Didn t show up until June for our first application so we had problems with crabgrass I called in May they didn t seam concerned this was our second year with them and not sure if we will renew

SavATree s arborist, Andy came out to give me a quote which I thought was very fair. I had previously received another quote from a different company last year and I couldn t believe the price. Our trees don t need a crane or bucket to prune them and this guy s quote was shocking. We had 5 trees pruned: 1 Japanese Maple, 2 Dogwoods, 1 Blue Spruce + an Arborvitae tree. The 2 men who came to do the work did such a nice job! They took down the height, shaped the trees, and cut them away from our house and our neighbor s garage. They were super friendly, cleaned all debris up and the price was right! Thank you & until next time!

I asked to be home and they rescheduled with out my consent. This did not trim the tree enough away from house or other dead branches. And this was started the end of June 24. And was done the end of Sept. will not use them again. This is a management problem. Happened last time never again/meb

We ve had Andy Knight as our arborist for a number of years. He s provided us with so much knowledge and good advice. Our two acres of landscaped property is gorgeous. He s been a lifesaver for many problems over many years. Just recently we added mosquito control and were overwhelmingly impressed. We ve used Mosquito Squad for a solid year, we were totally disappointed with their whole program. We thought because mosquitoes were their specialty they d be better - not so. World of difference with SavaTree and the staff that s been at their Rochester NH branch (which services the Seacoast region of NH). We ve always been so happy with Andy s good advice for our tree, shrub and lawn and were just overwhelmingly surprised with how impressed we were with mosquito control. Ill divide the service SavATree/Urban Tree provided into 2. They did a great job dropping the trees. They were very careful about not damaging the lawn. Now the problem. They were hired to take trees down AND haul them away. The logs they dropped are still on my lawn. 9 weeks later. So much for the lawn. Repeated calls and trading emails. Ive gotten nothing but excuses and false promises YMMV, but Id give pause on using this outfit and consider going elsewhere.

Had a tree half way come down and damage my fence and part of my neighbors deck. They were very quick to respond, were very polite and clear in their explanations. My neighbor was in awe when watching them take down the remaining part of the tree. It was just as amazing the little time it took them to bring it down. When I had questions, everyone I spoke with were very helpful and comforting to speak with. It ended up not costing as much as I expected. Very professional, seems very experienced and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend!

We had a huge white pine, with a diseased base. We held our breath every time a storm rolled in. Ed Hopkins agreed the tree was dangerous and had to go. The price was fair, the work was timely, and the crew was the best. They found a Great horned owls nest with a chick. My wife and i were not able to be out there, But carefully the nest was removed and with the help of my daughters placed in care at (On The Wing) in Epping N.H. Where the chick can be seen online . SavATree was the first to get back to me, the quote was transparent and reasonable, and they were hands down the most responsive. Absolutely would recommend, and use this team again!

Ed and his crew are the best fairest-priced company in the entire seacoast. I got multiple quotes from other companies that were 3 times the price Urban tree charged. It was ridiculous 6 medium sized trees for 11 thousand dollars was a quote with another company. Highway robbery. Urban trees attention to detail is the best of the best they picked up every little stick before they left. Even swept the driveway. Called me the morning of the job said exactly when they would show up. Highly recommend this company cant say so enough. Do your homework and get the quotes for yourself, you will see how insane some of the other guys quote you, laughable. These guys have my business for life.

I called for a quote, they seemed nice enough, the guy said he would write up the estimate and email me. Called the office 3 hours later, she said that the guys come in and do the paperwork... So here i am waiting. I had two other people give me estimates on the spot. Waited a week , decided perhaps they were too busy. Update. They sent me a quote today, best price of all. Unfortunately i.went with another company... But the time was becoming an issue. But they seemed nice.

A crew of two worked an entire day to thin out some trees and to climb a big Ash tree to do some trimming and pruning. They cleaned up everything, raking the lawn area of leaves and twigs. Totally professional in every way. This is my third time in 14 years of having Urban do tree work. No one better. Price is fair and quality of work is outstanding.

Work was performed as quoted and the crew left the yard in excellent shape. Extra long lunches and extended breaks keep this from a 5 star review. Be very specific with your representative about the amount of hours of actual work your quote or bill covers including length of lunches and length and amount of breaks and clarify what happens if long breaks and lunches happen.

The team of tree experts who came to our house today cut down a mammoth, beastly ash...full of trouble... away from our backyard. The area they worked in was crowded but the ash tree fell exactly where the pros at Urban Tree planned it to go...all in a rainstorm. These professionals are GREAT...without question.

Not sure who would not give these guys 5 stars. My parents had a tall pine hit their house on May 10 2020 and the Fire Chief of Rollinsford called the owner Ed to the scene to check out the tree and damage to my parents house. Ed was extremely sympathetic to my Parents situation arranged for his crew to change plans and had them remove the tree from my parents roof and the rest of the tree that was still standing the very next morning. All of you guys that work there were incredible and professional. THANK YOU FOR A JOB EXTREMELY WELL DONE. If you need tree work done either in a emergency situation or just in general, hire these guys. They are top notch for sure. Thank you all again.

Ive used UTS in the past and the work was fine. But now that Ive personally seen their staff repeatedly flout safety standards and refuse to be masked around others (not just co-workers, but strangers), Ill be taking my business elsewhere.

They took out 5 large pines, and a few oaks right next to my house, then ground the stumps. Their work was excellent, and the price was fair for the work. 0 complaints.

Had them come and trim out a 100+ year old maple tree in my front yard. We love the tree but were concerned it wasnt healthy and was going to break on the house. They came in, assessed its health and removed any dead wood as well as trimming out other branches to help the tree thrive. It still looks great and we dont have branches breaking anymore.

Had a large dead oak. They gave a quote. Was satisfied with it and signed agreement to cut. They came, cut it down in chunks with bucket truck. Chipped and took all the brush and cleaned up afterwards.

Urban Tree now has two generations of employees who do their best work. Very professional with customer care as well as tree care at the heart of what they do everyday!

We had them come out for aeration and overseeding and our yard looks great! Also had them grind a stump and put loam down. Excellent customer service, we worked with Andy!

When I see the Urban Tree trucks arrive they are meticulously clean and cared for. I know my property will be treated with the same care and attention, actually more! Ed Hopkins is knowledgeable and a fanatic about his work and it shows. I grew up with the Asplunds of the Asplundh Tree Co and worked for them in the summers. I have a pretty good idea about what it takes to be safe, do a respectable job and make it look like you weren t there. Urban Tree is professional, clean, knowledgeable and fair. I recommend them with no hesitation!

I have been a long term, and I think good customer of this firm, using them for regular lawn care, preventative care for trees and shrubs, as well as tree removal. It would appear that they have perhaps grown beyond their limits. This summer I called and E-mailed a total of five times to ask Ed Roy to come by to look at a situation with a tree. I got a number of excuses and apologies, each a little thinner than the previous one. I finally got an E-mail containing a general statement about usual conditions, so I dont know if he ever did come by to assess the problem. Too big? Too busy? Does it make a difference?

I have appreciated the skilled review of the health and care of our trees and shrubs and the careful work done when necessary corrections were needed. Urban Tree Service is my first thought when issues arise.

Watch out for this company. Ask for their quotes in writing before you sign on with them or your bill will be at least 30% higher than what was promised. Also, be certain that you secure the day and time and get this in writing. Or they will show up at your home without notice and take down a tree you didnt want taken down and not finish the work that they promised.

Have removed 13 trees and at a later date trimmed a tree near our roof. Professional and reasonable.

Recently cut down three large Oak trees overhanging my home. Very professional and efficient. More trees have fallen during the wind storm, and Urban gave me a fair estimate and will be doing the work in January.

They worked on a beautiful old oak down the street from my house and completely lion tailed it. Now not old does it look horrible but this once healthy atchent tree is going to die because of it. Not impressed at all!
