Shane removed 2 trees in our backyard. He removed them within days of contacting him. All the staff were friendly, efficient, respectful and professional. They were careful not to cause damage and they did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. His estimate was on par with other companies. Five Star Tree Care & Maintenance This company i had cut down a tree in my backyard. When i called , Shane came down to look at it and gave me a price the same day. The whole job from start to finish was done by 3 men in a one day and the job they had done was professional . They definitely knew what they were doing and the cleanup after was also done well. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone I know that needed tree work done. Many thanks to Shane and the men that work for him.

I found Five Star on Google and hired them due to the excellent reviews. Shane, the owner, visited and gave me advice and a quote that was fair. I do my own gardening but it’s too much work to cut and dispose of so many branches. The on-site team came with a chipper and a bin. They attended to all the trees on our property. They cleaned up everything. I’m very pleased with the services. I’d use them again.
Warning. Do not use this company as they are rip off artists. They were supposed to take down my tree due to damage caused by the neighbour. Instead of taking the whole tree down, the left a third of the tree intact (see pic). They said they would only take down the remaining third of the tree if I would agree to take down my fence to make their job easier. I refused to take down my fence because I never received written confirmation that the fence would be replaced

Five Star Tree Services Inc. is a super professional company where you receive extraordinary services quickly. We have utilized them twice so far and for sure if need be for any tree or landscaping services, we will call them. As a result of wind this week, we had a tree fallen in our backyard and fence and also part of the tree was in our neighbors backyard. We called Shahram and his team immediately resolved the issue. A giant thank you to Shane and his team. They were great from beginning to end, and it wasnt an easy job. A mature tree, growing over two houses, and in need of trimming to prevent damage to both roofs. Successfully completed, without any damage to property and left everything tidy. I would definitely recommend with confidence.

I had to remove three dead trees from my backyard. One of them was a large tree of heaven on the property line. We had more than 10 professional companies onsite and most of them rejected the job because of its complexity (large dead tree, narrow lot, very close to two properties). Five Star Tree Services team not only accepted the challenge but also gave the best price by a wide margin. Shane consulted me professionally with all the steps to get an arborist report and getting necessary permit exemptions from the city. On the day of removal, he deployed 4 other team members to take care of tree cutting and wood removal, which all happened in one day. Specifically, his main climber Seth was a super star (professional, polite and capable) who performed the job with absolutely no damage to the our properties. A true master of his trade. All the neighbors were happy and relieved as a result of the great work that Five Star Tree Services team did for us. I highly recommend Shane and his team.

I reached out to Shane at Five Star after speaking with a competitor who quoted me for a tree removal job at a rate that seemed unreasonable to me. Shane was able to visit my property within perhaps an hour of our phone call and provide me a quote on site that was a fraction of what the prior company and a third company quoted me. Shane s team of four worked professionally for two hours to remove two dead trees one of which was fractured and tangled in a healthy tree and their work saw that the healthy tree was preserved my property wasn t damaged and my fence was preserved and the nearby powerline that I would ve been liable for if any damage occurred was protected as well. This wasn t a quick or simple job nevertheless Shane and his team were able to provide great value and service and I look forward to working with them again and referring them to my personal network in the meantime.

My front yard tree was in need for a good trim... big branches over the garage and house etc. 4 people showed up in the morning. They discussed with me in details what is required, what can be done, and by noon the tree was very well trimmed and the driveway was clean. The company did a professional job for a fair price. The service was excellent. Job started on time and finished without any break or interruption. I had two trees to be trimmed and 4 people were working on both trees. Clean up after the job was great and nothing left for us to clean.

The greatest and most organized crew I ve ever seen. This was a pruning job for a large 50 foot tree. The crew was on time and very open to discussion about the best options for the tree. One of the guys was certified as a tree health and protection specialist and very patient in walking me through all current and potential issues with the trees in my yard.
