Would NOT recommend! Mediocre work and does nothing but run away and make empty promises to show up then bails last moment saying oh next day...next day comes and its the next day..you get it

JTs redid my whole property inside and out to sell and increased my value by 140k I spent 25k this is before realtor and after realtor came and gave pricing to sell we sold and got 40k over thanks JTs advice and workmanship his guys are awesome and any questions were all answered if JT was not there FaceTime was available and all was quick and efficient I would believe these negative reviews with a gran of salt we moved away, but I would definitely use him if he was willing to travel out of state thank you JT for all your hard work

JT and the guys, showed up on time, were very respectful and considerate to our property. They have what most contractors/landscapers LACK!!!!! Attention to detail!!! They will go out of their way for you!!! They don t surprise you at the end of the project with a ton of hidden extras. I run and maintain a facility in the greater New Jersey area. I got so fed up with the previous contractor I had!!! All I ask is to get exactly what I am paying for!!!! Hands Down I d recommend him and his employees to anyone!!! JT is a honest hard working guy finally someone that gets Attention to Detal Thanks again JT, I look forward to future projects!!!!

Dont waste your time unless you have time to waste. Getting someone to get back to you is a consistent challenge --- from getting an estimate to finally getting some of the work done. Had a seal coating done on my driveway-- didnt even bother to put a tape blocker on the end of the driveway to prevent someone from entering it while wet. Worst service & customer service I have ever experienced.

Never showed up, never contacted to inform us about unable to show up, never followed up to reschedule and I had to take a day off because of this. Not a prime quality business. Will update if anything changes. Owners response is a pure misinformation. As I mentioned, I was at home all day, which means I was working in the front and backyard, so there is no way I could have missed him. There is no fence in the front or back. My VM is never full.

I called this guys over to do a flower bed for me about over 3 months ago. He stopped looked at front yard and told me he that he could turn this I to a great place for my kids to play. Not having a backyard for my kids to play I thought that was a great idea. Even though the contract that we signed said no deposit he came back and told me that he needed some money to buy the trees so I gave it to him because I wanted the job to get done so that my kids can enjoy the new playset that I bought which by the way is still in the garage. Once he got the deposit a couple weeks went by and I never heard from. When I finally called home he told me that he was coming in a certain day but never showed up. He came back one days to cut some trees, had his friend dump grinded trees on my loan saying that he needed it to build the burm for the new tree. To make a long story short as of today it had been 4 months since we signed the contract. He showed up once, sent a couple of one other occasions and never came back. Now my yard looks 10 times worst than it it before I hired him. My advise to honest advice to anybody looking to hire him is...DONT!!!! No matter how good he make the project sound and what he promises. Im just upset that I have him half the money upfront. First of all sir, it took you 4 years to respond, which doesn t surprise me one bit based on my previous experience with you. Second of all, that summer was no hotter than any other summer and I m not sure what that had to do with you finishing the job or at least communicating with me as to why the job couldn t be completed. You re a professional landscaper, the bulk of your work is done in the summer months, so I m not sure what the temperature had to do with ANYTHING. None of the thing you mentioned in your response was EVER comminuted to EVER!! Once you decided not to show up, I left you voicemails after voicemails, I sent you text messages your phone, I sent you private messaged on your Facebook account and not once you got back to me until now. What do you mean by I am sorry you feel this way ? You took half of my money, left my front yard looking 10 times worse than when you set foot in it. So, tell me how else am I supposed to feel? An what do you think you can do at this point when I basically had to pay someone to clean up the mess you left and to do the job YOU were hired to do? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT DO YOU THINK COULD DO? I m very curious.

They are fast and efficient, and prices are fair. I would definitely do business with them again!

JT and his crew did a great job with spring cleanup and fixing up our shed roof. The backyard has never looked better!

JT s Lawn and Landscaping did a spring cleanup for us this weekend: they trimmed all the bushes and trees, edged all the beds, mulched everywhere and even disposed of a wrought iron railing left from our old front steps. The team did a great job and left our yard looking perfect and ready for spring. Thanks Jim!

James was very responsive and was even able to start my landscaping job earlier than expected. His workers came in and cleaned out my gardens, trimmed hedges and reseeded my grass.

James and his recently replaced my front walkway with a beautiful paver design as well as some lawn work around the house. Great and timely work all around.

Referred by a neighbor, we asked JT to take down 3 trees and install a new backyard patio. JT did a wonderful job on the patio, trees and reseeding our yard. His crews were courteous, respectful and cleaned up afterwards. We could not have been happier. We will certainly reach out to JT for any future jobs.

The never showed up when you call they keep saying coming. 3 days calling keeps telling me coming in a few minutes same answer for 3 days. Unreliable

I got my door frame fixed by JT. Excellent service, no words can fully describe the professionalism exhibited by JT and his crew.

JT did our front walkway and backyard patio after grading and adjusting the slope for proper drainage. James explained what should be done and how it will be done in detail, and was clear about all the work. He could be reached easily and quickly whenever we had questions. They did a beautiful job and completed all work on-time. The crew is very professional, reliable and know what they are doing. Perfect workmanship. Highly recommended.

We called JTs because we had an old paver stone pathway that needed repair or replacement. Jim from JTs is a visionary-- he not only provided several possible solutions for that problem, he also identified additional ways to enhance and improve our property during the project. Most important to my husband was improving the overall drainage and grading of the yard. Most important to me was improving the curb appeal and making the front of the home more welcoming. Jim designed a plan that ticked all of those boxes! His crew was friendly and respectful and left the yard clean when the work was complete. Very happy with our completed project.

Very pleaded with JT and crew with my landscaping project. We had removal of plants and rock bed and stump ground out to replace with topsoil and grass seed. Also replace new stone on another part of lawn area. under ground plants, very neat job

This is my second year using JTs Lawn & Landscaping. In addition to their regular lawn cutting, theyve installed a patio, mulched garden beds, and done complete yard cleanups. The crews are efficient and courteous. Im very happy with their service.

Our outdoor projects were just completed by JT and his crew and we are very happy with the job that they have done. The projects included replacement and extension of existing concrete patio with pavers, leveling of the backyard, fixing the stairs to the patio, fixing the stairs to the front entrance, trimming of a tree and replacement of front path to sidewalk as well as to driveway. It was an extensive project and we didnt know quite to expect. I had posted in Somerville Community Facebook page for recommendations and JT came highly recommended. We contacted a couple of the suggestions and he was the most prompt and professional. He came to assess the situation and provided really good suggestions (different than we had initially thought). It made sense to do what he said and we appreciated the advice. He was not pushy, however, just spoke with conviction and promised we would be happy with the results. He provided an estimate with details and provided it quickly. When the work actually started, he brought his crew and they were great. They were hard working, detail oriented and took pride in their work. There was a lot going on at once but they stuck to the schedule (came early and stayed late). We made adjustments along the way and they were happy to oblige. We were very impressed by the scope of what they could do. The tree trimming was a last minute add because we didnt know they could do such a job. Its pretty clear that they have extensive experience by the ease in which they took on each project. The price was reasonable and it was completely worth it because they did the work in a short time (over the course of 3 weeks, 2 weeks of allowing materials to dry and 1 week of actual work). I am in a firm believer in you get what you pay for because of the quality of work, diligence and professionalism . I always look to see if the workers are happy and that is the sense I got with them. I would definitely recommend this company if you have outdoor projects. We thought we had some pretty odd requests and were pleasantly surprised at how they tackled them.

This company is the most unprofessional company we have ever hired. They emailed the wrong address. No problem we resolved the issue and paid them only to have them up and disappear for 4 weeks. Stopped answering phone calls and emails. Save your money find someone else.

We would recommend JTs. He came quickly after I called for an estimate and fixed my torn up yard. It looks beautiful now. We even received a few compliments from our neighbors. Fair prices and professional employees.

I was having an issue for a couple of weeks that I needed to get taken care of. I saw their trucks near my house and contacted them via email when I got home. Although he did call me back promptly after leaving a message expressing interest in landscaping, he showed up at my house drunk for the appointment, spray pink lines on my property even after I asked him not to and then never called or sent me a quote. Would not recommend.

JTs Lawn & Landscaping service is the best, not only did he do a incredible lawn service for me but also for my mom. He does get very busy during the nice weather and I advise you book him early in the season. So he can schedule you in.

They are great workers and have helped me out a bunch. I think that they do a great job. They are very ardent, as individuals. I recommend them a lot.

Have know Jim for many years myself and many people in my family use him for a variety of things any time we have needed anything always there and goes above and beyond for us would highly recommend

JT did a very big masonry job at my house. My entire driveway and backyard is finished with beautiful red brick pillars, pool house, & cobblestones. It is absolutely perfect. I bought my house already finished, so i didnt know that the backyard & driveway was finished by JT until i connected with him on instagram. He reached out to me because he recognized my backyard in a picture i posted. When i looked at the house for sale, i was so sure that i wanted to buy it i told my realtor not to let anyone else onto the property; and i paid my deposit in cash, to out bid the other people looking at the house ( my house was on the market for one day before i bought it and had to out-bid other buyers!). The reason i was so sure i wanted it was because of the masonry work in the backyard. I knew it was high end, and done the right way. My father even told me that he had been looking at this house for years waiting for it to hit the market, because he also has always admired the work done outside.

Very disappointed in this place we had an appointment on sat we were told then that the owner was coming at 12 give or take 30 minutes we rearranged our schedule to meet with him but he never showed up We decided not to even call them to see where they are because as a professional he could have given us a call and told he got tide up or was running late but we were not extended that courtesy my wife even text them yesterday saying all this again no response I m not sure why so I m left to assume our job was too little for a big time player in the landscaping business like JTs even though he never even talked to us about what we wanted done so if your looking for a landscaper who will show up to get new business I would suggest looking elsewhere

After calling three landscaping companies that were highly recommended by a local community Facebook page, one never called me back, one called me a week later, and the owner of JTs Lawn & Landscaping called me that very day. Within three days he was at my house with a plan to remove and install a new walkway, replace my driveway, and clear out the old shrubs and bushes, and plant new ones. Because of the rain, work was delayed several times, but the owner was constantly on the phone with me, letting me know his schedule. In good time, everything was finished to our satisfaction. Both the owner and crew were very professional, helpful, and honest. We highly recommend their services, and will be using them in the future.

JT is a bum with all junk equipment. I live by his storage yard and it s his employees overdosing or someone over dosing every week. Google the company name and it s not good.

my basement was flooded earlier this year and we contacted a couple of vendors to make some remedies of our backyard water issues, Jame is extremely helpful when contacted him and he showed up next day and talked with us about the ways of how to fix the problem. We found his proposal is very professional and the price is reasonable, he came up with projects within our budget and started arranging the work next week before the next store arrived. we are happy with the work he has done and will recommend his service. This guy came over, later emailed an estimate, and we hired him, but he never showed up. Wasted an entire weekend, when he kept saying he would come, but didnt even return a call or text. Stay away!
