Not socially trained professionals! Being new home owners you need some professionals to align you in right direction and explain the services they can provide. When the guy on the call gotta know that they don t provide the service I was looking for (planting new plants and help design the garden) he disconnected the phone without saying anything, which I felt was real rude! No one would love to work with untrained unprofessional folks! Keep your business to yourself :)

Penile E, genuinely listen to my frustration with the grass issues I have been having dispite the monly treatments, provided great feed back and information on what could be going on with my grass as of lately!! And he listened to my complaint about the ineffective mosquito spraying that I have been receieving /experiencing. I have been with Truegreen a while now and am really struggling with whether there is a benefit to keep doing business with the company but Penile E encourage me to hang in there and see if we can get things turned around. I felt his sincerity and willingness to fugure it out and will give it a bit more time before I cancel. Stay tuned for the update in the next few months.

TruGreen drivers use 230th St SE, a private road that is clearly marked Not a Thru Road as a shortcut between 155th Ave SE and 165th Ave SE in Snohomish. There is a locked gate across this private road, so your drivers cut through our PRIVATE PROPERTY to get around the gate. The lock on a chain preventing access to our private property was damaged and needed replaced. When your driver gets stuck on our property (because it will now be locked 100% of the time), we will have them charged with trespassing.

Burnt my lawn and never showed up to fix it. Promises after promises to show up to rectify but never did. Canceled service. Do not use TruGreen. Easy to enroll difficult to cancel. Gave me a round around. Never showed up. Trying to cancel is almost impossible. Don t use them!

Promised to call Friday to come Monday for service call. Didn t do either one. Not first time either. FOURTH time!! They LIE all the time and never show up when you told them they screwed up. Do NOT use them

I was extremely pleased with TruGreen. I called the Redmond branch and the fellow got right on Google Earth, viewed my property, gave me a bid and had trucks here in a few days! Its organization, promptness, and automated text service being in constant communication letting me know that a truck is on its way and the arrival time. BUT.....IVE BEEN TRYING TO TALK TO ANYONE FROM THIS OFFICE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THERE IS NO LOCAL NUMBER ANYMORE AND I GET A CALL CENTER THAT PROMISES CALLS BACK THAT NEVER COME TO FRUITION. I AM VERY FRUSTRATED

My service man does a good job. He let me know that he was there, servicing the yard and aerated the lawn.

Harriet came to my yard today to look at some leaf issues with my rhody, pieris, and azalea shrubs. She took some photos to send back to the office for ID, and fertilized, thinking that might help. Shes a great asset to TruGreen - shes listens, is personable, and is honest. If she doesnt know the answer, shell get it for you. Thank you, Harriet!

Landon was very helpful. He listened to my concerns and explained what he was doing and how it would affect our lawn. He addressed the problems and and remedies available. He was really polite and I was impressed with his professionalism.

Their product application is not uniform but streaky. Their communication is poor and ineffective. I would not recommend this company!

If we could give this company a 0, we would. They said we owe money which we didnt. They said they sent us to collections but we never received a letter nor did we receive a phone call saying our account is/was past due. Customer service doesnt know what the other reps are doing or saying. Customer service does not keep good notes. Trying to bulldog us into paying for services that were already paid for. Lawn never looked that great...very spotty. We have tried TruGreen over several years and have always quit their services. They like to sneak visits in when we dont know about it and then charge us for something we didnt know about and then tell us if we dont pay, they wont come out again. Very disappointed. Looked forward to a nice lawn, but not with TruGreen. Very disappointed in this company altogether.

Lawn has been great, this is not the issue! The problem is this team seems to be incapable of working gates, and being the owner of dogs, this is completely unacceptable. 2 visits in a row weve had gate issues, the last one they clearly attempted to open the wrong side and damaged the anchor on the side thats supposed to stay closed, which wouldnt be a huge issue except they tried to make it look like nothing had happened and chose not to report it to me (fix was 5 minutes, I just really needed them to be honest about it needing my attention especially given the existing note on my account that the gate being secured when they leave being important).

Completely unacceptable! They sprayed our complex lawn and put up ZERO flags. How are pets, kids and homeowners supposed to know to stay off toxic lawn!! These chemicals cause cancer and this company has failed at their most important role.

Id love sharing in pictures the results of our 1st lawn application after our lawn wakes-up from its winter hibernation. Our past summers draught and this winters freezing temps took a toll, so Im looking forward to seeing our lawn bounce back and Id be happy to share before and after pictures.

Ongoing lawn and shrub applications of fertilizer, moss & weed killer and pest control. More convenient and environmentally friendly compared to my haphazard use of products from the local hardware store.

We have used TruGreen for many years. The service technicians that come to our home do a very good job. However, in 2022 and 2023, I called TruGreen and told them that we did not want the aeration done.. in 2022 they did the aeration anyway, which I paid for. I call two months ago and told them not to do this service this year. The lady was very nice and said they would put it on the schedule for 2024. TruGreen showed up yesterday and did the aeration. I called the company and spoke with Jared, he said all he could do is cancel for 2024 and since they did the service I had to pay for it. I explained it was a service that I told them not to do, he would not do anything but argue that the work was done. He also said that I probably called the wrong TruGreen number when I called to stop the aeration, he said that the different departments do not communicate and that I should have call the correct number. Apparently the number online is not correct, even when they pull up your account and make arrangements. I ended up having to cancel my service on two properties.

Jeremy and Joseph did fertilizing and weed control during my visit. They answered any questions that I asked. This was my first visit and I look forward to a healthier looking lawn.

Worthless & fraud. Better not engage with their sales team. I wanted to try one time application and the team agreed to it but internally signed me up for 8 applications. For the second time they didnt get my permission , I had not agreed to. They kept pestering me for payment everyday for incompetence and deception of their employee. Whatever service they provided in 2 applications were also totally useless

I like trugreen, but I was very disappointed with the visit the 2nd to last visit the technician sat in his truck for 10 minutes and then rushed thru front lawn and never touched the backyard and didnt leave anything on doors or knocked!! Called and comp and they got a technician out there the next week to do backyard, glad I was home to see the first job!!

I just started my service with Trygreen, but so far, so good. They have been promp, responsive to my calls and my questions. I was a bit surprised to get a followup call a week after starting the lawn service that was now soliciting for me to start their tree and shrub service. I ended up adding that on too, hopefully it wasnt just an update and I will be able to see my plants respond to their care. Time will tell.

Dont know, they never came to the door before they did the yard and they never left the paper that tells what they did! So cant answer your question.

TruGreen has consistently provided exemplary services for the yrs we have used them. Great attention to detail, and most importantly, they are very responsive when I notice any developing issues between services. They have restored the lush green lawn that had an invasion within a year of the sodding by a different co.

Trugreen service provider showed up alone for second time, in spite of cancelling the previous service because he needed a second person to handle the aerator. He called for help after I objected and the service completed.

Applied fertilizer today. Very good service - helpful with advice and answering my questions. Only problem was when I asked for a quote by email, I received document presigned with a scribble and the box for declaring agreement for doing the service was checked, i.e. appeared to be a signed contract. I think its all straightened out, but there should have been some clarification up front to avoid confusion.

Updating my review. I posted a 1 out of 5 because the service was extremely poor and I wasn t getting what I paid for. TruGreen stepped up to the challenge and Mick (Kirkland franchise) has been stellar. In 2 visits he has transformed my lawn to what I was expecting from TruGreen. I am very impressed with the quality of service Mick provides he has earned my business.

I stop using the service, nobody show up, they charge you on time. Dont use service. Very poor quality. I will give negative star

I have had TruGreen for a few years, without exception our front lawn is the very best in the whole neighborhood. Just night last my neighbor just told me how great our front lawn looked. Thank you TruGreen.

They promised me that they would do soiling, but please be mindful , they dont do soiling, and they charged full service amount , upon asking for a full refund true green mentioned and accepted that that was a wrong commitment from their side but unable to give back full refund ..... They keep sending bills even after service are disconnected, this is pure harassment ...

The agents are highly unprepared and u professional. Quite possibly running a scam. I called then through number from their website. And then the potentially the scam started 1. They call you from an un-verified number, and ask you to pay upfront event before sending a quote from an authentic Email if. They send through their gmail id. 2. When you call their number,a different agent picked it up, and when I told him these issues, he put me on hold for 45 mins to an hr. Not agreeing or denying to this issue that I shared. He just left. It had all the signs of facilitating a scam. I decide to not go with their services and would suggest not calling them, since it could very well start a scam.

Jason Masterjohn has always gone above and beyond. He tidies our yard before treating it. One week he arrived while I was raking. He picked up a rake and finished the job with me. I really appreciated it!

Consistently come out to perform service and skip major sections of the lawn. Seem more concerned with getting done quickly then performing quality work. Jane called with this same complaint many times, with no improvement.

You show up when you say you will. My lawn is greener because of you. You do the aeration thing.

Terrible service in last 18 months. Came every other week instead of every 6 weeks. Changed service to every 4 weeks without asking. In it to ruin the lawn and profit. Caught them coming every two weeks. When I called about it, nothing got fixed. They began to send them out every week as revenge.

The TruGreen staff are knowledgeable and efficient. They arrive when scheduled and perform their services quickly.. and always remember to close the gate! Have used them for years and will continue to do so.

Sprayed my lawn instead of the correct address (miles away); we are not customers. Went into my backyard without asking. Called twice to ask what they put down and to have them explain if they sprayed the kids toys on the lawn or near our organic garden. They never returned my calls.

I do not recommend this company. Although friendly, there have been so many issues since the very beginning. Multiple phone calls & although the customer service reps are nice & helpful, they cant seem to do the job. After several instances & not being satisfied with how my lawn looked after 2 years of service (hoping it would get better) I canceled my service in Sept 2021. Fast forward to 2 days ago...I get an automated call reminding me that their specialist will be at my property the following day to do a Lyme treatment. I call & talk to a nice lady to ask why are they coming? I canceled this in Aug or Sept, she confirmed Sept was my last phone call. She assures me my service is canceled now but it had not been previously. Very frustrating! She gave me a confirmation number. The next morning I get a text that says the specialist has srrive at my property. I was not home so I couldnt speak directly to the tech. I called customer service again & spoke with another nice lady. She assured me she would cancel my service & I would not be charged. Also noting that there was no notes from my previous call. She also said that in her system my account now shows inactive & I will get an email or text with confirmation. I have not received either. I had spoken with a gentlemen the same morning, just an hour before the 1st automated call, who calls & gets lawn care customers using the tree & shrub care service on the same days & he is very nice. I also explained my frustrations & that is why I was no longer am using the service. After this all happened i called him again to que him in on another instance. He looked up my account 2 hours after I talked to the gal who told me my account was inactive, my account was STILL active according to him. Top it off...they charged me for the service. Im not going to go into all the reasons why Im canceling but if the hassel of canceling doesnt give you an idea of how much they lack in getting things done...more moss in my yard than before they started might make you think twice. Sad because I had always thought they were a good company, knew multiple people who used their service. I unfortunately have not had that good experience. Now another phone

I have had multiple issues with Trugreen and after repeated professionals coming to correct issue, it still isnt resolved. This last issue my lawn was ripped to mud by professional during aeration and instead of owning to the mistake, the only thing left was muddy shoe prints in my lawn. And when I called to discuss no service lead contacted me back.

Customer service is terrible, i emailed to see when my next mosquito application was schedule for, they call me back but since it wasn t a new service they transfer me to another section where they never answer the calls, really disappointed

They are the hardest folks to contact and just poor service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Terrible communication. Long time customer who used several different services within Trugreen. Finally cancelled after several attempts to either stop or restart different applications. They continue to show up after being told not to for things that have been cancelled. When asked multiple times to add different services they do not show up. Nobody has records of the correspondence. I m done.

First two service calls were on schedule. Third service call for moss control was missed twice. Called company twice for re-schedule. Moss control done this morning. Tree and bushes are scheduled for tomorrow. Satisfaction pending - when I see the results

I received excellent service by Henry Rios for Aeration and Seeding. He is knowledgeable and patient. Ask for Henry....he is the best! Also Mgr Christopher Hood is outstanding and extremely helpful. So nice to have my concerns handled in such a professional manner.

They have good customer service and friendly people especially in lawn care but not very knowledgeable regarding trees shrubs and plants. If you have a lot of tree and shrub issues you might be better off finding a different expert for treatment and tips on caring for them.

I found True Green to be only treating and seeding only parts of my lawn while saying they where doing all of it. I have picture and video proof but they will not fix it and comeback and do my whole yard like I paid for.

Great communications and great customer service. Came out and a week later true to their promise came out when I got a mosquito bite. I love the AP that tells your exactly when they are going to be at your house and the sign they leave that they have been there. They are everything they said they were and follow threw was great!

Aeration and over seeding was done by a trainee under the semi-watchful eye of a young professional. After the deed was done, the pro commented to the trainee that he should have been more careful seeding so as not to get any grass seed in the non-lawn areas. FYI, the grass is growing just fine in the dirt surrounding the lawn, but not in the bare areas of the lawn. Must be a special kind of seed.

TruGreen is fine. They do everything right, except my lawn is not responding to their treatments. I think I have too much shade or something. It s green and beautiful, but the bare spots are not filling in. I m not going to pick on trugreen, I m pretty sure it s my lawn location.

I m not sure what to say about this company yet ! I ve been scheduled for aeration on our lawn on 4 different days! No one is showing up ! I m glad I didn t pay in advance!

Sean, the TruGreen Technician, has taken good care of our lawn and has always been responsive and professional.

Lovely lawn care, they come every month and if nothing else all my moss is gone. Im into my 3rd year now. I hate raking moss. Oh yes, the grass looks good too. They initially said the pre-paid service was for a year nut it turned out to be about 10 months. I was a little irritated, but they discounted two months for me. I had the lawn aerated and seeded the first year but I was not impressed. They showed up the next year, unasked to aerate and just now, the next year. I did not want it, nor did I ask for it. Luckily they came to my door first. Irritating as well. 5 stars for the yard service but minus two for their ethics.

Mark has been with us for a few years and we couldnt ask for more than he gives. Our grass and shrubs look fantastic and healthy. We get so many compliments on our yard from family, friends and delivery people as well! He is friendly yet professional. He always asks if we have any concerns and addresses them. He explains what could have caused a problem then fixes it or educates me on what I can do to fix it. I had a tree potted in a big pot that was not looking too good. He told me to just spin it around every once in awhile to get some sun exposure and to pull it out from the house so it can get rain watered. It now looks great. I think he drives in, scans the place and confers with me what he notices. Our homestead has never looked so good! The scheduling part of the service is seamless as well. I have always been able to reach a CSR quickly with a question or to reschedule. As far as value, the cost is very reasonable and it saves us hours a month to do our thing.

So many people walking by always comment on our grass that is soooo green, and we always tell them to get Trugreen. The great thing is that I never have to call to schedule a service, you do it, and always call before you come out. The money we spent on having Trugreen is totally worth it!

Our builder signed us up and paid for this service since our lawn had a disease last Summer. The builder prepaid for 8 services so after the service was completed and Winter came, we forgot about them since all the prepaid services were done. We moved on. Two months ago, we received a bill- apparently they came come out to service our lawn. There was no phone call, no note on our door indicating service just a bill in our mailbox. I called them and said we would like to cancel the service and explained to them the only reason why we had their service was to take care of the lawn disease that they resolved last year. I dont understand why they would come out if the prepaid services were used already? They transferred me to 3 different representatives to cancel and at the end of the phone call I asked them to waive the bill for $54.20 because of sole fact that we did not request their services!! They refused. We really had no indication that they came out to service our lawn except for the bill in the mail. Last year, each time they serviced our law, the representative would call before and after to confirm. No one did that this time. The representative told us that they continue the service until you call them to cancel. I dont agree with this method of operation however I suppose it makes sense if you leave your credit card of file or something with them which WE DID NOT. We had a very distinct plan, go through the 8 services that the builder paid for and that was completed. For them to supposedly come out and service our lawn (with no proof) that they did without our request is just a poor business practice and honestly fraudulent. Although, they did resolve our lawn issues- I would never refer them to a family member or friend due to how they handled this situation. Who continues to come service your home without you asking for it and bills you for it??? This business model is dishonest.
