Started service with Chris and couldn t be happier. He sent one of the crew to do an initial clean up of the front and side beds, and he far exceeded my expectations. The front beds looks the best they have in a long while!

I normally let my yard get a little rough over the winter. This year in early February I hurt my back and the yard quickly got too cumbersome for me to get caught back up. I reached out to Big Daddy Lawns who worked with me to get a reasonable quote. I told them how much time it took me to get scope of work done and they gave me a solid quote and when they would be there. The guys arrived late in the afternoon on a Friday to for me in. There was no cutting of corners to get done despite the Friday afternoon start time. When they were done my lawn looked better than any time I have done it. I may require surgery in the coming weeks and If so, Big Daddy will get the call to take care of my lawn. Just a note - many landscapers will.not want to do a one off lawn event or will begin the pressure of selling you on a contract even before the work is done. I was never pressured at any time in the process and if you are like me that is a beautiful thing.

I wanted to support a local business for my lawn care. I asked for a quote and received no reply. I also followed up a week later and received no reply. Communication is key.

Called no return call. Call again was told to text information. Followed up a week later was told didn t receive text said they would be out this past weekend and didn t show up or call.

Chris and his guy did an amazing job taking out my dying yard and laying sod down. Couldn t be happier. Great job

Changing my review because Chris got back to me and we spoke about my situation. Once we communicated the service was spectacular. Greg was out within a few hours, scheduled time over the weekend to trim the trees and pricing is very reasonable. I would suggest you reach out to this local small business and keep it int he family. Local is the way to go and keep the area thriving. Former military workers as well who take the extra time to make sure it is neat clean and sharp! Highly recommend contacting Chris for his services!

Chris and his team are the best!! My previous lawn care company disappeared once the events of Covid happened, so i reached out to Big Daddy. Not only did they pick up where the old company left off, but their service and professionalism far surpasses. Extremely happy so far and have already recommended Chris and team to a few friends. Big Daddy Lawn care in Gibsonton. This is the 10th time I mentioned to the employees of this company to please when they are mowing my neighbors house to not pass to my side!!! I do have a totally different type of grass St Augustine and my neighbors have Bahia. I have to cut my grass high!! Is not the first time they do this and I don t like to put metal posts to divide my lawn from my neighbors but I don t see any other way! If St Augustine is cut low it dies!!!! Why is not good enough to said only one time! Why each time this company cut the grass I have this problem!!

Spent thousands on sod installation landscaping only to have his team destroy a lot of the work through careless weed whacking. Will be spending a lot more on repairs. Used to be excellent but declined tremendously over the last few months. Stay away! Update: In reply to Chris note. His company is the one who installed sod in my backyard; not sure how he can blame the pool company? Since he does not have a lawnmower that fits through my gates, his team decided to use a weed whacker on a weekly basis to mow my back-yard. Due to this, the grass was cut too shot and a big part of it has died. Also, we have one dog and we clean up after him daily. Please dont spread false information.

Have been using Big Daddy Lawns since I moved into the area 4 years ago. Never even had to think about the lawn in that whole timespan. Never late... never an issue... never long grass even in the summer. Easy online payment too. Great service! Highly recommended!
