I am completely floored. I filled this out. Not expecting anything other than AI bot to read my comments, and do nothing about it. Instead less than 24 hours later, I got to call addressing my concerns. When I first called in complaining about A certain specialist not willing to fumigate the entire yard due to an irrational fear of falling into the pool (another employee fell into a different pool and it made this specialist feel like he was also going to fall into my pool ), I felt like I was heard but I dont feel like anything was going to change. I never got to speak with a manager and the person on the other end did empathize but that was it. Today, Lorraine( I think that was her name ), made me feel like I was the most important person. She empathized with my issue and instead of just listening she actually recommended and made changes to ensure that I wouldnt have that level of poor on-site service again. That previous specialist that had the irrational fear of falling in wont be back. And, another specialist who is far more thorough, will be on site instead. I think the product is great. I was a little disillusioned from the initial service, but now Im definitely going to re-up. This last contact solidified my relationship with TruGreen .

So far im really liking this service. Gino was the #1 reason why I decided to continue with TruGreen, he has been friendly and is very knowledgeable. There was dramatic improvement after the 1st treatment.

My lawn has never looked this good since I started my Tru-Green service. The health of my lawn has improved greatly, my trees and shrubs likewise. I am very happy that Tru-Green has done a great job in protecting my investment in my lawn. I would and have recommended Tru-green to the many inquiries from my neighbors.

What was once a nice green lawn is now dead thanks to Trugreen. I called these guys because I had an issue with killing St Augustine that was invading my Tall Fescue. They told me they can do it. On the report they put down that my grass type is Bermuda and sprayed my grass with some fertilizer and some weed killer. Well fast forward one week now my lawn is dead. Avoid at all costs.

He answered all of my questions and helped me realize that some of the weeds that I have, are actually a variety of grass, which cannot be treated with a selective herbicide. He listened to my concerns about crabgrass and reassured me that he would be treating with a pre-emergence treatment today. Robert was very knowledgeable, and reassuring. Im not home often, so this was the first time I was able to speak with a Trugreen representative. Thank you!

For our property in Redlands, we have contracted with TruGreen for the past 4-5 years. TruGreen has been a great service to keep the lawn looking good; however, for the last year, the quality of service has been absent. Ive been attempting to work with the company to help get them back on track, but I give up. ** The treatment charge is just under $80 per visit...I would gladly pay more if I knew I was getting trusted and complete service. ** Last Thursday, TruGreen employees spent 75 seconds on the front lawn fertilizing and weed spraying ** Also last Thursday, the TruGreen employees opted to completely skip service on the lawn in the backyard On Friday, when I called and attempted to resolve (yet again) the company said the local branch would get back to me in a week. This lack of quality service (i.e., not fully covering the lawn, not doing the backyard lawn, not showing up on promised dates, having the same issues over and over, and the companys lack of a local office contact....as everything routes through a nationwide call center) unfortunately has been a repeat issue. When I call the company to report the incomplete service, the call center has me detail out the problems -- the same issues as last month. TruGreen eventually sends another employee out to complete the service. I am tired of chasing bad service, so I cancelled on Friday. The company has been advised on numerous occasions that external NEST cameras capture all aspects of the yard (I was amused when the call center said they would add a note to my account that the customer has cameras), but then, why should a customer have to monitor the cameras to determine if the service was provided.

We have the lawn fertilization package, works great. Technicians are great. Office not so good, communication poor. I have told office that technicians have to knock as gate is locked due to having a pool and a large dog. Technicians had not received that information from the office.

TruGreen is a company that provides lawn care services, but unfortunately, their service is subpar. The companys lack of attention to detail and poor follow-up leaves a lot to be desired. From missed appointments to incomplete work, TruGreens service is unreliable. Its a shame that a company that specializes in lawn care cant seem to take care of its own business.

Unethical! Trugreen technician came to service my lawn today. The technician only did my front yard and never went to my backyard. Then sent me a text to say service was complete. I was in the house and he never came to the backyard. What type of service is this? I pay way too much to be cheated on! The back gate locked was left open just like always when they come. This is the first time this has happened. Probably didn t know I was home. Trugreen isn t what it s cracked up to be anyway. If you use and pay for their service make sure you they actually do their job!

Finally met the guy who has been applying the fertilizer for the past 4 visits. Ive been trying to catch him but its tough when they tell me the day before he comes out. The service office could not tell me, for some reason, when he would be out. I asked weeks in advance and it would have been much more convenient. Otherwise, this decision has been a good one. Grass is looking much healthier, horrible weeds are gone and bare spots are filling in. Thank you TruGreen!

I use TrueGreen for the mosquito repellent! I have seen less mosquitos in my yard and in my house compared to friends and family that don t use this service!

Yesterday Christopher did aeration and overseeding but did not bring enough seed to complete my lawn. There was another bag of seeds in his truck but probably not tall Fescue which is on my lawn and he didnt use it to complete the job. He has scheduled himself to return on Monday to complete the backyard and I reminded him that he did not do one side of the front which he thought he did. I have camera evidence that he didnt. Lets see if he does complete the job.

Just a shout out to Ed B that he does a great job, is careful in spraying/treating the lawn to make sure all sections are dosed. Helpful with recommendations and any advice and explains the products used and their purpose when asked. You can tell Ed B loves his job and is very professional.

He was extremely professional and friendly. He reassured me on the processes it would take to get my lawn looking really nice and gave a great price breakdown. I cant wait to have someone come and service my lawn because its a hot mess to be honest. TruGreen used to be a really good company now the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing I hope the manager that I worked with in the past when he gets back from vacation will resolve the problems Ive had but other than that when they type my complaint into their system they put what they want it not what was said they should be ashamed of themselves

The individual that they sent out to sell their product is a liar and was fired from the company after scamming 10 or 11 people. Do not recommend. do not listen to their sales people. They hire scam artists and then it isnt their fault when they person runs off with your money. The service is also trash. I don t notice any difference in my lawn before or after them coming. And the mosquito service is also fraud. You will still have flies, spiders, and mosquitoes. If I could give this company zero out of 10 stars, I would.

I have been a customer for almost two years now and the lawn goes through highs and lows. This is all due to their lack of consistency, the attention to detail is sub par! Had the last visit on my Ring cam and the employee hardly sprayed my yard, and I was furious when I had seen this. I did reach out to the customer service folks and they advised me they would have it resprayed today....well the employee sat in the truck for 20 minutes. Walked the yard for 3 and took off, no application like promised. I was even harassed by numerous up sale calls for their bug spray application and such and advised them to stop soliciting me. It still continued with 15 calls past telling them to stop. In all I am done. I can spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Not impressed.I had aeration and weed control completed end of last year, beginning of this year. I tried to contact them and tell them I was unhappy and they just wanted to lower the price,therefore I canceled service. Unacceptable, I want what I paid for a green lawn.

I wish I had hired TruGreen 2 years ago to protect my investment in new sod--it is so bad that I thought TruGreen might back out of the job. First visit Ed sprayed for my weeds, which are turning brown after 1 day! Your guy Ed took the time to discuss my lawn, what I was after, and impressed me by being the first person to know what my weeds are--or were. I can tell the company is well-run and really has their stuff together to automate the service call, the analysis, and web support. Dont tell me anything bad about this company--I am soooooo happy I finally took the plunge.

I paid for service one year in advance, thinking that I was paying in advance, one year was up, I canceled my service. Then I got a bill for $63, I called TruGreen and explained that I canceled my service, and they said I did not cancel in time an had to pay for the last month. They were unwilling to refund the month that I did not want and I explained that I thought I was paying in advance, why did you do the service after my year had ended. Just be careful in start up service. I thought they would have consideration and refund the month that I did not want, but to know avail.

My Trugreen Techs are always pleasant, personable and professional. They are always interested to know what my concerns are; we have had a great rapport throughout my years with Trugreen.

Tru Green knows what they are doing my lawn looks fantastic. I am amazed how how green and well hydrated it looks. In Fontana we are getting ripped off on water. Tru Green saves me a TON of money. EDIT: For some reason my lawn has taken a turn for the worse and Tru Green has done NOTHING but blame me for not watering.. Except I have increased my watering and still have a serious issue with my lawn. You get your stars back when I get my lawn back..

Unfortunately this company has fallen far short of expectations. Even more concerning is possibly a lack of concern for the environment. We Have had some scheduling and service issues with Tru Green and never received a callback from anyone about concerns. The last issue was a broadcast of fertilizer all over the sidewalk and into the street and public right of way. The fertilizer had to be cleaned up by us or it would ve got into the storm water system Tru Green seems very careless and we are discontinuing our use of this company. SC

Had trugreen for months kept waiting for something good to happen with my lawn it never came my neighbors yard who only uses store bought items spends less than $100 a year has a spectacular looking lawn trugreen would charge me per month I guesstimate spending over 4 to 500 for the year finally I had enough I asked why doesnt my lawn look like my neighbors they kept giving me excuses then they would lower the price just to get more money I finally had enough bought those things my neighbor did now I have a nice thick lawn .

He did not explain to me what he was going to do or when his next visit is going to be it would have been helpful if hes explained to me what he was going to be doing to the yard.

I have been very happy with the service I receive from TruGreen, I got pest service and the lawn care, Bugs gone, Grass is green and lush. I had other services for pest control and this is far superior. I have been very happy. Technician Robert S, does a very thorough job.

I have had the worst experience with trugreen lawn care ever! I contacted them to help me maintain my beautiful plush green lawn. After the third treatment, my beautiful lawn was brown, yellowish and a large part dead. When I first contacted them that 3/4 of my lawn had been reseeded with the Canadian green grass seeds ,a mouth and a half earlier. It was so beautiful, growing about an inch a day. So I complained to supervisor Jennifer at branch 5725 , she sent specialist Frank K out and he first said it was something brought up out of the ground from all the rain we had this year. I reminded him, that the grass grew tremendously with all the rain pryer to treatments, later he said it was damaged by the heat, I again reminded him it was really cool during the month of May, so I told him that the Canadian green grass seed was cold and heat resistance, then he said he did not know what Canadian green grass seeds where. Here lies the problem, trugreen lawn care did not know how to properly treat the newly planted Canadian green grass seeds. I had prepaid in full for their service, I asked for a refund and they only gave the remaining balance back, charging me for the three treatments that highly damaged my beautiful lawn and that is not fair. I should be given a full refund back because of their mistake. On top of that, on the 24 on June, I call to see what time the specialist Frank K would be coming to my home, I was told he had been there and reseeded my lawn, I told them I had been outside waiting for them, later supervisor Jennifer said he forgot the seeds and would be back on the 26 of June. Well he came back not with the Canadian green grass seeds but with fescush grass seeds, I told him we wanted the grass we planted, he gave me that look and said he didnt know what to tell me, that he didnt know what Canadian green grass seeds were and he would talk to supervisor Jennifer..At that point I call in hoping to get a full refund.. Sad, broken hearted and not happy with trugeen lawn care because they made my lawn truely brown, yellowish and a large portion dead! I wish I could show pictures of before and now, but I see we are not allowed to post pictures here...

My first visit WAS NOT $29.95. It was $167!!!! They said I approved of other treatments that they did the first visit but I did not! they told me my first visit was $29.95!! It s not just riverside office that s just the trugreen way.

I have had True Green for most of this year. My lawn looked great at first. Ever since the last technician came and added something to the bare spots, I have crabgrass. I have lived here for over 19 years and have never had this problem. The communication from this company has been less than desirable. They say they will call you to set up a time for service and then dont but a technician will randomly show up. Today one showed up and the first thing I noticed was that his shirt looked like it had been thrown on the floor for several days and then worn today. It was very wrinkled. That shouldnt matter but it looked very unprofessional to me.

Though the guys that come and do the work have all been great and professional etc, the quality of my grass has suffered greatly with this routine. We have had TG come back on 3 occasion to view the damage to my lawn and this last treatment again caused damage. I will not be renewing their service and at this stage do not recommend using TG.

Ive had True Green servicing my lawns for over 2 yrs now. I can say that both the front and back lawns look pretty good. I will say that if you like to know when someone is on your property and when they aren t, this is probably NOT the service for you. Their consideration in letting you know when they are to arrive is and has been a huge problem for me since we have locked gates and I have to either know to unlock them beforehand or be at the property. I understand from their offices that none of the drivers, that actually come to the house, have cell phones that can be reached by the office staff and they rely solely on rather the drivers check their text screens in their trucks etc. This presents many issues. Also if you have trouble spots in your lawn they do not repair or try to repair unless reminded every time. Our lawns have the same problem areas in them as they did 2 yrs ago. They would be getting 5 stars if it wer t for these issues.

This office and the call center are incredibly non responsive. I just fired TruGreen. They have the worst Customer Service department, and I have spent several hours over 2 months trying to reach the local management. Its impossible, their minions do a magnificent job of protecting themselves. On 2/14/18 I tried to get an over seeding added as an option FOR A FEE. No calls. Not marketing, the local branch, no one. In March, after having been ignored by TruGreen for the Marathon over-seeding quote, I purchased $260 of Marathon seed, with plans to do it myself if they wouldnt. Meanwhile, they had visited and deposited a pre emergent that prohibited and current over seeding! On 3/21/18 I somehow managed to get transferred to the office via the call center. The lady that answered admitted she didnt see a need to call me back, and blew it off. When I questioned why she decided I didnt merit a call back, she became quite rude and when I asked that the branch manager call me she demurred. But that call back never happened. I also called the cell of Larry Stewart on 3/21/18, the guy that CLAIMED to be the owner of the branch. Left a VM for him as well. Big surprise, no response. Its also noteworthy that upon our signing up in August, 2017 Larry tried to muscle me into an immediate extension beyond August 2018 for about $300 (to be prepaid, like this service). Today, 4/11/18 I again called the central number, requested a call back from a regional manager for TruGreen. I received a call back from Mike Roth, the new Riverside CA manager, replacing Larry Stewart who was transferred to Pasadena, CA. About 30 seconds into the conversation, I was dropped. Ill assume that was real, since I was on my cell phone. He called back, but apparently went DIRECTLY to VM. Strange. The voicemail was barely intelligible, but he gave me his name, and said I should call him should I need anything. Unfortunately he failed to give me a direct dial phone number. Doing a redial just got me to the Central TruGreen phone exchange, again. Clearly he had no real desire to speak to me, or hes have said hed call again, or would have given me a number. Once again, the painfully unrewarding cycle of them trying to reach the Riverside office resulted in a no one answered response. Apparently I was expected to call them again. I repeatedly asked for a direct dial number, and was told they cant do that, they can only forward calls from there. I asked for a supervisor and had an even more exasperating, circular conversation that eventually resulted in my cancelling the service and getting a less than adequate refund. While typing this, yet another TruGreen person left a VM asking me to indicate which technician was under-performing. They wanted to blame the lawn tech for the Customer Service/Sales/Management issues! Besides being mediocre in their sales follow-up, they seem to not listen or care about the customer. If I could, I would have given ZERO stars. I hope this keeps others from a similarly disappointing experience. BUYER BEWARE!

My lawn was awful. There s a lot of brown spots and the grass was dying. I called TruGreen thinking that they wil be able to solve my problem. When my first appointment came the technician told me I have to reseed it and put toppers and in a month the grass will grow back. I ask him aren t you guys going to do that? That s why I signed for the program. He said no we don t do that. I went inside my house for a minute when I came out he s done. I didn t even know what he did he just gave me the receipt. After a month after I reseed my lawn there s a couple of spots that s brown. My second appointment came I asked the technician why some spots are brown. He told me I killed the grass by over fertilizing it. I thought he s going to do something to fix it. But he did not. He just sprinkled fertilizer and sprayed and he s done. He gave me the receipt and left. I can do what he did my self. That s when I decided to quit from the program. They don t do anything except put fertilizer and spray. Each visit only lasted 10 minutes each and they re gone. What a waste of money. I don t recommend this service at all. Very poor communication from the technician.

I had St Augustines grass for years. I hired true green to get rid of clovers that kept growing in my lawn. After months of using them I had 3 different types of grass. I had asked them in the beginning about the care of my grass and told them I DID NOT want any other grass besides the St Augustines. I made it clear I just wanted care for healthier grass and to rid the clovers. A year later I have 3 different types of grass and a bunch of bald and brown spots from the seeds they thru on that is now dying!! My grass looks awful!! It looked better when I just watered it. I spoke with them to come fix the problem and they said they would have a manager come to go over a plan for my grass. 2 months and the manager never came but they serviced my grass again without knowing what they were suppose to do. I cancelled the service and they said that a manager would contact me again and try to resolve the issue again. Ya I didn t think they would. Again I never heard from them. But why would I? I already cancelled and I m not their problem anymore. If you have St Augustines grass I would recommend doing it yourself. Waste of money to have them spend 5 minutes every other month.

Pre paid for a service and ended up with a burnt yard. Lack of communication from the manager on the situation, called for two days straight before I got a call from the operations manager telling me that my irrigation system was the issue not the service that they were providing re advised that my lawn needed to be watered for 20 minutes for the fertilizer to properly work. I have a crew coming in to completely redo my front yard because of how bad it got. This mistake on their part is going to cost over 700 dollars to fix I would advise that you stay away from them and not let trugreen touch your yard. We will be suing for damages on this matter.

My lawn seems to being better since I switched to TruGreen last year. I really appreciate the call I receive letting me know when my lawn will be treated. Both of my specialist have been very professional and shared information with me on the condition of my lawn and plants.

I have been using TruGreen for 3 years now, and they have been courteous and professional.

We received numerous calls from the riverside office to aquire us for a customer. After our first service we have made numerous attempts to contact them. Today our Gardner told us that there was nothing professional about the job they did our lawn is burnt and we still have all the weeds.

All we want is a call back to resolve the issue. Burnt Lawn and still have weeds. Please call us back.

They sell you this lie that you will have a PGA Golf Tour quality lawn. After a few years, I finally gave up. All they really do is spread the lawn granules that youd buy from Home Depot or Wal Mart, and they spray weed killer. Then, for an additional charge, they rush through and aerate/seed your lawn in the fall. What they dont tell you is that they cant take care of your lawn if you have an imposing grass. You can call and complain repeatedly and get a different answer every other time, but in the end, they wont kill the yucky ugly grass. I finally got the truth from a manager who came out and told me that they wont address the garbage grass-theyll only seed and hope the desirable grass comes in and fills in the other grass holes. I wouldnt recommend this company unless you just want to spend $450/year for weed and feed. I never had my lawn looking any better then I could have with my own annual/seasonal treatment, but Im out over $1,000!

TruGreen provides an excellent service. They are professionals who know their craft. Great customer service, great service overall. If someone is looking for a service to protect their lawn, I recommend TruGreen.

I very much appreciate this personal touch.
