Our lawn was the victim of moles, essentially eating 60% of our back yard and 35% of the front. We go to great lengths to ensure our lawn is in perfect condition, so you can imagine our horror when the snow melted, and exposed all the bare spots. Call to Val, he showed up the next day, a few quick measurements and we were ready to go. Team showed up on time, did a fantastic job of removing the old, torn up sod and placed the new sod. This included trimming around the extensive plants, shrubs and gardens we have in our yard. Work was completed in a day, amazing job, and they blended the new grass seamlessly with the old. The entire backyard was redone, and approx 40% of the front, but you could barely tell where the joins were. Great crew, friendly, fast, efficient. Very highly recommended, great communication throughout, including calls from the office staff. thanks Val, Mor and team !

We hired Val and his team to lay down fresh sod in our backyard equipped with a sprinkler system, and to put down tiles for a hot tub. He also coordinated all the electrical for the hot tub. He did an all service package and coordinated between subcontractors. He finished the job ahead of schedule and was always easy to get ahold of. When the hot tub arrived, we realized we hadn t laid the electrical in exactly the right way to connect it, but Val gave me confidence that we could pivot to a different method and he prepared it without any doubt. I was very happy with JHC and highly recommend them for anyone doing landscaping - especially if you re doing a complicated job requiring landscaping, electrical, etc and you would rather deal with one contact instead of coordinating between different subcontractors.

Val and team did an absolutely amazing job in our backyard! The team was skilled, efficient, punctual, respectful, and had incredible attention to detail. The project included the creation of a large patio with interlocking, new sod and sprinkler system, several trees, and even a custom-built set of stone stairs to the backyard. Everything was done on time and on budget and I appreciate the team s expertise, responsiveness, and feedback throughout. My family and I look forward to starting the spring season in our new back yard, and we look forward to the next project with JHC!

Had a big bare gap at the back of our yard. Called JHC a few months ago and Val came by and made some recommendations which we went with. Now that the weather has started warming up, theyve planted the trees this week and we couldnt be happier. Very quick and thorough job and all evidence of a mess cleaned up. JHC did a great job in sodding our fairly large backyard. I was quoted a very fair price and they called me with a couple days notice to book installation. Val and his crew showed up in the morning and they just dug in and got the very heavy bad weeds and terrible soil out and then levelled, packed and laid the sod. They told me how they would do it in advance and followed what they said they would do. Cant believe that they did the whole job in about 5 hours. Val gave me watering advice and also gave me advice on keeping raccoons away from new sod. Very helpful and friendly service. Highly recommended in my opinion.

I hired JHC Landscaping to do my front & backyards Sodding . When we bought the house there were lots of weeds and not clean green grass. We wanted to make sure our grass is greener than our neighbors :). A professional team managed by Val came and tackled the yards right away. From start to finish they took 2 days. I recently hired JHC to landscape my backyard and build an area for my kids trampoline. They responded immediately to my initial inquiry via phone and came by within a day to see the project and provide a quote which was very reasonable. Prior to the project commencing, the owner was in constant contact to provide an update on timing and once a date was confirmed I was notified. The work that was done was excellent and the crew was very easy to deal with and friendly. They cleaned up well afterwards too. Most importantly, the yard looks fantastic! I couldn t be happier!

We found JHC Landscaping while walking the dog the in the neighbourhood. They were contracted to do many jobs on a street so we decided to give them a call for a quote. Had a great experience with JHC Landscaping who re-sodded my lawn in the early spring. Val was responsive to my initial inquiry and even came out to look at my lawn in person (other landscapers could not be bothered) to firm up a quote. His price was very competitive and was able to do the work sooner than expected. Within a few hours of his crew arriving, I had a new lawn to enjoy! They worked very diligently and fully cleaned up after. Val walked me through lawn care instructions and a couple months later, my lawn is thriving and I can enjoy looking at my backyard every day.
