I got estimates from 3 tree services to remove 2 pine trees and a huge maple tree. Also to grind those stumps and another maple stump cut down years ago. Rich's estimate was well under the other 2. He and Alex did all this in 2 days plus cut 2 more pines we decided to get rid of. And he cut a huge stump from a fallen tree on my neighbor's property for half the price my neighbor got quoted for. Everything was cleaned up and beautiful when they left. Rich and his son were both very nice, answered all our questions and are very knowledgeable arborists. Looking to have him come out and plant a couple trees for us soon. A family business that doesn't take advantage. What more could you ask for? Thanks again Rich and Alex
Rich has an extremely impressive and high tech operation! We had him remove 3 big trees close to our house. It only took him 1 day to remove the trees and grind the stumps. He even cleaned our gutters and removed debris off our roof! When they were done the job they raked up the yard, cleaned off the back deck and driveway and left the space better than they found it. Very reasonably priced and extremely professional!

Rich provided excellent service when a tree fell on an out building at my father in laws property. He came out to look at the site and did the job the next day. It was in an awkward location but Rich and his team were able to cut, stack and clean up the area flawlessly. Due to his years of experience he was also able to help me with my insurance claim as the insurance adjuster was originally being unreasonable. All contractors I hire should be so competent!
Rich and Alex came over for the first of two visits to trim and remove many dead ash trees around my property. The pricing was the best I've seen in the area and they were incredibly easy to work with. I told them it was not a priority, and when it came closer to the date they expected, they communicated very well due to some snow we got in the area, and fit me into their schedule. Rich was very knowledgeable and identified some more problematic trees that could have dropped on the power lines. I was so pleased with their work and the service provided that I am having them come back for another visit to take down some more in the spring. On top of that, they cut the logs into manageable sizes so that I am able to split them up for firewood. They also asked me if I wanted the wood chips, which are perfect for my kids' play area and for keeping the garden beds looking neat. I would 100% recommend their services.
Rich and his son helped my neighborhood clear a few large trees that fell after a recent storm. They were polite, efficient and even put a couple of yard ornaments back in their spots, which they didn’t have to do but was very much appreciated. I asked them about cutting down an additional dying tree unrelated to the storm, and they took it down that same day! I was really impressed with their attention to detail and work ethic, and I’d recommend them to anyone in the area.
We had Rich and his son come out to take down a huge oak tree in our side yard back in November of 2023. He did an excellent job and the clean up was impeccable! I love how meticulous he is! We highly recommend him. Thank you, Rich, for a job well done!
I hired Rich and his crew a couple months ago to remove a large dead oak tree and a dead ash tree that was hanging over my house. They were swift with removing the tree and did a great job all around. You could not tell at all that a tree was even in the location it was when they were done. All the sticks and leaves were cleaned up and they left no marks in my yard from there heavy equipment. Job well done. I would recommend for any tree service that you need.

Rich and his son just completed removing 7 trees from my property. The work was professional and the clean up spectacular. You cant tell they were even here.I expect to have them back for additional trimming and stump removal soon
Rich came out to do a fairly big job on our property. Took down a couple trees, trimmed bushes, cleaned up outside fence line, and spread a nice thick layer of wood chip mulch. The job took about a week to do (start to finish), and we were very pleased with the outcome.
Great experience using Rich and Alex for our huge project. They were able to provide insight on tree conditions throughout our property to help us determine what the scope should be. The project was on-time and on budget. Highly recommend!!

Richs Complete Tree Service was excellent. The price quoted was far more reasonable then the other quote we got, he arrived when promised, finished when promised and did not leave a mess. Rich and his crew removed a difficult tree from my property, and did so without tearing up my yard. They worked quickly, and were in and out within a few hours. I felt their pricing was fair and came in lower than expected. I will be using Richs Complete Tree Service from now on.
I used Richs to remove a large dead ash tree that half was hanging over my pool. Richs crew came in and in one day removed tree, limbs and even the sawdust from our yard! Very happy with the job he did.
All I know is that if you have a tree that needs to be taken down and you havent called him yet you are missing out on the top of the line service. I will call nobody but Rich.
We have used Rich MANY times over the last 15 years at both our former and current home. We have had him trim and remove trees as well grinding the stumps. He is highly professional and respectful of my neighbors- asking me to check with them before going on their property if he needs access it in order to get the job done. He always cleans everything up completely. His estimates are very reasonable when we have gotten other quotes. He gets back promptly when I place a call if he is unavailable. There have been times we have had urgent needs, and he has prioritized that work over anything routine. I wish we would have known Rich also does landscaping because we had a hill landscaped that he said he could have done cheaper! I always highly recommend Rich to anyone looking to have tree work done!
Have been trying to get Richs complete tree service out to do some tree work for better part of 4 years, numerous times they stated they would be out to look at tree, when they finally did, was told that an estimate would be sent... none has ever been given nor, any further contact.. They are very unprofessional, not to mention obviously unorganized. Called Jasons tree service, they came right out and scheduled the work.. Stay away from Richs Complete Tree Care

Rich s Tree Service is the Best! Rich and his crew worked tirelessly and skillfully to remove 12 large trees from my backyard. He conscientiously assured that the work would not impact our neighbors yard. Over the 2 days, he conscientiously cleaned up the yard, leaving it in an attractive appearance. I would highly recommend Rich! Because of his high quality of work, Rich is in high demand, particularly responding to recent storm damage. So be patient in waiting to be scheduled- his work is worth it.
We had four large trees that needed to be removed and the stumps needed grinding. Rich and his crew were here on schedule and the job was completed quickly and professionally. The rates were very competitive and we will use them again in the future if needed. Recommend them highly for any job necessary.
Used Richs tree service recently for tree removal and they did a great job. They fully removed tree with no problem and left my yard intact. Price reasonable and him and his sons just overall nice people. I highly recommend Richs tree service.
Do not call this guy. Not surprisingly that his ratings are either a 5 or 1. If he likes u or the job, he shows up. If not good luck. I used his services 2 times over the years. This past June I called, he came by, gave estimate. I let him know to do the work. After a month of no response I had to call him, he gave me a date, no call, no show. I called him again, he gave me another date, no call no show. Hes rude and not professional. I got the job done yesterday, beautiful work, no not Rich, call Ts trees. Tyler is nice guy and great work ethic.
Had him come out last April to get estimate on removing a tree for me. Gave me a price and I said whenever you can start is fine.It now almost a year later and never heard from him!I called twice during the year and was told the weather was the problem the first time,second was that I was still on the list and I would get a call before they came out! Well it s a year later,it must be the weather? Very unprofessional! I was told that if he doesn t want to do a job he just will blow you off.I guess this is why the tree is still standing?
DO NOT HIRE. Rich came down and did two trees in my yard and we paid him almost $6,000. We had an agreement he would come down to remove the stump in the center of our back yard to complete the job. He never called back so I waited after winter to call him back. He said he would come out that Saturday and never called, never showed up and blamed the weather. Then said this coming Saturday would come from 7-730. I took down a portion of my fence that morning so he could easily get his equipment in the yard and after an hour past 730, Rich didnt show up. When I called him he got a major attitude and said multiple times Its a stump, its a stump, well get to it when we get to it, Id have to bring out special equipment (is this dude serious???) as if it wasnt important to him to finish the job we agreed on then said I was the one getting the attitude. WHAT A HORRIBLE BUSINESS PERSON. Would NOT recommend.
Rich and his crew came on a Sunday took down for 130 140 foot trees at 7:30 a m left at 6:30 and there was no trace of Leafs no sticks no stumps left absolutely Professional Service would highly recommend very pleasant to get along with we will continue to use him in the future Ive read some of his reviews to my horror I cant believe anybody would have a problem with him you just tell him what you want done and walk away and it will be done

I would not use Rich. He is absolutely ignorant. I witness him completely freaking out on one of his workers in the middle of Pottstown and in front of a lot of people. Everyone was watching from the surrounding area. I could hear him from at least a block away. No one deserves to be talked to the way he was screaming at this pore guy. I dont care what he did freaking out on anyone this bad is insane and uncalled for.
We got an estimate and accepted it Nov 2016 with promise of work being done the following week. He never showed and promised a few other dates and didnt show for any of them AND didnt call to let us know he wasnt coming. It is now May 2017 and he still never came and stopped calling us back. Not reliable and horrible customer service.

Rich has performed work at our home three times in a two year period. This has included taking down two trees and trimming a very large Pin Oak tree. The work was always completed to our satisfaction and in a professional manner.
We had a difficult situation since the tree that needed to come down had an electrical line running through it and the tree was very close to our fence. I couldnt believe that they were able to get the tree down without touching the line or removing pieces of our fence. They were quick and clean and made a tough job look like a piece of cake. I would highly recommend Richs Complete Tree Service!
