We have been using Admiral for lawn mower tune ups and repairs for the last several years, My right front wheel ame off last week and Admiral had it fixed in a couple of days. Our mower looked brand new upon return. Steve, the owner is a class act. 5 stars for a great small business that genually cares about their customers. For any lawn mower issues, I would highly reccomend Admiral.

Lets get directly to the point. This is one of the best business establishments I have ever visited. No fluff, no obfuscation, no hard sell, just great advice, great service, and tremendous repair. Allow me to extrapolate.... I walked in the store with a carburetor from a Toro lawnmower that was leaking gas into the air filter. I You Tubed the problem and was completely aware of the cause of the leak and how to fix it. Rather than go through the process of repairing it I decided to buy a new part because of the relative inexpense of a new one. Upon entering the store and having a discussion, to my surprise, the part was disassembled, repaired, and tested right in front of my eyes. Done...fixed....no charge. The response was, I like to help people. I immediately bought a new air filter and a quart of oil for an oil change and tipped 20% on top of that. Went home and reassembled the lawn mower, changed the oil, and started it up. Ran it for five minutes to test the repaired carb and it no longer leaked. Problem solved. Friendly, efficient, professional, and knowledgeable service. What more could anyone ask for? I completely, and without reservation, recommend this establishment for your service and sales needs.

Never used them...because I never got the opportunity to. You call at all points during the day and no one picks up. There is no way to leave a voicemail. There is an email option on their site. It took a couple weeks to get a response and when I responded to it with a follow up question, no one ever responded. Not a good way to run a business.

Professional Service at a very affordable price

Im in total agreement with another reviewer, this place is a joke! Also, I cant believe customers give it 5 star reviews. I brought a Toro lawn mower in for service and 2 weeks later, nothing was accomplished. During those two weeks, trying to get updates was impossible because no one picks up the phone and there is no mechanism to leave a voice mail. When I did get someone, they had to call me back because they didnt know the status of my mower. Suffice to say they never called back! It was rare but, when they did pick the phone up, I was told they would be working on my mower in a couple of days, tomorrow and that very day. I dont think I have experienced a more disorganized business in many, many years. I would highly recommend going anywhere but Admiral to have your outdoor power equipment serviced!

Bought my snowblower here and I have had good service for it. Unlike the home Depot where what you buy can not be serviced there.

I called and spoke to a gentleman by the name of Keith, I told him i was looking to have my backpack blower and trimmer repaired and explained what the problem was. He explained to me that the symptoms i described were related to the carburetor & will more than likely need to be replaced. He suggested ways to help prevent issues in the future. When I asked about pricing and turnaround time, I appreciated the honesty. He explained that during this time of the year, Lawnmowers are a priority so trimmers and blowers take longer. The prices were reasonable. I decided to try and fix myself since i know how to replace a carburetor, However, If i run into trouble, I will definitely bring it to Admiral Lawnmower to fix my blower and trimmer.

Admiral is a well known and established business in Roselle. Admiral is a fixture in the Village of Roselle. The owner Steve is very knowledgeable about any type of gas powered equipment. Very helpful staff - you can really tell that the owner has a passion for what he does. Good selection, though the place is a bit messy so youre better off telling the staff what you need rather than looking around. Prices seem comparable to their competitors in the area, and they wont shy from referring you to one of those competitors if you need something they dont have.

i need new carbrator for my snowblower

I dropped my John Deere walk behind mower off to have the traction fixed and general maintenance. I was told it could take 1 - 3 weeks. OK, Ill have to borrow my neighbors mower. This was May 31st. I was called on June 5th and they said I needed to order a cable that they did not stock from John Deere. Why me? I was told it was hard for them to get those parts, but the maintenance was done, so as soon as they get the cable they will complete the work. I ordered the cable ($22.94 with shipping), it arrived on June 18th. I dropped off the cable and invoice to the store on June 20th (21 days into this so far). Now it is July 10th. I called to get the status and they say they are just finishing up and I can pick it up today. Finally. I pick it up and they say, No charge. What? They apologize; they had me order the wrong cable so theyre not charging me for the maintenance. Well, can I have the cable back? We dont know where it is. Well call you when we find it. Are you kidding me? So I get home and look at it, same filter, same plug and I assume same oil. They didnt charge me because they had my mower for 41 days (2 days short of 6 weeks) and did NOTHING to it AND lost my $22.94 cable. I WAS planning on dropping off my snow blower after this for maintenance. Never again will I do business with them. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Ridiculous business practice. Stay away! ZERO STARS, but I had to select at least one to post.
