Lush Lawn in Rochester Hills

After a season of mole control I have more moles now than before. After talking to lush lawn we are going to resolve this mole problem in the spring of 2025. Thank you for your response.

We just cancelled our LushLawn service as they performed on unauthorized partial aeration of our lawn for $255 based on an autorenewal policy they institute, so beware!

I have used Lush Lawn in the past. They have worked with me in scheduling my service plan, they have competitive prices and I am happy with the services they provide.

Worst lawn ferlizing company out there!! Going on 5 months and still have weeds, now have dead patches in my lawn, no customer service and no call backs. Wouldnt recommend to anyone!!!

Lush lawn takes care of two of my trees every late summer. I love that they keep track of us and I dont need to schedule it every year. They are injecting an anti fungal and have saved my flowering pear and flowering apple trees.

This is our second year with Lush Lawn. The person who applies the fertilizer and spray is very conscientious and does a great job. We continue to see a difference in the number of dandelions that are showing up. Of course a few appear but not like the past. This year the crabgrass or whatever weed it is made an appearance. I guess the weather was ideal for them. I called and during the next application, they applied special stuff to slowly kill them. I would highly recommend them to take care of your lawn.

I had a beautiful lawn that I spent years perfecting it. My wife talked me into hiring Lush Lawn to keep it looking good. Was that ever a HUGE MISTAKE! I ve never had more weeds and grubs in my lawn EVER, and they sprayed for weeds & grubs multiple times and I paid them for it. My lawn looks the WORST it s ever looked! I ve sent emails after emails with pictures to 3 & 4 of their staff including the manager/ owner. All I get is crickets! What EVER you do don t hire them. Dave

I always avoid leaving reviews, but this time I made an exception for my boy Mark Styles. Hes their best technician, in my honest opinion. The guy is SUPER professional with a heart of pure gold - not to mention 8 years of experience he has. The company is lucky to have this guy come out and crush it on every level for them, truly. Never been disappointed by the company. Even when there has been some sort of goof, theyre quick to amend it and wholeheartedly apologize for the inconvenience caused. Top notch.

Horrible responsiveness to issues. They do not show up or return phones calls. To top it off they, they severely damaged my fence with their mower, and are giving me the run around on getting it repaired. They have told me yes 3 times, but then wont actually do it. Please just tell me yes, or no, will you repair the damage? Edit: I called them again, they were very nice... said they would come take a look the next day. They never did.

I ve used Lush Lawn for many years now and actually pre-pay for the services at a discounted rate at the end of every year! The mosquito control with cedar oil and peppermint works great! Couldn t find how to add more services To this post, but they also overseed and aerate every year For me, along with removing my moles, and keeping my blue spruce trees alive !

I don t usually leave reviews but our Technician, Mark Styles, was so outstanding that I felt that I had to. Mark is a professional in every sense of the word, he is also very knowledgeable and has walked me through what our yard needs and explained to me why. Our yard has never looked better thanks to Mark and Lush Lawn.

I am a new customer having two applications at the end of 2023 and one application in 2024 so far. It is a 4 acre lot that was field grass, never fertilized. It was majority weeds. I am a new customer with Lush Lawn in 2024. One of the problems I had with other lawn care companies was damage done to my lawn from motorized spreaders. During the sales process, Lush Lawn agreed to have their technician walk the lawn in an effort to avoid this kind of damage. While I have only had two applications this season, I appreciate Lush Lawns willingness to work with me on this. Not having to deal with tire damage, fertilizer burn, or striping so far has been a real plus.

When he arrived to fertilize our lawn he found our backyard full of deck furniture scattered about as we had a power washing service done yesterday. Marshall took the time to assist us with putting everything back on the deck! And then he fertilized the yard. What a nice young man! Last week a bad storm tore through our neighborhood. The Lush Lawn Technician (Mark) came to service our home and wasn t able to due to the fact we had trees down on our property. In fact, he couldn t service any of our neighbors as well. Lines were down and fences were crushed. Mark said he would return in a few days to see if he could get the lawns done. When he returned some debris still was in the way and he helped move it from the lawn to the driveway so he could get the lawn done. He could have just drove off and returned at a later date but he instead took his time and helped my wife and I. He even made sure to avoid the exotic plants we have growing in our yard as to not damage them with weed killer. We are new to Lush Lawn and we would recommend their excellent service. They went above and beyond expectations!

Great Customer Service. Timely and quick to make adjustments due to inclement weather. Plus they are still reasonably priced.

Lush Lawn gives me an email letting me know that they will be mowing on the following day. If that doesnt work for me I can call or email to reschedule. When you call them, you get a person not an automated recording.

They make you keep a credit card on file so they can take a payment whenever they want. I had an extra service last year, they talked to us about the need for an aeration and we had it done last year. Apparently when you get an extra service done once, you re signing up for it going forward. They came this year without asking us if we wanted it again, then charged us 135.00 on our cc. I called upset and a Marie answered, ready to fight with me. I had sent a email first with no response. She never identified me, my address, or apologized, or any form of Customer service. She talked over me and I finally told her to stop. Cancel my service, etc. You can t do extra services without permission. You can t just charge people and say oh, look we sent you a email, and therefore we can do anything to your lawn and charge it. Bad, sneaky, lack of direct communication to the start of a new season.

Had a great experience with Jasten Veal. He approached me at the gas station while we were both fueling up our vehicles and he told me all about Lush Lawn and what they could do for me and my lawn. I hired Lush Lawn for mole protection, but was disappointed. The technician, uninformed about the promised treatment, applied the same product I buy from Amazon and missed most of my yard. No attention was given to my specific areas of concern. After this experience, I canceled the remaining service and feel frustrated having spent $150 for subpar treatment. This was a letdown from the promised standard.

The technician Mark is very friendly and takes the time to answer any questions I might have.

Overall great service. They do a great job of taking care of their customers and are always open to having conversations about rates, and what care is actually needed. I have an issue sometimes with moles in my yard (1 acre) and Scott has done a stellar job taking care of me each time hes out. Although its an expensive treatment I was happy to see I didnt have any so far this season. Hes always educating me on landscaping and his line of work. It was sad to see, Ed no longer is with the company, he too was very helpful and see my grass at its worse. Since then, it is on the list as one of best yards in the area. 5 star service, great business!

April 16, 2024, we were scheduled for a lawn treatment. Unfortunately, tree trimmers that we had engaged 2 weeks earlier, decided this day was going to be it. We called customer service multiple times after 8AM with no answer and finally left a text message to reschedule the treatment. Ryan L. did NOT get the message Ryan was the most accommodating and considerate service tech that we have ever experienced! He went off to service other clients in the area, and then came back. He treated the parts of the yard where the tree trimmers had finished. He even took his lunch to wait for the trimmers to be completely done. Ryan displayed great cooperation among service people to avoid walking through freshly applied crab grass and weed control; yet doing a great job on our yard! I would recommend Ryan L and Lush Lawn with 5 out of 5 stars!

Scott of Lush Lawn did a fabulous job (as usual) of treating our trees. His years of experience have always given us great advice and treatment for keeping our trees looking healthy and great.

Condescending, manipulative, game playing LIARS. Use this company IF you want someone to show up at your door and bang extremely hard multiple times to startle/scare you. Use this company if you want someone to come to your door PRETEND you scheduled a service and then perform lawn care that was not authorized!!! Use this company if you want to spend precious time cancelling your service just to have them show up and perform unauthorized lawn care, charge you and then when you call to complain they will tell you they have no record of you ever calling to confirm cancellation. TLDR: Use this lawn care service if you want to be manipulated, lied to, charged for unauthorized service and generally just treated really disrespectfully.

I paid them in advance for a year. During that time, I called them to re-treat an area of clover that was still thriving, which they came out and treated, but it only made the clover sick and it came right back. I called again and they asked for pictures, which I provided via e-mail, but they didnt come out again! Some warranty, eh? Now they want a first treatment payment for the new year and, after I told them I didnt want their services this year, they sent me a bill for a single treatment last year! Steer clear of this fraudulent, mickey mouse operation.

Each summer I receive repeated treatments of fertilizer and weed control. I also receive regular disease control treatment plus overseeding last year. My lawn, however, continues to have some difficulty with appearing lush, due to sporadic yellowish-brown patches and thinness. I contacted Lush Lawn and they have promised to make monthly return trips if necessary to finally resolve this problem . I look forward to their assistance.

Overall, Lush Lawn does a good job. They are here when promised. I just wish we could get our pre-emergent spray a little sooner in the spring to avoid crabgrass later in the year.

I was a TG customer for several years. They blundered and shut off account. New price was over double what I was used to. I called LL and someone immediately picked up. Good sign. The price was agreeable and Id figure Id give them a shot. Between the rain this year an LLs treatment, my lawn looks awesome. I certainly will be using LL again as long as pricing stays on par with this year.

I was pleased with the service received. This was the first year using Lush Lawn since the service I was using went away. I liked the emails specifying when the technician was going to come and do the application. The previous service did not do this. The exact chemical composition was spelled out for each application. The technician made good suggestions on making improvements on the lawn. I will be using them again next year.

Have used Lush Lawn for the past 3 years to do the fall lawn Aeration. The technician (Deonte) arrived promptly, was personable and went out of his way to make sure that I was completely satisfied before he left . Would highly recommend this service.

Lush Lawn has been great! We were referred to them by our prior provider who was no longer servicing our area and the transition was seamless. They send a notification when they are coming out to fertilize our lawn, provide feedback at the door or speak directly to us when we are home, and have made recommendations that have made our lawn look better.

It appears to me I am not the only one who weeds cannot be killed by lush lawn. I was told multiple applications is needs from a customer service rep, she also told me my money cannot be refunded and I ll have to pay for another application. I asked for her manager to call me and never received a call back. Why would I pay for something that doesn t work?? However, I can and have bought weed killer from the store that did it in one application.

Nice green yard & responsive to my needs. Have not had my last treatment . This is the 7th it was due the 5th according to my email.

This year we had multiple new plantings and didnt want weed killers near these plantings. Lush Lawn worked with us to use fewer applications once the landscapers started work.

Lush Lawn is more expensive than other services I have used, but they have had the best customer service of any of them. Last fall one of their machines got mired in a swampy portion of my lawn and made a mud pit. They notified me immediately, went and got fresh sod to repair the lawn, and also overseeded the area again this spring to make sure it was healthy.

I called them and they were out the next day. Happy customer.

Lawn feeding and weed and crabgrass prevention. We have used Lush Lawn for several years. The service is relatively a good value compared to the competitors. They provide advance notification of treatments and leave a document detailing what was applied. The results of their applications are that our lawn greens up earlier than others in our neighborhood and we have less weeds.

I am totally satisfied with Lush Lawn. My home backs up to a tree farm. There are plenty of weeds and always a battle to keep them off the grass. But with Lush Lawn its never an issue. I use them for mosquitoes and pests as well. Money well spent.

They have a required auto-renewal. They perform services on your property the next year without your consent. I sold a property and they continued to perform services without my consent. They refused to reverse the charges. Very short sighted. Many of my neighbors have requested recommendation on lawn services in the area, and I can not recommend this company.

For a monthly service- kept giving me excuses as to why they couldn t come out- holiday week, rained the night before even though service is rain proof. Found a worm in my daughters bed!!! If they would of came for the original monthly service or even the two times after they were suppose to come out this wouldn t of happened!!!!

They over fertilize my grass and continue to spray my grass even though it was damage. They were supposed to email me two days in advance they just started showing up and leaving me a bill.

I rarely ever post reviews on Google but this company deserves one. In short, stay away from Lush Lawn at all costs. Youre better off paying much more for any company. First, their quality of work is mediocre. The grass was getting worse after they started servicing it. Their policy is that you have to call them within 10 days of them coming out and tell them youre not happy in order for them to come out and fix it. In other words, if you are out of town or simply not checking daily on your yard, they are charging you for nothing. Not sure why Im paying a company if I have to call to let them (the experts) know their work is horrible. Second, they will auto-renew year after year (with my neighbor they did not even inform him of renewal... for me it was hidden between a hundred other SPAM emails). When I tried calling customer service and explaining that I wasnt happy with the service and that I didnt intentionally renew, they did not care and never tried to resolve. Instead, they continously charge late fees and send threatening letters that they will take the matter to Small Claims Court and collection and so on. I called them several times and tried to work out a plan with them... at least meet in the middle since I had only agreed with them on a one year plan... I explained that I did not find the need to call and cancel when I did not commit to a whole new year. Their agent says she will check with management and after a few days and another late fee letter, she apologizes that I have to pay the full or will send to collection. Then she apologizes for the tone of the letters that they will take it to small claims court (by the way, these are called threats in which they can get in trouble for). For potential customers - SAVE THE HEADACHE and do not sign up with Lush Lawn... just read the reviews below. I shouldve listened to others and went with plenty of other companies that at least will not steal your money. Save the headache and do not go with this company. Just between friends and relatives that I know, theyve lost at least 4 customers in the last month.

This is my 1st year with Lush Lawn and I am very impressed with their fertilization and weed control. They are very efficient and on time. My lawn has remained essentially weed free and green after only 3 treatments. I highly recommend Lush Lawn.

The first year I had Lush Lawn they did beyond spectacular. Anything and everything I thought of and wanted from a lawn service they did and more. I was having to mow my lawn twice a week almost every week due to how quickly my lawn was growing and how thick and healthy it was. If I was giving a star review on just my first year there wouldnt be enough stars to select. This most current year however the service has completely turned around. There is no follow through with most of what is said when, and if, I spoke to someone on the phone. I originally called in early August about the copious amounts of weeds and crab grass that is present in my front yard and with it being now September 19th there has still yet to be a resolution to the issue. I have called five times since with promises of the issue being fixed with no signs or attempts at following through on those promises. I am rating three stars because of the mix of the first year being five plus stars, and the one star I would give them this year. If the service returns to what it was I will again brag to everyone and anyone I can about how good of a job they do. To add to this for the current year. There has been much more communication on the part of Lush Lawn. I have received communicator back within a business day of any communication I initiated, and they have let me know when they are coming out ahead of time with an email the day before and a phone call when I am the next stop. My lawn looks good, not as great as it did the first year, but it is getting much better. Last year I gave them three stars based on the drop in performance. I have since changed my review to four starts because of the effort they are making.

I only gave Lush Lawn a few days notice, and yet, they worked me in to make sure the job was done before the shower. Heather went above and beyond to accommodate my needs (incredibly, I initially provided the wrong address!) GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Wont be using them in the future. My lawn has more weeds than ever before. Yes it is green, full of crabgrass and weeds. I paid to have my lawn cared for, waste of money. I shouldnt have to call them to get results.

We no longer use Lush Lawn. We canceled midway through the season. Our reason being, we had weeds that were not going away. When my husband called he was told these weeds were hard to get rid of. So, my husband went to a Nursery, was recommended a product, and it worked. So if we could get rid of it why could not Lush Lawn. They made no attempt to help solve the problem. All lawn service companies rush through fertilizing, etc etc. no personalized care.

We have had dollar spot fungus issues for years. Used Scotts disease control lawn products, with no success. Hired TruGreen, who promised to fix the problem. Spent a considerable amount of money over two years, with no success. Contacted Lush Lawn about core aeration, which they performed. Saw in one on their newsletters that they send out, that they treat lawn fungus issues. Figured we would give them a shot, as weve had no prior success with others. They put a sulfur treatment down, which finally addressed the dollar spot / lawn fungus issue. With all the money we previously spent with others, had we gone to Lush Lawn sooner, we would have saved thousands of dollars. We highly recommend them.

All Summer, I expected recommendations to treat the Leaf Spot fungus. Mowed and watered as recommended. Received many chemical applications. None eliminated the fungus. People walking by would not like the sight of my lawn. Cannot refer others. Mosquito control was perfect, as was the tree treatments. Very good business operation and professional employees.

My service tech Seth did an outstanding job with core aeration and over seeding. I m kind of picky with my lawn. I explained what I wanted done and he really paid attention to my detail. He worked his off with the aeration machine. My yard is not easy to maneuver around and he did a fantastic job, very polite, professional young man. I made sure to complement him in front of my cousin, who was working on a project with me in front yard. This great customer service is EXACTLY why I left Trugreen.

I started using Lush Lawn service for lawn fertilization last year. Not only they are very responsive, the quality of their application is outstanding. I was with the other green company that didnt make any different to my yard for years. Switching to Lush Lawn was one of the best decisions I made. Canceling after this year. Prices for aeration and fertilization have skyrocketed. Every time I pay a bill I have 3 more waiting for me for services I dont remember signing up for. The last time they did aeration they left a big chunk of our lawn torn up right by our front sidewalk. I never see a (positive) difference on our lawn after fertilization so I dont think its worth the money.

Had to have five pine trees medicated,one was iffy but the other four were just showing signs of sickness this spring I will have to have four removed after two years of injections at $1080.00 a year due to a fungal infection of some sort,they have been getting worse every year but they show up and do whatever and leave making sure you get the bill,poor service dont know how they stay in business when they dont know what they are doing,the only thing they want is your money and provide poor service.Thanks alot I could have had the trees removed so they wouldnt keep getting worse.
