Ben has been taking care of our landscaping and yard maintenance needs for over four years. With respect to lawn cutting he and his crew show up every week on time and do and excellent job. The same applies to spring and fall cleanups. We could not be happier with his service. Also he is a nice guy, a gentleman and a pleasure to deal with.

Ben and his crew are incredible at their skill! I often feel it’s difficult to hire people to do things I can do; that no one does as good a job on your property as what you would do yourself. A Stones Throw Landscape is THE first company to prove me wrong! They get done with our yard and it brings such a smile to my face~ they do a better job than I do~ By far and this feels amazing! We have a business on the property as well~ and Ben and his crew are always respectful of navigating the people and cars. We have many dogs on the property and they always remember to close the fence gates! They don’t rush and rip up the yard. They don’t take short cuts; they do an incredibly thorough job ~ obviously I can’t say enough about these guys! And they are always friendly and seem happy to do their trade! - so refreshing.

Ben Stone and his team have always provided superior lawn mowing and maintenance to our 2 acre property. Ben is super reliable, extremely professional, pays attention to the details, and never disappoints. As a property manager of 36 years in the Seacoast area I have had my share of experiences with landscaping companies. I can say that I have been totally satisfied with Ben and his crews workmanship. I will continue to use them and I will highly recommend a Stone's Throw Landscaping to my clients.

I would highly advise people to be aware of what you're being charged for and what kind of customer service to expect from this company. We have been loyal customers for SEVEN years and have been routinely delayed service for the past couple because Ben is prioritizing his larger clients and leaving 'the little guy' behind. After finally getting a crew to come out last week to do a spring clean up, our eyes were opened in more ways than one. I don't believe his crew was aware that one of the homeowners was home, and I saw everything they did (and did NOT do) regarding our clean up- when we finally got the bill, there were a number of itemized tasks which I personally witnessed had not been done (nor had they ever even appeared in previous invoices) AND worst of all, we had mistakenly had an over $300 credit that we were not made aware of for SIX months! Wouldn't you notify and refund a customer who had accidentally overpaid?!! After writing to Ben, taking PHOTOGRAPHIC evidence of the yard and explaining what we'd witnessed, his response: 'You don't owe us anything. We'll discontinue service immediately'. Translation: That's fine. We don't need you. How's THAT for customer service and accountability to a client of seven years? Now our yard is half done, other landscaping crews are booked, all plants are overexposed because no mulch was laid, and we're forced to finish the job ourselves. Time to brush off the riding mower for the season. BE WARY.

We began using A Stones Throw this summer (2011) and they have been great to work with. Always show up when they say they will, do a great job taking care of our entire yard, and I would absolutely recommend them to a friend (I have in fact recommended them to several friends). Ben the owner is very trustworthy and hardworking. A great find.
