Installed approx 500 sq ft of new sod. Showed up on time, the two folks that came got right to work. Removed old grass, tilled the area (as soil had clay in it), rolled and raked to make sure everything was flat, laid fertilizer, and installed sod. Employees were pleasant to have around and always answered my questions. Had a slight hic-cup but issue was addressed and solved to my satisfaction without any problems. The sod was very nice, had thick grass and good color. Would use them again without hesitation.

The crew at J&C lawn care did a great job of replenishing the bark dust mulch in large areas in my front and back yard. The work was done in no time. The cleanup was just what I would want. I would recommend them for any landscape/yard maintenance that you may have.

Ive been waiting a couple of weeks for this company to come out and do the work we agreed they would do for me, at an agreed upon time. I called to check on their arrival time as I had not heard from them to confirm, and when I was finally able to speak to someone I was told they could not come out at all today! And, they could not tell me when they would be able to return. This is not customer service. Very unhappy with how they handled whatever came up that meant they couldnt come out here and not sure after this I could count on them to do what they say.

We had a great experience with J & C Lawn Care doing clean-up of an overgrown yard (major weeding!) and taking care of some branches that had fallen on the roof. One of the co-owners came out within a few days of contact to look at the job and discuss what we wanted. The conversation was thorough and a pleasure. We got a quote that evening. We were pleasantly surprised to learn the job could be scheduled even earlier than expected even though the company was very busy and we had been advised it might not be possible for several weeks. With both the initial encounter and the day the crew arrived we recd both a text message and an email with an accurate arrival time (which we really appreciated.) The two crew members were incredibly hardworking, polite and did a super job. The crew is to be complimented for how great a job they did gathering the weeds & trimmings to haul away and even blowing the stairs on their way out. The site was super clean! We couldnt be more pleased and will use J & C again.

I wish I had never signed with J&C. My husband contacted a handful of lawn maintenance companies back in May and we decided to go with J&C for both the initial clean up and year-around maintenance for our home. After charging us $1400 for a day worth of work for the initial cleanup, we couldnt get in contact with anyone from J&C for the weekly maintenance service that they laid out in the initial contract. Finally after weeks, they got back to us saying that they dont service in our area -- they only do commercial here, not residential. By this time, its early July and its harder than ever to get in touch to start maintenance service with a new company. I am still searching today. Some companies insist that we do another clean up for upwards of another thousand dollars. J&C really hung us out to dry, I hope they dont do this to other potential customers, its just so reckless and inconsiderate. The reason I gave 2 stars, instead of 1 is because the crew that was sent out was great. I appreciated their attention to details and hard work. I blame the estimators and the office at J&C for their lack of care and horrible communication.

The team at J and C Lawn Care have been fantastic. We have used them twice already and will use them moving forward for all our big yard jobs. They are professional and courteous, work really hard and methodically, and listen exactly to instructions of what you want. They are really hard workers and get big jobs done in a reasonable timeframe. Plus, they are super nice! I highly recommend them.

I hired J&C in spring of 2023 to mow the lawn and eradicate the weeds. The weeds in the lawn and adjacent areas were neither pulled nor sprayed until I called several times and then nothing was done about the weeds in the lawn, During the winter the weeds continued spreading; by spring, the weeds were out of control but J&C kept mowing and giving the weeds free rein. I called Chase and told him I didnt need his services anymore; he wanted to come by and take pictures. A few days later, I received a text message, saying that the day of mowing would be one day late.

Terrible customer service. I made an appointment for an estimate on weekly lawn care. They gave me a window and didn t show up. I called an hour after the window to check in and they said they d call me right back. Waited 4 hours and no call back. I called again only to be told they don t service my area (and yes they had my address to make the appointment). Don t waste your time with these guys.

These guys were amazing! They weeded, removed dead trees and debris, pruned and cleaned all the plant beds, power washed my driveway and pavers and added fresh mulch. Everything looks like the day we moved in, if not better. And they quoted me a price that was half what the other companies quoted. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

They were super helpful and quick. Easy to book, easy to deal with, which was what I needed most.

Our lawn was destroyed after the storm in January when 2 giant trees fell in our yard. After the arborists work was done removing and cleaning the place, our yard was a mess. J&C agreed to repair by putting dirt and seeds on the large swath of destroyed lawn. They had to get more dirt the first time apparently not calculating correctly the amount needed. There were plenty of large areas with bare spots and I asked them to come back. They did and threw dirt minimally but did not seed them apparently. We had to reseed much of the area. Very disappointed by the lack of care, not finishing the work that we hoped for. I paid them what they quoted (about $850) but they were a disappointment overall.

I did a simple Google search to find J&C Lawn Care. They were the fastest to respond, quote and set up service. I had reached out to a handful of others but no one responded. It was February so it wasnt officially busy season. I have no patience with businesses who cant follow up. J&C were on it! I was very pleased with the quality of service I received. My yard looked amazing after they did a spring clean up and spread 5 yards of mulch in the beds. I highly recommend and will plan to use them again.

It had been almost 2 years since I had my front yard worked on. It was a tall order to make it presentable again. But they did it! We have used this company twice. First time was 1 year ago to do complete yard cleanup, bed prep and mulch installation. They did an excellent job and added a good depth of mulch to our beds. Fast forward to March 1, 2023, they came back to do a spring cleanup and trim back overgrown shrubs, remove thorny blackberries, cut down a few large tree branches overhanging the driveway/roofline and clean up all the beds. Mulch amount is still great from last year. They removed all the debris, dead leaves, branches, etc. Our yard looks clean, tidy and ready to grow nicely for the coming spring/summer. We highly recommend them!

I hired them primarily to clear out some blackberries and ivy. The ivy, in particular, is a pain because it grows deep around the roots of my spruce and hemlock trees. They dug in deep to get as much out as humanly possible. Im sure itll come back eventually but should be easier to maintain. They also cleaned up some garden beds, digging out some grass that has been creeping in and redefined the edges installing a rock border. The guys were friendly and attentive to what I asked for. Arrived on time and took care not to disturb any other plants or my chickens. Fair price, good quality, responsive. Would definitely hire again.

The guys were terrific. Great at communicating, work efficiently and did awesome work. It s not realistic but we haven t seen a blackberry shoot since they did the dig.

We had J&C remove some massive, gnarly, old ivy patches in our yard. It was enveloping our mailbox, all around and under our shed, and creeping into our neighbors yards. With a team of two, they removed and cleaned up all our ivy in two days. It was such a relief to have it all gone and all the ivy debris taken away. We feel like we have our yard back. They were responsive and able to schedule us in a timely manner. We definitely recommend for ivy removal!

J&C Lawn Care did an incredible job. After months of neglect our 8000 SF Lot needed a complete cut back and overhaul. They trimmed all bushes, cleaned the garden beds, mowed, edged, cut down a handful of bushes etc. I brought the guys lunch and they had filled half of what looked like a 30-yard trailer in only a couple hours. Quick to communicate, very clear estimate and proposal, easy online pay. Id give them 6 stars if I could!

We finally have a go-to crew for our yard needs. We ve worked with a few different companies over the years, and our experience with J&C Lawn Care was the best by far. They went out of their way to squeeze us in before my daughter s outdoor birthday. It was wonderful to have the yard looking spectacular for the party even though I did not plan ahead and gave short notice. I was so impressed they made it happen. Their work was great and they did even more than was invoiced, and everything they did really brought our yard to a new level. I had J&C come out to trim some arborvitae bushes and lay down some bark dust. I was blown away by the efficiency with how they worked just the overall quality. I will be using them in the future.

I called J&C to haul away yard debris from my neighbors overgrown yard as a surprise while he was on an extended vacation. Not only did they load up all the piles in a timely manner at a very reasonable rate but also took care of the overgrown grass on the next door neighbors fence at no additional cost. Needless to say that the neighborhood loves J&C! I highly recommend J&C for any of your lawn maintenance needs.

They have a minimum charge of $600 for them to come out to your house plus whatever you need on top of it, apparently it s not worthwhile for them to just mowing the lawn!

Had this company come out to give a estimate for a backyard project of sod install and some gravel pathways. They came out in a timely manner, took about a week for the estimate which was fine. After waiting for some other companies to give me a price I decided to go with these guys. I called, texted, emailed to tell the I accept the bid and put me on the schedule. I NEVER heard from them! I waited a full week and still nothing. I know this is the busy season for companies like this, but not contacting a customer in over a week is not a good sign. Be very careful when working with this company. I wish it would have worked out, price was right...service not so much.

My experience with J and C was the best! I had been struggling with an easy, affordable solution to a problem area in my backyard. I saw their ad on Facebook and looked at pictures of their work, which seemed to focus on simple solutions for real people with real backyards and real budgets. Chace looked at my property, suggested a terrific solution, and quoted a price I thought was more than reasonable. His team worked so hard to dig through clay and around big tree roots. He picked up some mulch, realized it was not what he wanted, and said unless I was okay with it, he would return it for a product more in line with our original thinking. We agreed he should exchange it.I was so impressed with this level of integrity when he could have just used it. The finished work is beautiful, exactly what he proposed and exactly what I wanted. He said he wanted the design to complement the rest of the yard, and everything about it, including plants he selected, fits right in. I am beyond satisfied, and highly recommend this business to those looking for help with their yard, and who do not want to pay for high end fancy landscaping. My neighbors say they will be calling for help with their yards. Thank you so much!

We had seven trees cut down which then enabled us to do a total yard renovation. C and J gave us a bid, set up the schedule, and then had to contend with variables that could not have been foreseen, including snow and adverse weather. But the primary issue was having to remove all the tree roots in order to reslope the front, lay the sod and shape the flower beds. Chace and Eric took it all in stride and we wound up with a beautiful new green yard, front and back. Were working on filling in the flower beds and greatly appreciate all the work that C and J put into our yard to the point it is. Great end result that required the above-and-beyond effort of C and J.

First experience was not what I had expected. Made initial contact at end of June and was given a quote which I agreed to. There was to be a weekly cutting and maint of my yard but no one arrived until I sent E Mail to them. I had called several times to get a schedule from them but only got voice mail so left message with no return response. Finally got E Mail from them telling me they would be here on 07-12 but they failed to show however they did send E Mail late in the day saying due to unforseen circumstances they would be here next which they did...person arrived at 6 pm and did a quick cut. There were some areas totally missed with the cut and some of the edging left something to be desired. I will try them again this coming week and hope for improvement. I am a yard nut but due to a medical issue I cannot work my own yard. I would expect better.

A five star job from start to finish. I had my backyard cleared, leveled and sodded. I had a small wall built for a raised flower bed. I had bark dust put around the perimeter of my yard. They had a great crew who knew what they were doing. They were all friendly and easy to talk to. They did a fantastic job. I am very, very pleased I chose J&C for my landscaping.

Its been years since Ive written a bad review and I generally hate doing it but........ when you quote someone $45 dollars every other week to do the smallest front yard and bushes combo you could ever do, AND you know exactly where the location is and then you get to that house and say you cant do it cause it falls outside your property range even though you already knew EXACTLY where it was to begin with, thats pretty bad. But to make matters worse, you say its $45 dollars and after saying it falls out of the property range but well do the initial clean up for $550, thats just a good old fashioned bait and switch. Dont tell someone its $45 dollars and that you can do it, and then you get there and say its $550 and that you cant. Its a HORRIBLE business practice and Im super annoyed that my wife had to deal with all that nonsense. Change your practices and tactics because they suck. Thanks.
