Allen's Lawn Care Landscape & Garden Center in Portage

Way too expensive. Hired to blow leaves to the street. Crew left my trash and recycling bins on neighbor's property (which they didn't have to move in the 1st place) and left the leaves piled right next to the driveway where the bins have to go on trash day and the leaves need to be moved - not my job (also I'm handicapped).

Great perennials! I had used Allen's for core aeration and garden dirt delivery in the past but just looked at flowers last year. Great choice of healthy perennials. A beautiful hollyhock and Shasta daisy

I give huge props to this man! Been struggling to get out my driveway for a while and came and plowed and did an amazing job! I highly recommend him for snow removal!

Sort nice staff... the greeter "little bit" is the sweetest. They just make you feel welcomed.

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the initial work they did was OK. During the initial consultation, in early spring, I asked them about seasonal maintenance and weed control. After they completed the work, I called them to follow-up on the weed control. I left several messages, even spoke to Shay, the OWNER, and she assured me they would be in touch. After about 3 weeks of waiting for a response, I made one final call. I expressed my frustration to the woman on the phone, stating I felt as if I was being blown off. She assured me this was not the case and they would be in touch soon. I never heard back from them. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are rude, unprofessional and an embarrassment to small business owners.

Allen's crew were very professional and friendly and most of all did everything I asked them to do. They removed 30 years of mulch and put down rock and a beautiful paver patio for our spa. Also in the fall they do an excellent job blowing out and removing the leaves

We had an emergency situation with our trucking company involving a displaced boulder and torn up grass from a tractor trailer. I called Allen and his guys and they swooped in and saved the day. Took them 3 hours from the first phone call to job completion. Couldn't have asked for better service. Great people and excellent work!

I called Allen's in April for a quote. It was sent to me and I had a couple additions and clarifications. I followed up 2 weeks later on the quote and was told they hadn't had a chance to revise and they'd be in touch when it was ready. It's now June. I followed up last week to see if it was still on their radar. Still no response. If you can't take my project just tell me! Or at least acknowledge you are working on it. Don't ghost me!! Horrible way to treat a 43 yr old widow who just needs some help!
