Poor quality, not recommended

Very bad attitudes and poor work ethic. There is not much care to impress anyone.

We had Weedman but stopped the service when we tore up the backyard. I called to start up but found them too expensive and unwilling to negotiate.

DO NOT TRUST THiS COMPANY!!!!!We scheduled a service. They cam out. I was there when they arrived, but had to leave for work. They started as I left. Then were gone six minutes later. Didnt do anything they were supposed to and were caught on camera not doing it and just packing up and leaving. Call management didnt cate wouldnt send them back out, didnt want videos, and gold us we were lying and they will take there guys word even though we have video evidence nothing was done.

We utilized their TurfBot service. Installed the bots middle of July 2022. Signed a CONTRACT for $350/month. Summer into Fall were great. They even came out every two weeks to provide weed whacking. Much appreciated. However, it s time to get them up and running. One tech came out a month ago and said there was an issue with the front lawn bot and they would return to fix the issue. A month later, no one has called us. We ve been calling and getting the same run around (a tech will call us, we re short staffed). I called today and was told that our property was no longer doable. Managed advised that we received a deal last year because it was their first year. We didn t know. She then said that she can increase to $700/month and then our property would be doable. She did offer to have someone do our first mow. Thanks, but we didn t take her up on it. Cost is not an issue, it s the unprofessional team members and lack of customer service and communication. Needless to say, they re coming to retrieve their equipment tomorrow. I even left a review of my experience on their FB page, within five minutes, it was removed. Update regarding Kassidy (Manager) response to my review. It was determined two days ago (April 19) that our property was no longer doable. I called at 1:30pm (April 20) and had to find out. We didn t receive a phone call or an email making us aware. We were also never told it was their first year or first lawn to use turf bot until yesterday. We understand if our property is not doable. Things do happen. But, at least have the courtesy to communicate with your clients on any updates. I was also advised there was a second property that was no longer doable. I hope they received communication. As I mentioned above, cost was and is not an issue for us.

Changing my previous review with WM Lawn care to a 5 star review. The owner called me directly in response to my initial review and there was a misunderstanding regarding my last service and now we are on the same page. Having the owner directly call me to discuss a better communication plan going forward is an extremely valuable trait and demonstrates exceptional customer service. Beware! This company is awful and I will NOT do business with again. To start off they showed up 3 hours early without notice (luckily I was home) and to top it off the crew damaged the corner of my new shed. I reported this to the management with a photo and ring camera footage of the incident. I was asked by the service desk what they could do to make things right. I asked for a discount on the bill and was told Id hear back after a discussion with the manager. Well I never heard back and I was billed the full $200! Sorry I had to leave this review!

I called them twice to get an estimate emailed over to me. They haven t gotten to it yet . If they take this long to send an estimate, I wonder how their service would be and how many times I would have to call in for them to come ! Negative

I get generic weed and fertilizer treatment. I get no answers as to treatment availability for pythium blight. I asked the tech, who didn t know. The tech had someone who didn t know anything about pythium blight call me with only prices for generic fungus treatment. That person said she would talk to her supervisor, but I never heard back. In the meantime, pythium blight is ruining my lawn.

I wanted to give it more time, but had such inconsistent results as well as technicians. The individuals coming to the house often did the bare minimum I have cameras, so I know. Meanwhile, although it takes time, my neighbors have had better results in less time with another provider who costs the same. Felt like I wasted my money for the quality of the service.

I had the service for over a year. My Neighbors in a patio home community started a different service at the same time. Theirs does look a bit better. My lawn has improved 50%. I did the lime treatment they recommended. The lawn is a much deeper green, less weeds, but not perfect by any stretch. I cancelled the service in the beginning of April because it looked horrible, but a few weeks went by, put in some effort as well with weeding etc. Overall my front lawn has seen 50% improvement after a year of service. I think it is good to note, that it s lawn vitamins basically. Still needs all the manual effort a lawn requires to make it amazing, but the weed man made a quite a difference!

Weed man arrived on August 3 when I was not home. When I left the house in the morning, the lawn was lush and beautiful. When I returned, huge swatches of lawn were brown and burned. I called their office, and they said the problem was heat stress which didn t make sense as the burned sections appeared within a four hour period. I have cancelled my contact but am disgusted with both their lawn treatment and their diagnosis of the resulting damage.

Do not look any further than Weed Man for all of your lawn needs. We used their wonderful services in NC and we are currently using then in Northern Virginia. Fantastic company all around and their customer service is amazing.

Weeds, especially crab grass continue to expand throughout the yard.

It s easy to give them 5 Stars when they give you the nicest yard in the neighborhood. Thick and green and most importantly no weeds. My neighborhood is littered with weeds in my neighbors yards and ours stays weed free. Highly recommend The Weedman!

A++ customer service! Did core aeration and reseeding with them last fall. Even after post treatment, always there and willing to listen and provide you with great advice/recommendation. The owner is super friendly and professional. Highly recommend this company!

Saw more weeds between treatments. Asked if they could treat ahead of schedule. Spray guy came very soon. Technician commented that I m cutting my grass too short, which promotes weed growth. He raised the cutting height of all 3 of my power mowers for me.

They can not be trusted. Said they came and serviced on Sunday. No sign, no call beforehand as per our instructions. Quarter work order with monthly visits. What happened to quarter meaning once every 3 months. Weeds are alive not dead.

We ve been using them in Great Falls for three years and are really happy with the results. Our lawn was brown and patchy when we moved in and it looks great now. I think the aeration and seeding is definitely worth it in this area.

For this year i am not satisfied with the weeds controlled service. Eventhough the weedman sends technician to do the work everytime you request the service but somehow the weeds are still there. Its really frustrated. I just wish that they follow up what they did so i dont have to call at all. So i am not happy about it...

I cant say enough about how much better our lawn looks after using Weed Man. It does take a while, and we did the aeration every year, but we bought our house in the winter when there was snow on the ground, and were shocked when it melted and saw the lawn. It was mostly dirt they had seeded and tossed straw on. Now we have a lush beautiful lawn - Im legitimately in awe.

Contracted service with these guys maybe 6 months back, advised them of one rule up front. PLEASE DO NOT weed and feed or spray herbicide beneath two 300 + year old historic trees in my yard(marked by the state and county for their significance), these trees are already cared for by a 3rd party and those substances are very bad for them. First visit..... they did exactly that with no hesitation, actually there was more weed/feed/herbicide below the trees than anywhere else because they knocked over or spilled their cart beneath one of them. Also drove their truck through my front yard and off my driveway by accident, turfed it up a bit... and left. I called and told them this obviously wouldnt work out since I had one ask and they blew right past it and they were supposed to be enhancing my lawn not driving on it. A very nice guy came out, apologized, and cleaned it up as well as seeded the yard where they left damage. He also talked me into keeping my service. Okay second chance. They just did it again....... the same exact thing.... the same exact scenario. So it seems they dont listen, at all, or care to. I pay for the old historic trees to be kept alive and well.... then I pay weedman to poison them without regard. My wife even reminded one of their techs as he arrived not to put either substance under the trees or in the drip line and he stopped and explained to her that he had no idea what that meant.... drip line? Whats that? Really? Cmon guys.

Horrible experience! Promises promises promises ... they created weeds instead of keeping them away. They said they would come back to fix the problems they created, but they never came. It took them 6 months to return an email. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Very regular with their services... to a point where I didnt even know that they came by with the exception of the weed man sign they would leave and a couple of planted flowers which always looked pretty. My grass grew quickly... although I did have a couple of clay spots because of some runoff. I just wish they had a mowing service... which is ultimately why Im leaving. That being said, the cancellation process was easy... a call and a follow up email. That was it... Thank you for your services. Id recommend you if someone needed these services.

I have used this company since they opened for business.All services provided have been first class.I have had absolutely zero issues and am completely satisfied with their products and quality services. My yard has won be best in neighborhood award twice in Kincaid Forrest. Could not have done it without the Weedman!

Used them for years. Always been happy. Today they brought the trash cans up... not their job, but was a nice little extra on a day when Im not feeling well. Good company, nice employees.

*I CANNOT IN GOOD CONSCIENCE RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY* I had a very bad experience with this company. After doing my own research into trying to find out what chemicals would best suit my yard needs I called this company to find out if their services would match up with my needs. Apparently their sales person took my interest in learning more for a request to order 2 treatment services in addition to 2 more the following spring. They came when no one was at my home and performed the service (unknown level of quality) and sent me a bill. When I called back to inquire why they did this they initially referenced the wrong service to my account (overseeding vs. weedkiller spray). After over 24 hours and on their word alone that they reviewed the recorded initial phone call they said I did in fact order the service and that they were sorry for any misunderstanding. That I was responsible for the rather hefty bill. They did cancel the subsequent service and asked if I was still interested in having them come out next Spring to do 2 applications then. I told them on the phone (for recording purposes) as well as sent them an email that I would not be using any additional services at this time and would contact them directly if I wanted to schedule anything further.

I have used all of the big name lawn services throughout the years and always been disappointed. At first I thought perhaps it would be the same with Weed Man, however, early on when I had some complaints, they very quickly addressed them and I have been very satisfied since then. The proof is in my lawn, which is one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood.

POOR! POOR! POOR! Constantly receiving unsolicited calls from this company. When I pointed out that we are on the Federal Communication Commissions Do Not Call list, and his call was against the law, WEED MAN HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT I WAS DEFINITELY INCORRECT!

We had Weedman for two years with below average service. Three weeks ago they fertilized. This treatment created 50% brown patches on our entire lawn. They tried to say the lawn was too dry, but we have a programmed irrigation system that has kept our lawn looking good for many years. They admitted that they stopped using the formula that they used that day when they fertilized. They would not work with us on fixing the damage that they did. They would not admit responsibility. I would never recommend anyone use their service. Weve been paying them for two years (just ended contract today) and our lawn is the worst in the neighborhood! Half of our neighbors dont use a weed/fertilizer service and ours looks worse than theirs. Dont pay them to have your lawn destroyed.
