Weed Man Lawn Care in Richmond Hill

My lawn was dying from over cutting by a previous lawn company. I have had Weed Man since March 2023 and it is now August 2023 and my lawn is lush, full and healthy! I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend!

So we live in Richmond Hill, Ga. New home purchased during the COVID buying boom. This is our family’s first home and as new home owners we really wanted to do things the right way to include hiring a professional lawn nourishment company. After some research I went with a local-ish company. They spoke with me on the phone and provided assurance that if I gave them a year, they’d have my lawn enviable. They came monthly and left leaflets as yo what they did and what to expect. The normal warnings to stay off the grass for 24 hours…real professional. As time move onward, some of my experienced neighbors began doing their own lawn nourishing and their lawns looked great. Ours was still a work in progress and by comparison, did not stand up next to neighbors simply doing it themselves.y neighbor across the street say the guy coming out in his fancy spreader machine and enlisted the Weed Man’s services as well. Well, fast forward a year and a half, my lawn is awful looking. And my neighbors across the street looks even worse. My neighbor on the corner hired them for a limited time but his exact words were, “I still have weeds frequently popping up so why would I keep paying them?!”. Needless to say I called to have the service cancelled in about a year I got he service. I was deployed and told them my wife said our grass was ‘the worse looking’. They came out and explained to give them more time. Ultimately, a lot of money paid out, no desired outcome and an extreme lack of accountability. When I asked to cancel service the 2nd time, that small company, warm feel all but vanished as. They coldly answered ‘ok’. No real conversations came about regarding why we decided to discontinue service. Note the photos below are specifically taken from areas originally with full grass. This is the result from 1.5 years with weedman. Oh, last thing, they use this machine similar to a riding lawnmower to spread the chemicals. It stains fences, the machine is heavy and ruts out soft areas and lastly it transfer weeds from other lawns into yours. You’ve been warned.

I used TrueGreen for several years and finally realized my lawn was getting worse early this year, never better. More weeds than ever and brown spots everywhere. I decided to try Weed Man and within the second treatment I could see a HUGE difference. The weeds are all dead, the grass is healthy and creeping more than it ever has and I am super impressed. Same price, so glad I switched. I am a really happy customer.

I used the form on their website to cancel their service. They then performed it anyway, claimed they never received the cancellation, and continue to bill me after repeated calls. I;m not sure whether they are just incompetent or just greedy thieves.
