Nelson Landscape Maintenance in Redmond

I appreciate Nelson Landscape Maintenance. They've blown out my Rainbird system for many years and are very thorough. I've also hired them to mow my lawn when I've had to leave town unexpectedly. Jeremiah's crews have done a great job and always leave things tidy and cleaned up. Garrett has done the fall irrigation blowout the past several years. He takes the task seriously, is open to answering questions, and I've learned a lot just from watching as he goes through the steps. I am confident that the job is done correctly when he leaves.

Just avoid these guys at all costs they will waste your time and money. Jeremiah‘s word is not his bond to say the least.

Nelson's always sends me a fellow named Ryan, hope he never retires, he is so pleasant and always takes care of all my problems. I'm always so pleased every year when I request service and see Ryan showing up at my door. GOOD JOB RYAN 👌 Thanks, Dody Pagh Bend, Oregon

Thank You to Jeremiah and Brian for going above and beyond during the busiest Season! Had a leak, and there was rapid response, both on phone..and in showing up, so quickly. Been using them a few years now..digging new irrigation lines, maintaining and yesterday..a leak. Good on you guys, for being a GREAT business in C.O.

We hired Jeremiah and his crew to do our backyard landscaping and also some work on our front yard. It was a big job as our backyard was pretty much re-done. They did a great job especially on the NEW pavers that we had put in. Ten out of ten job. Good guys and always neat and clean. Recommend them no doubt!

nreliable on terrible communication. I've used their services for about 2 years. On April 17th, 2020 I sent Jeremiah an email telling him that we should be on his list for de-winterizing and winterizing our sprinkler system. He quickly replied on the same day telling me that they will start de-winterizing the following week. May 19 (Tuesday), still nothing. Water is still off and now we have weed taking over parts of my front yard since the grass is starting to turn brown and the weeds take advantage of that since they require less water. I get a response saying that somehow we were missed and Jeremiah asked me if tomorrow would be good. I replied less than 12 hrs later, early next morning stating that today(since I answered the email on the morning of 4/20) or anytime that week. It's now 5/26 and my water still isn't turned on. We've had communication and other issues previously. It seems to take multiple emails or phone calls for them to come, even though we should be on their list to turn off and turn on water each year. I've had times that they were supposed to show up at certain date and they are a no show without letting me know. Then someone would show without any notice. Worst of all, one time they arrived without letting me know the date that they would show up and left my gate open. The dog got out and was wondering the neighborhood. I do have kids and normally I would think that they were at fault but we have two gates. One on the north side and another on the south side of my property. The south side gate is the one that the whole family uses. The north side is more difficult to open and opens up to in front of flower beds and is more inconvenient to go through, this was this gate that was left open. Update 5/26/2020 My wife had Caudell Landscaping come because she wasn't able to get a hold of anybody. They came on the same day. When they de-winterized the sprinkler system they discovered that Nelson's did not turn off the water when it was winterized. Turns out they turned off the water just to an outside faucet that was on a separate valve but left the water to the sprinkler system on.

Called Nelson Landscape, talked with Jeremiah about not being able to turn on my sprinklers. He sent out technician, Ryan, to access the problem. Turned out to be a frozen water valve which he fixed the next day. He then made sure all of the sprinklers were functioning correctly and even repaired a few so the spray would cover my raised garden beds. Very nice man. We will definitely use them again.

Disappointed in the lack of service. Set up regular maintenance in the fall after we moved into our new construction home. Jeremiah was late to the initial appointment, should have been my first clue. After a couple months blow outs were happening & finishing up, ours had still not happened. Called and he said they were done the Friday before. They were not as we had frozen grass in the mornings. He came out and took care of it a couple days later. I asked him how we were to initiate service in the spring he said we’d be on the schedule. Spring came and nothing. Even talked to him when he was installing our next door neighbors backyard. Weeks went by, called and he said he’d put us on the schedule. The crew came out mowed, fertilized, etc. The crew lead went into my garage to turn on the sprinklers and explained when they’d go off. I left before the crew did. Came back and assumed everything was fine. We noticed the sprinklers weren’t going off when he said they were so assumed he decided to change the times. My husband checked and the box was set to off and the valve hadn’t been turned on. Needless to say we’ve hired another landscaper. Gave these guys too many chances.
