I highly recommend Rich Landscaping! Everyone on the team is knowledgeable and responsive. They have a wide variety of products at a wide range of price points! They helped me create a beautiful garden and do a wonderful job updating it and maintaining it!
Just completed a custom home on a large lot. Rich Landscaping was involved throughout and did a quality job planning, sourcing and installing all plant material as well as lighting and irrigation. I was impressed that they brought in some much larger, more mature privacy trees than we budgeted for at no additional cost. All warranty matters have been handled without objection and quickly. Easy to work with.
Richs Landscape was brought on about 6 years ago to do the landscaping maintenance in our development and they have done an outstanding job. When we have an issue with a downed tree, broken sprinkler or another common area issue a phone call to Josh and it's taken care of. We also asked them (David) if their design group could come up with options for updating our soccer park. Their design group came up with a number of possibilities that we narrowed down to one. I have used Rich’s landscaping for 20 plus years in the industry and brought them to every property I’ve worked at if they weren’t already there. I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with the family that owns Rich’s and watching the company grow and evolve. Josh from Rich’s has not only been a great vendor to work with but a great friend in general. It’s almost like we grew up together as we both grew in our own careers. I would highly recommended this company to anyone looking for a great landscape company with impeccable friendly service!
I have used Rich Landscaping for many years, and have had Sean as my rep for most of them. Sean has consistently provided great service and is very responsive and always follows through and keeps me updated on projects. He has sent a snow removal team to my property at 10 pm to make sure the parking lots were clear before my residents got up the next day, had fallen trees removed within hours of me calling about them, and eliminated major drainage issues. This is on top of making sure that the landscaping on my properties are well maintained and beautiful. The crews that handle the weekly maintenance are quick and they regularly check it to see if there is anything additional that they need to address. I have yet to encounter anyone with this company that is less than professional and respectful.
I only used Rich’s for a multi family property I managed, and not by choice. I have been familiar with this company just working in the industry, and they are vastly overpriced with subpar work. One of their account managers, Sean, is a complete buffoon. A liar (I mean plain as day- myself and multiple other employees have witnessed it first hand) and genuinely, just seems incompetent. Their VP, Josh, backs his team (as he should-they are his employees) however, when a job as mismanaged (I say job loosely, it was really just their general maintenance- lol @ dead grass for 5+ months and MANY attempts to have it fixed) as the one we had is being presented to you at some point you need to just own that your company and employees dropped the ball. Big time. And maybe even sit and go “why did this go on so long?” And actually confront your own employees as to why that is. I will give them credit however, that after MONTHS of trying to get (some) of our issues resolved, after Josh was involved we started to see improvement (growing grass). But for what reason would it need to go on that long, and create such weird animosity, is beyond me and why we (as a company) were so confused. In short, do NOT use this company if you’re used to good communication and fair prices- here you will not find either of those.
This is the worst landscaping company I have ever seen. All they do is use their obnoxiously loud and smelly gas blowers to blow trash and dirt all over the place for 3 hours every Friday. No idea how, but they always manage to leave things looking worse than before.

Worst company ever!
I use Rich Landscaping at my Property and have loved how prompt and responsive they have been. Anytime that we have had issues with our sprinklers, tree removal or seasonal concerns with our landscape, Sean has always been very fast and prompt with his responses. He always goes above and beyond. The team always provide excellent service to us. Thank you so much for all of your hard work!
I was shocked to read a 1-Star review of Richs Landscaping. As the Operations Coordinator for 4 large, garden-style apartment complexes, I can attest to the fact that Richs, and Sean in particular (whom I have known for several years), is always there whenever we need them. Knowledgeable, courteous, and comprehensive, you cannot go wrong with Richs. I highly recommend them.
I have been working with Rich Landscaping for over 15 years and have always been impressed with their customer service and attention to detail. Sean and Josh have bailed me out of some tough spots over the years and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

They are the most worse landscaping I have never see in my complex building. They leave all the garbage all over the building, horrible blowing, they don t know how to trim it, they never bring the right equipment, they took like two hours lunch. Winter time is the worse they don t do anything. Horrible service I ll not recommend this company.
Horribly disruptive landscaping and very slow. This company still uses gas powered leaf blowers that will be SO LOUD that you can hear them 5 blocks down the road and way louder 7 stories up. Until this company can respectfully do it s job without waking up an entire neighborhood and distrusting everyone s home I would never recommend this service. Idk why this place refuses to use a broom or at least an electric leaf blower, but this is Seattle and we all hate you for it. So just keep doing what your doing and lose business because no one wants this constant noise pollution. These antiquated machines are banned in Seattle and it will go in effect in 2 years then you won t have any choice.
Adolfo, Aurelio and the Rich Landscaping team have visited my community Alvista 240 every Wednesday for a year now and I am loving the overall look of my community. Today at 9:10am in the University district one of their crews in a white pickup truck almost forced me off the road and then after seeing their mistake they proceeded to force way into my lane and. They are a menace to our road safety.
I am a resident of Avana Star Lake. There is a group of workers that have been doing work next to our building. They block my car in with their truck and watch me struggle to move my car to get out without saying a word.. there s one guy who sits on his phone all day.. taking personal calls (I know this because my window was open and heard him talking about pretty intimate family issues while he was shoveling by my window and I was doing the dishes) Today I watched him stand between the wall of the building and a bush while the other guys work and he is sitting on his phone.. picking up the shovel every few mins then putting it down to take his phone out again. The rest of the guys have all been nice.. but it s this one guy who just lets everyone else work. Kind of sad to see..

The are the landscapers that are hired by my complex, but every time they are here there is more talking then work getting done. Not only that, but they dont make the property look better they leave more of a mess than when they got here. I have taken photos and videos of their work. This absolutely disgusting of a company to claim to do their job when in reality they dont actually do anything. The maintenance at my complex does more of the landscaper job than the landscapers do. I truly do not recommend this company. Not worth what you pay. You would be better off doing the work yourself
As others have written here, the employees are refusing to wear face coverings regardless of the WA mandate to do so, putting the communities they work in at risk. Not happy with the quality of service they are providing our community and have contacted our complex office many times over their activity.
They are the 3rd party responsible for cleaning the lots of some Essex properties, and I currently live at one. They seem to have no respect for tenants property and automobiles. They will blow debris all over your clean car in a protected port of what almost seems to be an intentional manner.
This company is incompetent. The blowers they use almost certainly violate OSHA noise/decibel regulations. They blow debris all over personal property (cars, patios, etc.) This company is such garbage they somehow made their disregard of masks the third issue here.
Rich landscaping is a great company. Their technician are professional and respectful. They cleaned up all of the areas I asked to be cleaned up and afterwards asked if there is anything else they can do before they are done for the day. I really appreciate the hard work they do to upkeep the property and to make sure all residents are happy. A specially at this time when so many people work from home and enjoy a clean yards and well maintained landscaping. Glad to have them clean my property. Thank you.
The guys at Richs do such a great job and are professional in their dealings with others and wear face masks whenever I see them .
