O'Neill Landscape Group in Roswell

As a commercial property manager in North metro I deal with many vendors. O'Neill Landscape is, by far, one of our better vendors. They do the job they are supposed to do, don't cut corners, never have any issues, I never get complaints about them, and they are very fair on pricing. What more could I ask for??

We contacted O’Neill Landscaping to have the top of our pergola redone due to wood rot. Every step of the way, this company did it right! From the estimate (which was very fair), to the work done, it was stressless. They did a beautiful job cleaning up each day and at the end of the job. They also supervised the job during and inspected it after it was completed. I would most certainly use this company again in the future!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this landscaping group! They have landscaped our entire house, plus installed exterior lighting, AND put three boulders in our yard for our goats! Great prices, fantastic service, so so helpful! Amazing team!

Dain, Victor and crew installed a privacy fence, mulch and shrubs. Very professional, well down, fairly priced. Recommend!

O'Neill Landscape Group does not even deserve the 1 star that Google is forcing me to give! I first contacted O'Neill in November of 2021 to set up maintenance for my front and backyards as well as to do a $10k landscaping project. Brett came out, quoted the project and told me because sod was involved that it would need to wait until April to be completed. I told him that I would be reaching back out in March to make the arrangements to start the project. I emailed him on March 6th and finally after a follow-up email and 2 phone calls heard back from him on March 22nd. I agreed to start the maintenance in the front yard only with the understanding that once some brush was cleared from the backyard(part of $10k project) that the backyard maintenance would be included in the same monthly rate I was paying for the front. Brett assured me that they would be able to clear the backyard in a few weeks and I would not be paying for my full property while only getting half of it maintained for very long. Once the maintenance started I was informed that they were now busy with sod installations and couldn't complete the backyard cleanup until November. That would mean that I would be paying a full rate for half the agreed upon service for over 6 months. While I was not happy about this development I decided to stick with them because I liked the quote I'd received for the rest of the project. I spoke with Brett on April 18th after he took a couple weeks to add a couple additional items to my quote and requested some additional information that my HOA was requesting. I was told that he would have it back to me soon, but I did not hear from him again for 2 months. During that time I left him multiple voicemails, sent him multiple emails and called O'Neill's office twice. Both times that I called O'Neill's office I was assured(once by Bethany and once by another employee) that Brett would call me back that day but that did not happen either time. I finally gave up, decided to go with another company and emailed Brett as well as the owner, Andrew, requesting that my maintenance be cancelled. After waiting a week and not receiving a response to that email either, I called and spoke to Bethany who apologized that I've experienced a "disconnect" I spent 3 months being ignored and lied to by multiple employees of this company all the while trying to spend $10k with them in addition to a $2k a year maintenance plan. The fact that they view that as a simple "disconnect" should tell you everything you need to know about what this company thinks of its customers and how little it values customer service. There are hundreds of landscaping companies in this area and my advice would be to go with one that actually wants your business and will make even a slight effort to provide you with quality customer service in order to obtain it. O'Neill fails horribly in both of those regards. **Response to business response below: I was told by Brett in March when I agreed to start the maintenance plan that the backyard cleanup could be done in a few weeks. I was then told a week later that it could not be done until October or November. The statement that several months had passed is completely false. Also, if you need two months to receive pricing from your vendors then you need new vendors. **

Started with them this spring. Had them reset stone and mulch around the house and it was a good experience. Started weekly lawn maintenance and the first month or two was fine and now they may show up once every few weeks. Missed me again this week after numerous calls. I get that everyone is short handed right now but at least communicate the reschedule date. Two weeks ago I got three reschedule dated after having to call them every day for status. The front office is nice but at the end of the day...you pay for a service and I'm not receiving it. I will probably have to mow my lawn again tomorrow after another missed week. Edit: I just had to cancel service since they were going to miss me again this week. Office personnel is great and understanding but only getting two cuts but paying for four is just unacceptable.

Good but expensive landscaping. Very inconsistent in regular yard maintenance. Which is disappointing as I spent $15K in landscaping with them and would expect better ongoing maintenance, which I pay for monthly. I have cameras in my yard and many times their crew simply doesn't show up to meet the contract. For example: last august they went 3 weeks without showing, when contract states weekly. This March, they came once and only mowed the front yard, leaving the back yard without mowing/maintenance. According to their contract they are supposed to visit 3 times in March... Yes, the company was notified in all instances. Quite frankly I shouldn't have to continually bug them to hold up their end of the contract.

Have been using O'Neill Landscape Group for past 3 years now. These guys are great. Very professional. Not just your average mow, blow, and go lawn service. Lots of attention to even small landscape detail. Have especially enjoyed working with Julio and crew. A real pro landscape team.
