Beware. This company was supposed to come out today, Monday, to diagnose a problem we were having with our irrigation system. I made the appointment on Friday. When I talked to them on Friday all they told me was that I would have to pay $75 for the visit. Fine. If they found something and we hired them to do the work they would put that $75 toward the work. Great. They called me this morning, left a message, and told me the technician would be late. He was supposed to be here at 10:00am. It was now going to be 10:30-11:00. Fine. Then called me back to make sure I got the message. When I spoke with the gentleman he then wanted my credit card information to have on file. Ummmm NO! They hadnt even come to my house, didnt know if they would even show, and you want me to give you my credit card information? Absolutely NOT! I have NEVER had a company come out to my house that I had to pay ahead of time. NEVER! He then called me back at 11:06 and told me that because I couldnt provide them with my credit card information they would have to cancel my appointment for today and reschedule for next week! This company seems shady at best. They wasted my time! I could have had a reputable company out already to do the job that I need done. I would be very careful about doing business with this company.

Im a professional guardian for a senior and I needed help right away. I called numerous lawn services with high ratings and many wouldnt even call me back. One actually had me pay them first and then told me they wouldnt be able to get to it until a week later. Top Lawn Pros returned my call right away. I sent pictures and I got an estimate and they came out and did an amazing job and sent a video of the work after it was completed but before they left the property assure it was done the way we wanted. As a busy professional, I appreciated the quality of the services we received.

I had lawn service with Top Lawn Pros for 6 months now. The lawn service was nothing special they left weeds in my yard. They cut my bushes once and it was a bad job with vines still there. Multiple times I had to have them come back for lawn care they didn t do. They left a bunch of weeds all the time. Detail is not something they pay attention to. You re better off doing your own lawn for the price you pay. Not only that, he told me to call when I was ready to pay for my service. I called and emailed but I was ignored. Ruben (the owner) replied with an insulting email 2 weeks later about dog poop services calling me a Racoon inadvertently trying to be funny. Racoon is a racial slur against black people. This is not a service he even offers it s just a way to carefully insult me. See the photo of the email the owner Ruben sent me. I paid over $1,000 in lawn service to be insulted. Now I see why other reviewers did not recommend this company.

Tino did an excellent job cutting my grass. He made sure that my lawn looked absolutely perfect and even took the time and care to cut along my AC unit that was surrounded by grass, which was a major concern for me. If you call and leave a message, the call back is less than 5 minutes. Write an email and you will receive an immediate response by Reuben who is the owner!!! Update review 9/2024 We initially chose Top Lawn Pros due to their reputation for high-quality service. Unfortunately, our experience has significantly declined over the past few months. Despite repeated communications about ongoing issues, such as uneven edging, inconsistent mowing, and grass clippings being blown into our mulched tree and flower beds, the same errors have persisted without resolution. On August 15, 2024, after our initial concerns were raised, we were assured that the best team would be assigned moving forward. However, the same crew continued to provide subpar service, with no visible improvements in their work. This situation reached a point where we were forced to ask that our property be skipped in hopes of allowing improperly cut areas to regrow. Despite our best efforts to engage with management and provide opportunities for improvement, the quality of service remained below the standard we were promised. Compounding these issues, the crew s lack of communication resulted in further inconvenience when they mowed while our vehicles were parked in the driveway, leaving grass clippings all over them. Our requests to resolve these problems have largely gone unanswered, and no credit or compensation was offered for the repeated service failures. Given our commitment to maintaining the appearance of our property, including investing in additional services with another company, the lack of attention to detail and continued errors from Top Lawn Pros has been deeply disappointing. We ultimately canceled our service due to their inability to meet the expected standards and their focus on revenue generation over quality customer care. We would not recommend Top Lawn Pros for lawn mowing services to homeowners who value reliability and consistent quality in lawn care services. 4/2024: Top Lawn Pros provided impeccable services such as mulch removal and replacement, weed cleaning, tree trimming, lawn mowing, and edging, they ensured customer satisfaction with a personal call from Latisha. Their commitment to excellence and customer care sets them apart from the rest.

**Update: After this review was posted, the owner came by and corrected the issue and apologized, but no credit was offered for inconvenience since my water bill will be affected. Because of that, I cant give a higher rating. I did, however, continue mowing services. AG *I started services last week, days after the first cut I went outside and noticed my main water pvc pipe was pushed/hit and leaking water due to cement seal broken. This was due to using a riding mower in a small yard. I called ofc, no answer all day Monday. I called Tuesday a.m. and advise staff of incident, 5 hrs later, still no return call to fix matter. I gave up, called back demanding a refund and cancelation of future services. They had no problem charging my card a week before completing service but crickets when theres a problem. Now I have to call a plumber and pay a fee just to re-cement a water line. I grow tired of companies taking my money and causing additional headaches. Poor customer service.

Highly Recommend Top Lawn Pros! I used them for over a year for a house I was renting and only recently stopped because I closed on a house out of their service zone. If possible, I would keep using them. I leveraged them for lawn seed, total front lawn sod replacement, flower bed weed removal, and bush trimming. All of the services were done expeditiously and above expectations. Prices are very fair for the Riverview market and the interaction between myself and Ruben or his staff were always pleasant. Theres something different about being able to call a company and speak directly to the owner and then have them personally come out to see you, and Ruben is one of those guys. Would also like to give a shout out to Mindy, who is just a pleasant lady all around. Great customer service and the follow-through was always there. Overall, I would highly recommend this crew to anyone in need of a consistent lawn care service. Even someone that manages their own lawn would benefit from some of the services they offer, especially during this high heat season. Top Lawn Pros did an a truly fantastic job at our house! We moved and just needed it mowed a few times and they were able to fit us in quickly and their team did a fabulous job! They did hit a sprinkler while they were there and didnt let us know, but their office lady was super helpful about it.

Less than two months with this company and their workers cracked the pipe to where the water goes to the sprinklers and they refused to do anything about it and their work is subpar at best. Not worth the $150 they charged. To answer your reply, of course you notified me as soon as you found it because you guys did it. It s a brand new house when I walked my dogs that morning that wasn t leaking all of a sudden when your guys get there it s leaking your guys hit it because the plumber even said that it was struck by something for it to cause that crack. It s more like cover your you know what rather than good faith. All I wanted was to take an accountability and just be responsible and do the right thing. But your concerned about a 1 star review

I don t normally take the time to give online reviews, but after working with Top Lawn to resod my lawn, I felt I needed to. I could not expect better service than I received from them. It is difficult to find a company that is as reliable as they have been. From the initial phone call for a quote to them coming back to cut and edge after a month of the new sod taking root, everything was perfect. If you have a smaller job they will not bother to contact you back with an estimate. Rueban came out and looked over my property. After telling him all the things we wanted to do (new garden beds, mulch, stone curbing, shrub trimming, shrub removal, tree trimming) he said hed give me a quote by the evening. Never provided the quote or responded to my email when I followed up. Then when I was still searching through Angies list this company called me daily to come out regarding the work, not realizing they ghosted me previously. Waste of my time and very unprofessional.

I felt overwhelmed with the amount of leaves, weeds and overgrown plants in my yard. I found Top Lawn Pros online and submitted an inquiry. Ruben reached out very shortly after I submitted the inquiry on the website and came out to our home same day to give us a quote for yard cleanup and new mulch. The work was scheduled for two days later. The team was out there for two full days, practically from sun up to sun down due to the size of our yard and the amount of work cut out for them. When I finally saw the finished product I was so happy. It was better than I had imagined. I highly recommend this company for lawn cleanup/landscaping/plant care. I will absolutely use them again for any additional lawn needs.

I am a disabled veteran and I cannot do most yard work given my disabilities. I called top lawn pros because I needed professionals to do what I could not. After talking and their their $5 first mow special, I agreed to it and after the first mow we would decide if I would move forward with their monthly reoccurring service. I woke up this morning to a $114 charge for the month even though my first cut was supposed to be today. I called their line and RUBIN was the representative I spoke to. I explained my frustration and turns out he was the person I spoke to and tried to turn it around saying well we thought you were going to accept since we were doing the first cut. I told him that he explained ti me and that this first cut was a trial to judge their work and if I would like to continue service. He offered and refund and I explained to him while I frustrated regardless of it being a mistake i shouldn t have to call down and fix their mistake while I m trying to take care of my son who has the stomach flu. He said he would refund but not honor the mow today because IT WOULD BE LOSS on them and waste of their time to come out. I told him that the fact they don t even want to try to mitigate the situation. He didn t want to accept responsibility and now wants to refuse me service because I held him accountable and told him how unprofessional and terrible they re conducting themselves. So if anyone knows any lawn mowing services that actually are veteran friendly, any help would be great

I shopped around different quotes and ultimately went with this company. Ruben was professional and was even able to get me a same day quote. Within a week I had new sod and landscaping installed. The team was fast and communicative. Highly recommend!

You never called about a payment, and there were no emails either. Myself and my husband Gave YOU MULTIPLE attempt to fix the issues. After ai cancelled with your company thats when it was Oh you have a bill lets even mention that if a missing bill was the case why when we called to tell you about the issues would you not say anything. You got mad because I canceled our services with you. There was no point having you come out when we had to go over your guys work. As far as YELLING....I raised my voice with you when you kept talking over me. It was rude of you as a man and owner to talk over your female customer. Learn some customer service skills. I would be more then willing to let you sit in my office and hear how we speak with our customers. We are always helpful and respectful no matter what. We fix any issues that may arise. Your comment is besides the point and just trying to make yourself look good. * If you use this company, beware.... the company came out and mowed our grass ( if thats what you can call it).There were spots in the grass that were constantly missed, and sometimes, they just didnt cut it in areas on purpose. They broke a couple of my solar lights. Each time, there was an issue my husband or I called. We were told it would be better next time. I finally canceled a month ago. I was even nice and just said we no longer needed their services. They charged my husbands cc today and said oh it was a past bill. *I myself, as a business owner, understand the relationship between company and customer. This company does not. They do not care and wont do your lawn justice. If you want a GREAT LAWN care person, let me know. I can give you a number.* If I had a customer call with complaints, I would for sure try and make it right. This company will NOT!!! BEWARE!!

Been using Top Lawn for a couple months now. Super happy with the service! My yard looks great. I really like how they edge around sidewalks, fences and flower beds. They also check in with me from time to time to see if I am happy with everything or if I need anything additional. They are consistent - only a couple reschedules due to weather. Ruben has been very communicative from the beginning. Of the three or four providers that I requested quotes from he was the only one to respond and did so within the same business day. I have a difficult yard with a large back area that cant be accessed by a riding mower but he still accepted the job. After my first service there was a strip that was missed so I reached out and told him it was okay and I would go over it the next day but that I just wanted to let him know so it didnt happen again. He told me to leave it and that his guys would be back in the morning. Sure enough they came back the following day and Ruben followed up with photos showing the fix. Lawn looks great and I will continue to use their services and recommend to others in their area. Edit: I recently sold this property and from the time I started with Top Lawn Pros until the last service under my ownership, the crew was nothing but professional and courteous to my tenant. Not once did I receive a complaint. One sprinkler head got damaged and they replaced it the next day no questions asked.

I contacted Top Lawn Pros when my previous lawn service was having issues cutting ,my lawn (due to covid). I started searching for a new lawn service and filled out three separate requests for quotes. Within 30 minutes Ruben called me back, from Top Lawn Pros, He gave me the information and costs. I told him I would call him back as I wanted to see if anyone else would contact me. No one did, so I called Ruben back and signed up with him. I went to his website and registered, which was a breeze. He texted me back, within about 15 minutes saying everything was confirmed and I was all set. My grass was extremely tall, had not been cut in about three weeks. Ruben said they would be there the following Tuesday to cut the lawn, Tuesday morning rolls around and there they are cutting the grass as promised. Didnt take them too long, they made the yard look great. We are very pleased with how it turned out. Everything went exactly as Ruben described, I have no issue with recommending them to anyone. Company has damaged my aluminum fence twice in the last 3 months. The 1st time I spoke to the owner he immediately said he would have repairs made. I told him him that I did not want to take money out of the pockets of a small business person and I would have it repaired. I asked just not to let it happen again and we shock hands. We they have run their tractor into my fence on 3 panels bending the spindles again. I spoke with the rudest women at the time and she looked at me like to bad just leave me alone. The look on her face was that of somebody that wished she had never been born. I left a message on the company line and cant even get a call back. If I do not hear from the by the end of business on 10/11 I will start posting on 5 different area Facebook pages daily until they fix my fence. Referrals are everything. They just dont get it that they can not damage a $6000 fence and just not care. Additional info has been brought to my attention. I have been informed the the rude employee has autism and what I took for rudness my have been a lack of understanding.
