Do yourself a favor and avoid MJ and Son because they'll leave you hanging if they can't overcharge you. Weekly services is $30 per week (higher than the standard of $20). When my first bill arrived it was $300 ($150 for the weekly maintenance and an additional $152 for a soil sample and fertilizer, and grass clipping removal). The invoice was paid, however, MJ & Son never returned. No call no show bo communication. I assume it's because I wouldn't allow them to overcharge charge me for services I didn't receive or request.

My family has been using Mj and Sons service for the past year, and I must commend them on doing a great job, I would recommend everyone to do business with them, because they're reliable always on time and value their customer. Keep it moving cliff

After their first season, I wouldn’t recommend. First couple months, they were decent. Weekly and on the same day. After July, there were 2-3 weeks spans on which they wouldn’t show and wouldn’t communicate when they could come. My grass looked horrid and they did nothing to make it better. They blamed it on the sprinkler system Late September, after a three week stretch of no mowing they cut the grass. Two days later, they arrive unexpected, to seed the lawn. Three weeks later, the lawn hasn’t been mowed. I contacted them with no response. Ok when you speak to them but as a customer I had to constantly contact them for when they would come. They always had a reason. Too inconsistent, unreliable and believe not their opinion matters. Arrogant. All in all their “service” made my house look shabby this summer.

Transformed an area in my backyard from trashy to beautiful! Work is so pristine- did everything the exact way I wanted and so courteous and professional! also beat 3 other quotes that i got! highly recommend!!**
