We inherited a bit of a jungle and were referred to Twelve Oaks after about 5 years at our home without any maintenance. I appreciated the visit and walkthrough prior to quoting, complete with some well thought out recommendations going forward to plan the next 3-5 years. Zack and Justin came and provided great care and service. A full hard days work included great clean up and a number of logs put aside for my fireplace. Reasonable prices and will call on them again.

Wes and his entire team of arborists are EXCEPTIONAL!! I can not say enough good things about them. When we met Wes, he listened attentively to our needs and offered very sound advice. On the day of service the entire team was prompt and ready to work, even though it must have been the hottest day of the year. The team of workers are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, and they work safely and carefully. I had an absolute jungle of fruit trees that needed to be aggressively pruned and they knew exactly what to do. Trees that were diseased and needed removal were professionally cut and the stumps were ground down. Kind, polite, eager to work, exceptional clean-up....it just can not get better than that. This is the second experience I have had with Twelve Oaks. A few years ago Wes and his sons came over to help with some Dead Wood on my property. We have a massive OLD Silver Maple and Wes climbed that tree and spent about 2 hours in it making it safe. 5 years later......his sons and their team came back to help once again. Several large dead wood branches (LOGS in the air) hung over both my yard and my neighbors. We have little kids playing out there all the time. This was understood by the crew and they spent the time needed to work up the plan and then they got to work. There were four crew members this time around and the sons were the ones up in the tree. Not only was the work done in a timely manner, but it was also done with safety from the start to the end. The right crew with the right tools and they took the time to ensure their plan of attack was safe and they executed it to perfection. They left the property cleaner than it was when they arrived. They took the time to talk with me about the health of the tree and what to look for should I need more work done. They could have taken advantage of my lack of understanding on tree safety and asked for more money and trimmed more than what was needed. I feel confident that my yard is now safe and that I was treated with respect and given a proper education on the importance of tree health management. Thanks lads! You are tops in my books! After the storm on the Victoria Day weekend, one of our trees was blown down and resting on our fence, bending it over. I phoned them on Sunday and they said they would get back in a couple of days to give a quote. Today (Tuesday) I got a call to say they were coming to look at the tree, within an hour, they had come, given a good quote which I accepted and by the time I got home from the doctor s appointment they had been, cut down the tree and cleaned everything up. Great work I would definitely recommend them every time.

My Silver Maple had a bad split from the strong winds of last week. Called Twelve Oaks and the team came the next day. The split was efficiently trimmed with nary any debris over to the neighbors. This company is one of the best! I have used their services several times because my tall pines are being killed off year by year by a fungus. I have been looking for a company to help remove a Blue Spruce pine tree that was growing out of a ledge in my backyard as well as trimming a neighbors mulberry tree that has grown past my roof. They were very efficient and patiently listened to my problem, Wes came over to take a look and immediately provided a solution and a quote that was extremely competitive. Zach and a team mate recently came by and did a fantastic job pruning our mature Red Oak. They took out all the dead wood, and did a perfect trim. They were friendly, professional, trimmed exactly as we wanted, and cleaned up the yard afterwards. We will absolutely use them again in the future.

Twelve Oaks took care of a large tree that fell into our Richmond Hill property during a storm. During consultation they also pointed out two other dead trees that posed a danger, and we were able to book the removal of all three on the same day, at a fair price. I was looking for an experienced arborist for some tree removal and pruning done . After meeting a number of Arborists and receiving multiple quotes, I ended up choosing Twelve Oaks Tree Service. I decided to go with Twelve Oaks because of Wes. Everyone else was all about the price and playing up how much work is needed etc. The typical sales pitch with inflated prices. Wes was never like that at all. From our initial call to our onsite visit, he was absolutely so professional, polite, and honest. Wes was the only one who took the time to educate me around the work needed. Wes and his team completed the work in a timely fashion, and made sure the area was all cleaned up before they left. Excellent personnel---The removal of tall trees in a tricky, mature and perennial Garden, was done with extreme care and with-out damage-all debris removed and I was 100+% Happy. The pine tree pruning was done with such care and I was so surprised how well everything turned out. The Team was terrific and I would absolutely refer them to anyone and all.

The guys who showed up to remove my tree were amazing. Quick work, conscious about my neighbours property, cleaned the area fully when they were done. I used Twelve Oaks for the entire process as I was not interested in speaking with someone at City Hall since they care more about trees than people. Massive Fir Tree Removal. Look no further than Wes and the crew at 12 Oaks for your arborist needs. During the 2018 windstorm, a 150+ ft. fir tree came down on our house, smashing through the roof. We called four arborists and three of them hemmed and hawed about how to get the tree down and quoted me prices over 4K because they needed a special large crane. They said it would take 4-6 hours. Wes was the one who clearly knew exactly how to get the tree down and got right to work. He did not need a crane. It took him 2 hours. This guy must have been born at the top of a Redwood tree or something! The way he took the tree down was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen. Wes and his guys are more than arborists, they are straight up tree whisperers. They seem to love their work, and take pride in and understanding of their extremely important job during a natural disaster like a windstorm. I hope I never need an arborist again, but if I do, Wes is now on my speed dial.

We had a 90 year old Norway Maple (so large it looked like an elephant upside down) that was damaged in the wind storm. We needed to have it removed and the stump removed. Wes and his team came when promised, did a tremendous job and cleaned up afterwards ( some 22 wheel barrel of chips just from the stump) and did so for the estaimated price they provided before the work was done. Just a note, I got three estimates and Wes and his team were the least expensive. I was truly amazed with the commitment to service, keeping us informed and asking permission to extend the removal of the stump due to the emergencies all over the city after the wind storm. If you need a reputable tree service company, I highly recommend Twelve Oaks. I needed a tree service company to: 1) remove a large trunk limb on the Mulberry tree in our backyard that was pressing against our neighbour s garage, 2) reduce the length of another trunk that extended into our neighbour s backyard, 3) thin out the overall tree canopy and 4) remove branches from our neighbour s Chinese Elm tree that hung over our deck. I have very high standards, but Wes Franklin (owner) and his crew exceeded my expectations. They were friendly and professional. Wes consulted with me and made suggestions about specific branches to be pruned and provided explanations for their removal. Zak and Dennis worked with Wes on his crew and they were vigilant about ensuring that my property, the neighbour s property and the street and sidewalk were clear of debris. In fact, the properties looked better when they left than when they first arrived. Zak also removed a few lower branches on our tree in the front yard at no extra charge. The fee for this long day of work was very reasonable. I will be calling them again for the next pruning!

Wes responded promptly to my request for an estimate to fully prune a mature Norway maple and remove several problem trees from my back yard. Their quote on the work was by far the most reasonable of the quotes I got. As I watched them work, it was quickly apparent that they were not only very skilled at their jobs, but also very careful to avoid any damage to the grounds or adjoining structures. The job was completed on time and on budget. The post-job cleanup was very thorough. I was most impressed by their professionalism and their great customer service. Highly recommended!
