My neighbor had work done yesterday. Her hose wasnt long enough, so I attached my hose, laid it out, nice and free of any twists, kinks, or bends, as is my usual practice. When I retrieved my hose after they left it was mangled, kinked, and tangled significantly in a dozen places. Thats no way to leave a hose in cold weather. Thanks guys. Oh and shout out to Jason who told me if I move some rocks and clear an area, hed go over it once to smooth it. I worked hours to git er done and for what? Nothing.

Zebrascapes does a wonderful job. The company trimmed large, old trees on our property, installed pavers front and back & put in a pergola. They are professionals & do excellent work. We would definitely recommend them!

Second time we have used Zebrascapes. First time they did our irrigation and planted 7 trees. This time 10 posts for the garden. Ralphael was amazing and professional. The guys were hard working. Everything looks great. Will definitely use them again.

We struggled for years with landscapers to properly maintain our HOA. After speaking with Randy about snow plowing he also provided us with a bid for our HOA. We awarded our contract to ZebraScapes Landscaping and so happy we made the decision to work with them. Sam came out and toured the development with me, taking notes of exactly the things we wanted them to focus on. On the first day of service, Jason drove the development with me and covered the initial areas that have been neglected. He introduced me to the crew, who are very friendly, and they began work. They worked very hard and did a beautiful job. Jason came the following day to check our irrigation system. Once the crew finishes for the day, theres a quality control system to check their work and report back to the crew and management. The office staff are very accommodating and happy to help. I feel confident we made the right decision to employ ZebraScapes in caring for our HOA.

ZebraScapes is a great family-owned and operated business and serves the Quad City Area. I have worked with them on various occasions and all their staff is very professional and respectful. They do beautiful work too!

I hired ZebraScapes to trim 2 trees. A large locust and a small pear tree. To make a long story short, we were not satisfied with the work as it was not as complete. Water sprouts were missed on both trees. Several larger branches that were headed towards neighboring properties were not trimmed at all which was the primary reason for trimming the locust tree. It seemed as if the crew was not properly informed about the details of this job. I sent multiple emails to have my concerns addressed which were completely ignored. I withheld final payment hoping that this would spur a response, even if the response was we did job, pay the bill, lady. Instead I received complete silence. I did pay the bill and still, days later, no follow up. Sadly, I will not be a repeat customer nor can I recommend Zebrascapes. I am updating this review from 3 weeks ago. After posting my reviews, I was contacted by the general manager. She was extremely apologetic and really wanted to make it right. She was completely unaware that I wasnt happy with the services I received. She came out to my property promptly to review what I was not happy about and returned again with the a very large crew and trimmed both trees to my satisfaction. I hope that my experience influenced them to make a few changes for responding to customer emails. Everyone on the crew was extremely professional and courteous towards me. I really do appreciate the fact they came back to make it right.

Zebra scape gave me a fair estimate and price to refresh about 9 tons of rock on my property. They were able to squeeze me in, in less than a week from the date of the estimate. The three crew members they sent were awesome hard working gentlemen. Easy to communicate with and did a great job in the high 90 degree temps in Prescott today. A special shout out to Rafael for having a great personality and going over what needed to be done when the crew arrived. Then making sure I was happy with the work each step of the way through the 9 tons , as well as fixing a bunch of pavers that had sunken. Another thank you to the gentlemen that did the estimate figuring how much rock was needed. He was right on the spot.

This co. Is the best! We had them out to take down a tree and but 4 trees in, we have had them out for irrigation, and spraying weeds. Wouldnt use anyone else!

Very impressed with Eric Van Tassel and his Landscape team, including Lester, Jorge, and Jesus; expert installation of rip rap and driveway gravel, refreshing existing swales, as well as leveling a flagstone patio and building up a retaining/seat wall. JB Biddles team did a great job with tree treatments (spraying and injecting Pinon Pines), followed by firewise trimming of our site including removal of cactus. Highly recommend ZebraScapes!

There were some things that Im embarrassed to have requested last-minute (collecting the wood and stacking the it for our guest house supply) and the crew so kindly accommodated us. Zebra provided the best and most professional service I could have hoped for when they removed a 50 cedar from a tight space between my house and my fence. These gentlemen landscapers were punctual, knowledgeable, proficient, courteous and FAST! My huge tree was gone, including stump, within 3-4 hours, cleanup done, yard raked. Truly, there isn t anything they could have done better. They are the BEST.

We highly recommend ZebraScapes for residential yard maintenance. We hired them for a FireWise Cleanup, remove a dying pine tree (& grind stump), remove dead limbs from 2 very tall & 1 medium high pine trees, & trim several shrubs of different kinds. The skilled crew of 3 worked their butts off for over 8 hrs & did a great job cleaning up & responding to our requests on site. Last years pre-emergent was far more organized with scheduling in which this year somebody just showed up with no notification prior. Additionally used half of what was sprayed in gallons (on report) versus previous years but weed season will tell as could be a different mix. Update: I truly appreciate the call Pat and our discussion. I have always been a firm believer beit in business or personal dealings that mistakes happen however it is how things are rectified that defines a great partnership. I called and talked to Cooper about the down limbs in my yard from the recent snow storm that we had in Sedona. I also needed pruning of my fruit trees. He was working down the street and would stop by. He gave me a price and said he would be here Thursday. He and his crew arrived on time and went to work right away. They did a EXCELLENT job and they were very PROFESSIONAL. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Zebrascapes several times for tree work, landscape design and installation and have been very happy. They installed a significant amount of pavers in our driveways and the lines are as straight as could be and it looks amazing.

This is the story of my four year saga to find a landscaping service to properly maintain my property in Prescott Arizona. I had an exceptional landscaper in the many years I lived in Virginia and never anticipated what a challenge this would be in Prescott. Rather than my taking your time reading the long list of my experiences, let me just say it was was a series of disasters by the landscaping companies I hired. At 83 and a widow, I can no longer maintain a property. The solution was to sell my home and buy a condo but I would have to sell a home full of memories of the 56 years my husband and I had together. Those memories sustain me. Everything in my home is a memory of the love my husband and I shared. I could not give up my memories. Everything changed about a month ago when I saw trucks from ZebraScapes Landscaping at several homes on my street. I called and asked if they could maintain my property. That was one of the best calls I have ever made. Everyone at ZebraScapes from the owner to all the employees who have been maintaining my property, care about my property and about me. They are the exceptional landscaping company I had been searching for. They are doing more than maintaining my property. They have given me the ability to remain in my home with my memories. We hired ZebraScapes to remove a dying tree. They went above and beyond of what I expected. There were many surface roots and they removed all of them. They even had to use an axe to remove some of the roots but worked until they got them all. The crew was friendly and professional. They cleaned up the area very well. All for less than another tree removal competition. We are very satisfied.

Rodney and his team went above and beyond our expectations and we couldn t be happier with the quality of their work. Our contract included much stone work for drainage along 200 feet of elevated driveway, installing entryway boulders and irrigation and planting of many plants, shrubs and trees. We have used Zebrascapes for yard maintenance for a number of years and have always been happy we I their service quality and price. When we travel and return, the property always looks great upon our return. Keeps us from doing 2-3 days of yard cleaning up. Plus although the price once increased for us, it was only one time over several years and was only by $10. Very reasonable. We highly recommend them.

This is a review for two jobs performed by ZebraScapes in Oct/Nov 2021. They did such an excellent job on the first, I immediately hired them for a second job. This first job was removal of a large dying tree. During the consultation Jeff discussed other options but respectfully left the decision to me. Jonathon and Tree Crew 1 did a fantastic job on the removal and clean up. They managed to cut down a large tree without any damage to the surrounding garden. There were small fruit plants very close to the tree and not a single leaf was damaged. The second job was the removal of some large pampas grass and replacing them with more appropriate plants. Jonathon was extremely helpful in finding suitable replacements. Despite being quoted several weeks out, Brandy was able to schedule me in sooner on a cancellation. Jonathon and Tree Crew 1 again did an excellent job on removal and removed the grass that was in close proximity to buried utilities. Also they were very considerate asking where I wanted each replacement plant located. Very satisfied with ZebraScapes and their quality of work.

I put a bid out to several landscaping companies and Zebrascapes came back with a plan and a cost that was close to our budget. Trevon came out and questioned us on what we wanted and was looking for. The plan was great. My wife is now in a walker/wheelchair. They built a beautiful trail system for our front yard. Planted trees, plants and boulders. I installed a new deck and ramp and they set up a nice plant space to edge the deck. They installed irrigation to all new and existing trees and plants. The workers went at it with enthusiasm and gusto. They checked on us everyday we they were there. One day at lunch, I returned from the grocery store. They offered on their time off to help me with the groceries. I am currently in a big air boot for my foot. The front yard was completely redone in 6 working days. The workers all came up with ideas to make the yard better and they all worked together well. Zebrascapes went above and beyond in completely redoing our property. Yes, we are the talk of the hood now!

I had ZebraScapes remove three large trees and prune the trees on the entire property. Two of which were leaning over our house. Nick Brannon who was the person they had cutting the trees did an awesome job making sure while cutting the trees nothing hit the house or surrounding fences. They did everything I wanted and made sure that the job was done to my approval before leaving. Awesome Job guys thank you for the great Job.

Not happy with the tree trimming results. Feel like they botched up the tree trimming. Dont feel they were very professional. My trees dont look good at all. Would not recommend them for tree trimming.

After reporting stressed ponderosa trees and many years of storm damage to a large juniper over the years to our HOA, Zebrascapes arrived yesterday to do major limb removal on the juniper. They also placed a bark beetle packet on one of our more stressed ponderosa trees. Today they came back to use a chemical spray on the soil and ponderosa trees for bark beetles. They did a thorough job in treating the tree problems before anything major occurs. Definitely a place to do business with.

They did a great job so I recently hired them again to remove a large ponderosa pine with a split trunk that was leaning towards our home. We hired Zebrascapes to remove 2 large Ponderosa Pines that were very close to our house, and also trim another large Ponderosa that was dropping sap on our car. The crew was fantastic. Nick B., Caleb R. and the rest of the crew did a first-rate job. The tree removal was complicated due to the proximity to the house, a crane was needed to hoist sections of the trees over the house. JB wrote the quote and the work performed was exactly as described in the contract for the stated price. It was a pleasure to work with these professionals and I highly recommend them.

The major storm on Monday, October 3, 2002 blew down our Aspen tree and broke the top of our pine tree about 3 feet up from the ground. We called ZebraScapes to come out to give us a bid to remove the trees later that day. Maddie was very professional, reassuring, and nice to talk to on the phone and set up an appointment with their estimator for 9 am on Tuesday. JB showed up at 9 am. JB looked at our fallen trees and looked at a Plum tree where many of the limbs on the tree were dying. He gave an estimate for removing all three trees which we thought reasonable, and he said they would have someone out by that Friday to remove the trees. Later Tuesday we got a call from ZebraScapes saying they would be out at 7:30 am on Wednesday to remove the trees. On Wednesday morning, right at 7:30 am, Nick, Brannon and Robert arrived at our home and within less than 2 hours had the trees down and did a great job in cleaning up afterwards. We had some long-time friends coming up for a visit on Saturday. We had done a lot of work on the yard and my wife was a little upset that we would have trees down in our yard. Zebrascapes was contacted the day after a wind storm toppled a tree. The same day, they priced the tree removal and the pruning of another tree. That same week the crew of Nick, Brannon and Robert removed the fallen tree and, using a boom truck, pruned and shaped the other tree. They completed both jobs within two hours and were extremely professional and courteous. Our property was left spotless. I highly recommend this company.

We first used zebrascapes to remove 10 trees in the backyard and for firewise. We used zebrascapes again to set some flagstone in the backyard that was torn up to replace a sewer line. After the flagstone crew came out we had some concerns about the work and the company sent out a construction supervisor, Ramone. He listened to the problems I had and sent out a crew 3 days later with some new flagstone that they cut to fit. We are very pleased with what they did and their response. Good job

We had done small project with ZebraScapes couple of years ago when we first bought our home and were very pleased with the work. So when we were ready to landscape the front yard and part of the back, we contacted them again. We are once again very pleased with the results, and most importantly the way the job was handled. The crew that performed the work were awesome,very polite and easygoing. We have two large very curious dogs, who believe the backyard belongs to them! The crew was very patient and kind to the dogs and allowed them to poke their noses around while they were working, but also were concerned for their safety and would ask us to keep them in the house when they were using machinery or had to leave the gate open. Also, the job took several days, and each day when they finished,, they would clean up as much as they could, leaving the place looking as neat as possible and making it easy for us to come and go. So, many thanks to Jerome, Joseph, David, Gabe, Elijak and Justin for a job well done.

There are several big names in Prescott to go to for tree work, but we couldnt be happier that we used ZebrasScapes. Just walking around during the consultation, we knew that they knew the trees in our yard, where the problems were, and how to take care of them. They were able to schedule their team the next week, and they got a huge amount of work done in a short amount of time. They also did a great job cleaning everything up, and left our yard in great shape. We are very pleased with the work, and we wouldnt use anyone else.

When another local company left me high and dry, reniging on a 2 year deal to keep their trailer on my property for free landscaping, I called ZebraScapes to see if there was anything they could do to help me with my 4 tall weeds that the old landscaper started but walked away from without completion for NO reason. I asked for a call for estimate, not even a return call.

ZebraScapes placed 3 1 ton boulders in my front yard and planted 4 large red yuccas around them. This replaced a bug ridden old ugly pine tree. We have received lots of positive comments from our neighbors on how nice it looks. ZebraScapes is also our HOA landscaper and our community has never been better served. Positive

We hired ZebraScapes to remove a very large elm tree located in a narrow backyard of a rental condo. There are other condos on either side, and in the back which limited access to a narrow drainage walkway. The tree was not only destroying our backyard and threating the foundation and roof of our property, it was also threating adjoining units. ZebraScapes provided the most competitive proposal and explained how they could safely complete the job using a large crane. They schedule the work, showed up as scheduled and completed the job on time. The used a very large Crane situated in the parking lot and removed the tree in about 15 large sections over the top of the building. The crew was professional, friendly, and efficient. They worked with the HOA for approval, and accommodated neighbors that needed to get their vehicles in and out of the parking area while the work was being completed. The final clean-up was impeccable. We highly recommend ZebraScapes for any landscape or tree removal needs.

Johnathon and his tree crew did an AWESOME job. They went above and beyond!!! Most negative reviews are based on people that are self important and unrealistic. Take such reviews with a grain of salt because I am sure you have run into these types of people that will never be happy or satisfied even if the work or service was perfect. I would highly recommend ZebraScapes. I also hired them to redo and add to my irrigation system as well. Very satisfied customer! Tree work was done on 11/24/2021.

This was our first summer in Prescott, and to say that the monsoon season took us and our property by surprise is an understatement! We had ZebraScapes out last year to do some immediate Firewise work. We had them out again to clear out A LOT more brush and trees around the house. We had a large crew this time and they cut, cleared, and cleaned up in two days! Fantastic work. Our neighbors keep driving by slowly because theyve never seen the house from the street before.

Crew was working a few doors down and was able to remove a tree for me at the same time. They worked fast, however, the cleanup was not the best but the cash discount was still worth it! Follow-up to response: OMG...A completely fabricated response! As a successful corporate attorney I am far from having limited finances. Sounds like this came not from the owner but one of the workers who facilitated the pocketed-cash-deal. I knew something was up!

Jonathan and his crew are amazing! From our initial meeting through the end of the process Jonathan has been kind, professional, knowledgeable. He really goes above and beyond. I liked the prompt service I received, but I am very disappointed in knowing that no where on their website does it specify that you would be charged a 2nd time for a dumpster if you needed one more load to be dumped. Saying ; $70 for an additional ton is very misleading. $570 for a dumpster for a month with two loads seems a bit much.

We are so thankful for the great job the ZebraScapes tree crew did at our home in Groom Creek! They are very professional and knowledgeable and cared about what we wanted for the outcome. They understood how much I care about the trees since they certainly do too. The crew was kind, which is high in my book and also seemed to all work together well. Most of the job invaded my neighbors property so I asked for the crew to be extra careful. They did a beautiful job and the cleanup was perfect. They were the nicest guys and very polite. We have a huge retaining wall in front of our house that is failing. We have had many landscaping companies give us an estimate to repair or replace. In some cases the landscape company declined the project as to big and others were cost prohibitive. Zebrascapes estimate is different. The cost will still be high but not nearly as high as others. Rodney gave us options for beautifying the wall and had Katie on his staff work with us to come up with some design ideas. Alas we loved the designs but ultimately we decided on keeping the cost as low as we could. Rodney has been here several times to discuss the timeline and to discuss the steps involved and to discuss changes we wish to make. I think were going to really enjoy working with Zebrascapes.

We couldn t be more pleased with how our project turned out and that we chose Zebrascape s to do the work. What started out as an easy widening of our driveway, was complicated dramatically when the crew found a huge boulder a foot or so under our soil. We had Zebrescapes grind down a large Globe Willow stump and surface roots. Mark did great job, great cleanup. We would definitely use them again.

A rarely give a perfect score to anyone so there s room to improve. However, we were pleased from start to finish and our large oak trees look great! Edwin and John were very knowledgeable and the entire crew worked hard from start to finish. I m glad I went with a certified arborist and I m already thinking of having ZebraScapes back to do additional work in the future.

I ordered 6 granite boulders for my front yard. These boulders were larger and better than could have hoped for. The 2 gentlemen installing them were knowledgeable and took the time to make sure they were seated and positioned the best way to look natural. I need about 4 more boulders and Zebrscapes will get that business from me as well. Great Job!!

The crew at Zebrascape who landscaped our small backyard did a great job and in 2.5 days time. John, Luis & his crew were efficient, attentive to our questions and very professional. Yes, A very unprofessional company. In August 2017, I had 15 evergreens, (not the ones I wanted) , but the ones they chose planted. 3 died, which they replaced, but, all 15 turned brown. Every time I called to make an appointment I talked to a different person( which tells me they dont treat their employees very well) ,even the salesman I dealt with is no longer with them. WHY ? When I ask for Rodney ( the owner ) they seem to always have an excuse to NOT keep his appointments. I have made numerous calls & call backs, which they conveniently seem to forget ???This last call on Friday, I was told Rodney would meet me Monday, between 12:00 & 2:00, but, Saturday I get an E-MAIL from a new employee, (not a courteous phone call ) saying I was out of contract (which i never received from their salesperson in the first place) & that Rodney would not be coming to look at the trees. I have never met Rodney. My opinion is hes a very poor businessman that doesnt know how to run a company, and scared to communicate with his clients ! Just shows me hes only in it for the MONEY ! I will tell my story to everyone I can, & believe me theres a lot more to this story.

We were having an issue with our plants out back to which our current landscaper was unresponsive. Zebrascapes was a referral and they did not disappoint. I called on a Sunday and received a callback Monday 9AM. Gary was at our property by 2pm Tuesday. He handled himself in a professional manor. The issue was resolved and we will be using them in the Fall. Where we came from N.J. businesses are either fair, professional, and courteous or they fail, especially in the landscape industry. Zebrascapes offers what we as consumers deserve and we highly recommend them.

You can believe the good reviews. These guys showed up when they said they would, did everything we asked (and more), worked extremely hard and put in a full day in the heat, and made the place look really great. They already seem to know what needs to be done without telling them. Knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. Not an economy outfit, but I feel we got every bit of what we paid for and were happy.

ZebraScapes LLC, provided a bid for our front yard landscaping project. The project included the remove & replacement of a large quantity of fragile mid-size boulders with solid granite boulders. Some vary large boulders were place through out the project to increase the artistic beauty, at the recommendation of ZebraScapes. They were the low bidder of the three bids that we received. ZebraScapes completed the project in a timely manner and their crew, including the field staff, supervisors, management and office support folks, were very friendly and professional during the entire project. After the project was completed, ZebraScapes even went ahead and replaced several sections of city owned concrete side walk that had been damaged during our project. The end product was great and well received by us and the neighbors around us. We highly recommend ZebraScapes.

Great company and solid management. Its been a pleasure working with all of them, especially Jim. He goes the extra mile to take care of everything in our absence. I will use Zebrascapes for all my landscape work and even a few honey do dis and dat. He was at my home a week ago doing some deck work and found out my heating igniter went out. It was 16 degrees outside and if he not caught it and had it immediately replaced my pipes could have frozen in the house.

Great company! Rodney and crew have a rare business model these days...quality work...ethical...responsive. They did a great job on a paver driveway but their business practices will have me calling them for other projects.

I wish I could rave about my great new yard and how happy I was with the work these folks did for me, but alas, they never showed up for their appointment to give us an estimate on hardscape and landscape in our backyard. Not only did they not show up after we wasted our whole afternoon waiting on them, WE had to call THEM to find out they werent coming as they didnt have the professional courtesy to notify us they werent going to make it. Well be moving on to hopefully find another company somewhat more interested in our business. I see the business has responded by claiming that they went through their computer system and found no missed appointments, theyd like my name and address so they can check further. I have no intention of posting that personal info online and I find it hard to believe that they just have no knowledge of a missed appointment when I called at 3:30 on July 3rd and talked to a woman that told me she knew Rodney was still at the previous appointment and she would call and check with him as to whether hed still be able to make it that day and call me back. She actually then called my husband back about 5 minutes later and told him that Rodney wasnt going to make it because he was all tied up with an irrigation system problem at his previous appointment. Our appointment was with Rodney between 2 and 4 PM on July 3rd. We explained when we made the appointment that we are only at the house on a part time basis and our availability was limited. When I called Zebrascapes at 3:30 on July 3rd to find out if they were coming, I explained that AGAIN. Regardless, when the woman at the office called my husband back, she offered to reschedule, as though we hadnt repeatedly told them we couldnt do that! I have to say, Something seems seriously wrong here -that no one seems to register the information youve given them at least three times, AND - apparently theyre so overworked or disinterested that our multiple phone calls to them and obvious displeasure are something they cant remember or locate in their computer. We run a business also - this is the kind of situation that most definitely gets remembered, so kudos for responding to the review, but not for your dishonesty and inability to accept responsibility.
