If a red flag is the warning of bad things to come, then green flags represent my experience with Griffin Lawn Care. To start, another lawn care company referred me to Griffin when they were unable to accommodate my desperate request for a one time service for my backyard which was evidence that my regular lawn guy is going on his third week of recuperation. Green flag #2 - When calling Griffin, I was greeted by a polite representative who conducted the intake process quickly and professionally. Within 48 hours (on a Sunday) Moses contacted me regarding my preference for service dates. A day later I was informed that Troy would render the service the next day, which surpassed my expectations - Green flags #3 & 4. When Troy and his team finished, the meadow that was my backyard had been transformed into a finely manicured lawn that I am now proud to claim is mine. While its former state was embarrassing, I am writing this review to make sure that proper credit is given to those responsible for the amazing transformation: To the hardworking professionals at Griffin Lawn Care, thank you.

After the second time they cut my grass, they went up on the price and didn t even tell me. Then they would never give me a regular schedule. They just kept showing up to cut the grass, so I never knew when they were coming. I called a couple of times to ask to get put on a regular schedule. No one would ever call back. Finally, I called him and told him that I no longer wanted their services. I repeatedly called emailed text no one would answer my phone calls or return my phone calls. I even left messages and said I no longer wanted their services at all. Hired another lawn service. When Griffin came and cut my grass anyway after repeated attempts to cancel services with them. And then continue to charge me I had to go to my bank to block them from attempting to charge me again. This place sucks.

This was not an easy landscaping job since I m in Texas and they are in Louisiana working on a house I own there. But through texts and photos they made it work. Cody was very easy to work with ..very accommodating and pleasant and agreeable to what and how I wanted things done. I would recommend them but it would be a whole lot easier if you are in the area.

I ve been having Griffen lawn for about 6 months.. all I can say is they ran the lawnmower n mowed the grass and I paid them to take care of my flower beds n paid for stone to be put down .. and had hard time getting anyone out to keep it up .. Ask that they call before coming because I needed to show them how to get into the back yard and talk through some specifics about this lawn. Never called and didn t show up until 2 days later, when I wasn t there. Then did a poor job. Picture is from the day after the lawn was supposedly mowed.

Griffin lawn care has been a terrible experience for our neighborhood. They have terrible customer service. They do not respond to emails and voicemails. They do not do what is in their contract. If you expect them to fulfill what you have asked and paid for then you will have too high of expectations. I would not recommend this company for any neighborhood projects.

I was excited to use this well reviewed company, but after seeing my yard I wasn t happy at all. When Griffin Lawn wanted my business, they were responsive but after having a complaint on the job done, my concerns were ignored. I signed up for biweekly service and was reassured that they would assess the grass before mowing so my yard wouldn t be ruined, but that didn t happen! They mowed a day or two after rain. I sent the pictures and the nonchalant response was it ll go away with the next rain . It did not. Also, what professional leaves hay in the yard and cuts unevenly? I canceled via text since they didn t call back after two voicemails. I got an immediate text response saying okay. 0/10 would NOT recommend. I ll mow my own yard.

Do not recommend. Some of the plants they used in our flower bed died shortly after they planted them so we called and were told that they would come out and replace them. Have not and now will not return our phone calls. Terrible service.

Finally no weeds. They have a done a great job with my lawn and everyone that works there know their stuff and are very nice.

Beware!! They never came when scheduled to cut our lawn had to call and still didn t come when they said they would. The blades were set too high and after a cut the grass was still high. Started having only our front done and our price was supposed to be adjusted accordingly. Discontinued our service because of the lack of consistency. They actually charged our credit card MANUALLY without our permission! We were NEVER on a recurring or automatic payment option! And we should have a credit on our account for being overcharged multiple times being that our service was changed to only our front yard. Do not use these people!

This is the absolute worse lawn service!

I hired griffin lawn care after speaking with someone and coming to an agreement of 55 dollars every 2 weeks for a re occurring lawn service that includes cutting, weedeating, edging, and blowing off the grass clippings. I was excited about the quote as it was the lowest quote I had recieved out of several different companies. They came and cut on the day promised with no issues. The issue was a couple days after they cut my yard I get a phone call from the customer service person saying she must discuss changes to my contract. She said they were going to change my bi weekly payment from 55. To 75 due to my yard is bigger than they thought it was.. and that the initial cost if the first cut would be 100 dollars because the yard crew had to stay longer than anticipated because my yard was a bit high due to not being cut for about 3 weeks. This is just outrageous. Why enter into a contract with me for 55 and then change it due to your incompetence? Yard crew apparently told her that they were there for 3 hours. But i was there watching them and it lasted 1.5 hours. Why lie and try to get more money? Shady business practices. Shady people. I canceled the contract and I highly suggest anyone keep looking for another yard service.

Not happy with service, we live in another state and wanted someone reliable to cut our empty lot every month. They failed to come out twice and our grass was about 2 feet tall. When they did come out they cut our neighbors yard instead...they even used my neighbors mower which was sitting outside. We called them and they fixed it. The next month they didnt come out again but still charged us. We ended up going with a different company and lost our 55 dollars because it wasnt worth dealing with them. Also I think 55 dollars is a lot for 1 mow. I pay 60 in Florida for a large lot and they come 4 times a month.

On Nov. 3, Griffin Lawn Care took down my two and a half foot wide, 100 tall Magnolia tree. Done very professionally with care for my lawn and property. Crew worked well together and very efficiently. Cleaned up nicely after they were finished. Would highly recommend their tree service.

When I came home after getting my lawn cut by Griffin, I noticed my fence gate was slightly askew. When I inspected it closer, I noticed the bottom hinge had been impacted and turned inward causing that side to no longer line up. I couldnt open my gate more than half way because it was running into the ground and I couldnt close it because the latches no longer lined up. While cutting my grass they ran into my gate, damaging it enough to where it wouldnt open or close properly and just left it like that without notifying anyone (my wife works from home). I called Griffin and they did offer to send someone out to fix it. Turned out worse than before. The person who attempted to fix it just loosened the hinge and left it. The ineptitude would be funny if it wasnt so infuriating. They offered to fix it again and I told them not to bother as I would just do it myself. Needless to say, I would never in a million years use them again, and even when I think about it, I wish I would have literally called ANYONE else. BONUS: After fixing my own gate, I noticed they also ran into the smaller side gate on the other side of my house that went unnoticed for a couple weeks. They had so little regard for my property that they damaged both of my fence gates. Fence was less than 2 years old.
