We have been working with Bear Creek Landscaping for many years. They do weekly maintenance of our yard, handle all pruning and the sprinkler system. Their design teams also executed a beautiful and complex backyard landscape plan. I couldnt be happier. We look forward to the next phase of completion with redo of our front yard. We hired Bear Creek for planting some new boxwoods for our front yard, and for doing backyard cleanup. It was overall a positive experience. We had numerous items accomplished for our large yard spring cleaning. I particularly want to thank Don who had over site of our project and offered numerous helpful ideas. Secondly the crews that accomplished the project which included terrace walls and patios were extremely hard workers all led by Julio. I dont know if I have seen a harder worker that wanted everything to be perfect than Julio. Because of him, we will be using Bear Creek going forward!

He s a good communicator, very responsive and dependable, and checks in regularly. The maintenance crew, Alexander and Jose, are a pleasure to work with - they are efficient, professional and deliver meticulous work. I would highly recommend them.

My townhome complex contracts with Bear Creek for landscaping. I have put a lot of time and money into planting in my garden over the last couple of years. I cant count the number of times that one of the landscapers have destroyed brand new plants and newly sprouted bulbs in my garden beds with careless mowing and weed wacking. Even after putting up a decorative iron fence, that was somehow sucked into their mower as well. Its been a very frustrating experience.

Shane with Bear Creek put in a huge network of sprinklers for us. He customized fences quite precisely to our specifications, including creating a dog airlock system. He added driveway and tree lighting that looks spectacular. When problems arose, he was polite and responsive and even added little extra touches to make everything special. It all looks better than I imagined!

Mike and crew were great. Always on time. No one standing around! Mike is very knowledgeable about what was needed. The transformation of our was amazing. They cleaned up everything each night!

My yard needed a lot of sprucing up to get my house ready to put on the market - lots of weeding, edging, mowing, yard debris, and scraggly plants. Bear Creek Landscaping came in and did an amazing job of making my yard look the best it ever has. It looks super clean, orderly, and manicured. They went over and above trimming some plantings that werent part of the plan. The yard looks great. I wish Id had them as a yard service for the 18 years I lived in my house. My contact there was Jeff. He was responsive, professional, punctual, and had good ideas when he looked at the yard. I tried contacting 3 other services and every single one flaked out by not showing up. Bear Creek was the only service that was responsive. Highly recommend.

I am so happy my fountain in my front yard is finally working again! Dan and his team took time out of their busy schedule early this morning to fix it after it had been broken for two years. We are selling our house and were hoping to have our fountain working when the house goes on the market. We thought there was little hope as it was so old, and the pump did not work. But soon after Dans crew replaced the pump, the water gushed out of the top and BAM! It worked! So grateful to Dan, and his team for their excellent service!

Jeff Mitchell and his crew were professional, easy to work with, responsive, and did a great quality job installing our sprinkler system as well as preparing our yard for hydroseed. Strongly recommend their services.

We needed a steep backyard hillside terraced and entire yard irrigation installed. The project also included sod installation and level of other small mounds of dirt. The crew worked hard and the designer listened to our input and was willing to adapt the plan to accommodate our wishes. He kept us apprised of surprises he found along the way, such as underground water flows requiring extra drainage, etc. The clean up upon project completion was astoundingly good. We really appreciate all the work that went into this project.

The service is predictable, always on time. Great attention to detail in the beds and edging. We have a quarter mile long driveway and at the end they always blow it clean.

I use Bear Creek for irrigation services and they are really on top of things. Turning the water off on time in the fall and back on again in the spring is always by appointment. I like that because you have no chance involved. They also do the occassional irrigation repair and do it well.

Joe was great to work with, incredibly helpful and thoughtful along the way. The crew was onsite daily for nearly two weeks, were courteous, professional and ran a clean job site. Upon completion Joe came back, walked us through everything from plant selection to ongoing maintenance. They were aces all around. I totally recommend !!

We had some stonework done recently in the backyard. Afterwards the area seemed so bare so I called and worked with Jeff Mitchell/Project Manager at Bear Creek to help spruce up the bedding. He was very knowledgeable about plants and irrigation (we have an existing sprinkler system), he reinforced some of my thoughts and ideas on what to do, and shared suggestions he had based upon his expertise. The working crew was great. They worked rain or shine and left the area very neat when done for the day. The project overall couldnt have worked out more beautifully!! Because of that we decided to update other parts of the yard with a stone pathway, cleaning up existing shrubbery, and reseeding the entire lawn, We are really looking forward to the warmer weather to get out an enjoy our new space even more!!! Also, thinking of what the next project will be to continue embellishment on the enhancements weve already begun!!

Bear Creek Landscaping handles my groundskeeping/landscape maintenance. I also use them for winter snow plowing & de-icing of my very long, steep driveway. They are professional and courteous and keep my grounds functional and well maintained. Ive also used them to clean-up an area in the forested part of my land where the previous homeowner had dumped a bunch of junk (why anyone would use their property as a dump is beyond me). Two years ago we did a landscaping project with Bear Creek Landscaping . The project included removal of old vegetation ( few trees and shrubs), relocation of few boulders, installation of smart irrigation system with scheduling , planting new vegetation and lights installation. Mike and his team did a great job and we are enjoying our front yard year round. The irrigation and lighting works great .

I have used the services of Bear Creek Landscaping for the past five years. My landscape was out of control and I had my yard cleaned up and mulched. New gravel was added to my driveway. I have woodland gardens and I worked with Mike, the owner, to add a few plants and trees. The results were spectacular. The following year, I had more trees and plants added as well as lighting. They also added landscape rocks to make the entrance to my home stand out. I had small rocks placed around my foundation to eliminate weeds and places for rodents to hide. Each year, I have added more Japanese Maples and shrubs to fill my beds. I have also added lawn and yard maintenance. The teams that come are professional and keep my yard looking great. After the big wind storm this year, I had storm cleanup services. I had so many branches that fell that there was no way I could have managed. Four men came and cleaned up my yard for hours. The result was a yard that looked wonderful. I have found Bear Creek Landscaping to be easy and professional to work with in the care of my property. I highly recommend them!

We have used Bearcreek since September 2020. Prior to that, we have done some irrigation and drainage projects with it. Bearcreek is very professional and delivers the quality of service I expect but have never received from other companies. My wish is some one/some company that will give the same kind of attention as they would give to their yard. I want to pay for results, and not just tasks. Besides yard maintenance, we have hired Bearcreek to design and install shrubs. I have observed that they dont treat the installation as a transaction, but rather, they maintain the plants carefully. I am delighted that Bearcreek hand-pruned the shrubs, and also cleaned up the perennials for growth. The account manager is very responsive and as I said above, she doesnt treat each project as a transaction. I can reach out and give me feedback and she would respond accordingly. Our maintenance fee to Bearcreek is higher than to previous companies, but I am happy with the service so far.

We have your company come every year at least once sometimes twice in a year to help us out with cleaning up our garden. Your crew always arrives on time and work like Trojans. Three guys working 8 hours get the job done that my husband and I would take 30 days to do! What a relief everytime you come. I should have you come once a month!

Came out for an estimate. They were on time and polite. Unfortunately, they have been unresponsive for the past 3 weeks without providing any follow up. I assume they are slammed with business and don t have time for the job. I d wish they would have simply told me so I could have scheduled another landscaper.

Bear Creek installed 6 laurels as a privacy hedge, extended an irrigation system, and did some needed pruning on my larger plants. While there were a few hiccups, they went out of their way to make sure I was fully satisfied!

Bear Creek Landscaping helped us redesign our garden and has provided year-round maintenance for the past several years, ensuring that our yard stays beautiful in every season. We have been particularly happy to have Oscar as the lead on our assigned team. He consistently goes above and beyond to provide us with excellent service with beautiful results! Although we are happy with the service, we hope our expense doesnt go up further, given that our costs increased over 40% last year. Another significant increase would force us to reevaluate keeping the service.

The first time I began contacting Bear Creek Landscaping, it took three weeks and one to many phone calls. i eventually called to tell the owner my troubles as a paying customer. Now, its the same deal, calling in leaving messages, and no call backs, I guess they dont need any more customers. Taking my business elsewhere.

We have a beautiful, but somewhat overgrown property in Northeast Woodinville on 5 acres. We have an amazing array of plants, trees, and naturally growing wildflowers (ok - many are weeds), but have not had the time or expertise to manage them throughout the year. We were looking for an extreme makeover to do justice to the property. We have driven by a house locally that looked amazing and saw the Bear Creek Landscaping sign in the front yard. We gave them a call and got an immediate response. We set up a visit with one of their experts (Jeff) who came by a few days later, walked the property and discussed our expectations. The following week the crew showed up and 3 days later our property looks beyond amazing. Jeffs knowledge was outstanding. He recommended what to get rid of, what to move/transplant, and selected a terrific set of new foliage. Equally amazing was the outstanding crew of workers that did the heavy lifting during the time here. They were punctual, polite, thorough, and cleaned up the place each and every work day. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the project and the outcome. If I could give them 6 stars I would gladly do so.

We have a large back yard at our Sammamish home, which we bought a year ago. We decided we wanted to completely re-imagine the gardens, patios, fire pit and hot tub location. Danny was our Bear Creek designer and was a true pleasure to work with, as was Jorje, the job foreman. They were extremely collaborative in the design from the beginning as well as revisions we made along the way. We have a long house with patio area across a sloping yard and they designed a beautiful approach to incorporating a fire-put area with seat wall into the central patio area, and dealt with a challenging re-location of the hot tub that came with the house. They re-purposed a lot of the existing plantings and boulders on the property into a beautiful series of gardens and landscape. Most of all, they were a pleasure to work with at every step, and have proactively followed up after the job was complete to make sure the new lawn is doing well and we are happy with the outcome. Cannot recommend Danny and Bear Creek highly enough.

Jeff and his team did a massive yard clean up for us. Our yard was way overgrown and beyond what I could tackle on my own. In two days they cleaned everything up and added gravel pathways and mulch. The yard looks amazing!!!! I am so pleased! They cleaned up everything very carefully, including coiling up any hoses that we had laying around. Definitely recommend.

They took our job. Promised us a free 3D design if we moved forward. That was a winner for us! That is where the promptness ended. No 3D design. Daily routine of staring out at the driveway waiting for their truck to arrive. We went for a professional company because of the project management and follow up that we didn t want to do. I wrote to the owner after they had ripped off some of the grass and left. The owner basically told us we can have our money back. They were good at refunding the money right away. It seemed like they were trying to squeeze us in but had bitten off too much to chew. All in all it ended well. We got the same project done at little under 50% of their estimate.

Noticed quality of service declining over the past year. Lawn maintenance service was good but rest of property was subpar. Site Supervisor never called or emailed to check in, but showed up twice in our backyard unannounced. We are re-architecting our backyard and converting a major portion of landscaped yard into a huge patio. I called and asked if they could reassess cost of contract post construction and the same day the owner emailed to let me know he was dropping our service as we were already paying minimal for their service. Not paying for declining quality anymore.

We would like to share our very positive experience that we had with Jeff Mitchell and his crew. They helped us to redesign our backyard with a new retaining wall that helped make the yard a more useable space. Jeffs crew is also helping us hydroseed the newly enhanced yard in both the front and back. He told us the project would take 3 - 4 days and he and the crew finished in just 3 days. We were very impressed with their work and they cleaned up after themselves every night. We would certainly recommend them to family and friends.

The company is Non responsive, Not professional and Not on time. Here is why. 1) the consultant came late. 2) the consultant, didnt take any notes throughout the conversation. I dont know how he can manage to remember everything that I talked. This project is scale of 100k. He didnt give any feedback during the conversation. 3) there is no follow up in the first 3 weeks. so I emailed him and the owner Mike. and he finally replied email and told me its miss communication and he is working on get city approval.... I shocked... we didnt came up any actionable items, where does the city approval came from. 4) he promised, after hear from city he will email me back. well, can we work on something else before your city thingee? 5) 5 weeks, I emailed and cc-ed owner again. This time, I hear back nothing. like into the void. very nice. Both consultant and the owner didnt show any interest in customer obsession and passion on the landscaping work they are doing. they definitely not earn my trust.

Beware of Bear Creek Landscaping. I have used them for the past 8 years and this year I noticed a drop in the quality of service they provide in maintaining my landscape. To start, I couldn t get anyone to respond to me when I requested additional services like brining in mulch and new plants for my beds and containers. When someone did finally get back to me after numerous attempts to get their attention, I had already found someone to bring in mulch and they only quoted adding plants to about half of my containers. They incorrectly trimmed my hydrangea this year, and many of them are not producing flowers. There are more weeds in my beds than there has ever been in the past. This year they also proactively sent me a list of fixes they suggested I have them perform on my irrigation system, which I gladly agreed. However, after performing this work I still had sprinklers that didn t work and in one case a sprinkler that just shot water up in the air. I sent them a list of issues with photos and no one ever got back to me and they charged me without my consent. However, after 8 years of service, which also includes a full landscape/hardscape of my backyard, I decided to give them the benefit of doubt. This was a BIG mistake. About a week ago they sent me an urgent email THREATING to cancel my maintenance service within a week if I didn t immediately agree to a 32% increase in payment. Their reasoning was that they were losing money on the service they provide. While I completely understand the need to adjust pricing in times when the economy is good and the labor market tight, this caught me completely off guard. First, we were in the middle of the annual contract that they have me sign every year that sets the price for the year. So why not set a higher price when the contact was signed. So I ended making large payments during the slow season when no services were performed to have them hit me with this during the high season. Second, if they are losing money on my account, whey didn t they respond when I asked for additional services. And finally, is this really the right way to treat a loyal customer of 8 years. Given the situation, I immediately dropped them and was able to find service from another company. I received two quotes and references from two companies and I just wish I would have replaced Bear Creek sooner. While, the price I m paying is about the same as the new price that Bear Creek wanted to charge me, both of these other companies appear to provide better service. They are more attentive, use natural trimming techniques as opposed to just chopping everything with trimmers, and from looking at the properties they maintain, the quality appears to be excellent. One other thing to note about Bear Creek. They bill you every four weeks so there are a total of 13 payments where as both of the other companies that quoted me bill once a month for a total of 12 payments. In summary, I can no longer recommend Bear Creek for any of their services based on their quality and their dishonest business practices.

Installed $16,000 worth of landscaping before ensuring that irrigation system was functioning. Greed before customer must be their company motto. During installation bedding plants such as rosemary, ivy and bay leaves were removed. Alex argued with me that this occurred and has yet to replace the plants removed in error. Was harassed for payment for landscaping before receiving an invoice. Paid for work which has yet to be completed such as topping trees. They did a partial job, said they would return and never returned. Landscape lighting required repair or replacement. After waiting two months For bear creek to address the issues I finally contacted other companies to do the job. Irrigation system which is part of monthly services was never repaired or energized. Contacted GM and his response was that he did not see why I was frustrated.

Called 3 times to get an estimate on a project. I provided all the details about the project, address and email on the 2nd call and when calling the 3rd was told they could see that I called but didnt have other details. Decided not to use their service!

Five Star all the way. Mike Wallinger and his hard working team are simply the best. He is very knowledgeable and tries very hard to listen to his customers needs and deliver on his promises. His crew works nonstop to deliver on what Mike promises.

The Bear Creek designer, Joe Givler, and the crew just finished re-doing my front yard in North Seattle. I do not have a large property, but the job was taken every bit as seriously as a big one and I love the result- it is much more open, bright, and the landscaping scheme is simple and just what I wanted. And I have to put in a good word for the crew who did the hard work of removing old plants and rebuilding a wall. They were efficient, courteous, and fast and obviously took pride in their work. One young man even carefully picked out of the soil the tiny bones of a pet parakeet that we had buried there years ago after I asked him to keep an eye out for the spot. Now, THAT is good service!
