I started out not liking their ways but after contacting Patricia at corporate office and her getting into action their service has been fine. The tech that was finally sent out knew what he was doing. Yep John Hall did well. YOU CAN NOT GIVE IMMEDIATE REVIEWS UNTIL THE FAT LADY SINGS. EVERYONE IS ASKING FOR IMMEDIATE REVIEWS WHEN THAT IS REALLY IMPOSSIBLE. GOT TO LET IT SOAK IN FIRST.

Technician was courteous and through. Notified me on arrival and departure. Ask if I had any Specific needs. Did a Masterful job taking care of my lawn. I d like o have Brishyde Doddy do my lawn every time TruGreen gives me service.

True Green has made our yard beautiful again. Weeds are less and less each season and the bare spots are all filled in.

Rating: EDIT: did receive a message which I appreciate. But it took this kind of escalation in order to hold Truegreen accountable. That s terrible. It s resolved now. If you re considering TruGreen, record everything calls, emails, even the technicians at your property. They claimed to provide full service but I had to produce a video to show them they didn t, and promises of credits and follow-ups were repeatedly broken. I am essentially the only quality assurance resource that they have apparently. Wouldn t recommend. #DisappointingService #AccountabilityMatters

Beautiful looking yard. Still battle with weeds popping up on occasions. Wish the techs could spend a little more time doing the treatment and not rush to get it completed. Been using TruGreen off and on since 1993 with two different properties, and same story. Called in before and the management person put in the notes to allow more time at my property. I guess the techs have to complete within a certain amount of time to keep their jobs. Corporate thing I m sure.

Reggie was excellent. He explained in detail what he was doing.

Aeration was done in satisfactory fashion but sprinkler system (disclosed at sign-up) may have been affected/damaged, don t know how to proceed. Also, no clean up was done after the aeration. A lot of grass clumps and clippings were left behind. Is this normal?

I have TruGreen for a purpose to keep my yard healthy. There is so much of the sod dead in the backyard. Very disappointing.

The most obvious attribute of the service is the color- a nice green in the spring and summer. It has a cushion in the fall and winter. Weed control is a key element of this. Thanks Matt!

We hired Trugreen to care for our yard three months ago. The persons they use to fertilize and treat our yards for weeds were terrible. As a result, our yard still looks awful. The young man was skipping huge areas of the yard. I went out and told him to fix the problem. When he left, he still hadn t fertilized that part of the yard. Disappointed former customer.

I have committed to a years worth of weed/lawn services with TruGreen. I like the app, notes left, that they were on time and don t require anyone to be home. **Update After 1 year of service** I typically was not home when they come service the lawn, but I do review the visits on my home camera system. Once they knock and establish I m not home, they are on property for just a few minutes- completely ignoring my side yards. It s like a race to see how fast they can get in and back out. Appears to be a business model for them as this was the case throughout an entire year- ten visits- involving different technicians. After the year and comparing photos, there was no improvement in my yard appearance. Terminating the contract requires a phone call to them and I had a pleasant talk with the woman who answered. I emphasized why I was not interested in continuing service and specifically requested not to be contacted ever again by TruGreen. Despite the request, my phone almost immediately began blowing up with phone calls from TruGreen. Daily. For months. The numbers are randomized so as to defeat blocking. Never again.

The technicians that have come out to treat our lawn have always been very respectful and listen to us about the lawn issues weve had. Since they have been treating the lawn, our lawn has become the showstopper of the neighborhood! Not a weed in sight and they have worked diligently to eradicate any grassy weeds, which are much tougher to eliminate. But they are making great progress and we are down to a precious few now.

Signed up for Truegreen to service our yard. The tech showed up and rang my doorbell. Before I could find my shoes, he was gone. He left a note stating that he had completed the treatment. How do you treat close to 1/2 acre in less than 6 minutes? Answer is you cant. I chatted with Trugreen about it and they confirmed that the yard could not have been treated properly in that amount of time. I immediately cancelled the service since I cant trust that they are going to properly care for the yard. Please be careful before highering this company.

I see multiple complaints similar to mine at the same time they are certain specialists who do a great job and they talk with client. Looking at the roller coaster of reviews I suspect there may be some less-than-enthusiastic (as well as plain courtesy knowledge-deficient) appliers because I have no idea how knowledgeable or pleasant they might have been.Definitely not professional. They called me and arranged for a free/additional treatment. Kevin P came out, spoke with me, told me assessment and plan, very pleasant and knowledgeable. Asked me if I had questions and left me ticket in door with complete summary. Now thats professionalism. Thank you TruGreen for sending out Kevin P!!!!!!!

Great service to my lawn, it looks much healthier even after just one application of fertilizer. Very friendly customer service. I forgot to unlock my gate and they helped me reschedule within the same week for a free service to treat my back lawn, so that it would be on the same weekly schedule as my front lawn.

I have the lawn service and the mosquito and Air Defense Services. My lawn is always the most beautiful in my neighborhood. This year I have had some issues with my Saint Augustine grass. TruGreen has come out multiple times and provided some free services to help my lawn recover. Jaxson is my Mosquito and Air Defense guy and he goes out of his way to accommodate my requests in treating my yard and even gives me a courtesy call to make sure there is nothing additional he needs to focus on. I have used TruGreen service for over 10 years and have been treated very well as their customer.

The service technician spent five minutes to apply the treatment on a half acre of lawn, applying the treatment to adjust the ph level of the soil. He missed the middle of the front lawn, the entire side of the yard and probably got more of the application on the front and back cement porch. He was on his phone while doing so.

Unfulfilled promises, shoddy work, halfhearted make goods. Weeds and crabgrass have fared better than Bermuda. UPDATE: 15 months in and my Bermuda has been fried while crabgrass thrives. More empty promises, horrible communication and terrible results. I should ve done it myself if I had time.

Dont waste your money and just do it yourself. I had my whole yard scraped and re-soded. I hired trugreen once it was rooted so I wouldnt have to work on it and it would look nice.. I have so much crabgrass after only a few months its ridiculous. When I complained they simply just moved up my next treatment.. so their guarantee really just means they will do one of the 8 treatments sooner and then your contract ends earlier not really a guarantee at all since I paid for those treatments already.

Marquis did a great job on a reservicing our mosquito service that wasnt done completely the first time. He was thorough and efficient.

Lacking information about treatments and talking to a live person never happened. Asked for a call back but never occurred. Otherwise the yard got treated for the first time. The second treatment was done today with the guy letting me know he was there and what he was going to do. All was fine.

TruGreen field supervisor came to appraise our lawn that is continually declining and have been with TruGreen for several years. It s getting worse not better with their service. He said the soil ph is too high so treat the bare spots with peat moss and aerate to loosen soil allowing nutrients to penetrate. He stated that this will take all season to get the bare spots growing again. This all made sense but time will tell if this brings our lawn back to what it used to be.

The most awful and corrupt company I have ever worked with. I will never EVER work with them again. First they come to my door and say we can give you basic service for 30 dollars then it will be 60 a month after. I said that was fine. Then when the second comes I am charged almost 200 dollars. I called to cancel my service and requested a refund. They told me they would call me back 3 times to try to keep my service. Then I had to battle customer services to get my refund after days and days of telling them I don t want to continue service. Stay far away from trugreen. They are a nightmare to deal with if they charge you incorrectly.

We have used TruGreen for over 20 years in the southwest part of Fort Worth and were pleased with the service provided as our lawn looked green, beautiful and healthy. But since we have moved to a new home in west Fort Worth we have never seen such horrible service or no service from TruGreen! We are lied to with every service that they happily charge us for. We literally have caught them on video servicing only part of the lawn. Sometimes they don t do the back yard at all or if they do, they will only do half of it. And they literally have no shame in it at all. They do this every time and continue to charge us full price while our lawn looks unhealthy and full of weeds. I truly do not understand how people can do business like this and have absolutely no remorse for taking advantage of customers like this. The worst part is we can t get anyone on the phone, want to be reimbursed or desperately want to drop them for good but we can t. Sadly disappointed after being a loyal customer for so many years.

I request a phone call or email the day before they arrive so that I can flag the weeds for them - yet no phone call or email. Everytime I call the local office, I get transferred to the Philippians, or some country in Europe - terrible service. Do not go with the Fort Worth Texas office in North Richland Hills. Nothing went right for me in 2023.

What a useless company. How are they still in business? Sent out marketing trash to a woman that has been DEAD for 30 plus years that never lived at that address. Where would you buy this kind of marketing list and what kind of idiot would buy this list? Trugreen is the idiot that would buy this list. Do not use as this company is incompetent.

Customer service really really lacks time after time. Also, I don t get why I keep paying. I have seen no progress but I m hopeful.

Carlo added the right amount of fertilizer and weed killer over my entire yard. I am very pleased with his services.

I m glad Lorenzo is back servicing my Lawn. Last summer he was moved to a different route and my front lawn totally died. I had the most beautiful lawn in two blocks. My neighbors and I think it may have been over fertilized. I was watering three times a week when it was so hot and the water restrictions started and I had to go to two times a week. So lack of water is out of the question. The rest of my lawn done well. Praying Lorenzo is able to bring my lawn back to its original beauty

We are happy with our service. BUT we wish that system is more accurate of when a technician will be here. Today the text said they will be there soon so our dogs were locked in at 1:22. They did not arrive til 3:10.
