Would choose zero stars if it was an option, from the rude lady answering the phone, scheduling a time then never showing up should have been my sign to find another company, they over charged me for the work they did, some areas have 1/4 inch of breeze to paper showing in other areas, I had to finish their job myself, less then a year and it seems like Im going to have to redo the slate walk way they tried 3 times to get right, I dont recommend this place to anyone

We contracted for large job. almost 10K. They started when they said they would completed it in less then two weeks and did a superior job. This is the second major job they did for us and both were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone who needs landscaping or lawn sprinkler work.

I highly recommend Above and Beyond. They were able to start my project early and did a fantastic job. Kyle also answered a couple of questions I had on the weekend which was above and beyond my expectations.

I called about getting my backyard leveled because its has a slight hill, and we set up an above ground pool. The pool is empty due to the hill needing to be leveled. The woman called and said they do level yards but cant level my yard because we have an empty pool. The pool can be taken down to get the ground leveled. She just refused to help didnt want to send anyone to even look at the yard. Ive never had a company just deny business without even trying to see if they can help a customer.

First of all of the 4 landscapers I contacted Kyle was the only one who followed thru from bid, to job, to completion. I found them to be fair and kept their word in all aspects of the job. The young men who came to do the work were exceptionally thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable and neat in their work. I will work with them again.

Had a large amount of rock placed at our house and looks fantastic. Wanted to make a couple of changes, so Kyle came to the house and took care of everything. He s great. Very professional staff and respectful of our property! Will definitely be using again for any landscape work in the future!

Hopefully the landscaping is better than how they drive. Don t appreciate almost being hit because the driver is literally driving with their feet out the window

I recently had some yard work done, got a lot of rock laid, placed some borders, sprinkler system install, and had hydroseed sprayed. With the topsoil and border around the grass, I feel like quality was lacking. When they put the topsoil down with a skid steer, they did not level it whatsoever with a rake or anything before spraying the seed. Because of this the lawn is not even close to being smooth or level, and there are some places with huge clumps of dirt. It is extremely bumpy to walk on and mow, and unfortunately causes water to gather in some of the low spots. Also the border around the grass in one spot in particular is not straight at all. It was not quite the quality I was expecting for the price, however Kyle was extremely responsive, which was surprising considering how many jobs they had. Update: We noticed there was a leak in the main irrigation line, when we dug it up, the hole was from one of the edging pins used and was pushed right into the tube, now I have to spend more of my time and money, fixing mistakes that they caused.

Set appt to winterize sprinkler for 10/30 several weeks ago. When weather forecast suddenly indicated severe freezing temps, they called to come three days early to prevent damage to the system. I appreciated their effort. Had they waited until 10/30 as originally set, sprinkler would surely have been badly damaged. Thanks folks. Highly recommend.

I called and schedualed an appointment for a week later on Wednesday to have my lawn aerated and fertalized. Waited all day on the day, recieved a call late afternoon by one of the guys stating they had ran out of material and rescheduled first thing Thursday morning. The office lady called me and said she was supos to call me but she dident know what about, I explained what I was told, she said oh ok sounds good. I continued to wait until early afternoon Thursday when I called the number back that had called me the day be for, the same gentlemen answered the phone and told me he was sorry but his boss dident care that they dident show up to my house he was more concerned with todays schedual. The gentlemen also said when he saw we were still not placed on the schedual he asked his boss again, and recieved the same respons from his boss we simply were not worth his time, the other jobs were more important. I was told by the gentlemen to call and complain to the office. I dont want to get a good truthfull employee in trouble for being honest, but I will warn people! I know my service may not have been a big money maker for them, but it was a job I needed done and they agreed to do,and never showed. I still havent recieved a call for reschedule, or even an apology and explanation that they are to buisy! I was so disappointed, I really expected better based on all these supposedly good reviews!

Above and beyond Landscaping is probably the best contractor Ive worked with in Pueblo so far. Kyle gives fair prices and has formed a company that can truly make this community beautiful. Youre only as good as your team allows and he certainly has got the right people working for him. I could go on and on and on but I will end this review like this, I work extremely hard for every penny that I have and I was proud the day I paid Kyle for the work that his team did, proud to do business with a person that I believe in. Rocked my front yard looks great

Ive called a few times, I originally had an appointment for an estimate, but I had to reschedule, the lady didnt reschedule me she just hung up. I called again today 5/3, she asked what needed to be done i told her and now Im being told theyre too full to accept anything and she cant put me on schedule. I told her were not in a rush to get it done, she said theyre booked till August-September. I said thats okay, but she still refused to schedule me in. Worst customer service, Ill take my business else where.

Got a new sprinkler system installed. Quote was fair and work was completed in a timely manor. Communication was good. End result was exactly what we were looking for in a new sprinkler system.

I had Above & Beyond do a reworking of my front yard landscape. It had become so overgrown and almost impossible to maintain. They did a fantastic job. It took them 2 1/2 days (very large front yard), and I was very happy with the results. There was a small problem with a sprinkler and they came out the next day and corrected it. I highly recommend Above and Beyond for any of your landscaping/lawn needs.

They are very good at sprinkler system design and installation as well as rock landscaping. They are terrible at any concrete work. If you need concrete installed hire someone else. A&B do not know how to install concrete properly (or to code). Kyle, I talked to you after the work was completed and advised you of the issues. Sidewalk is cracking and separating, steps are not uniform in height and the standard 7 rise varies to a 3 rise creating a stumble risk, the width is supposed to be 32 and is only 27-28 , and the retaining wall has numerous flaws and is poorly constructed. You advised me it would cost me about $1,000.00 to fix some of the issues and the others were not your fault. True, they are not personally your fault since your employees did the work without your supervision or guidance but as owner of the company your are responsible for your employees work.

Above and Beyond did an amazing job on our landscaping. Kyle provided a detailed quote and the crew was professional and the work was completed in the timeframe stated. They installed a fence, rock, pavers, 3 concrete patios and artificial turf. We would highly recommend them!

I first had above and beyond come out to look at my sprinkler system. There was an area that wasn t working as well. The tech came out and was pleasant and spent quite a bit of time digging. He found 3-4 areas that were crimped and replaced the pipe. He left without fixing the problem and left my yard dug up and a mess. I was invoiced and was charge the tech s hourly rate but to my surprise also charged nearly 80$ per area he fixed as this apparently wasn t included in the tech s hourly rate. So I was double charged for him to fix the area which in the end resolved nothing. The area still appears to have a leak. After this I was quoted an amount for yard clean up which was basically overpriced. I can only assume they can get away with this as all companies were overbooked. This included a dumping fee. The quote was incorrect and they failed to tell me that yard clean up doesn t include mowing. They also failed to let me know they would be disposing of all my solar yard lights. In the end - they did a poor job, overcharged, nickel and dimed adding extras on - then harassed daily until their unjustified bill was paid. If you want to be cheated, overcharged, nickel and dimed then I would recommend Above and Beyond - steer clear and find a company that is honest

I can t say enough positive words about Above and Beyond. Their name says it all. Everyone on this team is hard working, knowledgeable and responsive. They really do go out of there way to make you happy. Love these guys!

My sprinkler valve was stuck open and the technician was very knowledgeable about the issue. The technician flushed a piece of debris out and solved the issue.

Overall, the guys did a great job. I had a large retaining wall established with 35 large boulders; Not an easy task. The fire mitigation is done as well as an outdoor kennel. Price was fair. Kyle didnt come out to the job to supervise, so thats my only disappointment.

Gave them my business for years. Had a tiny front yard and back yard which they would mow in only seconds. Horrible edging and overall sloppy work. Had to call back to rude receptionist several times to have them mow the lawn shorter. The last straw was when we asked them to pull my weeds in front and back. They agreed (adding an extra $40.00 a month on bill); however, would never pull them, only spray them and would lie every time we would call and ask them about it. Asked to speak to the owner who never called back. Just lost $160.00 a month (which every landscaping company contacted since says was a ridiculous price) but I guess they are good with it. Horrible business do not recommend.

We are very satisfied with our backyard renovation performed by Above and Beyond Landscaping. Kyle Swanson was quick to respond and very detailed in his cost quote and all communications with us. We had a lot of work done; new walk way , stone wall, garden area, concrete patio, trees planted, and more rock installed. Sometimes contractors leave you guessing as to what will happen and when it will happen. This was not the case with Kyle and his crew. He answered all our questions in a timely manner and kept us informed about his plans and how the job would progress. He is very easy to work with. We were very happy about how quickly the job was scheduled and completed.

Out of approximately 20 different contractors/installers/purveyors I have used over the years to renovate my house, I would highly recommend only 3; one of these is Above and Beyond Lawn & Landscaping. The people at this company are amazing. I just had a bad diagnosis and they rushed my project so I could have an incredible outdoor living space to recuperate as I move forward. Oh by the way everything was done professionally and was as their name states, above and beyond. Seriously folks these guys are great.

I called ABLL for a front yard rebuild. The owner came out slightly delayed from another appointment based on customer needs. Working in sales and fully understanding I looked forward to out meeting. He showed up, did the measurement and offered solutions to my desire in changing my lawn to all artificial turf within 24 hours. I had multiple quotes and ABLL wasnt the cheapest and I let them know. They countered with in writing saying they would meet their competitors warranty and stand behind their work 100% I called the owner back the next day told him the price was fair and I wanted him to look at the backyard. He agreed to do that, I wasnt able to meet up but let him know the gate to the backyard was open. He went in and took all the measurements he needed. The following day I provided a sketch of my dream yard all artificial turf with a putting green and extended patio. I was informed that putting turf the size I wanted was not manufactured, but offered an alternative. Once received I changed everything up based on my idea of what I would like. I received updated professional drawings the next day. We had two phone calls and I edited the drawings for a final concept I wanted. We agreed and a quote was provided the same day. They started the job almost two full day early and had an extremely hard working crew show up every day. 5 men hauled wheelbarrows of cement from the road to the backyard non stop to complete the patio expansion. I cant say that I have every seen a harder working more dedicated crew to accomplishing a job in both quality and time. Both yards were completed in under two weeks and far beyond my original expectation. Once completed they come back and review every bit of the job and make a punch list of all jobs that were completed and everything as a company they dont want representative of their company. The crew came back this morning and addressed all of my concerns, which were very few, and everything that the owner wanted corrected to he could say it was a completed ABLL contract. I would highly recommend working with these guys if you are about serious landscaping or landscape modification. They provide the highest quality, professionalism and service of any contractor that I have asked to work for me in the last 10+ years. I cannot give them high enough marks on the work, compliment the quality of the service they provided or suggest you look at their service for you landscaping needs. 100% honest review, give these guys a shot. I had what I considered a significantly decent Capitol investment in my property and they did not disappoint in any way. I have had two friends over during the reconstruction and one has already contacted ABLL and the other is considering doing the same.

I had a appointment scheduled for 3pm I called them at 4 because no one had showed up. They apologized and said they were running behind but would be at my house within the hour. I waited. Now 630pm no call no show. Guess they don t need the business.

Please find another company. They were highly recommended by our locksmith. They are inconsistent with times, the jobs are not finished, and you will get additional invoice to complete the first job. If you re not careful they will also send you an invoice for a job they didn t do. I sent an email to the owner - hoping to address our concerns, but he is unreachable.

Once the work was done it is just what we wanted. I would give them a four if not for a certain three member crew that worked extra hard to make up for the delays. DOUBLE THE PARTS, TRIPLE THE LABOR- call above and beyond to fix a leak in my sprinkler box. The leak was clearly coming from the connection to manifold to the heads. For some reason the tech replaced the pressure breaker ($180a&b price, $90 Lowes), which was nowhere near the leak. With Labor costs the total bill was near $300. Low and behold the leak was still present. I called above and beyond to rectify the situation and explained I m not going to pay for call back service. They tech came and replaced the manifold. Then, above and beyond charged an additional $140 for that repair job. I was apprehensive to pay the bill, since it was a call back from the original issue. Guess what? The leak was still there. I called again, the tech returned (with attitude) and attempted to repair the leak for the 3rd time. Gave the repair job a couple days and look who s back my original leak. Now, Above and Beyond is sending me threatening letters and phone calls above remaining balance. I guess I should pay them for wasting $300 and two vacation days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! UPDATE 8/1: the owner rescinded the $140 charge. I was still charged $300 for a leak that is currently leaking. FYI the came out 3Xs

Kyle and his crew originally put sprinkling system and frostless spicket in - took 10 zones- great coverage lawn looks great. Called them back to put in flagstone patio and walkway with additional landscaping along driveway - job looks great we are very happy with the work. Kyles crew is accommodating with changes made during the process - very professional highly recommended.

Kyle, owner of Above & Beyond was great to with with in planning our project. His crew, team leader Ubaldo and Martin, brick layer did a great job. We needed some previous brick work redone and a French drain. We were extremely pleased with the work and because we know Kyle stands behind every job. MJ and Bill Latham

We were bid $$ for a drip line. It turned out we had an old manifold, like I could even tell it was old. The worker told us the boss man would call us with a bid for the price. I waited because I knew with the nearby spigot I could hook the line up for $75. I waited two days then in the third I had a new $300 manifold. Like really WTH. When I called the bossman and asked why we didnt get a bid for the job, he said he forgot. Nice. Artificial turf install was not painless either. I have a seam in the grass as transparent as Alfalfas hair part. After prepping and leveling the ground, it took twos before turf installation. We had told them the dogs cannot be kept in the pen for long and they would need to be let out. Two plus weeks later the turf was installed. When you walk on it you can feel how unlevel the ground is. The grass has ripples and an Alfalfa part. I would think twice about doing business with this company. Especially after we were charged without having the price of the job told to us before implementation. I forgot the still charging a person is not right.

The name fits the company! I have had nothing but the BEST service from them. I ve used them for the last two years and haven t had any problems with the service. Always on time, call ahead before arriving, courteous and always insures things are working appropriately before they leave.

Took the time to go to their place of business and set up an appointment to get an estimate to get an an irrigation system installed. This would have been the first part of getting things started for our yard...waited for an hour and no one showed so we left for the day. Probably wont call them back. Sorry we wasted our time on both occasions.

This year I had them level the dirt floors and put new rubber mats in the horse stalls in my barn. Kyles crew did a great job!!!

Called to have an estimate provided on a 12 station sprinkler system repair (and I would have been happy to pay for the estimate). The rate which is $75 an hour plus parts was quoted to me, but no interest in providing an estimate. Apparently the consumer needs to know how many hours the job will take and the parts required and has to make the estimate themselves. Thanks anyway.

The company lives up to their name. Kyle and his team were very responsive to all of my feedback and the work was done quickly at a great price. They will be my go-to company for any future landscaping projects in Pueblo.

I called above and beyond to get an estimate, and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. He answered his phone with hello?! Which made me think I had dialed a wrong number, and not a business. I asked him what their rates were, and all he said was: we dont do any weeds. Do you have grass or weeds? I told him it was a little of both. He then said nope. We dont do weeds and Im not accepting new customers. Click. Hangs up the phone. He could have told me initially that they werent accepting new customers instead of wasting my time. I have never had my lawn mowed by this company and I probably never will now.

Mowing, laying sod, cleaning up leaves, and turning off my sprinkler system. Above and beyond has done all of these things for me and they have done a great job with them all. They are trustworthy, efficient, and their work is always the best. Highly recommend to everybody!

They removed our hideous pea-gravel yard and replaced it with sod, rebuilt our sprinkler system, built a gorgeous patio, planted shrubs, and created flower beds. They were very fast and professional. Our yard is absolutely beautiful now, and they truly went above and beyond to make sure everything worked for us. I would highly recommend them, especially if you need extensive work done.

How sad these men come to our house, eat breakfast, lunch, then decide its almost time for lunch? The two guys say under our tree for over an hour and ate yet again?? I do not believe they where called to attend a social gathering! This is a Private Home not a Park!!! Where is Kyle? Why hasnt he checked in on his crew?? Why do they sit around, eat and or keep leaving in the truck? Why did they use a machine near a buried gas line? Sloppy work, Ill never refer anyone to this place!!! If your the owner, you should care about what your people are or are not doing !!!!

Above and Beyond Landscaping has done multiple jobs for us. We did a total overhaul on the outside of our house and we couldnt be happier with the results. They are also doing the upkeep on our lawn and it always looks amazing. They built walls and steps, laid pavers, laid sod, made flowerbeds and installed firepits on our deck. We love being outside because of Above and Beyond!!!

I would give this company a zero if I could. We will never use them again. I thought it would be a good company because of the reviews, but we were very unhappy with the service. I should have put this review up earlier, but we are super busy. The company is very disorganized. We hired them to fix a piece of our sprinkler and to aerate our lawn. The guy that fixed the sprinkler told me that it would cost 120 dollars after he completed the repair. He asked if I wanted to get an invoice or call a specific number to give them my card. I said I would just pay by card. I called the number on their business card. A woman answered and asked me how much the charge was for. I said $120 and I okd the $120. Later that day, someone from the same company came to aerate the lawn. He gave me bill for $40. That was fine. We were ok with the cost. However, when we checked our account later that week, we noticed that we got charged $200, which by the way is considered fraud if you are charged more than what was approved by the costumer. So, when we had seen we were charged $200, I thought maybe they added the two together? It didnt add up though. So, my fiance called the owner and the owner told him the charge was correct, despite being told by his employees a different price . At that time we requested an itemized invoice, which we got, but it was not what we were originally told the cost would be. We were irritated, but honestly it wasnt worth our time to pursue further. Shortly after the incident, we got another invoice from the same company for a lawn aeration we had already been charged for. We ignored it because we thought that maybe they had made a mistake. Then, we get a call requesting we pay it. When we told them that we had been charged for the aeration already, the woman checked their records and agreed . They appear to have very poor organization and the entire situation was handled poorly on their part. We will not do business again with them. There should be a better way to handle transactions.

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. They did a beautiful job. Not only were they on time every day (after an hour commute to our home), they came back to finish the project on a Holiday weekend after being run off earlier in the week due to lightning strikes nearby. We were not the largest project they could have completed by any means, yet they never gave me the feeling that we were not worth it to them. The staff was great, cleaned up perfectly afterward. The job was done within budget. Kyle also offered professional consultation when I was not sure exactly what I wanted. I can not say enough good things about this company!
