The crew started right on time. During the pruning, we had a question about one of our fruit trees, and the answer was explained in detail. When the job was complete, the yard was clean and looked great. Looking forward to the spring when the trees start filling in!

The JC Crew were great in doing tree trimming in our backyard. We used their service a few years ago, and the big oak trees in your backyard had overgrown and needed trimming. Jonathon is a licensed arborist, so I trust his judgement and that the crew knows what theyre doing on the trees. They nicely pruned down the trees so that we have more light coming into the house now, its glorious! They showed up on time, finished early, and cleaned everything up, so that there wasnt any sign of work on the driveway. Love it! thanks guys!

The team did a very good job and I will certainly use them again for future tree trimming. In particular, I have three Coast redwoods that were quite tall and had never been thinned so our high wind winter storms were making me nervous. The JC Tree Care team thinned them out and they look great and Im now much less concerned about them blowing over in a storm.

The crew arrived as scheduled. JC arrived and introduced me to the crew. Together, the four of us walked the site and went over with me what needed to be done. The two workers were very neat and cleaned the property in the areas they had worked. When they were finished, they invited me out to review what had been done and to make sure I approved. I was impressed with the professionalism of the owner who made the initial contact with me, he reviewed what I wanted done, offered important information about my tree and his recommendations. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly and emailed me an estimate the next day. The cost was very reasonable so I signed the contract. We set a date one week later to complete the work. The team arrived on time did an excellent job and did a through clean up. I couldn t be happier with the work that was done. Definitely a 5 Star company.

Very happy with JC Tree Care. They worked very efficiently and conscientiously to significantly thin the crowns of two very large pine trees prior to winter storm season. The results exactly what I asked for, the trees look great and chances of falling branches this winter are substantially reduced. Neighbors and I are very pleased with their cleanup. We have been using JC Treecare for many years now. They are always professional, thorough, and excellent communicators. We live in a redwood dense property that has some access challenges and they have always been able to work with us to keep our trees healthy and safe.

Jonathan Corado and his company is by far the best tree service in Redwood City and surrounding areas. I have now used them three times for a major tree removal or trimming project and every time I have been extremely impressed with the results. First time was when one of my oak trees had fallen in a major storm onto a neighbors garage. I obtained three different quotes, and Jonathans was by far the most reasonable, plus he is a certified arborist, which none of the other guys were. His crew arrived the day after and they were able to cut down the damaged tree...in the pouring rain...without damaging the neighboring structure any further. Second time they trimmed a huge pepper tree for me and every day I look at it I am happy with the result. The tree now looks happy and healthy. Third time, they removed a medium sized tree from my backyard plus two old stumps, but had to work in a tight corner of my yard. As before, the crew was quick and efficient, they were mindful of the surrounding structures and plants, and they cleaned my entire yard front and back before they left! Another stellar job from JC Tree Care!!!

Fully insured with careful competent employees. They listen to details (like I dont like those limbs hanging over the house). After the job is done they will follow up to be sure they did what you expected. The cleanup performed before they leave is exceptional.

JC s crew was very efficient and considerate in trimming the two Japanese Maples. They made sure that all the trimmings were picked up and using the leaf blower they even cleaned the patio. Tree shaping was excellent. During the work there were several concerning loud thumps from large branches dropped to the roof. However, no damage, such as leaks have been noticed. Overall it was satisfactory.

Jonathan and his team were awesome! He came out to scout the tree, and the very same evening provided a formal proposal by email. Stephanie was professional in answering questions and calling with a reminder a day before (or Friday for a Monday job). Tree and all debris was cleared away when the job was done. Fence is no worse for wear, and power and internet wires running through the tree are unaffected! All smiles here.

Fantastically responsive. Giant oak entree fell onto our house New Years Eve. Called Jonathon Monday for quote on Monday, fair price- and he came back with amazing crew of 9 pros on Tuesday. Clean high quality equipment- good safety equipment and procedures. They worked hard and fast and protected the yard and windows. Real pros in every way.

Jonathan did hardscape and irrigation for our front and back yards. The stone work is beautifully done, and we get compliments from passersby all the time. The irrigation system was expertly installed as well. Jonathan is very competent, easy to talk to and was great at listening to what we wanted. He also suggested other options which were great ideas, and we adopted several according to his advice. His work crew is also a delight to work with: punctual, dedicated, conscientious in their work, and very kind and courteous with us, the clients. This attitude of kindness and dedication comes from the top: Jonathan was really great to work with. He runs a five stars operation.

I dont typically write online reviews, but Jonathan and his crew were amazing to work with from start to finish. I had three companies come out to give bids. Jonathan was the most expensive out of the three but he also came across as the most knowledgable and I had no doubt that he and his crew would do a great job. They arrived on time and pruned several of our fruit trees, removed a large black acacia tree that was ruining our fence and pruned our large Douglas fir tree. The crew worked very quickly and the trees look amazing. They also did an incredible job cleaning everything up and removing the stump of the black acacia. Our yards looked spotless by the time they left. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them on an annual basis for tree pruning and other landscape needs. Thank you, Jonathan!

Unless youre going to be home to sit and watch these people work, Id stay away far from them. They let their employees go near your expensive things and touch your private property! Our car was damaged, scratched all over, because again they dont care for your personal private things, they do as they please and drag their branches around or apparently even on your cars! For free! Disgusting lack of respect, youre there to do a job not just have four guys stand around while one guy cuts a tree, so they get bored enough to start picking up things, looking under car covers. Touching someones property crosses the line. Theres no reason to ever have to touch anything that wasnt theirs, they could simply ask us to move it if it was in the way. But they wont do that, again theyll take the shortest route right on top of your car and have fun with your things while they wait for one person to cut branches!

Ive had JC Tree Care out for two projects. They exceeded expectations both times! The first project was removing a gigantic, dying oak tree that leaned towards our house and touched a power line. It was a difficult job and they were the lowest bid. They finished the job and left the site immaculate, as if the tree was never there to begin with. I had them come back the following year to trim several trees on the property. Each one turned out great. Again, they left the site better than they found it. Jonathan is a passionate arborist and it shows. Im very happy to work with his company again in the future.

Quick response time. And did a great job. They know what they are doing, but for some of the workers there is a language barrier. But It wasnt too much of an issue. I wish there was more written communication, via email, but They were very courteous and responded quick to yelp messages and never missed a call.

We are very happy with the work performed by JC Tree Care and they are also a great team to work with. Getting a quote was fast and easy, and the price was reasonable. They have top quality equipment allowing them to work quickly and efficiently. They showed up with an appropriately sized team of 4 men to efficiently complete the large job in two days. Jonathan is a knowledgable and helpful arborist who is happy to provide advice on how best to care for your trees. Their attitude was always focused on meeting customer expectations and getting the job done, and not on trying to extract added money due to ambiguity in work scope descriptions. We will definitely hire JC Tree Care again and give them a strong recommendation. UPDATE: I would like to add that 6 months after JC Tree Care did a few days of work on my trees, a neighbor raised a concern about roots from one of our trees near the shared property line. The head arborist Jonathan quickly came out to the house to look at the roots and talk with the neighbor to make a recommendation about the roots. His advice has been great throughout the project which is true in this case as well. I asked if I could pay him and he declined, saying he had already been paid to care for this tree and didnt mind stopping by to help. This is very generous and much appreciated. I highly recommend the JC Tree Care team for yard/tree work and Jonathan as an arborist.
