We had a tree from the woods behind our house fall onto our deck. It was still hanging from vines and partially attached to the remaining trunk. It seemed like a dangerous or at least very precarious situation. David responded quickly to a request for quote via text message and was out with his crew within an hour of us approving the work. They were professional in every regard, fast and efficient, and did a great job cleaning up all the debris from our deck. Would definitely use again.

I had David and his crew from Bluegrass in central Ohio come out a few weeks back to take a tree down for me. They came out the same day we called them, worked together like a well-oiled machine, got the tree on the ground, and even tidied up the brush to make it easier for me to haul it away, all at an extremely reasonable price. Bluegrass Tree & Lawn responded to a request for an estimate for a large tree removal, small tree removal, stump grinding and brush pick up very promptly. Their estimate was very reasonable and lower than other estimates I received. On the day of the tree removals, they completed the project very promptly. They did a fantastic job and I am very happy with the result. I would use them again for future projects.

I had a great experience working with David at Bluegrass Tree and Lawn. I initially contacted his company for a quote to cut down a tree and grind the stump. Once we agreed upon the price we had scheduled a date. That date ended up getting rescheduled due to weather. David did a great job communicating with me as I was not at home while the job was being done. I am absolutely happy with the job that was done and the clean up afterwards. I inquired Bluegrass Tree & Lawn about a medium sized maple tree that needed to come down. David got back to me very fast with a quote. Quote was very very fair for the work that needed to be done and included stump grinding. There lead time was only a week as well. They had another cancellation and came sooner! David reached out to ensure they could come earlier which was nice given I had work that needed to be done prior to their start. I would like to mention lead times for others was over 4 weeks out and was to only cut the tree and another team would be out 2 weeks later to grind. Bluegrass showed up with all their equipment and finished the job in less than 2.5 hours!!! The crew was very well organized and knew what each other were tasked with doing. When it came to stump grinding they put out a wood screen to protect the house and contain the mess. They clean up all debris. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have work done.

I had a tornado go through my property which tore out about 16 trees I called Bluegrass tree and Lawn Service and they were on time and did exactly what they said they would do the price to remove my trees and clean my yard was very doable and their crew was courteous and polite they all did a good job I probably underpaid them a little bit but hopefully well do more business in the future would like to have a pond installed but would definitely use them again. My wife and I just purchased a house with two very large silver maple trees right next to the house. These things were massive with branches the size of regular trees hanging over the roof. I hate the idea of cutting down living trees but these things were a potential danger to our family, so they had to go. I called around and got estimates from approximately 5 tree companies and Bluegrass had the cheapest estimate of all of them. Despite the cheaper price, there was no lack of professionalism. David was great at communicating throughout the entire process. He was even updating me on the weather forecast and working with me to come up with a backup plan if it were to rain on our scheduled date. They used a crane truck to lift large pieces of tree over the house to cut them up and haul them out of there. Despite the complexity of the job, it never felt as if our house was in danger during this process and we felt safe inside of it. The trees were completely removed and the stumps and roots were grinded out. It s like the trees were never there. I feel much better knowing that a storm isn t going to cause an enormous branch to fall on our house this spring. I d definitely use them for tree services again if needed.

I d absolutely recommend these guys for tree removal. Professional, quick, price competitive. My tree was 70 tall, and 20 away from 2 different houses. They dropped it with pulleys and a wench, controlled drops, no damage. Quick as hell. I m thrilled.

It is a shame that we can only give 5 stars, because this Veteran owned company deserves 100. We had a tree that come down in April. It was a miracle it only scraped the side of the house. This was a warning sign for us that the other 4 trees had to come down. Their sizes ranged from 80 to 100. The tall trees added to the ambience of our property, but sadly they had to go. We looked up Blue Grass Tree and Lawn. David came out and told us about the trees, i.e., the type of pine and the make-up of the tree. We found him to be very knowledgeable. Anyway, we agreed to hire them, and we were not disappointed. They were very organized and methodical in their plan on bringing down these trees. This crew completed an honest days work under difficult conditions. They were very respectful w/ the property, and the clean-up process was impeccable. We believe they went above and beyond the call of duty. They did such a phenomenal job; you cant tell there were any trees there. If you are looking for a tree service, make this your first and last choice. I would highly recommend! We will definitely use them again.

Hired Blue Grass to take down a large tree in my backyard. They gave me a great estimate, and it was spot on with what they charged. The team showed up when they scheduled, and got the tree taken down very quickly. They ground the stump and hauled everything away. We called Bluegrass T&L after having a large branch break off in a storm. I ended up asking them to trim some other trees when they came. I knew exactly what was included in the quote, they showed up when they said they would, and they checked in as they went. Everything went smoothly and our trees look great!

I was totally satisfied and pleased at the excellent job Bluegrass Tree & Lawn did in the removal of two huge pine trees next to my condo patio. The roots were raised and very hazardous for tripping and began going under the patio and eventually towards the foundation. The work, including stumping and debris removal, was done in a day! The crew worked tirelessly the entire day. There was great communication from the owner throughout the process both before and after the job. I 100% recommend this company! We had a very old, large tree right beside the house that Bluegrass removed for us. They did an amazing job! No damage at all to the house, roof, or our deck, which was right next to the tree. They completely cleaned up all the little tiny sticks and even the leaves. Were having them come back and trim and prune some other trees. Very nice and respectful. Highly recommend.

Very positive experience working with David of Bluegrass Tree and Lawn. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, responsive and honest. I was very nervous about getting our large silver maple removed due to its proximity to our house, but David and his crew took such care and worked very methodically and efficiently to take down the tree without any damage. Once the job was completed, you couldn t even tell a tree had been removed other than the wood chipping from the stump grinding. All leaves, sticks, etc. were cleaned up and they even swept our street to ensure cleanliness. I would recommend David and Bluegrass Tree and Lawn for anyone looking for tree removal for sure!

Great experience with Bluegrass. We had a tree branch snap and it was dangling over our neighbors yard. David and his crew came out and removed the branch, as well as trimmed three trees total that were in desperate need of trimming. He stayed in communication with me through the whole process, and explained all the work they did as well as recommendations for the next trimmings we might need in the future. His concern for keeping the trees heathy was apparent, which I really appreciated. Overall, great experience with knowledgeable people and a reasonable price.
