I do not recommend nor will I purchase from Landscape Depot due to the poor service, waste of time, and financial impact that it has caused myself and my client. Come to find out, the owner, Steve, was advised by his buddy that the yard was not ready for the sod to be delivered even after I had already purchased it with the promise date/time of delivery. They do business often but this incident ended up costing my client an additional $1035. Landscape Depot, didn t deliver the sod until 3 days later in which I had to help with the delivery since Steve stated that his driver couldn t make it to the site. This is after charging a $395 delivery fee and no refund or partial refund at that. The 9 pallets of sod made it to the site with the help of my truck and trailer, Steve did bring half of it. Then, we had to off load 9 pallets by hand because Steve didn t have the forklift as stated when the sod was purchased. Take your business elsewhere.

Glad Landscape Depot moved to Praireville just south of Hwy 42 on Airline. Steve has extensive knowledge with respect to all of our sod and landscaping needs.

We tried this dog food on the recommendation of a friend and my pups absolutely love it. Great quality and customer service.

I love this place! I ve been here a couple of times for some minor landscape supplies, and have always been helped out tremendously by Mr. Steve. Great customer service, above and beyond what you get at most places. And they generally have whatever you need in terms of dirt or rock.

Very rude customer service I called to inquire about mason stones to edge my garden and was told they may close at 10a due to rain ok but when I asked about Saturday s hours the caller said he has real customers here and didn t have time to answer all these questions! Needless to say I WON T be giving this store any of my time or money!!!

Steve and his team really came through on some bulk materials for me recently. They provided prompt and flexible delivery of top soil, silt and pine straw for a long overdue refresh of a large lot lawn. Couldn t have asked for an easier experience. Will definitely use them for future landscape needs.

The representative spoke over me (and told me to listen, and emphasized each syllable of his answer) after cutting me off to speak to in store customers instead of placing me on hold. I am sure most of us get the same questions daily from new clients. Treat each response as if it is the first time and allow them to finish speaking before doing so. Basics.

The owner and staff were very helpful even helping laying the tarp down on my trailer and strapping it down. They have some of the best garden soil in town. The owner mentioned it had mycorrhiza and even had the soil tested to inform customers of its pH. Nice to meet fellow Hickory Ridge neighbor.

Best garden soil ever!!! Ive shopped with LD for 2 years now and you cant get a better quality soil or a better price! The owner Steve is a great resource for gardening know how and has always been helpful and just a joy to speak with. Love this place!

The employee who showed my wife around pointed out a bunch of plants and told her the prices. Afterwards the owner hand wrote a quote and suddenly the prices had more than doubled. When she asked about the sudden change in price he it s because of electricity bills, rent etc. The price change wasn t for labor or removal because they were included as large separate line items. It was obvious that he was trying to take advantage of her. See photo for the inflated quote.

The owner, Steve was extremely courteous and helpful. They have a great inventory and especially a very good quality of sod. His sod is cut and is available to you in 2 days for most cases. All of the staff was extremely helpful and good quality products. I would highly recommend this facility as compared to nearby facilities of the same business.

3/1/2018; Giving this business one star is really being generous! I purchased Sod from Steve yesterday and it was delivered today by Maurice. You all should take a look at the photos I uploaded so that you can see and verify the sloppy job that was done by Maurice (the delivery driver). He was very rude, unprofessional and nonchalant when my husband stated he should fix the sloppy job. Maurice stated he would not and he had another job to go do. So basically he gave my husband and I a rushed, sloppy, ridiculous delivery job and didnt care whatsoever. I paid over $200 for this mess. I immediately sent the photos to Steve and expressed how displeased I was with the whole transaction. I told Steve to have Maurice come back and get this Sod because I am very dissatisfied with the work and wanted a refund. After Steve looked at the photos he then stated Yes, it is a sloppy job. I have never seen a picture of a delivery before now, and plenty people get that same delivery and they were satisfied with it. He then stated that he could not take the dirt back and he will talk to Maurice about the bad behavior and will send the picture I shared today to future customers so that they will know what to expect upon delivery. I was even charged a pallet fee and you can clearly see I didnt receive a pallet at all. At the end of the day TREAT EVERY customer just like it was your mother...... If this type of service would NOT be acceptable for your MOTHER then it should not be acceptable for me! For example, I could not sell you a broken car at full price and when I deliver it, I just drop it off and tell you just put a engine in it and expect you to be okay with that!!! You would be pissed off as well. If you want to run a respectful business and keep customers, do the right thing from the beginning to the end of service. Steve what you did to me today was DEAD WRONG. You absolutely admitted it was a crappy job yet you still did NOT put fourth any effort to rectify the situation or refund my money. Customer service is key and with this company, customer service is poor from management on down to the workers. If you want a company who will treat a customer right, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I went to Landscape Depot for the first time a few weeks ago. I had the opportunity to meet Steve. What a friendly, knowledgeable, man he is. We talked about what I was trying to do at our home, with a always very muddy entrance to our backyard. My idea was to use chipped limestone. Steve agreed and ask me how I would use the limestone. My answer was, I will just cover the mud with the limestone. He stepped in and gave me the much better way to do this chore. He told me that the limestone would eventually just sink into the mud and then what?? The advise was to first cover the mud path with this black cloth material that would allow water to pass through, but not the mud. So, I covered the walk way with the material followed by the chipped limestone. The area is now a good looking and pleasure to walk on path. I never could have figured this out without Steves advise. Thanks again, Steve for your knowledgeable advise. I will be back for future projects. Max Burnell
