Rochester Lawn Care in Rochester

These folks are great to work with. My lawn has never been so good. The tech's and office staff are personable, courteous and reactive to calls.

I would recommend Rochester Lawn Care to anyone who would like to see their yard look like a well-maintained park or private golf course! Although I am currently unable to do my own yardwork, it was easy to hire RLC, because my neighbors use them every year, and their yards looks amazing. From what I see, their attention to detail sets them apart from other lawn services in the neighborhood.

They have been working mowing lawns for us for about 2 or 3 years. Last week they hit my kid's playground and I was amazed at how they were professionals and honest in trying to fix it and keeping great communication with us. Highly recommend them!

Rochester Lawn Care is the best! One of the employees broke the gate to our fence during an application. We weren't home but Emma contacted us to let us know what happened and to let us know it will be fixed by them. A day later a very apologetic man from RLC came by to see the damage (I can't remember his name) and let us know it would be fixed within the next couple of days and IT WAS!!! The gate is as good as new and RLC is good for their word! Our yard/lawn has always looked good but this was above and beyond the professional way it was handled. We can't say enough good things about Rochester Lawn Care!

Contracted for snow plowing for 2 years and they failed to show up multiple times after major snow falls! Very hard to reach management by phone to find out what was happening. Then, nothing but bad excuses from management when I finally did reach them. "We accidentally plowed the wrong street!" "Truck broke down on way to your neighborhood", "We will be there soon! (and 6 hours later, nobody has come). Awful service! Highly recommend avoiding this outfit at all costs!

My experience is that this company lacks resources to meet their obligations and provides minimal communication in doing so! The only time during the entire '16-'17 plow season that they needed to perform they did not. They also turned off the voicemail to the mobile phone of the manager, so I was unable to contact the company to ask for assistance in using my driveway. During a 48 hr. show fall they plowed twice. My driveway at the time of this review has had 8" of snow in it for over 8 hrs. Wish I had read the reviews before committing to this company.

Follow up to my last review. It has been several weeks now and still no correspondence from owner or manager about my concerns. We had to hire a new company to take care of our driveway. As of today my driveway was plowed by new company, but my neighbors was not, he chose to stay with Rochester Lawn Care.

I am disappointed in the level of customer care Rochester Lawn Care provides. The 4 times I have needed the driveway plowed this year we have had to have it snowblown two of those times. My first issues came on Christmas Day with a house full of guests arriving. I called with my concerns and left a message. I didn't expect an answer since it was Christmas, but I did expect some follow up within a week. It has been over a week and still no response. My neighbor who I assured Rochester Lawn Care would take care of us has also sent his complaints via email and he has heard nothing back. My second issue was today 01/2/14. There was 12 inches of snow in our driveway when my wife arrived home from a long commute tonight at 6pm. While our driveway was plowed for her departure this morning at 5 am there was no plowing throughout the day to stay ahead of the accumulation forcing my father in law to snowblow the driveway this evening since I am out of town. As you can imagine he is a great guy, but this is gonna cost me if you know what I mean. Good luck to others, but I would recommend going elsewhere.
