Now that we ve had some significant and sustained rain, I can wholeheartedly give Whitehouse a 5 star review. Drainage issues are gone and now we are enjoying a gorgeous flagstone entrance to a front yard oasis complete with basalt fountain all at a reasonable price. From the start, Ted was responsive, flexible and willing to accommodate our budget concerns and make recommendations for cost efficiencies. He set very clear expectations and delivered exactly what we asked for at the quoted price. He even fit the job in early. I called other local landscapers and couldn t even get them to come out for a quote. We are thrilled with our outcome and will absolutely use Whitehouse again if we need future land or hardcaping.

I recently hired Whitehouse Landscaping for a privacy problem in a tight area of my driveway. I wasn t sure what could be done or what would look good. Ted came out and immediately came up with really nice ideas for a solution. He and his team, also Eve who helped choose plants, were really nice to work with. They answered any questions, were there when they said they would be and kept me posted on any changes. They did a really BEAUTIFUL job, it makes the front of my home look so much better. Over the past 20+ years I ve tried treating my lawn turf by myself and/or have used numerous professional services to control various weeds and create a nice lawn. Needless to say, the success rate was poor. I contracted Whitehouse as another attempt. I was impressed with their initial assessment and after the first growing season saw a remarkable difference in the health of my lawn. After 2 years, my lawn has turned into a plush grass with hardly a weed in sight. The grass is very thick and healthy. I am very pleased with the results. Last season, we discovered some unhealthy shrubs, and contracted Whitehouse to treat our shrubs. The result again was very positive, in that the sick shrubs have been restored. Thanks to Sam and his crew for all their attention to create a beautiful landscape.

We hired Ted and his company to put in a new paver patio with a pathway and some shrubs and flowers and the result was exactly what we wanted - Ted was great in taking care of the design of everything and grading the land for best drainage. Whitehouse Landscaping designed and installed a patio and landscaping in our backyard over the past few months. Working with Ted was extremely easy. Communication was great and he was able computer renderings of our design so we could see exactly what it looked like before they even broke ground. The final product looks better than we could have imagined. It s absolutely amazing. The installation crew (Drew and Brock) were phenomenal. They took such great care to ensure they didn t damage any of our existing landscaping throughout the process. They were very meticulous in their installation and they kept us updated throughout the process. Eve, Whitehouse s plant expert, took time to design just the right landscaping around the patio and even adjusted everything to be even nicer once the installation took place. The trees she picked out are gorgeous. The price was very competitive. Most of our other quotes were higher and we were getting less for that money. Whitehouse Landscaping will be our go-to landscaping contractor for as long as we live in their service area. We could not be happier. I cant say enough great things about working with Whitehouse Landscaping. From the very first consultation visit with Ted, I knew this company is who I wanted to rebuild my rock wall and redo my slate walkways because Teds vision was my vision from the minute that he stepped out of his car. I knew that I DID NOT want a cookie cutter walkway that looked like everyone elses. Drew and the rest of his crew (The Drew Crew) were phenomenal. They were very courteous, professional, and METICULOUS. The end result is a stunningly rebuilt rock wall with 2 natural stone sets of steps and slate walkways. I could not be happier with my project. I highly recommend Whitehouse Landscaping. We recently had our small and outdated paver patio replaced with a much better and bigger paver patio. Ted was great from the start. We went back and forth a few times with adjustments to the patio until we had it exactly how my wife and I wanted it. Ted was great and patient with all the adjustments we kept making. Drew and the rest of the crew were awesome and very respectful the whole time the project was being worked on. Ted and Drew kept me up to date on any small issues or changes that may have needed to be made. They fixed a major drainage issue while putting in the patio which was a huge help. In the end, we couldnt be happier with our new patio and backyard.

Ted and his company were wonderful to work with on my project. They were responsive, on time, and professionally met the agreed upon deliverable. We highly recommend Whitehouse Landscaping! We hired Ted and Sam for a very large hardscaping and landscaping project around our entire house. Their designs were creative and thoughtful, often spotting design elements we would not have considered. They responded to every question, need and concern, and they have an extremely high standard of work. There were a few instances where they even coordinated with other contractors we had working on the house to insure seamless work. Were so happy with the end result - you can see an example of the dramatic difference in the before and after pictures below!

We recently had a paver patio, outdoor fireplace, and pathway/side entrance designed and built by the team at Whitehouse landscaping. Our entire experience with them was great, from our initial design meetings and through completion of the project. Ted translated our design wishes into a plan to fit our property and worked with us to find creative ways to stay within our project budget. He went out of his way to help me complete portions of the project that I did myself to stay within budget, patiently answering my many questions and even stopping by on a weekend to give me a hand. During construction, there were several challenges that had to be overcome (bad weather, unexpected site conditions). The Whitehouse team promptly and consistently communicated each challenge to us so that we understood the issue, the schedule/cost impacts, and our options. The foreman for our project, Drew, and the entire installation team were courteous, friendly, and very concerned with the quality of the work. Their constant attention to detail and work ethic were appreciated and show through in the final product. We now have an incredible outdoor space to enjoy this summer and for many years to come.

Whitehouse Landscaping did a great job on both of our projects. They did a flower bed design/install at the front of our house followed by a design/install of hardscaping, flower beds, lighting and fencing at the back of the house. whitehouse landscaping was great , had a wall built in front of house did a terrific job. Ted took the time to look the job over, explain what they were going to do. while digging they found out they would have to dig deeper because of how the ground was.The crew contacted Ted, he came out and checked it all over and filled us in on the details and got the job done. I had some blocks installed as steps along my concrete porch. Ted came out beforehand to go over his recommendations. Drew showed up for the job (and another gentleman but didnt catch his name) and was very nice and explained everything and even gave me some tips on trimming a tree. There was a little mix-up on the blocks (not their fault - it was labeled wrong from the manufacturer) so they came back the following work day to finish up. They explained more about the blocks and cleaned up the area nicely. Ted also followed up with a call a few days after to check if we had any questions. Great service and friendly people. Would recommend!

We used Whitehouse Landscaping to tear down and replace our retaining wall and a set of steps that were falling part. They were very professional and they were quick with the work. Whitehouse landscaping was great, they are very professional and responsive. I highly recommend them for hardscaping and landscaping! My yard looks beautiful with new retaining wall, walkway, trees plants and my drainage issues resolved.

We were looking to have them come out and do some trimming, so we got an estimate. I couldnt believe what they wrote up. Its important to note that we had them come out in the fall of 2013 (I still have the receipt) and for the same 2 arborvitae and yellow cypress, along with 3 other leyland cypress (which weve gotten rid of since) they estimated $500.00 to trim. Now, 6 years later, theyre saying that with fewer items its $350.00 more for a total of $850.00?!? Also, apparently for 2 tiny (about 4 feet tall) alberta spruce (to turn them back into spirals) it will cost $283.33...?!? The icing on top, this was the same price/estimate for the other 3 (arborvitae & cypress) that just happened to be 10 feet tall. LOL. No thank you. Ridiculous. If they were just reasonable, they would have our service. Look somewhere else unless you feel like its ok to get robbed.

They carefully selected just the right stones and slabs to ensure the end result matched my existing stone work. they were particular about ensuring the steps were level and ergonomic to climb. One of the best things we ever did for our house! They put in a sidewalk for us, kept it clean along the way even through the snow and rain! They were very professional and even helped me carry in my groceries while I carried our little baby! They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, even down to making sure there wasn t debri wasn t on my car! We definitely were pleased with the outcome. Ted Whitehouse gave us an estimate for hardscaping the path on the side of our house. My wife and I would try to fix it up every year but it was very labor intensive. We only had a certain budget to work with so Ted listened to us about the look that we wanted and the type of stone we wanted to use. He gave us options to reduce the cost of the project. Based on Teds suggestions, were able to reuse some of the stone in the existing path to reduce the cost of materials for the new path. We also followed Teds advice in a couple other areas of the project that saved us money but did not reduce the quality of the project. The crew that came out to do the work was very professional and the communication between Whitehouse Landscaping and my wife and I was excellent. Having the path redone and landscaped by Whitehouse Landscaping has turned out to be an investment in our home. It not only has changed the entire look of that side of the house, it has also reduced the amount of labor Marie and I would have to do along that area of our property each year by 75%. I already had Ted come out to give me an estimate for the next project we are going to do next season with Whitehouse Landscaping!
