Brock met us on site and was very detailed. We were amazed at his knowledge. He is very very versed and it’s very apparent when you meet him. He truly has a passion for what he does and his vision for what is possible for the property is exceptional!
Brock was a joy to deal with. We had a 15 year old landscaped backyard from another company. They had put a large dry creek was put in for winter water drainage and there was a big concrete pad jutting out into the lawn area. We wanted to maximize the lawn area for our boys but also keep good drainage for winter. Brock and his team demoed the concrete pad, took out the creek and installed new catch drains around the existing covered patio. We wanted a simple landscape with more redwoods that would grow around the perimeter like the existing 4 we already had and we wanted a dog run area for the dogs to do their business. Brock and. K&K landscape were so great to deal with and did exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend them!
There was palpable excitement at our house while K&K was building our new fence. It turned out perfect and Brock and Darren were communicative and helpful the whole way through. I’m looking forward to working with them on more projects in the future.

2 years ago Brock and his team did an awesome job turning an area of our backyard from a dirt pile into a beautiful grassed area with a pathway to our side gate and space to plant flowers. Today I called with some follow up questions regarding lawn maintenance and inquiries about yard upkeep and Brock spent 15 minutes on the phone with me after having only mentioned he had been to my house and done some work. He answered all my questions and provided wonderful tips and suggestions to get my yard in shape this summer. I really appreciate the time he spent today and the wonderful job they did 2 years ago!
Wow! If only I could give more than 5 stars! Brock and Darren are incredible. We had to wait a couple months but it was so worth the wait. K&K Landscape started on the day they promised and finished on the exact day they said they would (even though we added a few “extras”). Our project took a full 3 weeks. Brock and Darren were here every single day. These guys had quite the task. We had put in a very extensive backyard 5 years ago and it was never right. The yard never drained properly amongst other issues. We showed Brock all the issues from the previous landscaper. He took note and really studied our yard. He made many changes and altered things to assure that this time it would be different. What a delightful experience. We had about 8,500 sq feet of lawn installed including gopher wire that was put down first! What a task. A really nice feature Brock offers is he maintains the lawn for a month after install. So, even after the job is done, we will have 4-5 more visits where they can check on things. How amazing is that!? Brock and Darren came to work every day in a different Hawaiian shirt. I told them it must because they were building my paradise. The guys smiled and laughed during the entire process. Brock would turn off his tractor or loader when I would come out to see the exciting progress. We would chat about a variety of things each day. He is such a humble and honest man. Brock is the brains of the operation always planning and organizing the day. Each day he would communicate with us what the next day would look like. Darren is the worker bee. Head down and shovel in the dirt. He’s shy at first but loves to talk about his work. Such an incredible guy. We are so thankful for his talents. There wasn’t a single time Brock told us ‘no’ or made us feel like our request was too much. His motto was always “If you don’t love it, I’ll fix it until you do”. How wonderful. We wanted to add a water feature and since my husband and I couldn’t agree on the specifics, we asked Brock to surprise us and do the design without our input. I’ve include a picture or two. He and Darren hit it out of the park. I’m sure going to miss seeing these guys everyday. I feel like I made some friends along the way. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND K&K LANDSCAPE!!!! Thank you for making our dream backyard a reality. We appreciate you both!
It's been nearly a year and all of our plants are dead or dying. I sent an email advising Brock about what I uncovered. In December, I advised Darren regarding issues on the day he came to pick up the final check. He took pictures and said Brock would be in touch with us. The irrigation was leaking and none of the plants were looking healthy. In May I went to check on a couple of the plants and found they planted them in the 3 ft of bark they used to cover up the clay they planted all the plants in. They did not use loam as the contract said. 4 of the plants survived (out of 28). One of those, I pulled in time and planted it in a container until June and then replanted in a different area. I then spent 3k to replace the irrigation that was insufficient. Now I'm spending another large sum to have someone come and tear up what's left and replant the 20 plants I purchased. We initially suspected an issue when we were told "call if you have any problem." I called and Darren showed up, not Brock. Darren took pictures and said he would pass this on to Brock. I told him, if we need to pay more to keep the plants in or shore up some areas, let me know. Again, I never heard from Brock. I recently sent an email and was disappointed that he didn't at the very least, stop by. Since then, I had another "professional" come out and he thought I paid someone without a license to do this work. I love the shapes and the initial plan with the rocks and style that K&K drew up but underneath it all wasn't anything sustainable or worthy of "growing our investment."
Impeccable service, very friendly folks. They showed up EVERY time ON TIME. They weren't the ones we originally gave the project to. The other contractor DIDN'T SHOW UP! That was a true blessing, as Brock and Darren just blew us away with their design and installation. The year-round, month-by-month instruction and care manual was a huge (free!) bonus, as it gives us peace of mind when it comes to maintaining what was installed. We are so happy that we are now discussing a "Phase II" to re-do our landscaping that was already installed for 20 years.

Brock came out to discuss what we wanted to do with our backyard. We explained what big plans we had for a large water feature with waterfall, a retaining wall, stairs, etc. He explained how the trees in the neighbors yard would grow (very large) and how that would affect the plans we had, and other problems. He talked us out of a lot of work, which was unnecessary. The project got much smaller an more affordable.
Brock and Darren did a great job on my front lawn area. It was a dead space that had zero energy and was mostly just an annoyance to clean up. K & K got rid of the lawn and the hedge and made a nice path through some newly planted fruit trees that are on an irrigation system. Everything is sill new but the way the yard has been opened up and the promise of the nice little trees that are blossoming has raised the vibes of the property big time. To start, I was really flaky about when I could get the project done and what the project would even entail because Im also working with a contractor on another project at the house and Im also saving budget to paint the house. Brock was very patient with me while I got my idea and project together even through a few big changes and re-quotes. He didnt make me feel bad about having to take a step back and cut back on the project some to do what I can this year. Before we broke ground I was really apprehensive about tearing out some plants but Darren was also very patient with me and talked me through it and made me feel good about the project. And everything he said was right. The property looks better in all the ways he said it would. I didnt have the vision and he helped me see it without making me feel silly or weird for being apprehensive. There were a couple of things that came up but I hesitate to even call them issues because the response was so quick its more accurate to call them adjustments. And none of these adjustments meant an adjustment of price. I was quoted a price and that is what the project cost, no horsing around. These guys care about getting it done right and getting you to feel right as quickly as possible. Great customer service.
Brock was great to talk with about our backyard. He didn t try to sell us on landscaping that wouldn t give us a return on our investment and was honest with how we could get some of the landscaping done in the yard with or without his help. Would definitely recommend K&K Landscaping!
I had an incredible experience with K & K landscapers. Heres why you should hire them too: 1) Though Im enthralled by plants, I know nothing about growing them. Brock approaches landscaping with the passion of an artist. Both him and Darren are really kind and never talked down to me or regarded my questions as dumb. 2) They also provided me with a super helpful, painstakingly-made binder of instructions on how to take care of my yard and lawn month by month. 3) I can be a bit perfectionistic and had a specific vision. Brock and Darren were very flexible and professional and kind about it. They worked closely with me to make it a reality, even when it inconvenienced them or when it required a few tweaks. 4) We have a large Oak Tree I was worried about disturbing. Brock knew exactly how and where to put in our lawn so as not to aggravate it. 5) My lawn and yard look amazing and with their helpful binder, I feel equipped to keep it that way!

Brock and Darren with K&K were wonderful. They were friendly, professional, timely, and communicated well throughout the whole process of landscaping our backyard. Im not great with designing spaces, so I greatly appreciated the fantastic ideas from Brock re: what we could do with the space. High quality work, it turned out BEAUTIFUL! They also came back and checked on the sod after it settled a bit, and replaced patches as needed. I cannot recommend them enough, and fully intend to utilize their service again when needed. 10/10 highly recommend!
K&K landscaped our backyard 2 years ago. Recently, we had irrigation issues. Brock responded quickly and Darren came out to fix it right away. It ended up being part of the system put in when the house was built and not by K&K. They still took care of it. This company s customer service can t be beat!
Without a doubt 5+ star rating!! They did a superlative job with both our front and back yards. The design is exactly what we wanted, fire protection, low maintenance, drought/deer resistant, and gorgeous to boot. Our backyard had extremely compacted soil that wouldn t drain properly. Brock and his crew removed a good amount of top soil and built back up with loam and fresh sod. Couldn t be more happy with The work from K&K. Professional, honest and fair. Would highly recommend.

Working with Brock and his crew was an amazing experience. We needed to get a fence installed around our new pool area but had certain specifications that we wanted. They were able to give us a first rate product in a very timely manner. We love the design. They re guys were here every day and even came in on a Saturday to finish up the job. Brock and his team recently landscaped our backyard. Brock met with us several times and came up with a plan that we loved. Kateley & Kristiansson recently completed a full landscape of the front and back yard of our property. Brock is very professional and true to his word. Brock was helpful with ideas to convert the landscaping to help conserve water with drought tolerant plants and update the older, wasteful irrigation system. The job was completed ahead of schedule, to the estimate price and looked fantastic! They followed through with every detail of the project and were also respectful of neighbors and worked carefully to not cause disruptions. When Brock came and gave us our estimate, he arrived at time promised and when we explained what we wanted (which would of been much more expensive) he suggested much simpler landscaping which suited our place much better. His professionalism is outstanding, he provided proof of insurance and worker comp without us even requesting it, something you dont see in todays work field.
