks April to you and your team. Attached are a before and after couple after pictures.
It started out as a good experience then it quickly went down hill!!! I noticed the lawn service was not very thorough. The price was reasonable but the folks that service the lawn do not do a good job (even for a minimal lawn service (mowing and blowing). The office manager is very, very rude. The owner does not have time for anyone. I cancelled my service after giving this group ample time to remedy the situation. They do not care about their customers (even loyal long time customers are not treated good). I would not recommend them to anyone!
AVOID THIS COMPANY Failed to return calls repeatedly. Never even got a quote, and when I finally did get to speak with a representative they were incredibly rude. Would not recommend. Update; tried again, need service, dude came out, didn't provide a quote and then emailed me saying they don't have the capacity for new business. All the while they're running active ad campaigns.
We have used Lawn South for almost 2 years for lawn maintenance services and spent a substantial amount of money with them. We recently had them do some sod work on our yard at a hefty price (over $6k). We relied on their estimate regarding the amount of sod they would need to purchase to complete the project and were told that they typically purchase about 10% over what they estimate to ensure that they can complete the project. Unfortunately they lied to us and in fact purchased about 30% more sod than they needed to complete the project. When we alerted them near the completion of the project that they had purchased far more sod than necessary, they insisted that we pay in full for all of the extra sod and they initiated a screaming match with us (the customer) about it when we tried to discuss it. I tried to discuss it further with the owner and he was incredibly rude and condescending, refusing to even discuss the fact that his project manager had seriously overestimate and miscalculated or own any responsibility for that error. I have never been treated so poorly by a service provider, especially one that we have patronized for almost 2 years and been a loyal customer to. We would have been happy to find some middle ground compromise, but, unfortunately, their refusal to even discuss the situation with us has prevented us finding an amicable resolution. Please be wary of using Lawn South – they have not proven to be trustworthy.
Beyond impressed. Requested a quote Wednesday, quote was provided on Thursday, crew is out here going to work first thing Friday morning.

LawnSouth is the best yard service we have ever used! They are reliable and pay attention to detail. Any time we have a question or a request, they are quick to respond. We highly recommend them for any lawn service needs.

Please remind your drivers of the true nature of a yield sign. The yield sign is a regulatory sign. At a yield sign, drivers must slow down and yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and vehicles that are approaching from another direction. If a yield line is painted on the pavement, the drivers must yield the right-of-way before crossing the yield line. Daily I see your drivers act as: If I floor it through, I can make it and barely not hit the cars I just cut off. They have personally cut me off countless times. and in those commercial vehicles, that is reckless. Someone is going to get hurt.

I sent them a note to cancel my services effective 3/7/18, yet today (April 2nd), I got a bill from them for services done after 3/7/18. It is so difficult to get a hold of someone in this company.
Lawnsouth went through a real struggle when they lost there two well rounded, very company caring managers. Now they have regained there stability and quality.
Rude! I would not use this place!

I was billed twice for service the first of October. I will not get the money back until the end of October. Donna in the office has been no help. Lots of excuses and cute emails saying I was getting a refund.I have been treated like I am inconvenience them when I have spoken to Donna. 30 days for a refund from being overcharged. UNACCEPTABLE.
Rude drivers! They need to share the road.
I needed to widen my driveway with some pavers and I needed some ideas for controlling erosion in my small backyard. They came out and discussed it with me and then told me their plan. I then bought the pavers for the front, worked with 811 to mark any cables etc, and then they came out and really did an incredible job in both the front and back. No cables were cut in a yard full of cables and the work looks great! They seem very thorough in their work, and Lisa and April were a pleasure to deal with and were responsive. I had a good experience and honestly was pleasantly surprised.

I love this lawn service and have been a Customer for a few years. These folks do everything I ask plus some ! We got Yard of the Month in my neighborhood and it is because of the awesome team from Lawn South.
My yard looks worse after 8 months with Lawnsouth than it did when I was mowing and edging and fertilizing myself. Payed an outrageous fee to aerate 400 feet of grass - and their response was charge me for a months service when I wanted to cancel. STAY AWAY.
