Stop calling me Nex Green. Your service is great but your marketing is obnoxious. Enough

We were pleased with the initial service, and found the spray effective at minimizing the presence of spiders. However, we didnt realize, when we signed our bill after the first visit, that we were committing to auto-renewal, which was certainly never verbally communicated to us during that visit. I thought I was simply signing to process my credit card. I was surprised last year to receive a bill for a service we didnt even know had been completed because they never set up a time or communicated with us when it would be done or that it was being done at all. Luckily, we could afford it at the time. I just received an email last night that their technicians will be in your neighborhood next week and we should call if we would like a 5% pre-pay discount, but the email does not specifically or explicitly state they will be completing a service at that time. I replied to the email that I would like to cancel all future services, which are no longer in our budget, and will save this as proof that I requested cancelation prior to any further services. I tried to call several times today, to verbally request cancelation as well, and an automated message said they were assisting other customers and to leave a message, but the inbox was full, apparently, and the call was simply disconnected each time. The service IS more effective than purchasing commercial spider spray and spraying ourselves, but the auto-renew agreement could really put some folks in a bad financial spot. This renewal agreement should absolutely be VERBALLY communicated, prior to signing the first bill. Effective service, absolutely, just be aware your are committing to a yearly service.

I have used them for years and always recommend them whenever I can. They are a great company, always responsive and friendly and most importantly they keep these spiders away!!

This company is awful to deal with they will invoice you for services they do not do literally the day the invoice shows up in the mail they will call looking for payment. I deal with lots of vendors in my company and this company is by far the worst to deal with. No communication between billing and people calling on the phone looking for payment. They were great for the first year after that has gone down hill for the past 2 years.

Very unprofessional. Would never hire them ! Drove 10 from by bumper down Grand Blanc road for 3 miles during a snow storm and then drove past and cut me off on Dort Hwy exit...sad. Definitely Joe S... cant miss his truck! (confirmed from FB video).

I live on a canal and have problems with spiders in the summer. My property is treated once a season by Nexgreen Spider Control and is supposed to last 3 months. When I started seeing spiders after a month, I called Nexgreen and they promptly came back out to respray the areas I noted of concern. They did this at no cost to me. Very professional and polite. I will continue to use this company every year.

First of all 2 times they missed weed control on my lawn. Both the times they sent an email that they did service and on top of it email says the rep talked to me. First time I told them about the incident and they did after a week performed service. But second time I did not bother to call them. Pretty unprofessional Regarding quality of work: my lawn with weeds same as before I started using them. Paid for no reason. No improvement. The guy I talked to is Brar but he seems does not care for customer satisfaction

Eco Friendly Pest Control Rochester Hills LLC has been our pest service for 3 years. They have done an tremendous job to save our home from pest. They detect things that I did not see and just take care of it. They are very knowledgeable , skillful and always on time. I would like to recommend this company to all of you.

I have been using this company for about 6 months now. What I really like about this company is how they communicate with you by coming to your door saying they are there to spray for the day and you can fill them in on what to focus on, the communication is top notch. My grass is already starting to look different, its much greener than it was last year and its becoming thicker. I knew this would come with a price tag, but I am one of those people that really wants a nice looking lawn and I trust these guys on taking on that task. One last thing to note is they use organic bio-nutrient fertilizer which is also a nice touch.

Great customer service. Fast and friendly employees. Highly recommended. They just went and did my parents house as well and she was very happy with her service as well. I only received the spider spray and have noticed the difference quickly. I just called again to get mosquito and tick sprayed in my yard as well. I will update after I have had those applied.

BUYER BEWARE. We used NexGreen for appx two season after they purchased the company we originally used The Spider Guy. The past two years we used NexGreen I always called to ask for service in the spring and never once was I told that I dont need to call to request service since they will continue service every year w/o a signed contract unless I cancel the plan. This year we did not request service and we decided to switch to another provider (where the new provider did have us sign a contract for continual service). NexGreen came out in May and sprayed our house w/o my request. I spoke with the manager and he said On your invoice last year it tells you we will continue service from season to season, so we need you to pay our invoice but they would discount it 50% since we didnt request the service. I have no problem paying for the service if I signed a contract for continuous service or called for service but I did neither. If you use this company just be cautious of this. Let me correct this - I had multiple communications with your office Manager Matt and Sue after finally receiving and invoice for service. I let them know no mail was ever received. Unfortunately some of that could have been a result of the pandemic. I even let Sue know the email communication they tied to send was directed to my spam and found at a later date. Nothing is misleading with my experiences. I tired to work this out prior to leaving this review with no luck.

We have been very pleased with Nexgreen and the spider control services they offer. The staff from customer service on the phone to the technician that comes out are always very professional. They take time to answer questions and make sure that you are happy. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for spider control!!

The gentleman did not call first, was very rude when telling us to go in the house and for me to my car. When asked if it would work even with the storm coming, no response. Stormed 20 min later for a few days. No response on phone number.

The company is professional and communicates with you about services performed and recommendations. Currently they provide weed control for lawn and fertilization for shrubs and trees. There has been a noticeable improvement in our landscape.

Ive used Nexgreen for several years. I have referred family, friends and neighbors. My lawn has been beautiful and looked like a golf course with their service. I have had an issue this year and they responded right away and are rectifying the situation.

Contracted for lawn fertilization, core aeration and overseeding, and lawn liquid aeration. Company is very responsive to all concerns. There is always a person to speak with in the office, and there is great follow-up by the manager, Matt, and the lawn specialist/technician, Joe. Everyone I have dealt with at NexGreen, from the office staff to the technicians in the field, has been courteous, professional and available.

We thought our lawn was gone!.....an infestation of some sort of bug or something that killed the whole lawn in the matter of a couple months last year...literally to the roots in some spots...completely brown.....we tried everything to fix it and thought we were going to have to have it torn out and replaced....but we decided to wait until the Spring and see what happened. We had a field of weeds and we were ready to call to have a new lawn placed and as a last ditch effort, we decided to call NexGreen after reviewing their website and reading their reviews. NexGreen came out and took a look and said we can try to fix it...but it will take a couple of seasons. We took a chance and we are very happy. My husband and I are completely overwhelmed by how well the grass looks now! You would have never known how bad it looked last year! We are forever thankful for their great service and helping to repair our lawn...we WILL be repeat customers!

I love how NexGreen informs you when they will be coming to your home, what applications they are performing and emailing after they finish. They let you know exactly what they did at the visit. Dont use this company. You cant cancel. Theyll show up anyway and charge you for the service. Then theyll pretend you never cancelled and blame you for them showing up. Its obnoxious. Ah, yes. Youve reached out to me several times. You mailed me a bill for services I tried to cancel. You emailed me a bill for services I tried to cancel. And you called me to get me to pay for services I tried to cancel.

I was very pleased with Dan, technician, from NexGreen. This was the first time he was at my home and came up to the door, introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. I am very confident in this company and highly recommend them. Nov 29, 2021 update.... I have also interacted with Emily and Bar - these two are very polite, well mannered, and tend to my requests. It is such a pleasure to work with people who are kind and go out of their way to help. I also commend the employee (dont know his name) who helped in providing me with a plan to bring my grass back from a prior fertilization company who literally ruined my yard. Great job!

I just spoke with Matt Landis. Honestly, I wish there were more people in the world that provide service like he does. Im in Taylor, MI so were a little out of NexGreens service range for now. Matt said they will be expanding. However, he still wanted to know what we were looking to have done. He gave me tips on what our lawn needs (very detailed and educational). He also asked who else I had reached out to and even researched a few lawn servicers in our area. He gave me tips on what I should be looking for in a lawn care provider as well as what a fair deal should look like. The moment he expands into our area I will be utilizing NexGreen and will be a lifetime customer. I can not speak highly enough. I was blown away by the extent that he went to help us out. He even went as far as to say when im continuing my search for a servicer to reach back out to him with any questions. Absolutely top notch!

We have been using the NexGreen service for several years. Our lawn always responds very well to the treatments and timing which is great. The more important point, however, is the consistency of the service people that tend to our lawn. Joe has been our tech for most services. He knows me by name. He acts professionally and treats you with respect, and he does a quality job efficiently. I sense the owner of NexGreen treats his employees well. NexGreen does a great job with the lawn, has friendly techs who spray the lawn and a very nice office Office manager. They always send an email telling me what service was performed and any suggestions they have for the lawn.

I have had NexGreen service my property with fertilizer and weed control for the last two years. The managers and employees are top notch, professional, dependable and reliable. I highly recommend them for all your yard and garden needs.

Once you are a customer they don t care to communicate with you. Trying to get ahold of them I would leave multiple messages during normal business hours, multiple emails, and never a call or email back for almost a month. Had to go with someone else, and even when I called to cancel I got a voicemail and never a call back. I get these are tough busy times but I think I waited plenty of weeks for a single response back

Very impressed with this company! I contacted (in March )their sales Manager Matt Landis who was truthful, professional, personable and a good 1st impression! We signed up. Once Covid released their company to operate, Nexgreen staff performed just as Matt said it would. We recieved our 3rd treatment yesterday (June) and I have never been so impressed with our lawn! (Have had 2 other companies over the past 10 years; key word had...). Nexgreen emails when they are coming and come when they say. I am so impressed that they send the same tech for every application; Jacob who does a fantastic job!! I have watched him 3 times. He is very thorough, not just going through the motions, but watches what hes doing! He protects everything on our property. He noticed a particularly weedy area and gave it a little extra, not knowing I was watching. He obviously cares and takes pride in his work! When I went outside to say Hi, he was knowledgeable, polite, professional and very grateful when I offered ice water ! I do not write reviews, as a rule, unless I am beyond impressed with a company! I am beyond impressed with Nexgreen and highly recommend them . Thank you Matt for being genuine and true. Our neighbors were complaining daily about our dandelions. I mean we might have had more dandelions than grass. After just one application we could. Not believe the difference it made. 6 stars if I could!

I would like to know WHEN you are coming out to treat my lawn instead of just showing-up, so I can make sure the sprinklers are off that day. Service seems good, but better scheduling would be appreciated.

NexGreen has been our favorite for many years. Our grass is 44 years old and looks like we just installed new grass. They are wonderful, treat you like family, not just like an ordinary customer. i would highly recommend using them for everything that they offer.

I am very happy with my lawn service from NexGreen. My grass was patchy with lots of weeds and crabgrass. After 1 season my lawn was transformed! I am now on my third season. After each service, NexGreen will send an email to let me know exactly what was applied to my lawn and they provide helpful tips for me to help them keep my lawn looking good.

I am giving Jeremiah a five star review today! I ve been a customer for 3 years now, and it was Jeremiah s first time at my property. He had NO PROBLEM reaching my weeds to be sprayed with his hose sprayer and did a few the hose couldn t reach with his backpack sprayer. I was impressed with his knowledge about what can & can t be killed at this time of year. Had no problem seeing him, he came onto the deck to make sure I DID know he was here just like I requested. NexGreen contacted me within an hour of my initial email. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, and they were able to start lawn care within the week of my consultation. I was given a very through explanation of all of the lawn care options and how each option worked. I was not pushed to choose the most expensive package, they work with the budget you give them. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking out lawn care.

I had tried several other lawn care services in the past, but was never completely satisfied with the results, even after years of fertilizing, weed control, etc. I was about to give up when I met the folks from NexGreen at a home show and liked what they had to say about their service. So I thought Id give them a try. Within the first season I was seeing wonderful results! My lawn is so much thicker and greener and virtually weed free. I have been using NexGreen for several years now and have a lawn that can stand up to the hot, dry summer conditions much better. It doesnt get as stressed and I find I am watering much less. Just started using this company this year due to my previous company going out of business. My grass looks beautiful! Moreso than it did with my previous company. Very professional. Every time they come over they come up to the door first, and if your home, they let you know what they are doing and if you have any questions. They do offer other services. They explain why they are beneficial, but never pressure you into them. Definitely would recommend this business!

I have nothing but positive feedback for this company. The do|say ratio is 100%! My service tech Wesley came to our house on the day & time as stated and applied our application however, I did not have time to pick up my stray twigs and leaves. Wesley not only picked up all of the twigs, he also left them in a nice, neat pile on my front porch ready to tie! The manager Joe has kept in great contact with me, keeping me in the loop from the aeration to the next application, just as he promised. My lawn is green thick and lush as guaranteed and I feel great knowing Im using a company that puts the environment & customers first. They certainly have my business for years to come! Did I mention how green my lawn is????

We switched to NexGreen from Lush Lawn last year. We are very happy with the service we have received and they got rid of the violets that were running through our grass which I was not sure they would be able to do and we have not had one dandelion or other weed appear in our yard (this was not the case with Lush Lawn the past 3 seasons of using them) since they have been doing our yard. The technicians I have spoken to, if I have been home, have been VERY friendly and professional.

Ive always used a another large lawn service like Nexgreen but was not overly impressed. I just thought that s how my lawn was. Bhargav P. told me my lawn could be a lot healthier and better looking if I switched to Nexgreen. He was very knowledgeable about what my lawn needed and seemed genuine about my lawns care. I was a little skeptical but the results are amazing. I have never not had some weeds and spots until now. My grass is greener then ever. I would highly recommend their services. They also let me know when they are going to service my lawn before hand so I can make sure my yard is picked up. If I do have a few dog toys laying around they move them instead of covering them in fertilizer. Pricing was also very competitive compared to the other dozen or so quotes I was given by other contractors.

UPDATE*** The owner called me to rectify this situation and was amazing, what a difference. He was kind, listened to what my issue was and answered me with honesty and integrity that I believed. I will continue to be a customer and refer people as long as they can continue to get good treatment like he shows he wants for his company. I was a SUPER happy customer that recommended this company all of the time UNTIL I had to talk to Aman the office manager who is RUDE and has absolutely NO customer service. When I signed up with this company I stressed all of the issues I had with my previous company, the number one being auto-renewed without approval. I was assured that this would never happen and that everything would be discussed before moving forward. Fast forward to year two... We have done some construction built a new HUGE garage, moved our driveway etc. everything is not finished yet, and with all of the rain we have been getting almost everything is pure mud. With that being said we had decided not to call NexGreen this year and wait until we actually had a nice yard and were done with all of the construction. Well guess what?!?!? we didnt get that option because you guessed it they AUTO renewed us WITHOUT approval. I did the right thing and called, but right away I was told that I the customer was WRONG and that they sent me multiple (3) letters LAST year letting me know that they were going to auto-renew my policy and that it was my fault for not reading the letters. WHY would I read your JUNK mail when I already pre-paid for your service for the ENTIRE YEAR? HOW was I supposed to know that you were going to sneak attack a renewal? I thought you were a better company than that? If I would have called and had a decent person to talk to that cared about this company this could have been resolved and I would still be a customer that raved about this business!

Joe was out again today for another application. Lawn is steadily improving. Joe works his magic every time he visits. Thanks again NexGreen.

NexGreen Lawn and Tree Care is an amazing company that has helped us refresh our lawn to a more pleasing lusher looking lawn. Taught us how to care for our lawn and what to do in certain circumstances. I have asked the technicians a variety of questions and they always have the answers. We love that they are a naturual green company. Have had a few different technicians and they are always professional, knowledgeabe and friendly people. I highly recommend this company to anyone seeking a beautiful looking lawn and landscape.

I have been impressed with all employees at NexGreen. I believe they do their best to treat our lawn and trees. I also like that instead of leaving a note attached to your front door, they send an email describing what was done, and any recommendations they may have. Todays service man even carried the 8 empty trash cans from the street to our garage! Thats service!

Within just a few treatments, our lawn looks a million times better. Our grass still looks very healthy, but the weeds are at a minimum. I am excited to see how beautiful our grass will look by the end of the season. Will definitely continue to use NexGreen over the years.

NexGreen personal were courteous, professional and informative throughout the ordering process. The price for seasonal service was more than reasonable. A real positive experience! My lawn is looking beautiful. This is the first year that I ve had it professionally fertalized and it has made all the differnece. Before treatment, my lawn was covered in dandelions and weeds. Within only a few treatments, my lawn is green, healthy, and weed free.

Everyone at NexGreen Ive talked to and seen on our property has been very professional and friendly. We have never had a lawn service before and we were concerned about the heavy chemical use. When neighbors have other companies apply I cant even go outside for awhile. Not so with NexGreen. I was surprised and pleased by this. And yet the lawn perked up after the first application. So I feel free to give them I five star. All good and reasonably priced too.

I am very impressed with the results Nexgreen has given my lawn. I am beyond impressed with the customer service and the thorough reports I receive after each monthly visit, not to mention they are always reminding me to call them if I ever see weeds in between treatments (not that I ve ever had to take them up on their offer). They do not try to up-sale any services, nor do they pester you with bombarding phone calls like other companies do. I highly recommend Nexgreen.

NexGreen is a heat. If I have a problem they are there. Today I had notice my tree is sick. No problem Eric took a couple of leaves to the tree Dr.there,also my freshly planted dogwood wash,t looking to good. Eric answered all my concerns and so very knowledgeable . Could not be more pleased with the services provided by NexGreen. Our lawn has gone from being one of the worst on the street to one of the best within a matter of a few months. Weve been fighting an infestation of purple violet weeds for over the past 6 years. Every other provider has claimed they have the solution but NEVER delivered (not even close). NexGreen said they could manage it and DID within 2 applications. They are a very customer service minded organization and pay attention to the little details like making sure the gate is closed so the dog doesnt get out, moving the kids toys off the lawn before spraying, providing mower settings tips. These are the little things the others guys just dont do. Appreciate the great results and service!

Our grass was terribly full of weeds and has improved so much these past three month. It is also a darker green. The technicians who come to treat the lawn always take time to answer my questions and are knowledgeable and give suggestions on how to improve my lawn care. I get the feeling this company doesnt just employ summer workers, but hires people with knowledge and interest in plants.

Imitaz came to my door and introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. He was very polite and professional. This is my first experience with a lawn care service, and as of this posting, I am very satisfied with the service that I have received.

This was our 1st year with NexGreen and we are very satisfied with the service all the way around. The techs have been very informative with any questions or concerns we have had and were very responsive and fast acting to resolve a grub issue we had. The great service doesnt stop with techs, as the in house customer service rep that I have spoken to a few times is EXTREMELY pleasant and also provides great customer service.

Nexgreen is a great company! They are very professional and always email us notes on the status of their treatments and the problems the lawn has so even if I am not home I can keep up on the treatments. We have only done half a season but they have taken our grass from awful to amazing. I highly recommend them and their friendly staff.

i have used a lot of lawn places and paid a lot of money with no change in my lawn we have 3 dogs two of them are great dens i have just over a acre. my lawn was bad from my dogs.it only take a 1/2 a the summer with nexgreen and it looks like new.they are the best.you should see it now am so happy.
