My sprinkler system in my backyard was not working for months which caused the grass to dry up and the soil to harden. Designers Touch Landscaping fixed the sprinkler system, removed the hardened soil, and planted high quality grass. Now my backyard looks nice and clean. Ive called DT Landscape for 2 emergency projects/jobs in the last couple months. 1. Raising our brick wall after a thief jumped over our wall and stole our portable speaker from our backyard. 2. On 06/25/24 our sprinkler valves were leaking a lot of water and our main shutoff valve/water pressure regulator had corroded over the years of water damage. Designers Touch did a spectacular job of landscaping my large property 10 years ago, and Ive employed them many times since. Danny is an artist, and I always trust his landscaping decisions. Most recently, while doing a great job of planting a new tree for me, a water valve broke elsewhere in my yard. Just the opposite: I ve been amazed by how quickly they worked. Three days from start to finish. They removed my old lawn, put in new irrigation (including moving the valves under ground), put in concrete curbing, and installed new sod (AG Sod Ballpark which is hybrid Bermuda, mixed with rye and bluegrass). And the most important thing is their great communication, professionalism, and friendly service. For the past three years, I walked to my sliding glass door, slid open the shutters to my backyard and cringed at the sight of hard packed dirt where lush green grass once laid. My gaze climbed north to the nearly rot hedge that provided a bit of privacy from the neighbors behind us. Slowly, my eyes moved east to the dark brownish-reddish, unserviceable bar-b-que pit, to the nicely constructed flagstone cap that surrounded the pool, thinking, I gotta do something with this backyard. A year prior to contacting Designer s Touch Landscape, I received a quote for my backyard from another licensed landscaper, ML&JP Landcape. Unfortunately, no financing options were available with ML&JP Landscape, so after searching online for licensed landscapers in my area, Designer Touch Landscape s excellent reviews caught my eye. I perused the Designer s Touch Landscape, looking intently at their portfolio of previous work - I was sold. I clicked on the financing option button, completed the paperwork with the contracted financing company, Lyons Financial, and in a few days received an approval letter for a personal loan for my backyard. Meanwhile, I emailed the company of my desire for a backyard estimate. In days, Philip was at my door and the rest is history. I appreciated Philip s attention to detail and receptiveness, the 3-D mockup of my backyard prior to work commencing was AWESOME and the cherry on top was the excellent quote. This company is very efficient, they get jobs done quickly. General yard cleanup done very well. I especially appreciate the attention to detail. They removed a trash tree and stump that was a nuisance. They trimmed the bushes, even the underside of the bushes and cleared away weeds and old leaves that were hiding beneath them. They cleared away all the old leaves that had accumulated in various places of the yard. I am very pleased with how the yard looks, it would have taken me weeks to accomplish what they did in hours!

After the rains of this last winter my xeriscaped front yard was overtaken by weeds. Also, after a few years of having this installed some touch ups were needed. Designers Touch did an AMAZING job. My front yard now looks as good as new. They removed all the weeds, pulled out dead plants and replaced them with some of my own, trimmed bushes, and replaced rock and reformed rock areas. Also, they did the job in one day and only to days after I arranged for them to do this. I would 100% recommended them.

We called and scheduled an appointment and met with Daniel (we met with him a couple of times due to more ideas and changes) who asked the right questions for us to be able to design a front yard that fit our needs and budget. When we asked to make changes to our project, his response was always no problem . Once we scheduled a date, the whole Designer s Touch team took our front yard from dead grass to a drought tolerant, low maintenance landscape in ten days. They cleaned and prepped the area thoroughly, installed the artificial turf, a new irrigation system, a new lighting system, additional drainage, concrete steps, curb crafting, and planted beautiful trees and flora. Danny was constantly at the worksite and the team always left the area clean at the end the day. Our phone calls and emails were addressed immediately, and Tina was very fast with accounting. This is the Boeing Plaza at Lancaster Boulevard and Sierra Highway. I drove by it and I was so Amazed I accidentally stepped on my brakes!!! It looks so beautiful.

DT did a wonderful job designing and installing my yards. I am retired and cant take care of the yard anymore but I do enjoy having a great area both in the front and back. My neighbors had their front yard done by another contractor and the quality doesnt compare. The choice of plants, the layout, the colors work so well together. The fake river I have in the front is actually dug into the ground and designed to look like a nice stream and if it ever rains enough, I will have little stream to put paper boats in! My neighbor? They threw some rocks down in the shape of a river - it sucks compared to mine. I threw a party afterwards and there were a lot of positive comments! I am still waiting to have some fruit trees because I was wisely told that installing in the middle of the summer is risky for the trees. Dont be taken aback at the price. You can go cheap and get a stupid river like my neighbor, or you can pay for people with experience who know what they are doing, have a professional crew, and work efficiently. My neighbors yard is fine. But mine - is great!

Designers Touch Landscaping did an absolutely fantastic job on my lawn. A lot of places wont actually landscape your land or put as much effort into the design as Designers Touch will. They are a small local business, so that said, when you order services they wont be done from contract-signing to completion as other places, however you wont be disappointed by what you get. My timeline, and this is with the knowledge that 2022 was an over-active year due to the drought restrictions and I signed up later in the year (after a lot of people had already booked): I signed up and got my initial plans/comments 2 weeks later. Once they got to me in the queue it took 2 days to do everything, and I mean everything! My lawn was dead, dry, and pretty hard to work with (I tried earlier that year) and they took out everything, landscaped, did bubblers/soakers, and holes for plants in 1 day, and the rocks, plants, woodchips, etc, the second day. Through the process they were very receptive, despite me being away most of the time and extremely friendly. Highly recommend, especially if you want to support a local business and dont want your yard looking like a flat pile of dirt.

We had Designers Touch remove the old bark dust and weed barrier fabric from our backyard flower beds and replace it with new weed barrier fabric and rocks (gray cobble with a wave of black volcanic rock). I worked with Daniel and the Designers Touch team to refurb and tear down some old, dilapidated sheds and a gazebo in my backyard. They also removed and replaced my xeriscape (front yard) and improved the overall curb appeal of my home. They updated / modernized my existing sprinkler system and swapped over to some bubblers for a few trees in the front and back yards. When one of the valves in the sprinkler system sprung a leak, they came back and repaired it - with no issues. Overall, Im very happy with their work at a really reasonable price.

Designers touch is the best landscape company in southern California. I had my backyard done by them two years ago. I had a sprinkler pipe under the cement break in the front yard unrelated to the work they had done previously. In a panic I called them and they came out immediately and resolved the problem like it never happened. We needed to change out a very steep, slippery staircase out our back door. DT had done the rest of our backyard 14 years ago and did great. This new stair was done with great craftsmanship. When the iron guy measured for the railing he said the two stair angles matched perfectly at 22.5 degrees. We love our new stairs! Highly recommend their work.

Another 5-Star review for Danny, Tina and Todd! The only one in the AV willing to reply to a voicemail/message requesting an estimate in minimal time. The workers worked tirelessly in the heat of early July, were on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. Todd (sales) replied to all texts and Danny (owner) made multiple visits to ensure all was going as planned. You may find less expensive, unlicensed and uninsured but, you probably wont find a better team from landscapers to cement workers to owners providing peace of mind and an excellent product. I am updating my 5 star review of Designers Touch after some more time interacting with these guys! I will keep my original review under this one. I now wish I could give them MORE than 5 stars! After helping guide us through the whole process, getting to know us as people and doing an incredible job on our landscaping, they STILL keep in contact with us! They check up on our property to make sure everything is happy and healthy. They are by far the easiest contractor company to get ahold of that I have ever worked with! They are always happy to answer my endless questions and inquiries about how to take care of our awesome new yard. They were even happy to help me fix something I messed up!! We were tired of pulling the endless weeds that were coming through all the rock and wood chips which the previous owners and contractors had put in. We wanted everything completely redone. We looked around online and found Designers Touch landscaping. It looked like they did nice work based on the pictures on their website, so we gave them a call. Phillip came to our home to give us an estimate. He was punctual, professional, friendly and funny. We told him all of the different ideas we had and he took measurements for us. When he returned the next day with our estimate, we were impressed with the professionalism of the estimate. The packet even came with a copy of their insurance information. We really liked that. We ended up making countless changes. We wanted one thing, then another, then something else... we really weren t sure exactly what we wanted honestly. Phillip was really patient with us and helped us formulate a great plan. We liked him so much we decided to sign a contract. We were impressed with how fast everything moved. They were able to start faster than they originally thought, which was awesome. The guys worked hard and fast. Everyone was polite and professional. During the process, we met the owner, his wife, and phillips brother. Everyone in the family was very professional and very polite. The owner Danny came by frequently throughout the construction process to check on his guys, and to make sure we were happy every step of the way. Danny had ideas that we hadn t even thought of, and we trusted him to do what he thought would look best, and we are sure happy we did! Phillip was always ready to respond to us via text or phone call, and believe me, we were in contact with him constantly. This family run business was referred to us by friends a few years back when we had them handle the removal of a large tree and front yard makeover complete with tinted, stamped concrete and steps. There was no hesitation to call them back on our most recent requested project for a multi-tree removal and complete clean-up of our backyard. The crew were friendly, efficient and thorough. The owners and the employees were fantastic and did an amazing job. They listened to our needs, designed, and then created a beautiful backyard that we will enjoy for years. They installed a great artificial turf lawn with trees, shrubs, flowers, and a beautifully unique gabion wall. They also built a wonderful dog run where the dogs have their own space to relax. Despite a small delay on building the wall (which was a supplier issue), all the other work was done very quickly. They didnt just have one or two employees working, they would send over several and get the work done quickly. That made the entire process easier on the family (kids and dogs). Overall, a great experience which now allows us to enjoy the backyard!

These guys are true professionals! They installed our front and back yard within 2 weeks! Their prices are very competitive and their service is exceptional. Even after the install the staff is promptly available for help. They always get back to me the same day if I have any questions or concerns. Designers Touch is a trustworthy outfit who did some major work for us two years ago and continues to show their support over the years. I had a hill in my backyard that was badly eroded. They worked with me and my budget to come up with a design that prevented additional erosion and also make it beautiful to look at. This actually deserves 10 stars!!! After some research and a couple of estimates, I am so happy I found this company. It s been a blessing working with this family and they definitely went above and beyond to meet my needs. Tina also sped up our project after learning of our time constraints. After the hard job of clearing and beautifying my front yard, they found my sprinkler system was working on three different zones and as a courtesy they replaced it, made it one zone and checked to make sure I wasn t using more water than was needed. They worked with us well within our budget and there was no break in the quality for it. Very refreshing to find a local business that is military friendly and I am definitely keeping them for future work!

Great work guys. I have heard the stories of really overpriced landscaping, and by recommendation found this company that was very reasonable. I met with Todd and Daniel and they were very polite, energetic, and willing to work with me on what I needed. They set a schedule date within less than four days and were completed with my job in just one day. Being in the construction industry myself I allowed three days for this and was very pleased to have it done quickly and efficiently and not to mention very clean. Towards the end of the day the owner came by to check on his guys work and and was also very polite and energetic. From start to finish, DT Landscape was a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive and worked with us on getting the best scope for our budget. From the time I called them to the time they finished our yard took less than two weeks. Our yard is large and started out a big mess of dirt and debris that we didnt know what to do with. The crew cleaned up the back yard and installed new sod and DG and restored our front yard to new condition. We had a great experience with Todd at Designers Touch Landscape. He was always on time, gave us quotes quickly, worked with us on the budget, and answered questions thoroughly and quickly. They removed rocks and plants and cleaned up our backyard, then installed sod with a subsurface drip system. They also installed trees and plants with a drip system. The work was started almost immediately and completed in about a week. Were very happy with the results and everything looks beautiful. Todd walked us through various plant selections. We told him generally what we were looking for and he delivered a great design. The price was a little higher than other quotes, but it was worth it for the quality of work. Were very satisfied overall.

We desperately needed to redo our backyard after having a tree removed. We decided to go with Designers Touch and get the subterranean watering system. My wife and I decided to landscape our back yard so I did some research online for licensed contractors and Designers Touch had all the current licensing so I called and made an appointment. Todd (one of the sons) came and gave us some excellent ideas since we werent exactly sure what we wanted. We decided with Todds help what we liked and he took that information and made a very professional blueprint and along with the estimate and returned with his brother to go over the plans and make any changes that we wanted while being very respectful to our wishes. We signed the contract and the work began about a week later. The entire process went very smooth and to the schedule. The entire crew were excellent and hard working. The coordination between between Designers Touch and their subcontractors were seamless and great care was taken to make sure that they cleaned up before they left each day. This is a family business and everyone involved from Tina (mom) whom we worked with over the phone and Dad coming by to make sure that things were being done to his standards to Todd and Phillip (sons) that handled the actual day to day work with their crew of workers. One more thing, when we went to their office to choose our stamped concrete patterns Todd drove my wife and I to several homes in the area to show us some of the landscaping projects that their company has done. DTL is a family run operation that runs smoothly and efficiently. We wanted to landscape and finish our Koi pond area. Tina was very responsive and able to accommodate our schedules. They can even do weekly maintenance. The subterranean sprinkler system they offer works great, no more watering the concrete. Designers Touch Landscape just completed our front yard a few weeks ago, and we think it looks amazing! We are very pleased with the work that was done, the design and appearance, and the speed and efficiency of the process. They didnt just finish by the promised completion date, they finished almost a week early. We were most impressed by the personal involvement of everyone. This is a completely family run business, and during the process we met and interacted with the whole family. The process from first visit and estimate, through design and installation was much easier than expected. Danny, the owner, and all his sons are very knowledgeable in the details of what goes into a professional landscape. From creating a design that will be one-of-a-kind and well balanced, to plant choice and guiding you as a homeowner through making the best decisions for a finished product youll be happy with for years to come, these folks know their stuff. Just to be fair, this is not the cheap route to go. If you are just trying to pinch pennies, then DT may not be the best choice for you, but if you want exceptional work and a trouble free experience that youll be happy with in the long run, then I recommend DT Landscape with two thumbs up! As an additional note, they also do landscape maintenance, which we are also taking advantage of. And so far they have proven to be consistent and reliable. Bottom line - Great people running a professional local business.

Love, love, love my new yards. My front yard was over taken by a huge tree, roots everywhere, the sprinkler system watered my cars more than my yard. Now thanks to Designers Touch I have a desert oasis with beautiful stamped concrete, water wise plants watered by a bubbler system and a splash of green with no maintenance artificial turf. My backyard is more open now with beautiful green real turf watered by a drip system...no wasted water. The professionals at Designer Touch do an excellent job from the beginning designs to the finished project.

Philip was great at getting my wife and I to agree on what to do with back yard. Not only were they very professional, they were very accommodating with the last minute changes we had. We love how everything turned out. We are looking forward to spending a told of time around our new fire pit!! It was a great experience and would absolutely recommend them any time!

Danny and the entire Designers Touch team are a delight to work with. They are extremely friendly and very reliable. After much research we decided to look at their jobs around the valley and found their landscaping to be both unique and beautiful. Exactly what we were looking for. They take great pride in their work and they are honest and trustworthy and once they started they were done in the timeframe that was stated. Customer satisfaction is paramount with them. Their estimates may be higher than others but the incredible outcome is well worth the extra bucks and always remember, you get what you pay for! My backyard is now a sanctuary! We kept them on as our gardeners and they maintain the place beautifully. I am so glad we chose Designers Touch and wouldnt have it any other way.

Danny and Todd did a great job. The entire work crew was very polite and extremely professional. They did our entire yard -- front, side, and rear. The front and side were a desert landscape theme and the rear was a combination of new sod and desert. We also had them install a subsurface irrigation system for the rear yard. Additionally, we had them install a liquid fertilizer system that is connected to the sprinkler system-- it works great. We had an idea of what we wanted and they took that idea and vastly improved upon it. No detail was too small to be noticed. I agree with some of the other reviews in that they may not be the least expensive, but without a doubt the end product is worth every penny. It is truly an outstanding family business.

We have used Designers Touch twice now, for both front and back yard. They have done a great job both times and highly recommend them. The family is great to work with we are highly satified with their work. Hopefully we will get to work with them on our new house!!

This team gave us the best experience working with a contractor. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to get the job done right. They were very tidy in cleaning up before they left the job site, that was a plus. They were on time for every appointment set and job was completed ahead of schedule. We were absolutely impressed from start to finish.

I tried to get my home renovated by several landscapers in the Rosamond area, all of them were either flaky or their quality of work seemed shoddy. Designers touch truely went above and beyond to give my fiance and I a beautiful front and back yard. I highly recommend them

Ask for Todd, I asked a lot from him but he is extremely helpful and patient. He gave me few options and allowed me to alter the design the way I wanted. This business is also military/veteran friendly, they do give discount for military, just remember to ask for it. Overall, the service is excellent, no need to waste time elsewhere.

D.T. just completed our front and backyard today and it looks great, definitely completely 180 compares to before. Their workers worked very hard to make sure it is done on time without compromising the quality of work. I no longer feel embarrassed to invite people to our house. If you are living in Antelope Valley area, there is really no reason to go elsewhere.

Designers Touch did a great job with both my front and back landscaping. I am a SUPER picky person, and I wanted something custom and done properly by experts with experience. I learned the hard way that going for the lowest bid is not always a good idea. My drainage was a complete mess, and I lived for years with the mess that caused. I needed trees removed and I wanted lighting for security. I got all this and more. I ended up with a beautiful yard that fits my lifestyle. When those heavy rains hit recently, my backyard drains emptied beautifully. PJ came up with a great design for the backyard and Danny had a great plan for the front. My backyard now has a beautiful concrete and gunite koi pod with a waterfall. I also have a lovely stamped concrete patio under my ash tree. Dannys crew expertly hid all the pipes for the pond from pretty much every vantage point. I had high quality lighting installed for security, so it looks beautiful at night too. Danny did a great design for my front yard with drought tolerant plants. I didnt want a desert scape with decomposed granite. Too blah for me. Among other things, I wanted high quality artificial turf in the front and back. Now I have a front yard with rocks, bark, turf, and big boulders that we can sit on under the tree. My path to the back gate is gorgeous with stamped concrete that matches the back. While their company tends to be pretty busy due to a loyal clientele and referrals, they will listen to you and modify their designs if you have something different in mind. If you ask, they will accommodate you! When your landscape is all done, they also have a weekly yard service. I love this because they not only clean up the yard, but they maintain my koi pond. They have a complete yard with their own equipment and employees, so they can accomplish anything you want done. While they were doing my backyard they also trimmed my trees. You cant go wrong with this company. It is owned by a great local family that does its best to give you the yard of your dreams.

Ed and Gayle D. Designers Touch, i.e. Daniel came up with an interesting design for both our front and back gardens. The front garden now has a beautiful river bed tied into the existing planters, large boulders and an abundance of different plants. The back garden is our pride and joy. Three different small patios, three different themes. English, French and Tuscan, all tied together with two bridges over a winding river bed, surrounded with lots of different plants. We can only say ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Designers Touch, i.e. Daniel,Tina, Phillip, Maurice and his team, are truly MASTERS OF THEIR TRADE. Thank you

Being the environmentalist and conservative people that we are---you know, if at all possible reusing and/or recycling as many items and products as possible, and using our natural resources wisely and sparingly, especially WATER, we had begun to water our front yard and back yard lawns and planter beds only twice a week to save a VERY PRECIOUS NATURAL RESOURCE, that, of course, being WATER. Unfortunately, with hydrating our front and back yard lawns a mere twice a week, both lawns, especially the front lawn had suffered greatly; the front lawn had completely turned yellow, much to my husbands dismay and distress, as he has always expended so much time, effort, and energy to maintain the lawns and the planter beds, even in the midst of a 4-year drought. Needless to say, my husband and I had decided to have both of our lawns removed, and to have some kind desert and drought-friendly plants and foliage installed/planted. We had discovered Designers Touch Landscape Contractors while researching online for landscaping companies/businesses; also, we had been wanting to replace our disintegrating, deteriorating driveway for quite some time, so, when Todd had come to our home to give us an estimate on the removal of the front and back lawns, the designing of our front and back yards with desert and drought-friendly plants and trees and with decorative stone and rocks, my husband had also mentioned that our driveway and walkway leading to our front door had decomposed severely; Todd had told us that Designers Touch also does concrete work, so, we had decided to have Designers Touch remove our driveway and walkway. Designers Touch had poured concrete in a beautiful Spanish Gold color scheme---gold and brown color tones; ( LOVING ART AS I DO, AND LOVING TO DRAW AND TO DESIGN MYSELF, I appreciate the use of warm and rich colors for concrete work, and ARTWORK, of course; I also have an appreciation for artistic designs that are well-balanced and well-situated). My husband and I are very pleased and very happy with the artistic and creative work that Designers Touch has provided to us; our yards have become charming and enchanting, with lovely and colorful plants and trees, and with what I call stone rivers, stones arranged in the shape of rivers, or bodies of water. Tina and Danny Tomayo, Todds parents, had shown themselves to be polite, pleasant, and receptive, especially when we had had questions concerning the project. Designers Touch does absolutely EXCELLENT WORK, but, please do keep in mind that their business is just that---VERY, VERY BUSY; PLEASE DO BE PATIENT...Vicki and Gary.

They did my neighbors backyard and we had them come out to give us an estimate top do front yard landscape. They came out Tuesday and did all the work in one day and suggested additional work and gave us a great price. Very impressed with how fast the work was done and how well the yard came out.

We want to thank Danny, Philip and the whole crew for the fantastic job they did on the transformation of our front and side yards from a water guzzling grassland into a water efficient desert oasis! We are so happy with the final results. We have a constant parade of people stopping to look at the yard and tell us how beautiful it is. I contacted Danny the owner of DT landscape to do a complete clean out of my dated backyard. Danny and his crew removed multiple pine trees, junipers, dead grass and multiple truck loads of lava rock. His crew is hard working, polite and cleaned up at the end of every day. Danny is very flexible and made sure my job was done right. Im very picky but so is he, which is great. I was very pleased with the work. I couldnt have selected a better landscape company to work with. Im very excited to start the second phase of my backyard remodel with Danny. Ill post a second update when thats complete.
