Constant rescheduling and am unable to speak with technician. When I scheduled an appointment to speak with a technician about the weeds, patches and uneven growth in my lawn (all things I mentioned when I signed up and was told would be taken care of) the technician had a 5 hour window, and then did not show up. TruGreen has wasted my time and also ignored the very thing I asked if them when I signed up. Constant Lime and moss treatment (when moss was never an issue) have not made anything better, but certainly seems to make the weeds worse. Total rip off. Im hoping to get my money back.

Technicians are friendly courteous and professional and always send emails telling us when theyre on the way. Reasonable prices and good service.

Have more weeds after there weed spray. Grass seed never grew. You can not get a manager to call you back. Terrible service, would not recommend them to anyone.

This was my first year with Tru green, I normally treat my yard myself with better results. Schedule service has been the worst looking on the app to see next service it s either blank or we it gets close to the date it does not show and I have to call to check on service. I prepaid for service and I do not feel that the quality/customer service has been of quality. Also, I have referred a few friends, I m glad that their service is good. But my service is awful.

Cory was our technician, and was very friendly and professional. He provided helpful advice and was very time efficient with his service.

I am cancelling my services with Tru green after 2 services for not being able to communicate with a supervisor about my concerns: 1) technicians does not have a time frame to come, does not ring the door bell when arrives and is missing a portion of my lawn, treating only one side of the front yard. 2) trying to talk with a supervisor but customer service is denying to provide me with a number or e-mail for local branch supervisor. 3) even if I wanted moss control on the missed portion of my lawn, the technician is applying lime for ph control. How do I know the technician was even on my yard and doing anything when I dont know when he arrives, I can not see him and I receive only an email that the treatment was completed? Was the whole lawn address or not? Nobody is contacting me so no supervisor number is provided, no direct email. It looks that they have something to hide. I am supposed to pay for something I can not see if is done or not, I can not talk with supervisor and this is the first time I am denied to know supervisor number or e-mail.

I signed up and prepaid for lawn care to include fertilizer, lime and weed control. For some reason I wasn t getting my weed control, so I called. My complaint was escalated to an operation manager who said I would get three more free services to include fertilizer and weed control. I ve received one of those services since that call. I was promised one preferred technician to service my lawn. I was sent three, for three different applications. I messaged with customer support and asked to have my account cancelled after my two free upcoming services. I said I did not want my card charged any further and I did not give them permission to charge me. I was told I needed to call after my free services were completed as they could not precancel. After this conversation my account was charged and wiped of my free applications. This company is a joke and their customer service is terrible. I would give zero stars if I could.

Cory did an outstanding job today June 4 2024. And took time to explain the process. Henry the supervisor came by on June 7 2024 and did an outstanding job getting my lawn the work it needed.

Without ever having to request services, the workers show up as planned. It s so great to get a text announcing their arrival and completion!

Worst company ever! Customer service is a joke. Have been going in circles with them for 4 weeks now trying to get our lawn treatment. They lie, they don t show up, say someone will call to correct the issue and no one calls. Customer service puts you on hold for 30-40min then says they can only put in a service request. Such a waste of my time and still not service.

The experience was awful my lawn is now dying. I havent been able to talk to any manager, everyone keeps redirecting me to someone else. We paid a lot of money for them to kill my beautiful grass. It is not moss that is black but the grass dying.

I called to get Landscaping assistance with weeds and such. I was put oin hold and after about 10 mins another person came on and had no idea what I was talking about. This is unacceptable and will not recommend them but will tell what happened

They provide barely any service so that the can come back monthly to apply some diluted product which barely works. Grass briefly turned green but it never lasted and the weeds continued. Ridiculously expensive for what you get. Its a scam.

TruGreen Lawn Care takes care of my lawn. Scheduled application of fertilizers, moss killers, iron, weed killer, etc., makes maintaining my yard easy and looking green. Im very happy with the result.

Good overall lawn chemical company

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I hired them to take care of my lawn and rose bushes. I was told by a fast talking salesman that I had grubs underneath the grass and I needed treatment right away. I agreed to a plan and they sprayed some ; not all, of my rose bushes and left. When no treatment was given the lawn I called them and was told that that treatment was an extra outrageous fee and they wouldn t do it until fall. When TruGreen would visit my property they would arrive in this huge vehicle to do absolutely nothing. A 3 minute visit and all they did was spray poison that killed my hibiscus bush. When I hired a landscaper I was told the idea of grubs killing an entire lawn was ridiculous and that he couldn t find any. Immediately, I felt duped. When I entered the contract I was told I could cancel anytime so I called them to cancel. I believed everything was ok until I checked my TruGreen online account and saw a statement where I owed them money. I called and was told to disregard that because they had not updated my account. I assumed everything was fine until I received a letter from a debt collector. This company is a total rip off. I believe they are punishing me for canceling the contract. I have sent the collector proof of payment but I m sure this will impact my credit negatively. I m so angry because the consumer has no protections in this country against fraudulent companies like TruGreen who is able to lie and ruin peoples credit and their lives. It may be too late for me, but this is a warning to you if you re reading this review. STAY AWAY FROM TRUGREEN. Believe me there is nothing Tru about this company.

My family canceled TruGreen initially because we did not feel we were getting services worth what they charged. The issue here is after cancelling, they kept sending bills. My mother called them and let them know our contract was over, and they told her not to worry about it. This was several months ago. Fast forward to now, and all of a sudden we get a Debt Collection notice over 4 invoices that were ALREADY paid. We had proof. Their excuse was there was a reimbursement from the bank and from them, so essentially they reimbursed us twice. Well, we called our bank and the bank confirmed it was TRUGREENs ERROR. Yet and still, they are holding us responsible. They sent no correspondence so that we could have addressed this before it went too far. Our advice would be to seek lawn care services elsewhere. Not only are they overpriced for the services you receive, they will subject you to one-sided contracts, make it extremely hard to cancel, then attempt to send you to collections over their misdeeds. They skate away into the sunset while you have to submit proof to the credit bureau that you are not at fault for this debt. They say were here for your lawn but really they are just here to get your money and put you through the wringer.

They save me time and energy. I get compliments on my lawn all year round.

Absolutely Appalled by the customer service with this company. Also, appalled with the fact that you can not speak to a member of management and you can not schedule any appointments. The absolute worst customer service today provided by a gal names Jay. She also informed me at the end of the call the calls are recorded. This is great so hopefully management can hear how awful she was on the line but this is also against the law. You must let someone know you are on a recorded line before starting conversation. Absolutely awful company.

My services with TruGreen have been very hit and miss. There is one guy Osbaldo who does fantastic work and I appreciate when he comes to my property. But have had Peter come to my property 2x and both were horrible.

Horrible Horrible services!!! 2mins into their work and the rest sitting outside your driveway, i do not see any improvement to my lawn, charged me so much for a very small area even after asking them to come and check the size for pricing which they did not do. I canceled my services online and I repeatedly told the customer service lady at the beginning of payments not to renew my services but still went ahead to charge me for services I never asked for because you showed up in my place!! Do not use their services, Horrible service!!

They keep plugging my lawn every year without prior authorization and then send me a big bill to pay.

Avoid this place. I called to get an estimate to aerate my yard. I declined their service because their pricing was 5 times higher than the company I used. In addition, I was called two more times by their corporate office after I had initially declined. Apparently they dont take no for an answer. Will never use them and be advised they will hound you.

I signed on with TruGreen in July 2022 for a years services. We winter in the SW for 6 months and I can honestly say, my lawn has never looked so good as when we returned this Spring. Ive been very happy with this service.

Ryan my service tech is always friendly and professional. He also makes sure he closes the gates behind him so our dogs don t get out.

The lawn care specialist was extremely knowledgeable, and educated me on the fact that I had different grasses in my lawn. I plan to reseed myself in the fall. Really appreciate the tip. He also told me about placing a tuna can on the parts of the lawn that are browning out. He suspects my irrigation system may not be quite hitting those areas enough. It was a great tip.

My lawn was looking brown from the hot summer, but after only a couple of treatments from TruGreen it bounced back. Looks full and green!

We had a TruGreen representative come to our door and explain the services they will be doing for us. Julio was very explicit in TruGreens services. He suggested we add their app to or apps. We did.

TruGreen is a company you can trust. I ve had them service my lawn for too many years to count. They re always on time & know what they re doing. In the many services I ve had performed by TruGreen over the years, only once did I ask them to redo a reseeding. They responded quickly to my concern and came back, no questions asked. TruGreen will be my lawn company as long as I own this house!

We re entirely satisfied with the efforts of TruGreen Technician Peter B., who has consistently endeavored to help our lawn look better. He is kind, attentive and offers advice for our lawn needs. However, we re not enamored of the TruGreen Corporate side, as the prescription they have designated has proven far less than acceptable; our lawn has not looked as good as it was prior to TruGreen s involvement. Our lawn is replete with dead grass zones, thinning and other maladies

Very disappointed in their customer service! I called their CS with a concern on my bill, and spoke to 2 different reps about a week apart. Each promised to give me a credit and stated it would be reflected on my account the next day. 2 months later, nothing has been reflected and Im tired of being lied to. Why would these reps act all nice, promise to offer a credit and never issue it! I would never recommend them!

Seem to be short staffed like most businesses. Disorganized in multiple departments from top to bottom.

They came once to spray for weeds, but skipped the corners of our yard. We could see where they sprayed because the middle of our yard was full of dead weeds, but the corners were still full of weeds. They no-showed the next time-no phone call/no update on the app. I called to reschedule, they no-showed again-no phone call/no update on the app. Very poorly managed and unprofessional in my opinion. Cancelled service and am waiting on a refund. Would NOT recommend this company.

I paid for their full lawn service for the last 5 years, they have consistently missed areas in my yard when fertilizing and seeding. Currently this year I have areas of lawn that are dying, a massive amount of moss and weeds in areas that I suspect they havent been covering. I called today and let the customer service agent know that I wanted them to hold the lawn overseeding and areation becuase there was to much moss and weeds and needed to know what to do, he seamed unconcerned and offered no solutions....... Bummer, I cancelled my service. Less frustration just doing it myself

They have done a great job! Really good thick green grass and I no longer have clover and Dandelions .

I am so glad we made the decision to have TruGreen service our grass. It is much cheaper and way less time consuming for us to do it. We have a large yard and after only two visits our grass looks better than ever!

My lawn looks enormously better since I started using TruGreen. Very green, full and MUCH LESS weeds (a minor few that are easy for me to manage).

I have called about 7 times to say the yard is full of weeds and clover. They have promised to come out every time, including this week! The calls are routed back east and local company wont be responsible. Wont use them again

Do not use this!! They came and worked on our neighbors yard (She was pretty upset about it), we complained and then they said it will not happen again. They added a note for the next specialist. It happened again! Then we cancelled. Then we got an email saying we have another service coming up. So we called and asked to ensure the service is cancelled as we had already cancelled it. We were assured the service was cancelled and no one will come back. The next day Trugreen technician comes and guess what! Works on our neighbors yard again!! Neighbor was not happy about it and we had a big fight. I called Trugreen again and they said we dont see the service on your account. All we can do is add a note that you no longer need a service! This is bad customer service and the technicians who come to work do not understand what to work on. I will never recommend Trugreen to anyone!

When I first noticed the color and the thickness of the yard and there were no weeds.

I started TruGreen a couple months ago, the first service they texted me a day before. From then on they never warned me again just showed up.. I have called numerous times to get the 24 hour warning as I have a large dog in the backyard. They promised it wouldnt happen and cant understand why I had not been notified. Well, my app on my phone notified me during the night (I checked my notifications on my phone the next morning) saying that service is guess what? TODAY! I have so much clover and weeds and nothing has died. I had a Tech come to my house randomly(2 weeks ago) without any warning to evaluate my lawn. My neighbors almost called the Police on him walking around. I got a text from said neighbor so I talked to him thru my camera (Chris). He then stated my lawn needs follow up service and said expect them in a week. I did tell him we need warning your coming as I had no idea they did random checks. Guess what no one showed up. I have canceled my service.

Paid for mesquito services, showed up 8 days late for our second treatment after saying our next services was due on tye 12th of July. They have a guarantee against mesquitos and if they get bad call for a return services, so I did, got a return text response Saying theyll be back out by the end of the week, a no show, Ive sent him messages 5 days ago, not a word. He also did our lawn also but not anymore. Its sad, our yard looks great,

This happens not a first time! The specialist keeps deceiving me. On the 4th of August, the servicehe stayed lasted only 3 minutes. Only 3min!!! The camera-recorded he did almost nothing and just left, and he charged a fee of nearly $95.00 and the next day I called to cutmer service but no action has been taken so far. On August 9th he issued a fake invoice without even visiting again This is an obviously scams.all house holder need to install cameras. My plan included weed control and overseed they didnt do each visit. My lwan has a lot of weeds and yellow spots!!!

Hired them earlier this year. At first, they were great, but service has fallen off. They just havent been showing up lately. I am guessing they have staffing problems, like everyone else, but I cancelled the service, too. Why pay for non-existent service? It wasnt easy to cancel--they kept saying they would send someone in 3 days over and over, and I kept saying cancel. When reviewing the reviews below, it is obvious that whoever is publishing these answers from TruGreen has no interest in customer satisfaction. If anyone reads this and has found a good alternative to TruGreen, it would be a service to all to say who that is. PS--I wouldnt have given them one star, but this wont post unless you check that box.

I used them for over 12 years. Up until just recently they have been good. They are a little over priced but they did the job. Recently they have fallen off the deep end. I had an issue with weeds and a person said that they would take care of them. Well no one showed up. When I attempted to contact the local Puyallup I got no response. I contacted the National number and they scheduled a person to come out and do the service that had not been done for two months. They also said someone from the Puyallup office would contact me. Again never happened. The person that came out to do the service did not do the side of the house as is part of the service but they billed me for it. I was able to tell that because of the camera that I have. I am stopping my service with them.

DO NOT USE. OVERCHARGE. NO SHOW. WE CANCELED AFTER TRYING. We bought a subscription for four treatments for pest control. On the 2nd treatment, no one showed up but we received a service charge towards the 4 we purchased. How are we so sure no one showed up? We work from home with windows over the yard AND have a ring doorbell. Confirmed with VIDEO EVIDENCE no one was here. We reported it and never heard back.. For the 4th service, someone showed up! Woohoo! Then we were charged a separate $100+ fee despite purchasing a 4-treatment package. We called to get this included in the 4 treatment package. On the phone to discuss having the charge removed, the operator led the conversation with I see you purchased a 4-treatment package, but you used all them previously. Well, we have receipts from them with dates of the service. And when my wife read back the dates there were only three. Heres where it gets sketchy and I highly recommend AVOID AT ALL COSTS. the service operator said that we only bought a 3 package treatment. The story changed mid-way through the same call! No thanks, we are out. We will be disputing this with out credit card company. Last note, we still have spiders and had ants, so even without all the financial and no-shows ... does it even work?!

Dont ise them they charge you and say they didnt know if your dog was in the backyard they will burn your grass and not try to fix it when you fire them they say give us one more shot and then makes it worse when they promised to fix it never happened

Been using TruGreen for 20+ years and the service in Puyallup, Washington is horrible. They don t stay in touch when they say they will. They never complete a full service due to, they don t have supplies on their trucks and say they will return in a week to finish service when they don t. I ve used TruGreen in 3 other states and they were fabulous but in Puyallup, save yourself a lot of money and hassle and stay away from TruGreen. Their management is worthless. I m done!

Cancelled the service after 2 months because the custmer service reps you have to call and go through to discuss services and appointments. Sales rep was like a broken recording machine saying the exact same thing over and over again- for example, your card wont be charged until service is completed... was said at least 4 times in one call. Told him there was no lawn behind the house but he tried to tell me twice that there was because he was looking at the house through Google earth or something but the backyard really is all deck and shrubs. Technicians that actually do the work say stuff contrary to the call reps- for example one will say they kill crab grass and the other says the dont. Trying to schedule and reschedule appointments was frustrating because theyll leave a voicemail to tell you when your appointment will be and if that doesnt work for you then you have to call them back. Two weeks after pausing the service the technicians arrived to work on the lawn because services werent and they said I requested a re-treatment appointment. The amounts charged for the 2 visits were both more than the over the phone quote.

Great lawn/tree service. Fast and efficient. The lawn is a healthy green color and grows TOO fast and full.

Been a customer since 2020 and have been happy with the results. I buy the total lawn care package to save some money and know exactly how many treatments my lawn will get. I also participate in the easy pay to save time. Fast forward to January 2023, imagine my surprise when Trugreen shows up to perform services that I hadn t signed up for yet. My wife and I wanted to look at our finances before we committed to Trugreen for another summer. Did a live chat with Tanner from Trugreens website who stated that Trugreens new billing practices include automatic recurring treatments for existing customers. If the customer doesn t want the treatments or wants to buy the Total lawn care package for a lower price, then the customer has to cancel at the end of the year and reorder during the spring. I bought the package to know exactly how many treatments getting and paying for more than I need. I shouldn t have to cancel to stop Trugreen from starting up again with me before I decide if I want to continue. Tanner with Trugreen offered a 20% discount for the total lawn care package for my inconvenience. The total would be $501 which is $112 more than last year with nothing new add. I told Tanner to cancel my account and I ll be making a complaint with the Washington State Attorney Generals office. I like Trugreen but their new billing practice is awful.

#1, the Customer Service is Horrible! When you try to call your on hold for over 30 min and end up talking to someone in Georgia that could care less about you and where you live. #2 When I finely get through, they said they just forgot about our service and it was skipped! WHAT! #3 There is NO follow up and trust that they are doing what they say they do to my lawn. The last time they were out they only did half my lawn after watching our outside video cameras. They need to get their act together and become a real true green company!

My grass has never looked this green or lush. I had my doubts that my grass would ever look good, but TruGreen has made that happen. Im so happy that I decided to use their service.

Where have you been?! You havent been out to my house since March. My May and June applications have been mysteriously canceled. No one at the local office answers the phone any more. Calls are always routed to offshore call centers where women at home with foreign accents in foreign countries tell me they cant escalate calls because theres no supervisor to direct me too. Ive been a customer of yours since 2001 because my yard is in a neighborhood with bad weed problems and the applications have helped control them. To be honest, I have experienced scheduling issues with you guys in the past few years but is has NEVER been this bad. In fact, searches on the net have revealed that this appears to be a systemic problem with the company. Maybe corporate decided to make some changes in scheduling and billing due to Covid but it appears to be failing everywhere. People are missing appointments and getting billed for them anyway. I know that middle managers are stuck when the higher ups screw things up like this but youre going to lose local customers if you dont fix this.

Chem Lawn had me pre-pay for a year of service for monthly maintenance. Since November 2020 (and today is June 24, 2021) they have come out twice. I called on June 16th to cancel my service and request a refund. They said they would process, to date I have seen no refund, and when I called again today, she was friend apologized that it had not been processed and offered to re-submit. Lets see what happens?

Beware, this may not be a legitimate business. Much like the other recent reviewers the only customer service is overseas and they have nobody to escalation to and have very little knowledge. They have scheduled us twice now and nobody has come out and nobody notified us that they werent coming. Twice now we have waited around at home during their five hour arrival window and nobody has showed. I am now sitting on hold for over 20min for a third time only to speak to someone else who yet again will probably reschedule us only for nobody to arrive. Total waste of our time and were very disappointed that they took our personal information, credit card information, and yet never contacted us. Whats the deal with this company?

I had used TruGreen in the past in Texas and had recently moved to Washington. I couldnt get my lawn to do anything and it kept dying. They have come in with a care treatment that is enhancing my existing lawn. Now all the weeds and moss are gone so hopefully as I reseed this fall it will take off next season.

I purchased yearlong monthly treatment. Well, it s august and they have been here 3 times. Tomorrow will be the 3rd time rescheduling a treatment after 2 times of technicians not being licensed to treat weeds. I have spent a crazy amount of time on hold. This is so not worth it. I ll do it myself.

I hired this company actually I typed in Scotts Lawn care and this company came up thinking I was hiring Scotts I accidentally hired them. My mistake. I hired them because I was not going to be able to care for my yard pro a period of one year or so. So I hired them to maintain my yard reseed and fertilize. My yard was green with single blade grass. After a year all I have in my yard is grass that in on a round shaft and and is not what I believe is what a residential yard should have as grass. Tehy are supposed to fertilized my grass. They fertilized the side of my house with spray up to five feet onto my exterior wall. I complained about thier servide and twice they told me they would have someboduy call me but nobody ever called nor left a message. This is the worse lwan service company you could ever get. They are probably good for mowing pastures. but other thatn that they are worthless

We say an add on facebook about the service we entered our information at 4am and between 7 to 7:30am we get a call and it was True Green the sales person lead us to believe that we would get everything we needed. They do not do what they say.

I have never used this business, but I keep getting automated calls thanking me for my business. I wish they would stop!

Yesterday I found one of your people that helped themselves into my backyard. My dog wanted to tear him apart. Ive never heard of your service and it turns out he was on the complete wrong street. Next time, try knocking on a persons front door.

My first year with them was Amazing! Healthiest lawn I d ever had. But year two not so much.

**Update** I dont know if it was the email I sent them or the two phone calls but I received a call and they scheduled me. Stated they were having staffing issues. They havent been out to our home (Bonney Lake WA) since the end of June. Called about a month ago and I was told she would let dispatch know and I believe mentioned she would give me 50% off my next lawn treatment. My account still doesnt show when the next service will be. I really love my lawn when they have been here, but if they are having an employee issue, let us know so we can treat our own lawns.

They take care of everything - I dont have to remember (or know) when to apply what. It looks great!

My trees look better than ever since I started using TruGreen. My treatments are all scheduled - I dont have to do a thing!
