We have used Jonnys tree service for years They do a great job. They are not the cheapest service in town but they have done a great job on my fruit trees and other trees. Our trees look very good and they a healthy. They clean up everything when done.

This company is above fantastic. They show up when they say they will, do a great job at a fair price and clean up everything upon leaving

We have been a steady and satisfied customer of Jonnys for several years, and were pleased to post this 5-star review. We have dozens of mature trees on several acres, and maintaining a healthy park-like environment requires professional knowledge and physical services. Most recently, over the winter, we lost a decades-old cottonwood tree -- it just surrendered to gravity (but fortunately did no damage when it fell). Jonny and his crew were able to clear up the deadfall, pile the chips where they will be easily accessible for use as mulch, and also saved the remaining tree growing from a common stump. The crew always shows up on time, is considerate about our horses and dogs, and gets the job done efficiently and with a minimum of intrusion. High regards and scores for Jonnys!

This is the third time weve had Jonnys Tree over to do tree work and they were awesome as always. We had a bunch stumps ground down, several willow trees trimmed and removed and our large cottonwoods trimmed. The whole crew was very professional and efficient and they finished everything in one day. Prior to scheduling the work, Jonny came over and gave us an estimate for everything (including photos) and the completed work cost what they said it would. The office staff who did all the scheduling were friendly and professional and called us back promptly when we had questions. Overall the experience was excellent and I wont hesitate to call Jonnys Tree next time we need tree work done.

They were prompt, efficient and professional. When they finished, the trees looked natural, but the large limbs overhanging my roof had been removed. They cleaned up everything and they were respectful of the adjoining properties.

Cant say enough about Jonnys...from the front office, to scheduling, to completion of work. 1st Class and seamless. Special shout out to Crew Boss Jack, and the Sawyers Dave and Cooper. Professional in the craft. Tree removal, stump grinding, addition tree trimming and debris removal. They literally didnt leave a twig on the ground. You cant get a better company to do your landscaping.

Jonny s Tree and Landscaping: Since 2018 I have been a customer with Jonny s Tree and Landscaping. I use this company as they have certified arborists and completely trust them every spring to professionally prune an shape the larger trees on my lot. Each January I schedule an appointment and Jonny Shaeffer comes over to my house to see what needs to be done for the current year and give an estimate to me . On the day scheduled for the job, the courteous crew arrives on time, checks with me as the job progresses to see if I am happy and assesses that I am pleased with the work before leaving. Their clean-up is immaculate. A five star professional company.

I have had Jonnys Landscaping Co twice since we moved to Prescott in 2022...and they are a top notch organization! I needed a tree removed from my backyard. Added challenge the only access was thru the house. The crew was polite and professional. They were also fast.

Incredible crew! I have 1 acre of trees ranging from tall to small. Each had a vigorous pruning, especially the fruit trees. The 4 people crew (lady too) were detail oriented and even taught me a thing or two! Hire the pros to treat your trees right!

I contracted with Jonnies to prune 3 trees in the front yard that were 5 years old. They arrived todaywith nice equipment and a crew of three. Very polite guys. They jumped on the trees and did a nice job and a good cleanup. I would recommend them and I will use them in the future.

Kenny and JR are awesome and that is only the half of it. The crew (all of them) were incredible. The work they had to do at our house was far from easy with a creek bed and steep, small trail to move (no joke) thousands of pounds of rock up behind our house to support and create new retaining wall - all by hand and with wheelbarrows. I m home and watched this incredible effort, the front of the house turned out incredible as well. Which also had its.granite challenges. The walls and steps with the placement of the new plants has made our home so much more enjoyable and safe. I would highly recommend this team of professionals for anyone that wants to be completely satisfied with their investment.

We had a 30-year-old pine tree go down in a storm next to the house and Jonnys was able to get out there and take care of it for us. They are very professional. Thats what I want to say first. We appreciated the job they did with cleanup. We have used them before and will continue to use their service in the future.

My experience with Jonnys Tree & LandscapingCo. involved the removal of 3 Leyland Cypress trees and 1 Aspen. Simply the service was professional, efficient and timely. Excellent!

They came early and worked very hard. My wife is in the landscaping business and said they did a wonderful job on lacing the trees!!

I do recommend this company. Even though there were problems as stated below, they did come back and replace the landscape ties and finish toping a tree. Please read the problems I experienced. The crew stopped short of doing all of the trees and said their instructions did not include the rest of the trees. PROBLEM NUMBER 2 -- without asking or even telling me they ripped up 4 landscape ties that were held in place with rebar spikes. The ties were haphazardly put over 20 ft from where they belonged. Because someone was coming to mow I had to move the ties myself so the area could be mowed. I am a senior woman so this was very difficult for me. These ties are approximately 6 x 6 by 3 long and are extremely heavy. I called and reported this to Taryn. It has been over 3 weeks and I have not heard a word. Guess I will have to hire someone to put the ties back in place and pound the rebar back into the ground.

Shout out to Jonnys Tree & Lanscaping Service for always being there and available when we need help at Heritage Park Zoo! From rescueing wildlife in distress, high up in trees, to hanging and repairing holiday lights on all of our hard to reach structures, and assisting with our Anerican flag when needed!..we are grateful for all that they do for us at the Zoo as well as the community! Jonnys Tree Service was contracted by Pine Lakes Mobile Home park off Iron Springs rd to clear their streets of snow. They piled a 4 foot pile of snow in front of my 86 year old moms driveway - not in her driveway, but in the road in front of her driveway - totally blocking her and any emergency vehicle or anyone.We have called them and their answer was; we dont do driveways and the Pine Lakes Mgt has to call and request us to move the pile. Jonnys response was unacceptable. Totally uncaring and unprofessional.

As the manager of The Pine Lakes community, I regularly work with Jonny and his crew for several things, including tree service, landscape maintenance, and snow removal. The storm this week was highly unusual and Jonnys team have worked tirelessly around the clock the past four days to assist in clearing our streets. Anyone who lives in snowy climates knows that snow plows leave behind windrows or banks of snow along the edge of the road and yes, in front of driveways. It is unavoidable. This is disclosed to all residents in our community rules and regulations before they purchase the home and it is also disclosed that it is the resident responsibility to remove snow from their own driveways, walkways, and yes, the windrows. This is standard pretty much anywhere one chooses to own a home. Jonnys crew did exactly the job they were hired to do. They are amazing to work with and our community GREATLY appreciates all that they have done to assist us.

The past storm that came into Prescott was very unexpected.... we live in a community of small streets . Our manager hired Johnny s Tree service to help with all of our snow removal . They have worked tirelessly in our community trying to get us back to where we all can commute out ofhere. Yes there is burms of snow everywhere but they and Ryan (our hero of a maintenance guy) is trying their hardest to make this safe for us. I want to express my upmost respect and thanks for them to help us .... thanks again to them for making us safe .

These guys are GREAT! They showed up early and really worked hard to trim a huge pine tree, that was not only threatening the house we live in, but our neighbors house as well. I have a large landscaped yard to maintain. Jonnys has gone the extra mile to make sure entire landscape is well trimmed, completely irrigated as needed, insect-free, and managers and team members have educated me on the correct ways in which to keep the yard in tip top shape when they cannot be on the scene.

From start to finish Jonnys Tree & Landscape service was exceptional! The consultation was free and very informative. We received a detailed proposal the next day which was very detailed and exactly what we discussed, and very reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. The crew arrived promptly on the schedule date and worked extremely well together as a team. They were all very mature, very polite and very accommodating if a change needed to be made. At the end of the day everything was cleaned up so well you never knew they had been there... cutting down trees, planting new trees, adding new irrigation, and cleaning up rock and gravel. They worked long and hard in the heat of the day to get the job done. A lead manager of the job came throughout the day to see that the job was being done correctly, and to see if the crew needed any assistance, etc. We have used them for several types of service...trimming trees, cutting down two huge sycamore trees and replacing them with deodoras, installing fake grass, building a decorative rock wall and planting over 30+ plants and shrubs. We would highly recommend this wonderful company and crew for any landscaping needs you might need!!!

We needed more softness in our heavily rocked landscaping and Jonny s met and exceeded our expectations by planting 5 trees, 40 shrubs, 22 roses, beautiful onyx boulders and accent lighting that brings it all to life. They have a professional and courteous staff anxious to ensure your satisfaction every step of the way. On their last day I asked them to relocate a huge boulder. They did it without hesitation and with smiles on their faces. Such a tremendous crew and company. They don t believe in cutting corners, they do it right and with pride in the quality of their work. They have expertise in planting, irrigation, hardscapes, stone, lighting ... they do it all. We are impressed and you will be too.

We were so pleased with the work Jonnys Tree and Landscaping did on our property. We hired them to trim our trees, including removing the miseltoe from our scrub oak trees and removing two dead trees in our yard. Not only did they arrive on time, they walked the property with us to discuss the scope of work and provide feedback on the work they would be providing that day, and why. The crew was very experienced to know what needed attention, and what was best left alone. They listened to our concerns and communicated in return with education in a friendly and helpful manner. We will be hiring them again later this year to help us continue to clean up our property with tree trimming and brush removal for fire safety.

They implemented all of our concepts/suggestions, to achieve wonderful results for our front & backyard needs. We used them for major construction of our new backyard landscape, as well as all new plant irrigation & outdoor lighting. (see before & after photos). Their staff is well trained, courteous, & PROFESSIONAL ... and they went beyond our high expectations. Specifically, we had four (4) project managers involved throughout ... and each brought their own unique & talented experiences, to achieve the final result. Kenny, Enrique, JR, and Kevin (and their respective teams), ALL worked in a coordinated effort, to be sure that we were happy, at every step of the way. I am also an experienced & professional engineer ... and everyone worked diligently & respectfully, as I often offered my 2 cents worth. Also, the initial project was limited in scope, but when we saw the result of the first phase, we greatly expanded the project, to include most of our property. Needless to say, we are very proud of their efforts and the final result.

I would love to rate this company higher. My initial dealings with Jonny and the company were good. I received a fair bid and called that day to accept. I signed and everything was good. I was told I would receive a call to schedule and appointment for my service and I never did. Well about 2-3 weeks went by and I called them. I was told again I would receive a call to set up service and was understanding of the fact that they could be busy right now. Its now been well over a month, going on 2 and still no call. Needless to say, Im a bit disappointed. UPDATE: Jonny personally came by my house and explained they attempted to contact me several times, my number was copied down wrong on the purposal. Human error from both parties, and he was apologetic and offered to make it right. I appreciate tha he and the company cared enough to follow through. Thank you, apologies.

Wow!!! Jonnys Tree & Landscaping Co. is the BEST in getting tough tree removal jobs done. They started the day with a cheery good morning shouted from the truck as they drove up. The trickiest scheduled job was to remove a 60 ft, pine tree growing through the deck and roof in the back of our home without causing any damage to the property. This was no ordinary crew. Their level of professionalism was evident from the start. Safety was always taken into consideration no matter what job they worked on.. The comradery between the crew members showed the respect each had for the other and the individual job skills each brought to the work site. They were constantly talking to each other, clearing the way for 100lb + logs to be dropped, handing up chain saws, dropping down heavy limbs and making sure that we, the owners, were out of harms way as we watched them work. Clean up was an ongoing process. As limbs were brought down, they were carried to the chipper and run through the machine. Sawdust was gathered up and removed. We had little to take care of when the crew was finished. An awesome job all the way around!! We will be hiring Jonnys Tree service again when we are ready to have limbs taken off of the remaining pine trees on our property. Jack and his team removed one tree and pruned several large Alligator and Pinon pines. Opened a view to Granite mountain without losing the full tree. Excellent trimming and after their clean up we cant even tell they were here! Highly recommend.

I found Jonny and his tree removal crew to be professional in all counts. They are trained in assessing tree health and chances of surviving, with lots of local experience. The tree removal crew showed up early, and were extremely safety conscious and efficient. I had a dying Ponderosa Pine that was 50-60 feet tall and old, just 15 feet from my house...and it was phenomenal to watch the removal crew in action. We purchased our 1.7 acre lot in 2014 and contacted Jonnys to remove trees in order to build the house. While we were walking the property Johnny showed us diseased trees that should be removed and ones that could be saved with treatment. While removing the trees they cut and stacked it for firewood. Now that the house is built, we have continued using their landscape service for monthly maintenance. That has worked great, adding new trees, adjusting watering times and general clean up. This winter I met with Kenny and we walked the property and he suggested many enhancements to the property from water control to appearance and the job turned out wonderful. Jonnys Tree and Landscaping service have been doing a great job at our office for several years. They do a professional job in a timely manner. We have been very pleased with their services, from weekly maintenance to tree trimming and tree removal.

Jonnys is THE BEST and weve tried several other landscaping companies in Prescott. In 2017 one crew came and thinned-out a lot of shrubs and trees on our lot for fire protection. They did an excellent job. Then, we had their Landscaper come and he gave us a detailed, written proposal for adding some flagstone along the side and back of our house, fixing some decayed wooden timbers and adding a walking trail down the back, steep part of our lot and some other improvements. Their crew is excellent, polite, clean and very professional. Later we will be doing our front yard with Jonnys. They are not cheap but well worth the price to get the job done professionally.

I recently moved to Prescott, Hidden Valley Ranch area with lots of pine trees around my house. My neighbors on both sides referred me to Jonnys Tree & Landscape to get my Ponderosa pines trimmed, as they were never done before. They also cleaned up all of the pine needles in the front, back and side yards that were there for over one year. They were on time, cleaned everything up beautifully and did a great job. They work really well as a team and were very efficient. I highly recommend them. I am also getting on a maintenance plan for the future pine needle clean-up!

Kenny DeHarts landscaping crew did an outstanding job this week. They prepared and planted trees, plants and flowers and made my yard look beautiful. They also added extra rock and the layout was perfect. I am so pleased and highly recommend Jonnys Tree and Landscaping.

Had a consultation with Jonny and Im very impressed with his knowledge of trees. He really gave me great information on what I could do myself to help keep my trees alive and gave me a reasonable bid for getting rid of the trees that are dying along with pruning.

Jonnys was great to work with. I had them give me an estimate on trimming two trees and remove one. When they arrived I found out that two trees had to be cut down and removed due to disease. They were very reasonable and up front with what needed to be done, quick and efficient in getting the job done.

Several months ago I noticed discoloration on my Aspen trees and some of the branches dying. I started researching what might be causing this and the steps that I should take so I didn t lose my trees. Long story short, a friend recommended I hire a certified arborist. Truly THE BEST in the area. We had an old 50ft poplar that quite rapidly went dry and brittle in just weeks. It was swaying and very dangerous.THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. Though at the furthest corner of our backyard Jonnys crew got the truck in there and the bucket stretched out and cut the thing down on a Saturday morning only two days after we got the quote. The price was reasonable. They didnt short cut or gouge us because the situation was dire. These are very honest talented people. We have nothing but awesome things to say about Jonnys Tree Service.

We had them trim a large tree and cut another down that was interfering with our solar panels. During the job, they asked for our input on a few things which they followed up on. We were glad to see a female on their crew. They are an equal opportunity employer. Most importantly, they are licensed, bonded, insured and have work comp.On the initial meeting with Jonny (who is a Certified Arborist), he explains what can and cant be done. He not only addressed all my concerns but also designed the landscaping to re-direct the flow of rain water more efficiently. It is perfect! He provided excellent service via phone, text and email. I found his team to be great workers, professional and polite. They arrived on time, worked hard, and left each day with things tidied. I also called Jonnys for an estimate to do some spring cleanup and tree pruning. At first Jonny came out and told me that the trees were so young they really didnt need pruning, but that the landscaping/maintenance department could easily shape them and that that would be much more economical for me. I made arrangements to have Kenny come out for the estimate for all the cleanup, detailing of every plant, checking the entire drip system to make sure it was working properly, removing quite a few bushes and replacing them with other plants. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Theyre honest; the crew arrived on the dot of 8:00 and accomplished in 4 1/2 hours what would have taken my husband and I a few weekends to do. They were courteous, professional, knew exactly what they were doing and used an incredible amount of care in planting my new shrubs and bushes -- just absolutely meticulous. When they left, my yard and walkways were cleaner than they were when the guys arrived in the morning. My yard looks so much better, and I can hardly wait to watch it bloom this spring now that the grasses and flowering plants have been cut back appropriately.

Very professional in all aspect of our project here at Watters Garden Center. Jonnys crew showed up on time, under budget and cleaned after the project was complete. They even took the time to grind a very large stump out of the ground for us and haul the wood chips away, WOW! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND JONNYS.

Very Rude, shotty work, total crook, horrible businessman, shister, liar, theif anb never follows thru and completes jobs that hes already been paid for and refuses to make things right....Beware!!!!!

I am extremely satisfied with the job that Jonny s crew did on our property! The team consisting of Rebecca, Jesse, Latham and Ricky as the foreman, worked extremely hard throughout the day, clearing our parcel of dead trees and brush. This is a very rugged area, and required climbing and maneuvering around large boulders. They hauled huge tree trunk sections and bundles of branches out on their shoulders, as well as numerous barrels full of loose material. Many of those loads were infested with ants, which resulted in a multitude of bites, and I apologized for their suffering, however no complaints from them just what they see all the time !...what warriors!! The result is a significant reduction in our fire hazard, and now we re enjoying a park-like quality, as they went above-and-beyond to rake up debris and improved trails to enable easier access. Jonny has also invested in top quality equipment, which gobbled up and mulched the 15 inch diameter trees in short order. The team was highly professional, courteous and diligent. I highly recommend that you give these folks your business in the future!! We definitely got our money s worth and I challenge you to find a harder working crew anywhere!!

I have been using Jonnys for five years. His crew has done many services for me including trimming, cleanup and drip system replacement and repair. The largest yearly job is trimming a large juniper to maintain my view. I used another service when I first moved here in 2010. The tree looked like the top had been chewed off by a giant beaver. Jonnys crew always leaves it clean and attractive. Always an excellent job!

we recently purchased a home in Hidden Valley. We had overgrown trees in the front of the house that were touching the structure as well as obsecuring our view. I called Johnnys Tree Service for a free estimate. I had problems with my elm trees, I hired the company to do the work. They came out on the exact date we agreed to, they were promptly here at 8:00 a.m. They were polite, professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They had all the right equipment,and were completely prepared. They did all the work as promised and I would not hesitate calling them again in the future. They also cleaned up all the mess. Had difficult location of Ponderosa over 50ft in tight spot. They did a professional and amazing job getting it out without affecting other trees or structures. They were also able to chip out the stump. Kept sight cleaned up as they worked and never knew they were there after. Will be hiring them again in the future.
