I've had some trouble growing grass in the past so I decided I needed to test my soil to make sure I was giving the seed the best opportunity to grow. A friend of mine had used GroSmart and suggested I check them out. It was a smart way to start... They sent soil kits with instructions so easy to understand that my kids were able to dig up the samples (they were excited to dig outside the sandbox) and then I stuffed them in the mailing packages that were provided. The postage was paid so all I had to do was drop the packages in a USPS dropbox. About a week later I received my results for each part of the lawn that I sampled. The results for each sample contained detailed instructions on what exactly I needed to apply, how much I needed to apply and when I needed to apply it. It was like an action plan for each section of the yard that was tested. Also, the treatment instructions were much more detailed than the gimmicky eye dropper pH tests that I also saw online. After that I just followed the directions like I was baking a cake. I spread the lime, seed and fertilizer at the appropriate settings as prescribed in my results. Physically doing the work is easy for me but I don't have time to do the research on what I need and groSMART took care of that for me.
