Had them for lawn care for around 5 years or so. In July, they called for a date to do a treatment. They did not show up. I assumed because the grass was so drenched with rain. This was treatment number three of their yearly 5. I never really gave it much thought. I figured missing one treatment won't really matter. Then in August I got a bill in the mail saying I was 30 days overdue for a payment for that treatment that never took place. I called their office. I explained what happened. Their response was " you should have called when it happened. It's too late now. Our employee wouldn't remember that day now. There's nothing we can do." Well, I wouldn't make this up. I've paid each time for years now. I'm sure the employee keeps a log of some sort of the houses he does each day. They never even checked. They were pretty rude and uncaring. Putting it on me, by saying "YOU should have called" Maybe I should have, but I got busy with life things and kids and as I said , one treatment less won't really make a huge difference. Needless to say, I told them I didn't want any more of their business. Three days later they left me a voice mail saying "their sprayer person DOES remember that day, because you go through the garage to get to the backyard." Well....that's always been the case. There was no bill left at the door and no little yellow chemical flag left which is what they ALWAYS do. We were home ALL day with the front door and patio doors to the backyard open. In addition, we looked at the events for that date on our secuity camera which shows our yard. No chemway truck at any time that day. I will not be doing further business with this company.
Jodi was helpful, but the sprayers showed up on our property armed without consent or warning, and freaked out my elderly mother. There are no loose dogs in our neighborhood. It's just a bit much.
I would give them a zero if I could. Customer service, communication and overall quality is terrible. Stay far away from this company. They don't care about customers, only making a buck.
I just called about getting my brand new years serviced , and the company said wait until next year because it won't be right for my yard this year. I appreciate a company that values my need over making.money. Chem-way will definitely get my business next year.
I was told they don’t spray for weeds until April and I called in February. Now there weed orders are full. I recommend no one uses their service. There liars!
I have used Chemway on several properties and for summer weed control and fertilization. Other company’s have tried to get me to switch service to theirs, but I am happy with the prompt scheduled service, cost and their professionalism.
I have been a customer for over 20 years. Recently had my 1st lawn treatment for the 5 star treatment. Afterwards, I noticed a very large area of dead grass. I had owner come out to inspect and he indicated it was winterkill. I had two other lawn professionals, one who is very familiar with my lawn, tell me they didn't think it was winterkill. When I spoke again to owner, I did not accuse them of killing my lawn, but indicated that I had two others tell me what they thought it was. I asked him to come back out to look again. He indicated that he wanted to know who told me this because he wanted to know who thought they knew his job better than he did. He did agree to come back out; he asked if I was home, which I was, and said he would come. Four days later, I never did see him and I had even called the next day and left message for him to call me before he came so that I could make sure I was home. After calling four days in a row and never hearing or seeing him, the final straw was the last phone call. Obviously, I was irritated for having the issue and also having to call four days in a row. I did express my frustration to employee who answered the phone and said I was very tempted to cancel my service. She was very flippant and quite frankly, did not seem like she cared. She also indicated that the owner had come by and called me but had not been able to reach me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and verified the phone number he had, which was correct. I had nothing on caller ID indicating he had called and mentioned this to her. I also had indicated that I had left a message for him saying he needed to call before attempting to come by. It ended with her hanging up on me. Conveniently, when I returned home that day, he had left a note with a list of all of the lawns that had been sprayed on the first day along with some winter watering tips. He had told me that if it was something they sprayed that was wrong, all of the lawns that day would have had the same problem. He also asked how my backyard was, which is not as bad, however, I watered immediately after the spraying whereas the front was not watered until after it had time to sit. This is what is recommended; to water immediately if there are no weeds or wait if there are. My backyard doesn't have weeds like the front does. My overall opinion is that the owner was not willing to consider my questions or concerns; he was convinced that he was right. All I wanted was to know what happened to my lawn; I also did not get the chance to tell him that I know of another customer whose lawn was burned after the 1st application so I know it happens. As I mentioned, I have been a customer for over 20 years but after the lack of attention and respect, I am taking my business elsewhere.
Spent $450 for their service and I have the same amount of weeds I do every other year. I was promised a lot when they came to do the estimate. When I called to have them take care of the weeds that were coming up, staff was rude and unprofessional, and told me that they didn't cover the work that the guy that gave me the estimate told me they would. When I called for the touch up I was informed that other fees would be charged for the touch up work. This was not disclosed when I was given the estimate. I was told the work was guaranteed until the end of July.
They explained the process and listened to my concerns and direction.
We love the amazing job they bring to our lawn.
Again, disappointed with Chem way. Turning down business just as they did last year. Never will I call this company again!

So sad they are not accepting new customers due to not having enough employees. We were customers 2 years ago and they were good.
No one came to spray. I saw they were at other properties in our neighborhood today but was never notified and they never sprayed.
Called to get lawn treatment was told not taking new customers! What a way to run a business.
They sprayed in 2020. I didn t call them for 2021. So they won t say if you don t have it every year.

I sent an email for a quote and was never called to set up an appt. 10 am the next week we got a pounding knock on the door. I come outside and talk to an older man who acted like our business was an imposition. I never even got his name until I asked for it (Mike) and offered mine. Well Mike, you can tell your boss they lost out on $187+ per 5+ treatments this season because of your attitude. We ll go with someone else
Great Pueblo family owned company. They always help you out and work with you on tines and dates. Always friendly staff that help to develop a good plan for you lawn care needs.
I would like to recognize all office staff, in particular Laurie and Jody as they are always so personable when I call and patient when I tend to call alot! They are certainly an asset to this company. Thank you!
My lawn looks good
starting to notice a Grub problem so I called chemway. They sent out a truck the same day. Jeff said he would be back the following week to spray. He came back a week later sprayed my property and left a bill. These guys are straight to the point no b.s no upsell no unnecessary calls texts or emails. A lot different than some other companies I called trying to get you on a program.
Customer service is poor to non existent. I will be using someone else next year. Really hate to leave a local business, but I want to do business with someone who values me and doesnt treat me like I am lucky to be their customer.
Told they were 3 weeks out...3 weeks came and went...told it could be another few weeks...CANCELED

Called to have them come to my house and tell me what I can do for my lawn.. It is all dead and almost non existent.. They said they would come and tell me.. They didnt knock.. Just left a note letting me know they cannot do anything with my yard because there isnt any live grass.... (Thats why I called them to landscape my yard) apparently they dont do landscaping.... i guess they only spray fertilizer and if you need anything else .. Well find a real landscaper.

The staff are friendly if I could I would give them a five star. The quality of the work is definetly a 2. I have spent almost 200 dollars to get the front of my house sprayed twice this year and the weeds still come up. Ill just have to buy Land Master from Big R like Ive been doing because its the only thing that kills everything for a year and I mean EVERYTHING. The chemicals Chemway uses works for maybe a month then the weeds come right back up again.

Your drivers are unsafe! Driving over the speed limit when its snowing. Cut me off twice when they could have just slowed down to the speed limit. Very unprofessional.

*Very unfriendly tech. Attitude upon arrival up thru time he left. *On top of waiting forever for a tech to actually make it out to spray he ran out of product 2/3 of the way and tells me hell be back to finish in a few days?! WTH?! Very disappointed customer.
They gave great advice on what I needed at one of my clients location and I let them do the work. A few short weeks later the results were STUNNING!! The yard was very beautiful. Thanks!!

I have used Chem Way fir years the staff at the Office when I call are very nice , and respectful .Always answer my questions I inquire about my grass .I left Chem Way one year to go to another competitor but I was extremely disappointed with the service and my grass liked terrible that year I left because it was recommended . I went back to Chem Way . recommend Chem Way only when asked about lawn services . Thank you Chem Way staff !!!
Update June 18, 2014: I called again to try to get an explanation for why I was never contacted and why the service was never completed in a whole MONTH. The office manager said that there was nothing they could do for me. Stay FAR FAR away from this company. They do not respect the customers whatsoever. I also asked to speak to the owner of the company and the office manager said that theres no guarantee that he will call me back. Again, deplorable. June 17 2014: There is only one word I can use to describe the service I received from Chemway and that is TERRIBLE. I called on May 21st to have Chemway come and spray my yard for weeds since I am selling my home. I had just had someone come and do an estimate the previous Friday and that same day I had someone come and cut the weeds so that they would be ready for the service. The woman who I spoke to on the phone said that someone would be out to do the service within the next 5 days. Today, I had someone go to the home to check on the yard maintenance and they informed me that the weeds were never serviced and that they are now 2 ft tall. I called Chemway and they had absolutely no explanation why 4 days short of a month later, the service hasnt been completed. My realtor tries to recommend local businesses who do good work, but Ill have to let her know as well that they are absolutely terrible.
