My experience with Uyeta and their team was deeply disappointing and concerning. Their unprofessionalism was evident from the start, with poor communication and delayed responses leaving me frustrated and uncertain about the progress of the project. Not only did they go over budget, but they also completely ruined my neighbors landscape. The supervision was shockingly subpar, with the final result falling far short of the agreed-upon design. The project dragged on for MUCH longer than promised. To top it off, the final invoice was significantly higher than the initial quote, with questionable additional charges. Overall, I regret hiring Uyeta and would caution others against doing the same!!

We had extensive work done by Uyeta about a year ago. They did our backyard and it turned out very lovely! We had raised paved garden beds put in , patio, sprinkler system, lights, and shrubs, trees and pathways. A few things came up with this much work and they were very amicable to work with. I feel like they were very professional and really love how my yard looks. We get alot of compliments on it!

Eric came out on April 18th, 2023 to give us a bid for re-landscaping our front and back yards. He had great ideas, Uyeta is only a couple blocks from us and has been in business a long time, so we were pretty sure we would be hiring them. Eric said he would be out the next day to take measurements and have a bid to us the following week. Didnt hear back that week, so my wife called to ask what happened. Eric said hed have the bid in a couple days. Nothing. This pattern repeated itself a couple more times. He finally showed up unannounced on Friday May 12th and said he had sent someone to take measurements, but he didnt think they were correct. We have security cameras, so we dont think anyone came out to take measurements. He told us this was his top priority for the day and would have a bid by May 13th. It is now May 18th and weve heard nothing. So, now we go back to the other contractors who gave us bids and they are all swamped, and cant get to us for a couple months! So, because we waited four plus weeks for a bid we never got, we wont get this project done until at least the middle of summer! This is a pretty expensive project that they walked away from for no apparent reason! Very frustrating!

Residential did an awful job, I tried scheduling with Eddie Eyutas team but was met with silence and anger. The price at which I am paying is not acceptable for the terrible chopped work on my residence and I will be looking at other companies Immediately. I also heard this company was exploiting illegal immigrant workers which is disgusting to say the least. Shame on you Uyeta landscaping.

I had a rather large patio replacement and new retaining wall put in my backyard. Uyeta promptly returned my call for a quote, provided a clear quote with optional line items that I requested, delivered the project on time and the quality is excellent. Highly recommend.

We had Uyeta come and fix an issue another landscaper made in our back yard. Not only did they do what we asked, but they were so professional and it looks a hundred times better than it did before! I worked with Christian and he was delightful, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I look forward to working with them in the future!

Success at last! Uyeta Landscape volunteered to design and landscape around our Buddhist monastery in Queen Anne, Seattle. The front corner of the building is flanked by a huge Ponderosa pine tree under which nothing will grow and drops debris making the yard messy. The designer, Kennan, and the crew solved the problem by created a dry-creek bed of river stone that beautified the area instantly. They applied a deep brown shredded mulch that blends in with the pine needles and cones, bringing out the charm of the dry-creek and the architecture of the building. Not only was I impressed by the diligence and knowledge of the crew, but with their friendliness and ease in discussing the design and adjusting to the likes and dislikes of the residents: which plants to keep or to discard, how to care for the rose garden, and planting ground cover later. Loved the website. Dont even know why I went there but was surprised by how simple the site was and how much it kept me wanting more without making me want to close the window.

They called and set up the appointment to look at the property and discuss what we would like to have done. Said they would email with details and that was now three weeks ago and still nothing. Update, the email had gone to my junk folder. They sent it back in March :-/

I met with Laura and initially thought it was going to be great experience, but when I started asking about specifics she told me I should find someone else to work with. She wanted us to shell out $20k with no real idea what we were paying for. I asked to talk to her on the phone about it and she never responded. I wasted several weeks waiting for her to prepare a sketch which wasnt very detailed and then she dumps us like a hot potato leaving us with no one to work with at the height of the season when no one else is available. Very frustrating and now we cant find anyone who isnt booked. The companies she referred me to arent taking new clients or dont work in my area.

Just witnessed these guys run the most solid red light on 108th Ave. to save two seconds. They don t care about your safety just your money.

Antonio and Raul have been out twice over the last few months.They are simply amazing. They covered the scope of the projects such as pruning, removing debris, weeding, mulching and went beyond. We worked together to address the needs of the yard and plants. Gabriel and Oscar made very accurate quotes and payments were per project quote. Thank you so much to the whole Uyeta Team!

Weve used the Uyeta company for nearly 20 years at the Woodlake condominiums on Mercer Island. Eddie Uyeta came out several times to discuss issues with the property, and all the workers he sent out were gracious, polite, and hardworking. The quality of the work is excellent! Pricewise, I think they are probably comparable to many other landscaping services, but the quality of their work, their care to be on time, their hard work and friendliness makes them well worth it!

This is the 2nd time weve hired them to do some serious yard maintenance for us, and we could not be more pleased with their care for our plants as they do their work. They trimmed our boxwood and laurel hedges beautifully, thinned out a very large Rhodie, pruned our hydrangeas, weeded and fertilized, and then the cleanup was so good not a trace was left behind. Absolutely wonderful work, again!!!

My Mom lives next door to Uyeta landscape company in a senior living home. A member of the family that owns the home passed away due to complications from Covid 19. My mom and I decided to go to the landscape company to see if they could possibly sell us a plant/tree/bush in memory. We spoke to Christian, explained or dilemma of my mom not being able to shop around during this time. Christian said they didnt have much on hand being that they only ordered what was needed for jobs but was happy to show us what he had. His knowledge was vast and matched his kindness when he not only wouldnt take our money for a lovely Acuba plant but then also carried it back to my Moms for us. This kind act brought tears to my moms eyes and showed us a beautiful example of compassion and kindness during these difficult times. Thank you Uyeta and Christian!

This company was so wonderful. They were so informative and helpful while navigating a challenging backyard renovation. Even after deciding to do the work myself, Christian was so incredibly helpful, and even gave me advice moving forward by myself. If I change my mind I will absolutely choose them. A quality company such as them is very hard to come by.

I recently had some work done in my yard by Uyeta Landscaping. I needed 3 very overgrown Barberry Bushes trimmed and a lot of Ivy and blackberry cuttings from last year and this year that needed to be hauled away. The two guys that came to do the work were amazing. They worked so hard and had it all nicely taken care in a matter of 2 hours. They were very kind and considerate of my property and my neighbors . I had this useless part of my yard next to my driveway that would turn to mud, grass and weeds every year. For years I hated it. I called Uyeta Landscape and asked if they would be interested in transforming it into an extension of my driveway. Christian came to look at it and said we can do this. He set a work date and the excavation team showed up early and immediately went to work. I was surprised at how fast the operation went. Within a few days, all the dirt was removed, leveled, packed down, and ready for concrete. They called on Sierra Concrete to set the forms for a wall and prep the ground for new concrete. Christian told me that Sierra Concrete was a little higher in price than some other companies, but they do excellent work. He was right. The finished product is top notch and will last forever. No more maintenance! Thanks Dan Ramirez! All the workers involved were very friendly and easy to talk to. Every days work was cleaned up before they went home. Very professional. I know who Ill be calling on for any future projects. Thanks guys!

We have utilized Uyeta Landscape for the last few years and have been very pleased. Over the years theyve provided landscape design and installation as well as irrigation installation and maintenance, Their work is exceptional and priced fairly. Would recommend Christian and Team to anyone wanting a good landscape experience.

A bit pricey for the work performed. The thatching, aerating and cutting was thorough, the fertilizing, top dressing with sand/soil mix and overseeding was not nearly as thorough.

On a hot, sunny day in Seattle, my hopes of getting someone out to check a potential leak in my sprinkler system seemed impossible: every place I called was going to take weeks to get on the schedule. Enter Uyetas. From the front desk person that took my call to the field engineer that showed up just hours later (REPEAT: HOURS NOT WEEKS), every single step of my experience was like a cool drink on a hot day - so refreshing! I wanted to let you know how much I appreciated Christian for allowing me to walk him through our sprinkler issue on the phone while he was at our house. He was kind, helpful and a pleasure to talk with even though I had mixed up the date of the appointment. I will definitely pass along your companys name as a good source for any help with outdoor sprinkler systems and if I ever need any repairs for ours in the future.

Where to begin.....On June 25th we had our yard completely cleaned up, weeds pulled, and some of the hedges trees and bushes trimmed. When I asked that company to do maintenance they said that they only mow lawns and do clean ups. I reached out to several landscape companies but most were fly by night companies that I just didnt trust. I finally bit the bullet and hired Uyeta. Uyeta showed up on August 14th and charged me $900 to do another clean up. The contract said Provide all labor and equipment to perform front and back yard clean up. Prune shrubs as needed, clean beds of weeds, weed whack ditch by street, mow and edge lawn. When I got home I found that they had not pruned any shrubs so I called and Oscar said that my shrubs would take a long time to shape back into the way they should look. He said that each time they come out, they will prune them a little more and by next year they would look much better. I said fine. At some point I told him the service was expensive ($500/mo year round) so I expected my yard to look like a golf course. He agreed to reduce the bill to $500 (just to mow and edge my lawn and pull 6 weeks of weeds). They were scheduled to come back on August 26th. August 26th comes. Uyeta didnt show up or even call. I texted Oscar and he said that because I told him the service was expensive, he cancelled my contract. I told him that yes, it is expensive but I didnt want to cancel the contract. He told me the soonest they could come back was September 6th. I said fine. September 6th comes and Uyeta came, mowed the lawn, weed wacked the ditch bank. The contract I signed covered mowing, edging and blowing, lawn fertilizer, spring summer, and fall clean ups (charged extra for this to begin with), weed control in beds and turf (including manual removal and weed killer), and maintenance of the trees, shrubs, and hedges. Again I called Oscar and he said he told me it would take a year to reshape the bushes. I asked how long it would take to pull the weeds? Or to remove the dead limb from my tree. He said that they have many clients and he can only spend so much time on my property. There wasnt time to do anything besides mow and edge the lawn and ditch bank (which had just been done 3 weeks ago). I told him that I dont care how many clients he has, we have a contract and he was not doing what we agreed to. He started yelling at me saying that I dont pay him, he works for someone else (WTF?). I hung up. So I call the office and try to tell them what is going on and they just keep saying theyll have Oscar call me. I keep telling them that I dont want to work with him anymore because he s not even making sense. (i.e. he cant pull the weeds or fertilize the lawn because it will take a year to reshape the bushes?) I gave the company the option to think about how they want to deal with this and....guess what, the next day I get an email from Oscar saying that they are company with core values and that I should respect HIM!!!! This is after they breached the contract, refused to do as they promised, and then he started yelling at me. Now I have to hire a PROFESSIONAL landscaper who is going to charge me yet another clean up fee.

We are so pleased with the work the crew from Uyeta Landscape did for us, having transformed both our front and back yards. The entire staff was very professional and all the work was completed in a timely manner. We are especially appreciative of the work Janel and Christian performed on our behalf. Having worked with Janel in the past, we knew we could rely on her to get it right! She really listened to our ideas and allowed us to be involved in every aspect of the project, from the overall design to plant selection and placement to guidance for ongoing care. We truly appreciated Janel s excellent communication skills and prompt responses to our questions throughout the project. Christian s oversight of our project was invaluable, including his knowledge of all things landscape (from permits to irrigation systems to dealing with subcontractors and city inspectors.) Christian s make-it-happen approach kept our project moving along smoothly and on schedule. We are so looking forward to spending time in our new back yard. We contacted Uyeta for a small job correcting a gap issue that was worsened by replacing an old wood fence. They returned my call, which is more than I can say for most places when a small job is concerned. They gave us a quote, we sent in a deposit, and they got us on the schedule right away. We werent sure what to expect - it was just bringing in some rockery rock to cover/fill gaps and prevent dirt (and our nosey dog) from falling into our neighbors yard. When we woke up that morning, they were already nearly done! We were very pleased with the work, they took their time placing the rocks and spreading/filling with dirt. It looks like part of the original rock wall. And on top of it all, they said they will be issuing a refund since the job took less time and resources than anticipated. Quality work AND honest!

Everything went so smoothly! I called and was able quickly to scheduled an appointment to get a bid. I walked around with one of the employees who listened and asked questions. He made a few suggestions that were super helpful, and then I was given the bid before he even left. Once I decided to go with them, I called and was able to schedule a specific day for the landscaping. The crew arrived promptly at 6:50am for their 7am start time! For us they removed a large amount of debris, planted about 20 plants, completed extensive weeding, barked, and edged the grass. The work was completed quickly and efficiently and thoroughly. This company was so easy to work with and I would highly recommend them!

We engaged Uyeta to reimagine our yard, and create something that was both simple to maintain and a neat experience for ourselves and guests. We interviewed 3 firms - gotta say that Eddie and his team were head and shoulders above the others: personal, imaginative, clear and disciplined. and once we got to work, the whole design and installation experience was exceptional. Having done major landscape jobs 3X prior, working with Uyeta was 10x better - the team (across the board) has been fantastic, the work was both high quality and on schedule/budget, and they wowed us with innovative ideas. Great team. Hired them to do maintenance which has been equally great. I will reco them every time.

Simply put: As good as it gets. Uyeta landscape was helpful BEFORE the project started with superb advice and practical suggestions, they were great DURING the project with complete, timely, thorough work, and they were great AFTER completing the project by following up and making adjustments, though minor, that made a good project a great one. I recommend Uyeta Landscape to my friends and family both on and off the air.

From the time I placed my first call to Uyeta until the last piece of sod was laid, this has been an excellent experience with outstanding results. I am particularly impressed with the fact that you and your crew worked from an architects layout, overlaid with Kimberly s sketched and verbal changes, and managed to interpret everything to our great satisfaction. Kimberly and I appreciated your follow-up to our questions, your scheduling notices and the crew you sent out to do the work. Gabriel and David were outstanding in their execution of the verbal instructions and changes that we made. There attitude toward their work, combined with their friendliness made the many hours spent with them a delight. Please use our names as a reference anytime you like. I am an older, 71years citizen and have been using Uyetas for about 12 years... I like the fact that we do a walk about to decide what is needed and what can wait until later. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their business. I have used them for pruning both fruit trees and a variety of bushes. They have added mulch to my flower beds to reduce weeds and make the beds low maintenance. They offer a variety of services for the home owner. I have beed very pleased with the company and will continue to use them in the future.

The office and landscaping personnel at Uyeta Landscape, Design, and Maintenance are top notch. Prompt, well executed, and completely cleaned-up work makes Uyeta my go to yard maintenance team. All Uyeta personnel are friendly, professional, and know their stuff.

The field manager, Oscar, was prompt for our initial consultation. He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable about the plants / trees in my yard. He walked the entire property with me and provided a quote for planting bed clean-up, shrub/tree pruning/shaping and tree staking within 30 minutes of the consultation. Quotes for other services, including mulching and mowing, were provided as discussed within a few days. The crews did a fantastic job and the yard looks amazing. We will definitely use Uyeta Landscape for future projects.

Crew showed up on time and installed the path and stairs I requested. I liked the improvements they made and they worked with me so I could keep the price within my budget. If I had it to do over I would have worked with them to get all the path and stairs installed with pavers rather than partly with gravel which can be messy.

I want to write a review to warn people away from this company for any landscaping services. My experience is that they will give you a price to do a number of things, say 8 things, then they will do 3 of them and send you a bill for the entire price of what they said they would do the 8 things for. GET A DETAILED QUOTE FROM THEM IN WRITING. Also, like other reviewers, it is a smoke and mirrors game with them. They will just put compost over everything and say they cleaned and weeded your garden, but the compost settles and you then see the weeds and all of the other stuff they should have cleaned up. Sorry Uyeta. Bad company.

The work they did was adequate and the two workers worked hard when they were there but when I got the bill they WAY overcharged. They started by charging $60 per person per hour when all they were doing was digging out existing plants. It didnt take a rocket scientist to do the work and then it turned out that they also charge the same rate for DRIVING to my house. I resent being charged $120 per hour for the workers to be driving. My landscape designer got their rate reduced to $45 per hour but they still insisted on charging for the driving. All in all a VERY expensive experience for what I got! They also charged a $100 dump fee which is fair enough, but that should cover the time for the drivers. I dont know any other service that actually charges for driving time. Would never use them again!
