Impressive, healthy plants and a great variety. The lady we spoke with was very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back.
While out running errands on a Saturday last month I was rudely cut off by a landscape truck bearing this companies information with a green trailer. The driver (a slender looking man in his mid to late 50’s) was all over the road endangering other drivers. As we came to a stop light I pulled up next to the truck and honked to get the drivers attention. He proceeded to curse at me, flip me off and take off through the light that had yet to turn green. This company needs to rein in their careless drivers before someone gets hurt.
Professional Landscaping undertook this small project in March 2021. They built a low retaining wall around a porch to give a floral border and to comply to code. They understood what I wanted, were able to be creative in how to achieve it and were extremely helpful throughout the whole project. They gave additional advice on some pruning and what to plant in this shady area. There was a wait time, but they arrived when promised and worked hard and with skill to complete the work on time. The pictures here start a year ago with no wall and very overgrown, then the wall just built, then the full effect with the Pieris we planted in the raised bed and the Rhodies in bloom again. Mike is very knowledgeable and Kirsten very efficient, these are great people to work with.
My extended family is so happy to have found Professional Landscape and Irrigation to help take care of our Dad's yard. Michael and Kirsten have been totally professional throughout the initial quote/bid process, and Michael and the crew did a fantastic job yesterday on their first visit to the house. I was so happy to see the lawn looking nice when I arrived today from out of town. Would definitely recommend!
I don't know who Brad is from the previous reviews but the person I worked with was Mike. We discussed what was to be done in Feb and I was told it would be April before the work could start. This was ok. However, I got up one morning around the first of March and he was here working. No phone call to let me know he was coming. The Contract said he would kill the grass before laying the fabric and mulch. He did not. When the grass started growing through I called and he said he would come out and spray. Again, I did not know when he came. This became an issue throughout the project. We discussed planting a tree and when I mentioned it a couple of weeks later he told me he forgot. I again brought it up via email and his wife told me to be patient, that he was booked 2 months ahead. I was surprised when I got up this morning that the tree was planted. I had no idea he was coming. Again. The tree is not where I wanted it so will have to pay someone else to move it. I think Mike was unprofessional and disrespectful. The work he did was nice but that does not excuse his actions.
We hired PL to landscape our backyard. It was a HUGE mess. From the very beginning, the office staff were so friendly and helpful, and Brad was wonderful to deal with. He listened to exactly what we wanted and drew up his plans accordingly. We made a couple of changes to the plants he originally chose, and he made the process very easy. I don't think our yard is small, and his crew was in and out in four days. They were professional and very courteous. They showed up at relatively the same time each day, and worked hard until the afternoon. The finished product is nothing short of AMAZING. It's almost unreal. We are very happy with it. I would definitely recommend them for any landscaping project. It's always good to know that there are some people who still know how proper business should be conducted.
In my profession I have hired and watched landscapers for forty five years. After hiring Professional Landscape and Irrigation for our two credit union facilities in Roseburg and one in Sutherlin I opted to have Brad perform a major project on my own home. The massive extension of the existing irrigation system (five new circuits and hundreds of feet of new lines, wiring, sprinkler heads) and planting of dozens of new and replacement trees was accomplished in four working days! The crew came in on time each day, were organized, worked well together, kept their field of work clean and organized, communicated well with each other, knew the scope and layout of the project and wasted no time at all. At the end of the project each trench line (plus several left over by Douglas Fast net and Umpqua Basin water) were filled in, packed and over seeded. Each new head was properly aligned and tested as well as all of the previously existing heads! I challenge you to find better workmanship for a better price! We have been a customer of Professional Landscape for 9 years. They designed, installed and maintained our front yard and back yard. Everything - lawn, plants, sprinkler systems. At this point I honestly don't know how to operate the sprinkler systems - I never needed to know. They reprogram it depending on the season and it never failed. The landscape is gorgeous! (And completely deer resistant) I don't think I know what weeds look like these days either. I have none. They care about what they do and make suggestions when they feel a change needs to be made. Always timely (one of the most important qualities for me), always professional and friendly! It's been a pleasure working with Brad (the owner) and Mike (the lead of the crew that comes to our house). Recommend them to everybody who asks me about our landscape (in spring and summer, people actually stop to look at the lavenders). Very Happy Customer
Very hard to get a hold of and doesnt return calls or emails.
The owner is honest and does a remarkable job!!
10/10 would recommend
